"April!" Light calls out for the fourth time since he joined her in the class, it was almost time for assembly, they were also clearly the only ones in the class. Once he gets no response, he taps her. Making April flinch.

"I have been calling your name, what's going on in this small brain of yours." Light says while he playfully uses his finger to push her head a little.

"How long have you been here?" April asks, not minding how dumb she sounded.

"Long enough to have called your name four times." Light chuckles.

"Don't be ridiculous." April smile, and gets up immediately. If there was one person who made her forget about her problems, it was Light.

"You know I got you a Christmas gift and forgot it at home." Light says and chuckles, meanwhile, April smiles. "Don't worry, I will get it during the mid-term," Light smiles. Meanwhile, April who had bigger things in mind just nods playfully. She picks up her bag from the chair, since the money incident, she never kept her bag without being with it. She attempts to walk away but gets pulled back by Light.

Speechless by the way he pulled her, she looks into his eyes for some time.

"What's wrong?" Light asks with a serious look on his face. "You don't look bright, the way you just behaved, isn't the way you would have." Light says and takes a deep breath.

"Is it because of Dumlesi? Look you don't need to let all those hurtful words she says get to you. You are better than that. Always know you are you and nothing can change that. People will hate you for no reason while some will also love you. Always know you don't need anyone to survive," Light says.

"You won't understand how I feel. I just... I.., " She takes a deep breath.

     Wendy turns to Tari with an inquisitive look. Meanwhile, Tari places his right hand on her lap.

"We are in the class." She says almost in a whisper. She also noticed they were the only ones on the seat, she didn't even notice when Darlintina left. It was a free period, and as usual, the most valuable thing they did during this time, was make noise and eat.

"So?" Tari asks with a small smile playing on his lips.

"What are you even doing here? Where is Gideon?" Wendy asks, her eyes finally landing on Gideon who was having a conversation with Efe. Meanwhile, Tari chuckles.
"Honestly, if your mission is to distract me this term, it won't work." Tari rests his head on the desk and starts laughing.

"Let's meet at the old library," Tari says almost in a whisper.

"To do what?" Wendy asks with a raised eyebrow.

"To study what else?" Tari chuckles. Meanwhile, he starts drawing circles on Wendy's lap. She looks up at him with a raised eyebrow, meanwhile, he lets out a mischievous smile.

Wendy's eyes suddenly grew wide when Tari undid the button on her skirt, his hands suddenly finding their way into her skirt.

"Tari!" She scolds.

"We are in class for Christ sake."

He watches her silently, till she finally looks his way, he noticed how fast her facial expression changes and how she looked away.

His gaze follows her till she got to a table. He could partially see her face, with the way she sat, and he was damn sure she knew he was still looking at her.

He looks up immediately he gets tapped roughly, only to see the inquisitive look on his friend's face.

"Later you will tell me you have nothing with that girl." Wealth says in a carefree manner. "She is fuckable sha." Wealth says he didn't miss the irritable look on Jordan's face.

"Having anything with that girl is tantamount to destroying her life. And you know that." Goriola says with a bored look on his face.

"Who said I have anything with her? Must people always misunderstand a boy and girl's genuine friendship?" Jordan says, making Wealth burst into laughter.

"No, you are teaching her biology. But please don't get to the reproduction part, because you really need to get to the practical aspect, so she could understand better." Wealth says, making Jordan chuckle. "And when did you start keeping female friends who aren't your fuck buddy, worst still a junior student. Jay, we aren't fools now, don't downgrade us like that."

"Yes. I anticipated seeing you, and I was kinda disappointed." He chuckles, meanwhile Wendy takes a step back. Her eyes met with the last person she expected.

    Tari stood close to one of the entrances staring at them openly. Wondering how long he had been there, she stared back.

"Wondering if I could get your digit." Wealth suddenly says cutting through her thought.

"I didn't come to school with my phone." She responds, and she could see the look of amusement on his face.

"It's kind of distracting." She says letting out a smile that didn't meet her eyes. Of course, she wasn't going to tell him, her mum seized her phone or she wasn't allowed to carry a phone to school.

"I understand, I can still get it, it might be useful later." Wealth says.

"Right." Wendy nods with a smile, trying her best to keep a straight face.

Immediately April gets out of the prep hall, and she heads straight to the restroom, she could tell someone had been following, but since it was daylight and an open area, she decides not to panic. on getting to the entrance she decides to run in but gets pulled and dragged to a corner.

There was no way she couldn't recognize that scent anywhere.

She quickly looks up to Jordan who had a soft look on his face.

"Why are you running away from me?"
