09 | expect the unexpected
The air around you is bustling with the usual city sounds as you wander, curiously sniffing the unfamiliar scents of Tokyo, your senses sharper than most. Amid the hum of chatter and the distant roar of traffic, a brash voice catches your attention. You glance around and spot a girl, standing with an air of bold confidence, shouting at an old man who's clearly in the middle of scouting models.
"Oi, I should be cast too! Don't you think I'm pretty?" she calls out, hands on her hips, a cheeky smile on her face.
The old man scratches his head awkwardly, clearly flustered, his gaze darting around as though seeking a way to escape the intense attention. You stifle a giggle at the sight—this girl clearly isn't shy.
Before anyone else can make a move, Gojo's voice rings out, ever the drama king. "Hey, hey, what's going on here?" he calls, strolling up with that signature, carefree swagger of his. His blindfold flutters slightly in the breeze as he gives the girl a big, flashy grin.
The girl jumps back, startled by Gojo's sudden appearance, her eyes widening in disbelief at the mysterious figure before her. "What the hell?!" she exclaims, her brows furrowing as she stares at his blindfold. "Why're you wearing that thing? Are you hiding something weird under there?"
Gojo's grin only grows, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes as he leans in, completely unfazed. "Oh, you'll never know the mystery of me, sweetheart," he teases, earning an exaggerated eye roll from Megumi, who stands a bit off to the side, clearly not as amused.
The girl, however, seems to brush off Gojo's antics as she shifts her attention to the rest of the group. With a dramatic flair, she shoves her bag into a nearby coin locker, only to turn around with a proud smirk. "The name's Nobara Kugisaki," she declares, hands on her hips, "and you guys are so lucky to have me as the woman of your group. You better get used to my charm."
You, having overheard her confident declaration, can't help but smile. The girl radiates energy, and for a moment, you find yourself charmed by her boldness. But that all changes when her eyes land on you.
Her gaze locks onto you with an almost childlike wonder, eyes wide as she points a finger in your direction. "Aww, look at your ears, your tail, and—oh my gosh—your wings!" she gushes, bouncing on the balls of her feet in excitement.
You tilt your head, amused by the sudden shift in her attention. "Yeah, yeah, I get it," you chuckle, fluffing your wings out with an exaggerated stretch. You give a playful wink. "Not every day you meet a real dragon, huh?"
Nobara's mouth drops open. "A dragon?" she repeats, eyes nearly sparkling with disbelief. "And you can talk, too? That's—" She pauses, trying to find the right words. "That's insane! You're like... the ultimate badass!"
Gojo smirks, ever the instigator. "Well, she is pretty cool, right?" he says, throwing a wink your way. "But don't get too attached, Nobara. There's plenty of room for only one 'coolest' person around here."
Nobara rolls her eyes, unfazed. "Please," she scoffs, turning back to you. "I can't even handle this. You're basically a walking legend."
You chuckle, lifting your chin with a playful air of royalty. "I mean, I am the queen, but let's not make a big deal of it."
Her jaw drops again, this time in full-on awe. "The queen?!" she squeals. "Okay, now I really want to hang out with you. What's it like being so... cool?"
You laugh, shaking your head as the group begins to move toward the next destination. "Stick with me, and you might just find out."
As you walk alongside Nobara, Itadori, and the others, the vibrant energy of Tokyo continues to swirl around you. You know this is just the beginning of something new, but already, it feels like home.

The air is buzzing with excitement as Gojo, grinning like a mischievous cat, announces that it's time for a tour of Tokyo. "Alright, team! Since we're all together, I think it's the perfect time for a sightseeing adventure!" he declares, waving his arms in the air with exuberance.
Yuji and Nobara exchange excited glances, their faces lighting up with the kind of joy only an unexpected vacation could bring. "Roppongi, right?" Yuji says, practically bouncing on his feet. "We're going to check out the lights, the food, maybe even the arcades!"
Nobara, looking equally hyped, adds, "Yeah! A full-on Tokyo tour! I'm expecting the best. We deserve it!"
Gojo's grin stretches wider. "Oh, definitely, definitely," he agrees, his voice dripping with playful excitement. But then his eyes gleam with something else. "But we're not going to Roppongi... We're going somewhere even better."
Nobara's enthusiasm falters slightly. "Better than Roppongi?" she echoes, blinking in disbelief. "Is that even possible?"
Without waiting for an answer, Gojo spins on his heel and starts leading them down a narrow street that's far removed from the glamorous city center. Megumi trails behind, sighing with that usual, unamused expression of his, while you follow, your tail flicking lazily behind you as you take in the unfamiliar surroundings.
The group eventually finds themselves in front of an old, decaying building, crumbling with age. The sky above grows dark and brooding, the air thick with a sense of unease. "Here we are!" Gojo announces with a dramatic flourish, spreading his arms wide, as though presenting the grandest of destinations.
Nobara's face falls. "Wait, this is the tour? This rundown, creepy building?" she asks, her voice already tinged with confusion and a bit of annoyance. Yuji, on the other hand, doesn't immediately question it; he's still too hyped about the adventure to notice anything odd, but his grin falters slightly as he takes in the eerie vibes.
"Yeah, look at this place," Gojo says, gesturing toward the structure with a devilish grin. "This, my friends, is where the real Tokyo experience happens."
Megumi steps forward, his voice calm and composed as always. "A curse has taken over this abandoned building. It's not the typical tourist spot you'd expect, but it's a perfect training opportunity."
Nobara, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, scoffs. "Training? In a creepy, haunted building?" She crosses her arms, eyeing Gojo like he's lost his mind. "Seriously, how is it that a jujutsu student doesn't know how to spot a curse in a cemetery?"
"Actually, it's not just about spotting curses," Megumi interjects smoothly, his usual calm demeanor still intact. "It's about understanding how curses manifest. Cemeteries, for example, carry a lot of fear. People associate them with death and loss, and that fear attracts curses. It's the ideal environment for them to grow strong."
Nobara stares at him, blinking a few times in stunned silence before she scoffs. "Wait—so you, a jujutsu student, didn't already know that? That's kinda basic, don't you think?" She looks between Megumi and Yuji, her eyes narrowing in disbelief.
Megumi just gives her a level-headed look, not taking her criticism to heart. "There's more to it than you think," he replies, shrugging.
Yuji, eager to change the subject (and avoid the tension), pipes up with a grin, "Yeah, but this place is freaky! It'll be a blast, right?"
Before anyone can respond, Nobara's eyes catch on something else entirely. She looks at Yuji and her face contorts in sudden horror. "Wait, you swallowed Sukuna's finger, didn't you?" she says, eyes wide and filled with disgust.
Yuji, blushing in embarrassment, scratches the back of his head. "Uh, yeah... long story," he mumbles, looking anywhere but at her.
Nobara's face scrunches up like she just smelled something terrible. "You... ate a curse?!" she practically shrieks, horrified. "That's so gross! I can't even imagine—"
You chuckle softly, the sound of your laughter light and amused. "Oh, trust me, girl, you're in for a wild ride with this group," you say, your voice teasing as you wink at her. "But don't worry, Yuji's not as gross as he seems."
Nobara stares at you for a moment, clearly still processing everything that's happening. Her expression softens slightly as she looks you over again—tail, wings, and all—and then she chuckles nervously. "Yeah, okay, maybe this is turning out to be a little more interesting than I thought."
Yuji, relieved that Nobara's focus has shifted, cracks a grin. "See? It's not all bad!"
You stretch your wings out, your tail flicking playfully behind you. "Well, I'm here to make sure you all don't die," you say with a smile, your voice lighthearted, though the underlying seriousness of the situation still looms. "So let's go deal with this curse."
Nobara stares at you for a moment longer, then sighs, letting out an exaggerated breath. "I can't believe this is my life now. Curses, dragons, jujutsu students..." she mutters, shaking her head. "I'm never going to get used to this."
The group shares a laugh as you all enter the building, the tension of the situation lightened by your easy camaraderie. As you step into the darkness, a sense of anticipation stirs within you. There's danger ahead, yes, but there's also the promise of discovering what this group is truly made of.
