[ RECAP ]

"Bye Semisemi," I say. He says his goodbye before hanging up. I then heard footsteps approaching me and turn to the person.

"Y/N, who were you talking to?" Yachi asks as she tilts her head.

[ AT SHIRATORIZAWA ]

"I am extremely disappointed in your actions," Coach Washijo crosses his arm as he glares at each one of the boys who engaged in the fight.

Semi and Ushijima were in the corner watching their team get scolded and couldn't help but feel pity for them. "This was all my fault," Semi muttered.

"How was it your fault?" Ushijima asked him. "You got hit with the ball first, I don't get it."

"Go to your classes," the coach of the team interrupted before Semi could respond to Ushijima.

"I've never met anyone so scarier in my life," Tendou winces as he approaches the two. "Anyways, I'm not looking forward to the rematch tomorrow."

"Let's just try our hardest to be on our best behavior," Reon tells him.

"Especially Semi," Shirabu scoffs which catches the attention of the team.

"Why?" The bell rang causing Tendou, Ushijima, and Reon to bolt to their classes, leaving Shirabu and Semi alone.

"Why did y-"

"I'm not blind or dumb," Shirabu deadpans. "I know about your little secret."

"Which is?" Semi raises an eyebrow.

"That girl from Karasuno," Semi's eyes widen. "I know she's the one you been seeing, it's so obvious. You make it obvious. Staring, smiling, and talking to her during the practice match gave it off."

"So are you going to tell the team?"

"No," Shirabu responds. "It's not for me to say, but I don't want it to cause us any more trouble."

"What are you trying to say?"

"Stop," Shirabu responds. "If you keep making it obvious it will upset her team and ours. I don't want to get scolded again. So during the rematch, don't do the same thing you did yesterday."

"Fine," Semi understood what Shirabu wanted. He couldn't help but agree that he was indeed making it kind of obvious. He sighed in relief knowing that Shirabu was the only one who noticed and won't say anything.

Semi ran to his class and the teacher scolded him for coming late before letting him take his seat. "Late? That's a new one for you."

"It was a last-minute thing," Semi responded to Sato.

"So I was thinking," Sato twirls her hair a bit. "Do you want to go out again? Are you free today?"

"No," Semi shook his head. "I'll be busy."

"What about tomorrow?"

"I have a practice match," Semi responded which made Sato frown.

"Come on Semiiii," Sato pouted. "Are you sure you're not free today?"

"I'm sure," Semi nodded, thinking about Y/N.

"Fine," Sato sighed. Semi did indeed had a crush on Sato ever since his first year in Shiratorizawa, but he wanted to see Y/N instead. He felt a much stronger connection to Y/N in such a small amount of time than he did in his years of knowing Sato.

Sato was not a bad person in Semi's eyes but she was nothing like Y/N. "This girl," he thinks to himself as his lip curves upward.

[ 11 HOURS LATER ]

"Bye Daichi," Y/N waved as she grabbed her purse and opened the door. Daichi ran over to her and instantly shut the door before she could go through.

"Where do you think you're going? It's 7," Daichi raised an eyebrow.

"I have a project with Tanaka remember?" Y/N responded.

"Fine, but be here by 9, no later," Daichi crosses his arms.

"I will, I will," Y/N rolled her eyes. "You're so overprotective."

"I just care about you," Daichi sighed. "Text me when you get there."

"Bye," Y/N waved as she headed towards the guitar shop instead of Tanaka's house.

She talked to Tanaka in class about covering up for her so Daichi wouldn't find out. She was extremely grateful for having a great friend like Tanaka, who even heard her songs during class. He loved them and even questioned why she wasn't famous already.

Y/N felt bad for not telling Tanaka about Semi being the one she has been seeing, but she was afraid that he would either be mad or won't be able to keep quiet about it.

Not only was she worried about Tanaka finding out, but she was worried that Yachi must have figured out something was going on between her and Semi.

Flashback

"Y/N, who were you talking to?" Yachi asks as she tilts her head.

"No one," Y/N rubbed her nape as she stuck her phone into her pocket.

"I know it's not my place to ask but is there something going on between you and that pinch server from Shiratorizawa?"

"Huh? Why?"

"Well, he stared at you a lot and smiled whenever you made eye contact with him," Yachi responded.

"There's nothing going on," Y/N shook her head. "It's probably because of the outfit I was wearing."

"I guess you're right," Yachi nodded. Y/N felt bad for lying to Yachi as well, but she was afraid that she wouldn't be able to keep the secret from the team.

End of Flashback

"BOO," she felt someone place their hands on her shoulders. She swung out of reflex and her eyes widen once she saw who she almost punched.

"I'm so sorry Semisemi," she said as she takes her earphones off. Semi stood straight up after dodging her hit. His eyes were wide and he sweatdropped on how close he could have been punched. "Are you okay?"

"Remind me not to ever do that to you again," he laughs which causes Y/N to smile.

"I didn't think it would work," Semi tells her. "I tripped a bit earlier before getting to you and I'm surprised you didn't hear me."

"I had earphones in. You tripped?"

"Yeah, but it's all good. What were you listening to?" He points at her phone and Y/N instantly had stars in her eyes. Semi knew that look already and figured that it must have been the songs Y/N made.

"You want to hear them?"

"They better not make my ears bleed," Semi jokes. Y/N could have burst of happiness and gratitude at how Semi agreed to hear her songs without hesitation. Semi grabs her hand which causes Y/N's eyes to widen and tilt her head in confusion.

"Come with me," Semi tells her.

"Where are we going?"

"Someplace where we could be alone and hear your songs in peace," Semi smiles. "Trust me."
