LEXI WAS LAYING DOWN ON THE SOFA, still contemplating if she should still meet up with Eli. She was fiddling with her fingers while letting out an exasperated sigh. A piece inside of her kept saying to meet up with him, but another part said to stay home and crawl into a hole.

Lexi couldn't even comprehend the footsteps that were walking towards her since she was so caught up in her thoughts. By the time Lexi brought her thoughts back into reality, she let out a groan of pain when her brother sat on her legs.

"Anthony, you dick. The hell was that for?" Lexi sat up and pushed off her brother a little harsher than intended. She was about to scold him even more until she noticed the upset look on his face and Lexi furrowed her eyebrows. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"Lex, I think I made a mistake," Anthony said cautiously, not sure how his older sister was going to react.

"What did you do, Anthony?"

The young LaRusso boy stayed silent for a while, trying to figure out how he was going to explain this to Lexi. He muttered out inaudible words before actually saying what was on his mind.

"There's this kid at my school and my friends and I have beenโ€”well not the nicest to him and I'm starting to think I'm a bad person." Anthony held his head low, filled with shame and regret from his interactions with Kenny. Lexi had a look of sympathy on her face and nudged his shoulder playfully to hopefully lighten the mood.

"Hey, Anthony, we're all still young and we are all going to make mistakes. Don't let this one thing make you the person you don't want to be in the future. Try to be friends with them and see what happens," Anthony nodded his head, trying to listen to this sister, but he simply couldn't grasp the fact of him changing.

But in Anthony's mind, whenever Lexi gave him advice, it usually worked and it was much better compared to his other family members.

"Thanks, Lex, I appreciate your advice. This is why you're my favorite sibling." Lexi's mouth gaped open slightly, making sure Sam wasn't there to hear that.

"I'm going to tell Sam you said that," Lexi said in a teasing tone. She laughed even harder when Anthony's eyes widened in fear and he threw a pillow on her face, faintly hearing a 'puff' noise.

"Bitch."

"Jerk."

There was a comfortable silence between the two siblings after their laughter died down until Anthony spoke up again. "I'm sorry that you and your boyfriend broke up. He doesn't deserve you if he thought it would have been a good idea to let you go."

Lanie looked at Anthony with a confused expression, not knowing how he knew this information. She barely told anyone about the breakup and Lexi remembered clearly that she didn't tell Anthony yet.

"How did you know? I never told you this?" Anthony let out a nervous laugh and scratched the back of his head slightly.

"Robby told me. He texted me and asked me if you were okay, but I told him you haven't been home for a few days, then he explained to me what happened. It's not like he could've gone to Dad or Sam." Lexi nodded her head, not mad that Robby told Anthony about her breakup, but she did wish that she was going to be the one to tell him.

"Yeah, I'm supposed to meet up with Eli later today. He wants to talk to me ad honestly I'm contemplating whether I should go or not.

"You should go, see what he has to say. After all, you literally did just tell me that we are all young and we make mistakes." Lexi sighed at her brother's words, knowing he was right and this made her, even more, provoked to see Eli.

"Besides, I knew Eli loved you and you loved him. I knew how happy he made you." Lexi smiled in awe of her soft side with Anthony, knowing she rarely gets to see it. She pounced on him and embraced him in a tight hug, making him stumble back slightly.

"Lexi. Can't. Breathe," Anthony said in a strained voice, losing the air in his lungs.

"Oh, sorry. You know I'm glad we had this talk. I'm sure it helped both of our problems. Thanks, little bro." Lexi stood up and ruffled Anthony's hair before getting herself ready to see Eli.

"I'm only like a year younger than you plus, I'm taller than you. Also if Eli does anything to make you upset, tell him that he will have to deal with me." Anthony stood up confidently and walked away to go up the stairs to his room.

"I'm sure he would easily kick your ass since you do nothing but sit on it all day." Anthony simply flipped off his sister, not even looking back at her as he walked up the stairs to play Dungeon Lords and Lexi sighed at her younger brother, shaking her head incredulously with a smile.

Lexi sat on top of the orchard hill, embracing the heat that was radiating on her face from the sun. She took in a deep breath, instantly releasing her stress. The peaceful sight in front of her made Lexi even more relaxed.

Lexi and Eli used to sit in the middle of the grass and watch the sunset almost every day before they broke up. But now, it was simply a reminder of the boy she lost.

The sounds of rustling grass made Lexi whip her head to see that Eli was walking towards her, him wearing his violet hoodie and denim pants. He didn't say anything and sat down next to the girl, an uncomfortable silence filling the air. Luckily the birds chirping and the wind weaving through the grass, made it somewhat less awkward.

"I'm glad you came," Eli whispered barely above his breath, but Lexi understood him clearly, her being familiar with this specific tone of voice before he had the mohawk.

Lexi nodded softly in response, words not being able to escape her lips. She took in a deep breath before attempting to find the words she wanted to say to Eli.

"Why am I here, Eli?"

"I wanted to apologize." Lexi scoffed at his words but listened anyway. "That night, I shouldn't have let you walk away. What I said was so stupid of me to say and I swear to you, I didn't mean it. It was all out of anger and I regret every word. I've spent so many nights thinking about what I could've done to make it right again and I cry myself to sleep every night knowing you're not there with me anymore."

Lexi listened to Eli's words carefully and she knew it was all genuine. There was this void in Eli's life and Lexi was the only thing that can fill it. She wiped her tears off her cheeks in frustration and turned to Eli.

"You really hurt me, Eli. Those words you said, really made me feel terrible about myself."

"I know, princess and I'm so sorry I said those words. They weren't true and you have to believe me when I say that." Lexi's heart fluttered when Eli called her princess, missing that nickname dearly. She looked over to Eli to see his head hanging low, tears starting to stream down his cheeks.

"Y-You know, I thought about what our future would be like. Not like for the next week or whatever, but more like twenty years from now. I imagined my future with you in it. I imagined what our kids would look like, or how we would grow old together. It seems cheesy but honestly, I don't care."

Lexi stared at the boy in awe and she couldn't help but let her heart flutter inside her body. She always knew that Eli thought about their future together, but him saying it out loud made something click inside of her. Lexi sat closer to Eli and cupped his cheeks with her hands, her warm touch making Eli look up into her eyes.

Both teenagers were now both crying, their eyes starting to turn bloodshot red from the tears. Lexi's lips were quivering, so was Eli's and before they knew it, their lips met one another, their touch feeling like ecstasy in their bodies.

Lexi missed his touch, the way his lips roamed her body, how his hands caressed the small of her back, and the way he would hold her like it was the end of the world. The kiss became hungrier, both of them deprived of each other's taste and Eli picked up Lexi so she was now sitting on his lap.

Eli's hands explored under Lexi's shirt as she roamed her hands on his buzzed hair. Eli seemed to feel insecure at first, him pulling away from the kiss, but Lexi quickly reassured him by smiling and attaching her lips on his again.

Their lips never got tired and Lexi pushed Eli back onto the ground, so she was basically straddling his waist and he couldn't help but smirk proudly at Lexi's dominance. She leaned down and kissed him once more, until she was suddenly under Eli's body, now him hovering on top of her.

"Nuh-uh, you're not allowed to control me, princess. That's not how it works, I'm supposed to control you," Eli said in a low, seductive voice. Lexi groaned in annoyance and forcefully grabbed Eli's neck so they can reattach their lips once again.

But before any of them can get far with their sexual explorations, Eli pulled away from the kiss and stared into Lexi's eyes.

"This means we're back together, right?"

"I mean, it depends how good you are in the backseat of your car, birdy," Lexi whispered in Eli's ear, biting her lip lightly.

Eli's eyes widened with excitement and he had never run faster to his car in his life. He dragged Lexi with him by grabbing her hand and opening the car door, both Eli and Lexi soon showing each other how much they really missed their presence for one another.
