LEXI AND MIGUEL WERE STILL unconscious from the injuries of the fall. Miguel was in a coma, whereas Lexi woke up on and off for a while.

Johnny was getting drunk in a bar, feeling guilty over everything that has happened. Sam didn't have major injuries, just stitches on her arms.

The LaRusso's would visit Lexi, hoping one day she would fully become conscious. Luckily, that day came quickly.

Lexi gasped for air, her eyes wide scaring her family. Daniel shot up from his seat and went over to her side.

"Oh my god, Lexi, you're awake! How are you feeling honey?"

Lexi couldn't comprehend what was happening. One moment she was at school and now, she is in a hospital bed with a IV tube stuck in her left arm.

"Dad, what happened?"

"You don't remember?" Lexi looked a little confused but her eyes started to fill with tears, the memories flowing through her mind.

"I want Eli," Lexi said, choking on her tears. Her family was barely able to comprehend what she said.

"Honey, who's Eli?" Lexi ignored Amanda's question and her thoughts immediately went to one person.

Miguel.

"Wait, how is Miguel? Can I see him?"

"I'm sorry sis, he isn't awake. He's in a coma." Sam could barely tell her sister that Miguel was in a coma, her own sadness taking over her body.

Lexi held her head in sadness and shame, feeling guilty for Miguel being in a coma.

"Can you please call Johnny and tell him to come here?" Daniel sighed slightly before nodding his head to Lexi.

After Daniel contacted Johnny, he called Hawk that Lexi was awake. He was literally about to go to bed, but that's when he got the call from Johnny. He immediately grabbed his car keys and went 100 miles an hour over the freeway to see his girl.

Hawk ran into her hospital room, startling Lexi for a bit but a smile was quickly shown seeing him.

"Oh my god, Eli you scared me there for a second. Wow, I haven't seen you with your hair down in a long time. " Lexi smiled and Hawk smiled back. He engulfed her in a hug, but not a strong hug since he was cautious about her injuries.

"How are you feeling princess?"

"A little sore around my ribs, but I'm doing fine."

"That's good." There was a small pause. " You know when you fell over the railing, I thought you weren't going to make it. I was crying like a baby in front of everyone, but I didn't care. All I cared about was you."

Lexi was in awe of the boy. She never knew how much he still cared for her even when they were broken up.

"Wait, how am I awake before Miguel? I was the one who hit the pavement first?" Hawk looked at Lexi in confusion.

"What?"

"You don't know?" Lexi was really confused now about what Hawk was talking about.

"Um, no, what are you talking about?" Lexi's heart rate was starting to go higher.

"When the two of you were falling, you were about to hit the pavement first, but Miguel somehow pulled you on top of him in the air, making him hit the floor. Not you. " Hawk said, trying to make her understand what actually happened.

Lexi was confused and shocked that Miguel would do that.

"I mean you were still hurt from the impact, but Miguel took most of the damage." Hawk held his head down, reminiscing the memories from the school fight.

"So Miguel is in a coma because of me?" Lexi felt guilty, knowing Miguel may never wake up just because of a stupid school fight.

"No, no, no. This is not your fault Lexi. It was fucking Robby's fault." Lexi looked down, knowing how her brother must feel guilty. Hawk noticed her sadness and quickly changed the subject.

"Enough with the depressing crap, how about I get you some ice cream from the cafeteria." Lexi smiled as Hawk placed a kiss on her cheek.

As if on queue, right when Hawk left, Johnny came into her room.

"Johnny," Lexi said brightly, glad to see him there for her.

"Hey kiddo how are you?" Lexi looked at her cuts and stitches.

"Fantastic," Lexi sarcastically said which made Johnny laugh.

"I just want to go home," Lexi said, in a serious tone. Johnny frowned, not knowing when his daughter would actually be allowed to go home.

"Don't worry, it will be soon. I'm just glad you're awake now." Lexi smiled, counting all of the blessings she had in her life and one of the main ones is right in front of her.

"Thanks, Dad, I'm glad too." Johnny had to do a double-take of what Lexi said.

"D-D-Did you just call me 'dad'? Johnny tried to contain his smile because he was so happy Lexi finally considered him as a father.

"Yeah. You have always been there for me right when you found out I was your daughter. I couldn't be happier to have you as a part of my family and I thought it was the right time to call you dad from now on. "Johnny was smiling like a child on Christmas day.

"Love you, Lexi."

"Love you too, dad."

The pair sat in comfortable silence until Lexi remembered something.

"Hey, Eli was supposed to bring me back my ice cream." Lexi laughed and Johnny just looked at her confused.

"Who's Eli?" Lexi just shook her head and playfully slapped the back of Johnny's head.
