LEXI WAS WALKING THROUGH THE doors of Cobra Kai, turning her head to see her friends stretching on the mat.

"All right. But you gotta wear a costume. It's '80s night." Lexi walked to Tory and Miguel wondering what the pair was babbling about.

"Ooo, give me some tea, what are you guys talking about?" Lexi sat down with her friends, getting comfy with their presence.

"I was talking about how it's 80s night at my work tonight. Do you want to go, Lexi?"

She thought about it for a while, until smiling at her friends, nodding her head.

"Great! I'll give you the details later."  Hawk entered the dojo, a smirk appearing on his face when he made eye contact with Lexi. When Hawk turned away, Lexi returned the smirk.

Miguel got up from his seat and walked up to Hawk. "Hey, about Coyote Creek, are we cool?"

"We were enemies for a day, but Cobra Kai for life." Miguel and Hawk did their bro-shake and went their separate ways.

"Hey, I'll be back," Lexi said to Tory. She left her spot and sat next to Hawk, doing the stretches with him.  Hawk looked up, surprised that Lexi was there.

"Hey, what's up??" Hawk said, looking at Lexi nervously, wondering what she was going to say.

"So, about yesterday, what was that?" Hawk looked at her up and down, eyes tracing her body.

"I don't know, what do you think?" Lexi shivered at his raspy voice , knowing how much she loved it. Lexi scooted closer to him, closer to his face. Hawk even thought she was going to kiss him, but he thought wrong.

"It was definitely... something." With that, Lexi got up from her spot and turned around to go to her other friends while Hawk was looking a little lower at Lexi's body than he should've been.

"Eyes up here, not down there, birdy." Hawk jumped in his spot, his cheeks flushing red, knowing he was caught looking at her ass.

"Okay, the app is downloaded." Miguel and Lexi convinced Johnny to get on dating apps to find another possible lady for his life.

"What type of women are you looking to meet?" Johnny looked at Miguel with a 'really' look as if it should have been obvious.

"Super-hot babes. Dumb question. Okay, what are your likes?"

"My likes? What am I supposed to say? Long walks on the beach? I like muscle cars, martial arts, and Iron Eagle. Oh, and Iron Eagle 2." Miguel was just sitting there while Lexi was in the kitchen trying to find something to drink.

"Wait why are you not writing this down? Online dating was your idea. "

"Look, you have to take this seriously."

"Ugh it used to be so easy. Find a chick in a bar. Bump into her hard, but not too hard. Pretty hard. Then you buy her a beer." Miguel told Johnny no, wondering how oblivious this man was to the 21st-century .

"I don't think that's how it works.

"Tried and true, Diaz. "

"So, any progress yet?" Lexi opened her can of soda and plopped down on the sofa next to Johnny.

"No, your dad is still stuck in the 80s." Miguel sighed, frustrated with Johnny.

"Okay, to be fair, the 80s was amazing," Lexi argued.

Miguel gave her a playful look of disgust before walking to Johnny's closet, trying to look for clothes for the roller skating party.

"So, I was thinking of a buttoned-up shirt and some distressed jeans. Do you have any of those?"

"I have old jeans if that's what you're asking." Johnny started to see women on his phone and Lexi noticed his eyes light up.

" Hey, there's a chick on my app."

"Okay, just swipe right if you want to go on a date with her."

" This is dumb. You cant find anything out about a chick with-- ooh this one's hot." Lexi laughed at Johnny's mixed opinions for the app.

Lexi scooted closer to Johnny and saw how he was swiping right on every one.

"Woah, Johnny, you sure you want to go on a date with everyone?" Lexi questioned her father.

"Well, why not, they're all hot. "  Lexi mentally rolled her eyes and continued to look at his phone.

"Hey, can I borrow this jacket?" Miguel was staring at the most iconic jacket ever.

Lexi entered the roller rink, dressed up like Cyndi Lauper. She spotted Tory talking with two other people and started to walk up to her.

"Hey Tor- oh, hey guys." Lexi greeted her siblings who looked uncomfortable.

"Hey girl, sorry I just ran into some trash while skating here." Tory said, looking at Robby and Sam.

Lexi furrowed her eyebrows and was about to speak up until she was interrupted by Miguel.

"What time do you go on break? I wanted to time it out so the fries are extra crispy."

Tory gave him a look then he turned around to see Robby and Sam.

"Oh, um, hey I didn't recognize you. I dig the costumes. " There was an awkward silence.

Lexi's phone buzzed, making her grab it and looking at her messages. She cleared her throat to fill the awkward silence.

"Guys, I'm going to get some fresh air for a bit." They all nodded their head in sympathy, knowing she didn't want to be a part of all the drama.

When she went outside, the cold night hit her face, making Lexi feel refreshed. Lexi finally answered the text, not wanting to make that person worry.

My Son Demetri 👦 💕

Hey Lexi, are you busy, I need to talk to you asap.

Lexi responded back immediately saying how she was going to be there in 15 minutes. She didn't want to tell her friends and siblings that she was leaving or else they would make her stay.

But that's why she left. She felt like a 5th wheel and she wasn't having that much fun with the drama.

Fifteen minutes went by and Lexi arrived at Demetri's house, courtesy of Uber. If Hawk ever found out that she was at his house alone, he would literally kill Demetri.

Knocking on the door, Demetri answered right away, making Lexi jump a bit.

"Woah, hey Demetri, what's up? Why did you want me to come here?"

"Come on in." Demetri closed the door after she walked in and they made their way up to his room.

When Demetri closed the door to his room, Lexi spoke up. "So.... why did you want me here?"

"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill or dissect you or something, I just wanted to talk." Lexi nodded her head, indicating Demetri can proceed to talk.

"So I wanted to talk to you about Eli." Lexi shifted in her seat, wondering why Demetri would want to talk about him.

"Okay, what about him?"

"I know he has changed and all, and he has made many regrets however, I do know that you were not one of his regrets. You were one of his main blessings."

Lexi stood there shocked, wondering what he was going on about.

"Did you know, on the first day of school when you were walking towards our table, Eli was gushing to me about his first encounter with you? He literally wouldn't shut up about you and I was like, come on she can't be that perfect, but when you introduced yourself, I was like I know why Eli likes you now."

Lexi sat on his bed, barely processing all of this information.

" And when he turned himself to 'Hawk', you were the only person able to make him keep his side of Eli." Lexi didn't know what to say. She never knew this information and Demetri telling her this, made her tear up slightly.

"S-So what are you implying to me?" Lexi could barely mutter up words to say.

"All I'm saying is no matter how bad Eli acts, just remember he has been bullied all his life because of his lip, so go easy on him. Yes, he made a mistake, but I forgive him and you should too."

Lexi wiped her tears again and went up to Demetri, giving him a hug. "Thanks, bestie, I really needed to hear that. You forgave him and I guess I should too."

"No problem and besides, I just bought all of the Harry Potter movies and I have no one to watch it with, so maybe if you wanna sorta stay for a while-"

"YES, I would love to watch them."

"Great! I'll go make popcorn now. Do you want hot cocoa too or-- nevermind, I'll make it anyways." He ran out of his room and went downstairs to the kitchen.

Lexi laughed at Demetri's ramble and plopped her back on his bed. He made her see things differently which she was grateful for. She decided to talk to Hawk at the party tomorrow and forgive him.

But what's going to happen when Hawk finds out that Lexi hung out with Demetri though?
