LEXI WAS STANDING ON THE SIDELINES, eating a bag of Chex Mix while her friends were mixing cement.

John Kreese was also there with the Cobra Kai team, standing there judging the nerdy kids.

Lexi did not have a good feeling about Kreese either. Daniel told her stories about him and when he walked through the doors of Cobra Kai, she knew not to trust him from the start.

"Sensei, why are we mixing cement?" Miguel had sweat stains on his hoodie, tired from the work and waking up at 5 am.

"No questions. Keep stirring." Johnny walked around, inspecting the other kids. Lexi stood up from her seat and decided to talk to her friends.

"How you guys holding up?" Lexi had a smirk on her face, knowing their answer was obviously going to be negative.

Hawk and Miguel gave her a 'seriously' look and proceeded to mix the cement.

Walking away, Lexi walked towards Johnny and Kreese. She tried to ignore Kreese as much as possible, but he wouldn't stop asking questions.

"How come you're not out there with the rest of the kids?" Lexi stared at Kreese then rolled her eyes before speaking up.

"I'm not a part of Cobra Kai technically."

Johnny stood there between the two, feeling a little anxious that Lexi was talking to Kreese.

"Lexi is just here to be my assistant in a way. She's already amazing when it comes to karate." Johnny spoke for Lexi.

"Oh, really?" Kreese had a smirk on his face and stood in front of Lexi.

"You should join then, we need strong recruits like you."

"I'm pretty sure her father wouldn't want anything to do with us." Johnny kept defending Lexi.

"Who's your father?" Lexi got tired of all the questions that she was bombarded with

"Daniel LaRusso." Lexi can see Kreese widen his eyes for a bit before hiding it.

"Ah, I see."

That was all Kreese said before walking away to check on how the kids were doing.

"How long is he going to be here for," Lexi asked Johnny in a whiny, complaining voice.

"I don't know, a while, for sure."

Lexi groaned in annoyance, knowing she is going to have to deal with Kreese's bullshit for a while.

Lexi had her nap abruptly interrupted when she heard the loud sounds of a cement truck and cheering.

She got up from her chair and walked up to Johnny.

"Um, Johnny, what is this?"

"I'm putting them in there, and they're rotating it." Johnny had a proud smile on his face which made Lexi smile. She hasn't seen Johnny this happy in a while.

"Whhoooooo." Lexi was cheering for her friends.

They got out of the truck, covered in cement. Hawk jumped down to the floor and scanned the area to find his girlfriend.

When he spotted her, his eyes lit up. He ran to her and grabbed her waist from behind, making her jump.

"Hey princess." Hawk was hugging Lexi while he was still covered in cement.

"Ew, Eli, you're still covered in cement. Get off of me please." Lexi tried  to squirm her way out of Hawk's grip, but he wouldn't budge. He was just too strong.

"Miguel, can you help me here!" Lexi yelled at her best friend for help, hoping he would release Hawk's grip for her.

Miguel rolled his eyes playfully, then walked over to Lexi and Hawk. He grabbed Hawk's arms and pulled them off Lexi.

Hawk gave a dramatic pouty face then kissed Lexi's cheek before walking off to get cleaned off.

"Dad, are you sure it's a good idea to let Robby live with us?" Daniel and Lexi were at Robby's house to invite him to live with them.

"Yeah, I'm sure. it's the right thing to do."
Daniel knocked on Robby's door. Robby opened it with a surprised face to see the LaRusso's.

"Hey, Robby?"

"Hey." Robby closed the door so he can unlock it. He opened it to reveal a dark house that seemed messy too.

"Mr. LaRusso, Lexi, what are you guys doing here?"

"Well, I could lie and say we were in the neighborhood. Is your mom home?"

Robby looked like his heart dropped when Daniel mentioned his mother.  Lexi noticed and immediately pulled Robby into a hug.

When she pulled away, Daniel spoke up. "Hey, listen, it's alright."

"Yeah, we're going to kidnap you and take you to our house." Lexi joked with Robby, making him laugh.

"I don't think it's kidnapping if I know where you're taking me."

"Come on."

"Oh, come on, you can't tell me that wasn't badass. I mean, walking and turning a cement truck is pretty awesome." Miguel was walking with Lexi to his apartment, also trying to convince her that the events from earlier were impressive.

"I guess it was, but only because you guys came out covered in cement."

The two best friends laughed and started to walk over to Johnny's apartment.

"Sensei, are you home?" Miguel opened Johnny's door with his spare key.

"My mom doesn't want you to eat Slim Jims for breakfast anymore." Lexi snickered at what Miguel said, but he turned to her with a serious look on his face.

"Oh, you're serious? Does Johnny really eat Slim Jims for breakfast?"

"Yeah, but it's also probably with beer."

Lexi sat on Johnny's couch while Miguel put the food in the fridge.

Miguel closed the fridge and was about to walk away until he noticed a picture on it.

It was a kid with a soccer uniform back in 2010.

"Robby Keene?"

When Miguel said his name, Lexi perked her head up and started to walk towards the kitchen.

"Woah, is that Robby?"

"Yeah it must be, but why would Sensei have a picture of him?"

Miguel and Lexi stared at each other, both thinking the same thing.

"Johnny has a son-" Lexi got interrupted by Miguel.

"-And it's Robby Keene."

It was 11 pm and Lexi was contemplating whether or not she should talk to Robby about the situation.

After a while,  Lexi got up from her bed and went to Robby's room. She knocked on his door until he opened it.

"Hey, Lex, what's up? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, um, can I talk to you about something?"

Robby nodded his head and stood aside so Lexi can walk into his room.

"So I went to Johnny's house."

Robby looked at Lexi, wondering why she is talking to him about this.

"Who's Johnny?" Lexi knew Robby was trying to play dumb, but that wouldn't work on her.

"Cut the crap." Lexi raised her voice.

"Robby, tell me the truth. Is Johnny your father?"

Robby sighed in defeat. "Your dad didn't tell you?"

"No, and I'm glad he didn't because it wasn't his place to tell me and I respect that."

Robby held down his head and nodded. "Yeah, Johnny is my dad."

"I'll tell you everything tomorrow, we can get coffee at that one shop next to the dojo, but for now we should get some sleep, Lexi."

Lexi nodded and was about to leave Robby's room until she faced him again.

"I'm glad you told me, Robby. I'll be looking forward to tomorrow's conversation."

A chuckle came out of Robby's mouth. "Goodnight, Lexi."

"Goodnight, Robby."
