LEXI STOOD NERVOUSLY WITH HER family when they entered the gymnasium, still shaken up from the events that happened the night before.

From the altercation with Miguel, Robby, Hawk, and the unknown number, Lexi's mind was not in the right place now.  And the only thing that can take her mind off of it was karate.

Daniel was busy greeting members of the council team and with that time, Lexi decided to walk over to where Cobra Kai was.

"Hey, princess," Hawk said then kissed his girlfriend.

"Hey, babe." Lexi smiled and turned her attention to Miguel who was eying her sympathetically.

"Look, Lexi, I'm so sorry about yesterday, I was drunk and mad. I shouldn't have taken it out on you or said those words. "

Lexi looked at Miguel for a bit then hugged him after. "Don't worry Miguel, no hard feelings."

Miguel hugged back immediately and saw Hawk glaring at him when he hugged Lexi.

He let go quickly. "Love you bestie."

"Love you too bestie."

Lexi contemplated speaking up to her friends again not knowing how to say what she was going to say next. "Guys, I think I want to compete in the tournament today."

Her friends looked at her with excited looks on their faces.

"Oh, my god, yes you should Lexi, it would be great since you've already been training with Sensei for a while and I'm sure he woul-"

Lexi cut off Miguel, about to answer him with something he didn't want to hear.

"I'm not joining Cobra Kai."

Everyone's face dropped and was confused why Lexi wouldn't join their team.

"Why not?" Hawk asked his girlfriend confused, considering she was basically a part of the team.

"My dad is here and I don't want to disappoint him. Also, if he finds out I've joined Cobra Kai, he will literally lose his shit."

Lexi's friends nodded, agreeing with her protest,knowing how Daniel is.

"Okay guys, I'm going to sign up now. Aisha, if you see my dad, tell him you didn't see me."

"How come you can't just tell him you're competing?" Lexi looked at her Aisha with a 'seriously?' face and explained to her how her dad would basically drag her home if she thought about competing.

That's why she's not going to tell him. She's going to do it behind Daniel's back.

"Welcome, everyone, to the 50th annual All-Valley Under-18 Karate Championship!"

"All right, let's start by welcoming all the local dojos competing today."

"From Granada Hills, All-Star Karate!" The crowd started to cheer for the karate team.

"Fighting out of Topanga, we have Topanga Karate!"

"Yeah!!!! Whoo-hoo! You kick some ass, Xander! Whoo!

Lexi chuckled a little bit hearing the supportive mother from Topanga karate.  Hearing a sound from behind , Lexi turned and saw Robby there.

"Woah, oh my gosh Robby, you scared the shit out of me," Lexi said releasing a nervous laugh.

"Sorry, Lexi I didn't mean to." Robby had his signature smirk on his face, which made Lexi smile too since it was so contagious.

"So you're competing too I see." Lexi looked at Robby up and down respectfully, noticing his gi.

"I see you're competing also. How were you able to convince your dad?"

Lexi clicked her tongue before answering. "Well you see, he actually doesn't know I'm competing." Robby silently shook his head, knowing how Daniel is.  then proceeded to watch the announcer say the names of the karate dojos.

"From Reseda, returning to the tournament, we have..."

The announcer got cut off by the loud chanting of the teens saying 'Cobra Kai'.

"Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Hiya!"

"Now that's what I call an entrance! And a badass name for a dojo. Let's hear it for Cobra Kai!"

Lexi cheered for Cobra Kai and Robby just stood there with no emotions on his face.

Lexi noticed how tense he was and she snapped her fingers to get him out of the trance. "Hey, you okay Robby?"

"Yeah." Robby wasn't okay though.  When he saw Miguel, anger flowed in his veins, knowing what they did to Lexi and Sam.

"Fighting unaffiliated from North Hills, we have Mr. Robby Keene."

"Yes! Go, Robby!" Lexi yelled as Robby gave her a smile before running out to the mats.

"And finally, from Encino Hills, also unaffiliated, We have Elexcia LaRusso!"

Lexi ran out to the mats and stood next to Robby while giving him a high-five.

She turned around and saw her fellow Cobra Kai friends cheer for her.

"Wait wait wait wait wait, Lexi is competing?!" Daniel asked with an angry tone. Sam and Amanda just shrugged their shoulders, not knowing Lexi was competing either.

"Woo! Yes, Lexi! That's my girlfriend right there!" When Hawk said that he immediately regretted it because Daniel shot his head towards the mat, wondering who said that.

"Hawk, dude don't get her in trouble," Miguel said while playfully hitting Hawk's chest.

Eventually, the matches started to begin.

Miguel was one of the first ones to fight and went up to the mat, competing with a kid from All-Star karate

Lexi heard Johnny whisper something into Miguel's ear. Miguel nodded and  got into the crane kick stance.  Lexi's eyes widened, knowing that was the same movie her dad used on Johnny.

Miguel swiftly kicked his opponent in the face and his team cheered him on. Along with Lexi too.

"Yeah! Go, Miguel!"

Daniel kept looking at his daughter wondering why she would cheer on opponents from Cobra Kai.

It was Robby's turn to compete now. He got a few good kicks in and easily defeated his opponent quickly.

"Yes go, Robby," Lexi clapped her hands for the boy.

She turned to her friends and noticed Hawk glaring at Robby intently while Miguel looked like he wanted to punch him.

After a few rounds, it was finally Lexi's turn to compete. The boy she had to compete with smirked at her, thinking this was going to be an easy fight just because she was a girl. 

Oh, how wrong he was.

After the ref blew the whistle, Lexi immediately kicked him on the side, catching him off guard.

"Oh, bitch you did not just kick me there." The boy swept Lexi off her feet, making her fall to the ground, hitting her back.

"Come on honey, you got this!" Daniel cheered on his daughter, even if she went behind his back to do this tournament. Lexi smiled at her dad before turning around to face her opponent.

Hawk was so close to going on the mat and beat the boy who hurt his girlfriend, but Miguel held him back.

Lexi won the last two rounds with all of the stress and anger she had inside. "Go, Lexi! Yes, babe!" Lexi heard the voices from her Cobra Kai friends

She turned around and smiled at them, but as she did, Hawk was quick on his feet to give her a quick peck on the lips.

"You did amazing, princess." Hawk discretely slapped Lexi's ass, which earned a glare from her.

Hopefully, Daniel didn't see that, Lexi thought to herself.

"Now we have Hawk from Cobra Kai and Elexcia LaRusso next to compete against each other!"

Lexi looked at Hawk while getting on the mat, excited that she is able to go against her boyfriend, but little did she know, Hawk was afraid of hurting her.

"Don't worry, sweetheart, I'll go easy on you," Hawk said smirking at his girlfriend. 

"Oh please, babe, I don't need you to go easy on me. Just do what we do at practice." Lexi gave Hawk a wink who smirked at her after,reminiscing on what they do during practice.

"Face me, bow. Face each other, bow. Ready? And fight!"

The two hesitated at first before Hawk struck first.

He tried to hit Lexi in the rib until she blocked it with her hands.

The couple hesitated once more until Lexi kicked Hawk's thigh, earning her a point.

"Point. LaRusso!"

"Babe, stop pulling your punches." Lexi said to  her boyfriend, knowing he was trying to go easy on her.

"Ready? And fight!"

This time, Hawk didn't go easy on her and he quickly earned a point by catching Lexi off guard then punching her in the stomach.

"Bet you didn't see that coming." Hawk stuck out his hand for Lexi to take and she grabbed it with a smile spread wide on her face.

"So, I guess we're quoting marvel now, huh?" Lexi couldn't help but laugh at how much she and Hawk were talking especially during a match.

Hawk winked at his girlfriend before getting back into a karate stance.

"Ready? And fight!"

This time Lexi was the first to attack and Hawk dogged her punch. The two kept blocking each other's punches until Hawk hit Lexi one final time in the rib, making him win that match.

"Winner!"

Hawk helped his girlfriend up then wrapped his hands around her waist in front of everybody.

Lexi's cheek's flushed red knowing her family was seeing this too.

"You did great babe, I'm so proud of you, even though I beat you."

"Yeah, yeah, you did okay I guess."

Hawk smiled then pulled her in for a kiss. The crowd was in awe while Daniel sat there in shock, glaring at Hawk. Sam was screaming with happiness knowing her sister is finally getting some action and Amanda was smiling at her daughter.

"I love you, Lexi."

"I love you too, Eli. "
