LEXI, ELI, DEMETRI, AND MIGUEL WERE SITTING at their table not paying attention to Demetri's blabbering about how hot Cheetos are a risk for heartburns.

"I'm telling you if you eat that many hot Cheetos in a day, there's a possibility that it can give you heartburn," Demetri said trying to convince his friends to stop eating hot Cheetos.

Lexi was about to say something but took her attention away from her friends and to her sister, who was about to confront Kyler.

"Oh no, no no no no," Lexi said as she started to get up."

Lexi felt a hand grip her wrist gently." Lex, where are you going," Eli said to the girl.

" I need to put this asshole in his place." Lexi got out of his grip then started to walk towards her sister. Lexi couldn't see behind her, but little did she know, Eli had a worried expression and a slightly jealous one as well.

"You think it's funny to spread lies about me?"

Lexi stood next to her sister, putting a hand on her shoulder to assure her that her she has her back.

"What are you talking about? We saw a movie and that's it. Well, maybe I saw a little bit more than you," Kyler said while his friends were laughing behind him.

Seconds later, Lexi did not hesitate to pounce at the annoying child, but Sam held her back.

Lexi may seem like a sweet girl a majority of times, however, she can always shed that skin and reveal her temper.

"Hey guys, you know that billboard with that big ass dick on it? Yeah, well I guess Sam takes after her dad."

The cafeteria started to "oooo" and Sam was about to get into her karate stance, but that was interrupted by Miguel.

"Hey, Kyler! Why don't you shut the hell up and stop being an asshole?"

Miguel and Kyler started to get closer to each other's faces which made Lexi's anxiety spike a bit.

"You want another beat down, Rhea'?"

Kyler then pushed Miguel into Aisha, who was right behind him, stood up.

"I'm ready for your lame ass karate this time," Kyler said while laughing, not knowing what Miguel had in store for him.

"It's not lame-ass karate, it's Cobra Kai."

With that, Miguel punched Kyler in the face, making him wince in pain.

Lexi took this as an opportunity to get back at those annoying kids.

She started to throw punches at Brucks and successfully had the satisfaction of hearing his jaw crack.

Kyler picked up Miguel then threw him from table to table, thinking he had the upper hand.

He tried to punch back, but Miguel kept blocking his punches.

The fight went on for a couple of minutes until Miguel grabbed a lunch tray, then slammed it on Kyler's face.

Everyone started to cheer on Miguel then Lexi turned to her sister to see her looking at him in awe.

She smirked to herself, feeling the possible connection between the two.

"Hey, get down from there right now," counselor Blatt said.

Lexi was proud of her best friend and was also happy to see her sister with that smile. She hasn't seen her smile like that in a while.

Lexi turned to see Eli and Demerti standing their with their phones, recording the entire fight.

Eli had a proud smile on his face while staring intently into the eyes of Lexi.

Lexi was on her bed with her MacBook lighting up with the screen of Eli on it.

"The fight today was epic. You fought amazing Lexi," Eli said to her with a huge smile on his face.

Lexi smiled at him and tried to hide her blush.

"But I have to admit, when Brucks hit you, I almost lost it and went up there myself to teach him a lesson. "

"Oh stop, Eli, I can take care of myself, but that's so sweet and cute," Lexi said with a laugh.

Eli was about to speak up again, but that was interrupted by Daniel knocking on Lexi's door.

"Oh, I got to go Eli, remember what I told you about karate for tomorrow."

"I know, I know, don't worry, I'll be there... just for you."

Lexi said bye to Eli then closed her laptop, while her dad came in her room.

"Hey honey, I heard what happened at school, are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm doing fine, I beat that kids ass and I was able to protect myself which was good."

"That's good baby, but remember that you use karate only for self defense and not offense."

Lexi rolled her eyes, hearing that phrase for the last 14 years of her life." I know dad, to be fair, he struck at me first. I just gave him a taste of is own medicine."

"Okay that's good honey." Daniel was about to get up and leave out the door, but he stopped right as we was going to close it.

"Who were you chatting with before I walked in," Daniel asked curiously.

Lexi tried not to make eye contact with Daniel, so she tried to pretend she was busy, looking at her phone.

"Oh, it's nobody, dad. Just a parter for lab."

"Well he didn't sound like a lab par-"

Lexi got up from her bed and pushed her father out the door before he can interogate her more.

"Okay, dad I got to go to sleep now,byeloveyougoodnight," Lexi said in a hurry, closing the door quickly.

"Phew, that was a close one."
