A year later...
“You have reached your destination. We hope you had a wonderful time on board with us. Do travel with us again…” The captain’s voice crackled over the speakers as the plane came to a halt.
For Jimin and Jungkook, returning to air travel after everything they'd been through was no small feat. The memories of that traumatic day lingered, but months of therapy had helped them heal. They had made progress—slowly but surely—and now, a year later, they were back to being the adventurous couple they’d always been, exploring the world together. They deplaned, their hands were intertwined.
The incident had taught them a lot: life was fragile, and every moment together was precious. They were determined to make the most of their time, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
“You booked the room with the master bed, didn’t you?” Jungkook asked as they made their way to the baggage carousel.
“You know I did,” Jimin replied with a sly grin.
Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head. “I don’t even know why I bothered asking.”
“Yeah, I don’t know either,” Jimin teased, earning a playful swat on the arm from Jungkook.
As they reached the luggage counter, Jimin leaned in close, his voice dropping to a seductive whisper. “I want to make love to you tonight.”
Jungkook laughed, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “You do that every night, Jimin.”
“Wow, way to ruin the moment, mister.” Jimin pouted, crossing his arms dramatically.
“How could I take you seriously when you had to stand on your toes just to whisper that in my ear?” Jungkook teased, ruffling Jimin’s hair.
“Are you making fun of my height?” Jimin huffed, unloading their luggage from the conveyor belt onto a trolley.
“Maybe I am,” Jungkook grinned, enjoying the banter.
“Yah! You meanie!” Jimin cried out in mock indignation.
“Should we go hire a cab now?”
“No,” Jimin replied with mock seriousness. “Let’s first make love in the restroom and then do it.”
Jungkook stared at him in disbelief. “What the heck?”
“That was sarcasm, my man,” Jimin said, rolling his eyes. “You really need some immediate life lessons on it. And yes, of course, we hire a cab now. I want to get to the hotel. The master bed awaits.”
“Oh my gosh, you horny fucker,” Jungkook laughed, shaking his head.
“Don’t pretend to be all innocent. Your sex drive is way worse than mine. Might I remind you of the time you woke up at 3 a.m. with a boner and—” Jimin’s words were muffled as Jungkook slapped a hand over his mouth, his eyes wide with embarrassment.
“Why are you so loud?!” Jungkook hissed, looking around nervously.
“I thought you liked me being loud,” Jimin mumbled against his hand.
“Yeah, but in bed! Not in an airport, announcing our sex life to strangers,” Jungkook mumbled, his cheeks flushed.
“Right, okay,” Jimin said, lowering his voice as they reached the prepaid taxi counter.
As Jungkook paid for the cab, Jimin suddenly shouted, “Let’s go have sex!”
Jungkook’s eyes widened in horror as he quickly apologized to the stunned clerk behind the counter, grabbing the ticket and shoving Jimin toward the exit. “You are crazy!” he whispered, exasperated.
“And you love me,” Jimin sang, his voice light and teasing.
Jungkook sighed, his exasperation melting into a fond smile. “That… that I do.”
Jimin giggled, bouncing with each step, his joy infectious. Jungkook couldn’t help but smile. They were doing great—better than great.
The end!
