Author's pov:
The Savory aroma of freshly made Kimchi fried rice and ramyeon wafted through the air, filling the kitchen with a spicy environment. Jimin placed the food and water on a tray and held it up as he made it out of the kitchen and strode upstairs to Taehyung's room. He was eager to see the happiness on the younger's face as he made his favorite dishes.
The pleasant smell danced its way into Taehyung's room and towards him, who was laying on his bed with a frown, his eyebrows creased as he took in the smell.
‘Kimchi fried rice and Ramyeon!’
He slowly sat up and breathed in more with a smile on his face, making his stomach grumble and remind himself how hungry he was.
But then he wondered, ‘Mom isn't home, then who cooked them?’
And to answer his question, the door opened and Jimin entered with the food with a broad smile decorating his face. Taehyung's eyes gleamed at the man in front of him but it soon vanished as he remembered the earlier moments. He looked away, Jimin sighed and approached the bed.
He placed the tray on top of the bed sheet and went to grab the small table from a corner, he came back and set it up on the bed and placed the tray on it.
“Tae?” He called softly but the other didn't budge, making him sigh. He watched Taehyung shifting on his spot so that he was back facing him.
“Taehyung…” He whined and kept calling his names numerous times unaware that it was making the younger blush and smile profusely. He loved it when Jimin would call him like that, it made him feel wanted.
“Alright, I'm gonna eat this alone. Don't cry later, I have already called you enough.” Jimin uttered indifferently as he picked up the spoon and his bowl of fried rice, he took a mouthful of fried rice and moaned at the delightful taste.
Taehyung was sulking, he hated his nose for being able to smell the delicious food, in addition to that, he hated Jimin a lot for making him hungrier. He fiddled with his thumbs trying to suppress the urge to give up his anger but failed as he heard Jimin slurping the noodles.
He turned around instantly with his mouth agape, how could Jimin eat without him? He was surprised. He snorted as he gave up and grabbed his food and a spoon, glaring at the older man, he dug in.
Jimin smiled widely, “Is it good?” he asked.
Taehyung hummed with his mouth full and once he gulped it all down, he replied, “I'm eating because I'm hungry not because you asked me to.” This made him chuckle softly.
He stared at him lovingly, he was cute, he saw no flaws in him. He smiled unknowingly but the hurt that flashed in his eyes when he saw them together made his heart ache, he didn't know why Taehyung had ignored them back there. There was no reason to, in his opinion but he was hesitant to ask although he desperately wanted to know.
“Tae, why did you ignore me in the mall?” Before he even knew it, he found himself asking and he bit his lips when he saw Taehyung halt his action and sigh looking down at his food.
“Why not? I didn't want to disturb your precious time. Mia looked like she was on cloud nine.” He answered, going back to enjoying his food. He made sure to enjoy the food even if he didn't like the topic of the conversation.
Jimin frowned, “But still, don't I mean anything to you? As a friend, you could have at least greeted us, right? I would have introduced you to Mia. She has met everyone except you.” he said. Taehyung didn't know why but he felt a pang in his chest when the older referred to him as a friend.
He stayed quiet and the quietness was irking Jimin to the core, he wanted him to speak to him, he wanted him to rant about his hectic days, laugh at his own jokes and most importantly show off his pretty smile. Jimin missed him. He had missed him a lot these days.
“Taehyung, talk to me. What are you angry about? Ever since you have seen me with her, you are just upset. I don't remember doing anything that would make you upset today–”
Taehyung finished off his fried rice and immediately interrupted him, “Really?”
Jimin blinked with creased eyebrows as he stared at the guy beside him, “What?”
Taehyung put down his plate on the tray and turned his entire attention to him, “Do you really not know what made me upset? Why don't I really want to talk to you right now?” Jimin thought for a while before shaking his head slowly.
He clenched his teeth, he wanted to kick him out of his room and never meet him again, but he knew he could never do that, his heart would never let him. He sighed, “Remember when I called you earlier?” He received a nod from the older and continued, “You refused when I asked you to hang out with me, with an excuse that you had something to take care of. But then I saw you with Mia, do you know how I felt?” he gulped, holding back a sob.
Jimin finally understood what was the matter as he shut his eyes and cursed himself under his breath. He heard Taehyung saying, “You…You could have said you already had plans, then maybe, maybe I wouldn't have been sad.”
Jimin opened his mouth to reply to him but he didn't let him as he added, “Do you know how much I missed you? Everyday, everyday I would think about the places we would go, the food we would eat. I just wanted to be with you, Jimin.” He muttered, trying his best to lock his tears but he failed as it rolled down his right eye.
Jimin shook his head and quickly engulfed him in a hug and let him cry in his arms, he wanted to tell him that he missed him too, that he wanted to hug him like this, ruffle his smooth hair and take a sniff of his calming scent. But he was bad at expressing his feelings or he simply didn't want to tell him.
“I'm sorry.” He mumbled as he rubbed his back to calm him down, he could hear him sniffling a lot and it broke his heart. It was not really a big deal, but he realized that small things mattered to him.
The silence was back as Jimin and Taehyung sat beside each other while they ate the ramyeon, none of them spoke. Their focus was on the food but their minds were wandering around each other. Taehyung was embarrassed that he cried like a baby over a small thing whilst Jimin was brainstorming on how to strike a conversation that would push away the stupid awkwardness.
Well to their luck, Yumin was here to help them escape this awkward hole. Upon hearing the doorbell, Taehyung placed his empty bowl and chopsticks down as he ran downstairs to get the door. Jimin heaved out a sigh of relief holding his chest and gathered up the plates and bowls in the tray as he too headed out to the kitchen. He mentally thanked his best friend for coming at the right time.

“The food was amazing! Thank you, Jimin. You are the best! Delicious food after a long day is relaxing.” Yumin exclaimed happily as she chugged down the glass of water, Jimin chuckled, nodding at her.
“I know, you are most welcome.”
Taehyung, who was washing the dishes, turned his head to look at them, “Noona, do you know what's more relaxing?” he asked, hiding the blush on his cheeks.
“What?” She twitched her eyebrow at him.
“A warm shower and a good sleep.” He replied, smiling slightly at her as she now stood behind him and handed him the glass to wash.
“You are right!” She agreed and turned her gaze towards her friend, “Jimin, are you going back home or…?” she asked.
“Oh, I'm gonna he–”
“He is sleeping over.” Taehyung cut him off quickly whilst trying to avoid the questioning eyes of Jimin on him.
Yumin smiled, “That's great! I will see you tomorrow then.” She said to him and headed out of the kitchen, “Good night, guys!” Jimin waved at her and then looked at Taehyung who swiftly went back to wash the glass.
Jimin chuckled softly as he approached him with slow steps, a sexy devilish grin plastered on his face. Taehyung was embarrassed to face him, especially after trying to ignore him and the next moment crying in his arms. It was very awkward. But whatever it was, he couldn't stay without talking to him. It would be a lie if he said he didn't feel better being hugged by him. He wanted to be with him again, for a longer time.
He finally placed the glass on the shelf and dried his hands as he turned around and met those dark mischievous eyes, “W-What?”
“So, where am I sleeping tonight?” Jimin smirked, cocking an eyebrow at him.
Taehyung's eyes dilated and a blush appeared on his cheeks, he hadn't thought about that, he bit his lips holding back a shy smile. Jimin's smirk grew wider looking at his red face, it matched his hair color making him look like a cute tomato.

Park Jimin found himself laying on the bed, staring up at the fan that rotated speedily, his half body covered under the duvet. He sighed softly as he craned his head to his left, Taehyung was lying beside him, his eyes shut tightly pretending to be asleep when actually he just didn't know what else to do. He had bravely offered to sleep on the same bed as him but now he was nervous.
“Taehyung?” Jimin called gently but saw him flinch and open his eyes as if some ghost had whispered his name.
“Y-Yes?”
“Are you still mad about earlier?” he asked, gulping. For some reason, he was scared.
“No!” Taehyung yelled, snapping his head at him, making the older jump. He then cleared his throat and added in a mumble, “I'm not mad.”
That brought a small pretty smile on Jimin's face and he proceeded to explain to him what had happened, “Come here.” he opened his arms for him and the younger shyly scooted closer to him, his face and ears flushed as Jimin wrapped his arms around him, hugging him close.
“Actually, when you called I was on my way to Kai hyung's office. He had called me to meet up urgently so I had to refuse you. And when I was with him, grandma texted me, asking me to accompany Mia for shopping. And you know, I can't say no to her.” He sighed at the end, playing with the red hair.
Taehyung looked up at him, “I'm sorry, I overreacted without knowing anything.” he muttered with a pout.
Jimin shook his head chuckling, “No, don't be. It's fine.” he said, caressing his cheeks.
Taehyung gulped as he realized how close their faces were, and even in the dark room, his face shone like Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. His breath hitched as Jimin slowly closed the gap between them, his eyes filled with lust was focused on his parted lips, he was ready to devour them. Taehyung's heart raced at the thought of them kissing again, after so long. But to his dismay, Jimin stopped and looked away.
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows immediately, worried if he had done something wrong or if he remembered that he was a bad kisser so it was a waste kissing him, but then again, if that was the reason, Jimin would have refrained from kissing him long back.
“W-What's wrong?” He stammered, grabbing his attention.
“Nothing.”
“Then kiss me.” He blurted out but he didn't regret it, he wanted to feel those lips very badly.
Jimin laughed, “But you hate me, don’t you?” He said, pushing a strand to the back of Taehyung’s right ear who looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.
“What? Who said that? I don't hate you!” Taehyung exclaimed, fisting the older's shirt in anger.
“Yumin. She said that when I was here for dinner that day.” He answered, shrugging.
He rolled his eyes and snorted, “T-That was before I met you!” He defended himself ignoring the smirk that was growing wide.
“Then how did you feel after meeting me?” Jimin asked, winking at him bringing back the red hue to his face. Gosh, he could just never get enough of his blushing face.
Taehyung fumbled with the words, licking his lips and looking all around the room thinking of an answer, but he found none. He groaned, “Just kiss me already!”
And that was more than enough to wake the hungry wolf inside Jimin as he smashed his lips onto his, his hands sliding inside Taehyung's t-shirt and roaming around the body as if trying to print the softness of his skin in his mind so that whenever he touches something soft, he remembers his body.
Taehyung started sweating at the sudden hotness in his room, he was kissing the older back as if his life depended on it, as if it was his last kiss. He pressed his body against his, slowly reaching out his hand to play with Jimin's hair. They passionately made out until Jimin parted away, both of them breathing heavily with their eyes locked on each other.
“I missed you, Tae.” Jimin breathed out, smiling down at him.
He smiled back and whispered, “I missed you too.”
Jimin nuzzled his nose into his neck, sighing and then kissing the bare skin tenderly. Taehyung shuddered, he wanted to moan but he was too shy but what made him knit his eyebrows was that hard feeling kicking his pants, he slowly looked down and found a bump. His eyes widened and his mind reached all those spicy scenes in movies and books that he had read.
‘Shit! A boner.’
He bit his lips to hold back a moan when Jimin's thigh slightly touched his painful dick.
‘I can't let him see this.’
He decided firmly and squirmed in his arms whilst shyly calling him, “Hyung…”
“What is it, cutie?” Jimin questioned, pulling away and pecking the tip of his nose.
“Can we sleep? I'm tired…” He uttered, avoiding his luscious gaze. Jimin stared at him for a moment and then nodded, he pecked his lips one last time and pulled the duvet close to them.
“Good night,” he whispered, hugging the younger’s body. Taehyung smiled and snuggled against his chest while sighing in relief while Jimin stroked his hair.
‘Mission: Convince cutie accomplished.’
