Author's pov:

Next day at Kim's Bungalow-

"I was so proud of myself and Tae for knowing the basics of English." Mrs. Kim said, looking at her fried chicken and added, "Otherwise, we would have felt like an outcast there." She was talking about her experience in London to Jimin, who had finally given in to her insistence of having dinner with them.

"But momma embarrassed herself in the market once." Taehyung said, stifling a laugh as he placed the clean bone on a small plate and went to grab another piece of fried chicken from the basket. Mrs. Kim's face grew a light shade of pink as she slapped her own forehead gently.

"Tell me about it." Jimin uttered, moving closer to the guy, very much interested in knowing the embarrassing moment of his aunt. Yumin arched an eyebrow at the way Taehyung's ears grew red at the closeness while she put a tteokbokki into her mouth using her chopsticks.

Taehyung cleared his throat and tore his gaze away from Jimin, "It was the weekend and we were out to buy some stuff for home. Momma was bargaining with a greengrocer, he was not at all convinced and refused to give her a discount, she got furious and started scolding him in Korean."

They blurted out laughing and Mrs. Kim joined them as she recalled those embarrassing moments. She poured water into a glass and passed it over to Jimin, who choked on his noodles and began coughing.

"You should have seen that man's reaction, he looked utterly dumbfounded. She had grabbed everybody's attention." Yumin cackled up and added, "And and, two other ladies approached Mumma and asked her to teach them how to curse in Korean."

Jimin drank the water and wiped off the small tear that escaped his eye and then looked at his aunt, "Wow, that's embarrassing. Imagine everyone looking at you as if they have seen a ghost." He imagined it and started laughing again, his face becoming pink in the process.

Mrs. Kim sighed, "I don't know when I changed from English to Korean, I was just so frustrated at that moment." She huffed with her eyebrows meeting each other while they chuckled among themselves.

"I miss London." Taehyung mumbled, a small pout lingering on his lips as he dipped the chicken into the tomato ketchup. Jimin bit his lower lip, he couldn't stand his cutie having a sad pout on his beautiful face. He gently rubbed his back to comfort him.

Mrs. Kim gulped as she looked down at her plate that had chicken crumbs on it and murmured, "I miss Hyun." Her eyes glistening as she remembered her deceased husband, Yumin whined and hugged her mom from the side tightly while soothing her.

This was not what Jimin expected when he was on his way here, he had expected a fun night and not an emotional one. He didn't want them to cry, not now or any day. He just wanted them to be happy all the time, with or without him.

A sigh escaped his plump lips as he reached out to hold his aunty's hands and said in an ever so soothing tone, "Chim doesn't like it when his aunty is sad. If his pretty aunty cries then how would he be able to be strong?"

Taehyung stared at him, he looked so angelic as he comforted her, saying many more things using his lovely voice and a small smile crept up on his lips.

"Jimin-ah. You know, mom would often talk about you, she would often feel sorry for not being there with you when you needed-" he placed a finger on his lips gesturing her to say no more, he didn't want to be sad right now. He wanted to enjoy this night.

"Forget those things." He uttered, retreating his hands and placing his hand under his chin as he raised an eyebrow at her, "Did you miss me?" He questioned, smirking at her.

Yumin giggled covering her mouth as she began blushing at the way he looked at her, meanwhile Taehyung was looking at both of them with his gimlet eyes.

Mrs. Kim laughed looking at the childhood friends and answered him, "Every year on your birthday, she would buy your favorite chocolates and would distribute it to the poor kids."

Jimin's eyes softened, "Awww. So sweet. Why do you love me so much?"

Yumin scoffed, "Because, you are my best friend!" Jimin winked at her and fist bumped her, unaware of the jealousy bubbling up inside the person sitting next to him who was slurping his noodles loudly.

'Huh. Overreacting.'

Taehyung thought, rolling his eyes and said, "We should not talk much while eating." Making everyone go silent and look at him with round eyes.

Jimin smirked as he twirled his ramen with his chopsticks and questioned, "Well, didn't you miss me?"

Taehyung scoffed and went back to eating, considering it unnecessary to answer his question. How can he even ask that after how he had irritated him back then?

Yumin, on seeing him silent, took it upon herself to answer that question, "He missed you a lot." She said, her voice laced with sarcasm.

Jimin huffed as he remembered it and then considered Taehyung childish for making a big fuss about something that wasn't even serious at first place, after all they were kids back then and it was normal for a kid to tease another.

But he chose to not say that and let the mother and daughter tell him about those days when Taehyung had made a rule that nobody would mention Jimin in his presence, and how he would get worked up whenever either of them broke the rule. Meanwhile, Taehyung was busy hiding his face, if he pushed his face further in, it would come into contact with the soup.

"Ah! This one is where he literally looked scary, I mean I was very much afraid of him. For two days, I was hesitant to talk to him." Yumin said as she got ready to take them to that particular day in London. Taehyung internally groaned, Mrs. Kim remembered some part of it and chuckled a little, making Jimin grow curious and give her a nod so that she could start.

It was a beautiful morning on 13th October and they were seated for breakfast, having a healthy chat until Yumin accidentally mentioned Jimin's birthday and how she had bought his favorite chocolates. Mrs. Kim and Mr. Kim shared a concerned look as they glanced at Taehyung, who was clenching his jaw.

Mrs. Kim placed her hand on the girl's thigh indicating her to stop and the latter gave her a questioning look, the moment she realized it was too late to apologize as Taehyung was already fuming. He slammed his fork on the table and abruptly stood up making the chair fall behind him, they flinched in their seats.

Mr. Kim sighed and reached out to hold his hand to calm him down but Taehyung was busy glaring at his sister, "Noona, if you like him so much, why don't you just go back and live with him and stop talking about him with us? How many times do I have to repeat myself?" The venomous words escaped through his gritted teeth as he breathed heavily.

Mrs. Kim stood up from her seat and went towards him while Yumin was at a loss of words, she didn't mean to bring that up and make her little brother angry. She didn't even know why he hated her best friend so much.

"Sweetheart, calm down." Mrs. Kim murmured to him as she rubbed his arm soothingly, Taehyung carefully pushed her arms away and diverted his attention back to Yumin.

"Take his name once more.." Yumin gulped as he added, "..and I will forget that I ever had a sister." He mumbled loud enough for them to hear, Mr. Kim snapped his head at him in bewilderment, he didn't expect that from his son.

"Kim Taehyung!" He yelled and watched him turn to leave but when Yumin tried to call him out, he shoved his spoons and forks to the floor frightening them and stormed away ignoring how his father was calling him angrily.

"Wow. Too much anger is injurious to one's health." Jimin chuckled, eyeing Taehyung who grabbed his glass of water and turned away as he drank it.

"Well after coming back, he seems to not leave your side. I wonder where that scary Taehyung went." Yumin mocked, hiding back a smirk as her brother glared at her and stood up as he collected his and Jimin's empty plates and placed them in the sink, bringing a smile to their faces. He was cute.

"Taehyung-ah, won't you wash my plates too?" Mrs. Kim smiled, waiting to get a reaction. Taehyung took her plates as well and went back to do the dishes, unconscious about the planning process that was happening inside Jimin's mind as he stared at him with nonchalant eyes.

"Hey, stupid." A boy slapped the back of his head as he walked past him laughing with his friends, Taehyung's lips puckered as he looked down and kept walking towards his class.

"Hey look, Theo is here." A girl said to her friends as she saw him coming their way.

"Look at his eyes, I wonder if he can see when he is laughing." Girls murmured among themselves as they stood in the hallway and stared at him, he hugged his backpack closer as he took hasty steps while trying to ignore them as much as possible.

He was used to it, this was nothing, he was being called by so many names ever since he joined secondary school. He thought everything would be over after coming to London, but oh boy he was so wrong.

They made fun of his accent, his eyes, facial features, and his Korean name. They would often take advantage of his nervousness, making him their puppet and threatening to beat him up if he refused them.

He thought he wouldn't be able to handle this, but as years passed by he learnt to get used to it. He would constantly remind himself,

"Same shit, different day. No big deal. You will get through it"

He sniffled as he laid on his bed thinking about unnecessary things that reminded him how fresh his wound still was, "How long would it take to heal?" He sighed and wiped away the tears that ran down his cheeks.

It was his choice to be their marionette, if he had been stronger and refused to be their puppet then maybe he wouldn't have hated Jimin the same way he hated them.

He was sure that Jimin must have considered him as childish but only if he knew what he went through.

He was just fourteen when everything happened, when a group of friends bullied him verbally and physically just because they were bored. That night he locked himself up in his room and cried the whole night. His mind was clouded with all kinds of names and stories that they made up about him, he couldn't even cry loudly because if he did, he would worry his parents.

He cried to an extent that his heart ached and his throat went dry, he felt like he was going out of breath. And suddenly Jimin's voice controlled his mind, he remembered how he called him dumb, weak and kept making fun of the way he looked that made him feel insecure about himself.

And since then he despised Jimin with all his guts along with his school bullies. The mere mention of his name would make him lose his mind. He would often have anxiety and distance himself from everyone in school and would talk less at home.

But once he changed schools, he got better. The students there treated him very friendly, he had met a bunch of friends who took him into their squad and made him feel alive, they were one of the best people in his life. And with time, he found the old bubby Taehyung back in him and he eventually stopped living in the past.

Taehyung chuckled at himself, "Time has changed." He mumbled rubbing his face with a smile, the hate he had for Jimin was nowhere to be seen now. He didn't know when he started loving the name, his presence and his voice. He would no longer go back to that past whenever the other was by his side.

"Park Jimin.." He groaned tossing on the bed, he punched his pillow and added, "You are so irresistible, hyung." He whispered and closed his eyes, thinking about Jimin and the days he spent with him and gradually he went into a deep slumber.

"The name sounds familiar to me." Grandma said, turning off her laptop and placing it on the table that was situated beside the couch. She was in China to attend a wedding of her friend's daughter and was going to be back after a week.

Jimin smiled at her, he FaceTimed her before going to bed and decided to let her know about Kim's, "Taehyung, your TaeTae. Uncle Hyun's son." He reminded her and saw her eyes dilating.

"Oh! Our little TaeTae, he used to come to our company with his dad." She exclaimed, giggling and continued, "He used to sleep in my office after having lunch with me. How does he look now? When did they come back?" She asked, excitedly making him chuckle.

"Probably three to four months back? I don't know, I met him two months ago." He said, plopping down on his bed and drying up his hair with a towel.

She snorted, "And you are telling me now?"

"You are so busy with your work and your favorite Mia that you don't even give me a chance to tell you about anything." He bewailed, pouting a little and she scoffed.

"Ah, you little. That doesn't mean I won't listen to your nonsense." She scolded, glaring at him subtly. He grinned and winked at her, bringing a smile to her face.

"Anyways, when are you coming back? I miss you." his lips twitched down as he fell back and a sigh of relief escaped his lips, if he shut his eyes now he would fall asleep in no time.

"Aww, I miss you too. But my friends here are planning on going for a small vacation, so I have to join them. So I'll probably be back after a month." She informed him, standing up from the couch and heading to the kitchen to get some water. Jimin could see the luxurious interior of the hotel she was staying at, he wondered why she wasn't staying in their farmhouse in China.

"What about the company?"

Grandma placed her mobile on the counter and poured some water into a glass from the jug as she replied, "Mr. Kim will take care of it. And you must lend him a hand."

Jimin abruptly sat up and pointed at him and earned a firm nod from the old woman, he groaned and whined but stopped when she shot a glare at him. He couldn't reject her, he could never and sighed in defeat.

She proudly smiled, "Great. And you better not ignore Mia, treat her nicely." She uttered only to see him roll his eyes and murmur to himself.

"I don't like that bitch."

"Park Jimin!" She sternly called, making him nod in surrender and agree to her, "Now go to sleep, take care of yourself. Good night." She added, waving at him.

"I love you." He muttered waving back at her and received a flying kiss from his lovely grandma, he hung up and threw his phone away and stared at the ceiling.

"Mia, Mia, Mia. Oh Mia!" He sang in his husky voice. Was there any way to get rid of her? He didn't like her a bit, all he wanted to do whenever she would pop up in front of him was to shove bread into her mouth so that she wouldn't be able to speak.

And as if her mere remembrance wasn't enough, his mobile tinged and grabbed it only to see a good night text from Mia with a kiss emoji, "Mamma Mia!" He yelled, his face churned into disgust while he kicked the air.
