Author's pov:

He huffed as he kept checking his mobile from time to time to see whether Taehyung has replied to him or not, he had sent a 'Good morning', 'Good Afternoon' texts to him and had even asked if he had had his lunch but got no response neither was it seen.

With each minute passing by, regret filled in him. He shouldn't have kissed, he probably went too far. He hit his head with his phone as he looked at the television in front of him that displayed a news about an actor who had committed suicide.

'...Lee Kang Sun, who was a popular actor and had many blockbuster movies, was found hanging in his room around this afternoon. According to his assistant, he had been mentally stressed and...'

The actor caught Jimin's eyes and he placed his mobile aside and turned the volume high using the controller.

'Lee Kang Sun?'

The name rang a bell, not because he was a fan of his but because his mother had been his fan, a die hard fan. His eyes brimmed as he remembered her.

"Momma! Let me watch Shin Chan's new movie, it will start now." The eight years old Jimin whined as he tried to grab the controller from his mother, who held it high.

"Wait baby, this is the last scene and then you can watch whatever you like." She said, smiling at him and averted her gaze back at the television.

Jimin pouted and crossed his arms over his chest, "You have watched this movie last week, aren't you bored of it?" He mumbled.

Mrs. Park chuckled and turned her body to face him, "No, because Mumma is the biggest fan of him just like how you are the biggest fan of Action Kamen." She said pointing at the actor and giggled.

"Who is he?" He asked, showing off his cute doe eyes, making her boop his little nose.

"He is Lee Kang Sun. Isn't he handsome?" She questioned, raising her eyebrows with a broad smile. She watched Jimin observing him for a while and then looked back at her and shook his head.

"Not as handsome as Dad."

Mrs. Park chortled at her son's answer and squished his cheeks, "That's true. Nobody can beat your dad's handsomeness." Jimin grinned.

Jimin blinked his tears away and sniffled, he turned off the television and laid his head back on the couch. He closed his eyes and sighed, was there no way to delete his memories? He thought. Sometimes, he wished to be a robot, he could delete his memories whenever he wished.

His phone tinged and he looked at it only to see Yumin sending him a ton of reels, he sighed, "Did she get a day off from work?" He mumbled and suddenly it flashed to him that he was waiting for Taehyung's reply. He tapped on their chat and saw that his messages were still unseen.

Jimin groaned, "Is he mad at me?" He looked at the time and realized that in a few minutes, Taehyung's classes would be dismissed. He stood up from the couch, and grabbing the keys, he hurried out of the mansion.

"Finally, We can go home!" Taehyung stretched his hands up in the air as he smiled widely, walking out along with Namjoon and Jungkook with their bags.

"Go home and eat snacks!" Namjoon exclaimed and almost drooled as he imagined his mom, placing all the delicious snacks on the table for him, he agreed with him.

"But I have basketball practice." Jungkook pouted as he leisurely followed them, making them look at him with fake sympathy in their eyes.

"Poor Jungkookie." Both mocked him as they sang, the youngest one rolled his eyes at them and caught sight of Jimin, his eyebrows furrowed as he stepped ahead a bit and saw his Jimin leaning against his car, as if waiting for someone.

Jungkook, without uttering a word, sprinted out of the campus. Namjoon and Taehyung shared a look of puzzlement and chased him to see what brought joy to the younger.

"Jimin hyung!" Jungkook screamed as he jumped on the older one, hugging his neck dearly. Jimin caught his waist with a surprised look and then found Namjoon and Taehyung coming towards them, Namjoon was chuckling while Taehyung looked a bit off?

"Hey." Jimin muttered as they pulled away. He waved at the other two and only received a gesture from the older one which clenched his heart.

"How come you are here?" Namjoon questioned as he and Taehyung stood in front of them.

Jimin smiled at him as he glanced at Taehyung and confidently lied, "I was passing by and then thought of dropping you all." He knew very well that Namjoon traveled in his motorbike and Jungkook had practices thrice a week, which would leave him alone with Taehyung.

'Smart Jimin.'

Namjoon hissed and pointed at his parked dark blue motorbike, "But I will be riding back home. So, I can't join you guys." He flashed a sorry smile at him and Jimin was internally jumping out of happiness.

"And I have practice.." Jungkook fiddled with his fingers which Jimin found cute, he immediately pinched his cheeks.

"It's fine." He turned to face Taehyung with an invisible smirk playing on his lips, "How about you?"

Taehyung stole a glance at him and adjusted his glasses, he couldn't look into his eyes directly then how would he be able to be in the same car as Jimin? No, no, that's not possible. It would be very awkward or more embarrassing for him, he thought and snaked his arms around Namjoon's left hand.

"Namjoon hyung will give me a ride." He uttered, smiling up at the latter and Jimin's expression fell. He was aware of the fact that Taehyung was trying to avoid him, if it was someone else he would give them their needed space but this was Taehyung, and he was bothered.

He came all the way here to make everything between them right, he had to make sure that Taehyung rides back home only with him. When he was about to open his mouth to say it, Namjoon had beaten him to it.

"No, no. He came here to pick us up, if none of us join him, he will feel bad." Taehyung's eyes fluttered and he was internally screaming, "I think you should go with him." He watched as Namjoon gently removed his hands from his arm and pushed him towards Jimin. Good thing that he didn't stumble upon him to make everything worse for him.

Jimin grinned widely as he quickly opened the door for him, indicating him to get in and Taehyung shared a glance between the car and his friends.

'Was it necessary to go with him? It won't matter if Jimin felt bad, right? No, it matters.'

He inwardly cried, with slumped shoulders he climbed into the car after bidding goodbye to his friends. Jimin shut the door and looked at Namjoon and Jungkook.

"I hope you could join us." He said, scrunching his nose. Namjoon just chuckled and Jungkook pouted, he wanted to join them but he also couldn't abandon his practice.

"Anyways. See you guys, take care."

Jimin stole frequent glances at him as he drove back home with a steady pace, Taehyung didn't even spare a look at him as he kept his eyes glued outside. The older one was restless, he wanted to strike up a conversation but he didn't know how to be an opening batsman.

He cleared his throat to get his attention but in vain, making him sulk in his seat. He just wanted to halt the car and pull him into a hug and not let him go until he forgave him, but he was resisting himself, he didn't want to make him feel more uncomfortable so he kept driving quietly.

Taehyung wanted to talk to him, it was not possible for him to stay silent especially when they were alone. But his shyness had put on a barrier that he wasn't able to break, he was hoping for the other to approach him but he was also hoping for that to not happen at all.

He didn't know how to express what he was thinking, was he angry at Jimin? No. Why was he avoiding him then? He didn't know. He sighed deeply and removed his glasses, placing them inside his bag.

"Kim Taehyung." Jimin's deep husky voice startled him, making him turn his head to face him, he looked frustrated.

"How long are you going to avoid me?" Jimin asked, he couldn't stay still anymore and gathered up all his courage and went for it.

Taehyung gulped and looked at Jimin's hands that were gripping the steering wheel, "I didn't avoid you.." He lied with a pinch of hesitation in his tone.

"Oh yeah?" Jimin looked at him with wide eyes, "You left last night without even sparing a glance at me, you are not receiving my messages and earlier you didn't want to come with me. What should I take this as?" He snapped.

Taehyung sat still and didn't mutter a word, he wanted to be sorry for doing so but something in him was stopping him, making him unable to form sentences. This resulted in bringing back the awkward silence into the car.

Jimin felt guilty for snapping at him, after all it wasn't Taehyung's fault. He was the one who created this mess, and of course he had to bear all the consequences but if it includes staying away from the younger, he wouldn't bear it.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled, audible enough for Taehyung to hear it, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have talked to you in that tone." He apologized sincerely, his tone getting softer as he looked at Taehyung, who looked down at his hands and played with the hem of his shirt.

"It's okay." He heard him say, but that didn't provide him enough relief. He sighed and pushed the break, the car slowed down and halted.

He looked ahead and muttered, "I'm not exactly sure about what you are thinking about me but I really don't want to break the bond we have, I can't. I'm sorry, Tae. I'm really sorry for whatever happened yesterday." His voice cracked as he felt really bad and if Taehyung didn't respond to him, he would definitely cry.

Taehyung's eyebrows furrowed as he gazed at his left to see Jimin, 'Will he cry today too?' He thought.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what got into me last night. Maybe I wasn't in the right mind while doing that or.." he trailed off and sighed, "I don't know, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have kissed you last night, please forgi-"

"I didn't mind it." Taehyung blurted out and quickly covered his mouth with wide eyes.

"I know, I'm so-" Jimin froze, as he looked at the other with big doe eyes, "-rry.." he breathed out the next part.

'Shit, shit, shit.' Taehyung mentally cursed as he shut his eyes, not thinking of opening any time soon.

Jimin blinked and stuttered, did he hear it right? Was he hallucinating? He slapped his ears gently and looked back at him.

"Can you repeat, please?" Jimin requested, arching his eyebrows and watched him shake his head, his mouth still covered with his hands and eyes closed.

Jimin sighed and rested his back on the seat, he closed his eyes and exhaled a sharp breath. Was he overthinking for no reason? Or was Taehyung lying to him to make him feel better? He hissed and leaned towards him and grabbed his wrist as he pulled him closer, catching him off guard.

"Repeat it and say that you mean it." Jimin ordered, intensely staring into his eyes and Taehyung immediately turned his gaze away, there was no way he could look at him. Jimin squeezed his wrist indicating that he must look at him.

Jimin looked so intimidating, fear built in him as he thought that if he didn't answer him now, it would anger him.

So, Taehyung moistened his lips nervously as he slowly looked up at him, "I didn't mind." He stuttered and gulped, "I mean it." Jimin unclasped his hand and heaved out a heavy sigh, a small smile making its way towards his lips as he massaged his forehead with his fingers.

Upon looking at his smile Taehyung asked, "Why are you smiling?"

Jimin chuckled, "Why were you avoiding me then?" He completely ignored his question and asked him one instead.

Taehyung fiddled with his fingers as he looked away, "I was embarrassed." He mumbled.

Jimin snorted, "I was tense and overthinking last night and lost my sleep, thanks to your embarrassed ass." He said with a soft chuckle at the end.

He could see Taehyung's lips forming into a cute pout and he badly wanted to kiss it away but that would definitely bring back that awkward atmosphere, right? He cleared his throat and pinched his right cheek.

"Don't be embarrassed." Taehyung stayed quiet, "Okay?" Jimin's firm tone made him give a quick obedient nod. Jimin shook his head with a silly smile decorating his lips and started the car, pushing the accelerator as they moved ahead to Kim's bungalow.

Taehyung was shy, he still didn't find enough courage to talk normally with him. But there was a question he wanted to ask since last night, why did he kiss him? He contemplated on whether he should ask it right away or not. This was the opportunity by the way, as they are alone and in the car, there would be no one to overhear them or disturb them.

"How's your day?" Jimin asked him. Taehyung sighed, looks like he can't ask right now.

He then revised the events of his day, he was in a hurry in the morning as he woke up late and eventually missed the bus, but reached on time but the thereafter was what made him roll his eyes. Damian was irritating, he was so irritating.

"It was okay okay.." He replied with a small smile, Jimin glanced at him and observed that something must have bothered him.

"What's wrong? Tell me." He said in a soft tone, enough to assure him that he can share it. But Taehyung was not sure how Jimin could help him and in addition to that, it was trivial, he just had to continue to ignore Damian and let him not control his mind.

"Oh, it's nothing. How's your day?" He asked, forcing a smile and then realized what he had asked after he saw Jimin giving him a look that clearly said 'Are you really asking that question after ignoring me the whole day?' He chuckled nervously and mumbled a sorry.

"Tae, tell me na. Who's bothering you?" Jimin whined a little, making him sigh, he was curious to know who else dared to bother other than him. He admitted that he often bothered Taehyung with his random texts, pictures and constant meetings without any prior notice; he loved to do it.

Taehyung pondered on and in a few seconds he gave in, "There's a guy from Namjoon hyung's class, Damian." Jimin hummed, "On the first day of my uni, I mistook him as Joonie hyung and there everything began." He said, rubbing his eyes gently. Damn, he wanted to sleep.

"What did he do?" Slight anger was evident in Jimin's voice but he was unable to make it out.

"He follows me everywhere around the campus, sometimes even asks me to go out with him and oh! He even offered me a pick and drop service. Fucker!" Taehyung cursed out loud, he was busy rambling about Damian's tactics in convincing him for a date that he was unaware of Jimin's grip on the steering getting tighter, his jaws clenched and the visible scowl on his face.

He was not sure why his emotions were almost getting out of hand, it wasn't like he owned Taehyung. But he didn't like that some guy was hitting on him, he didn't like it at all. But he couldn't show it either, he was driving after all. He took deep breaths and calmed down.

He plastered on a fake smile and patted Taehyung's hands as he uttered, "It's fine. Happens, you just have to ignore it unless you like it." He winked at him with a laugh.

Taehyung grimaced, "No way. I don't even remember his existence until he shows up in front of me."

Jimin laughed, he was cute. The way he would pout as he continued his rambling session, his fingers making gestures as he talked or pulling his red hair in frustration. Jimin adored it all, if some outsider saw him, he would definitely conclude that Jimin was a boyfriend, who was head over heels for his cute guy.

The car finally came to a stop, he looked to his right and saw the guy snoring softly, his head tilted to the left, his red strands covering half of his eyes.

'His hair has grown a lot.'

Jimin thought as he slowly reached out to push his hair away from his hair, eventually he traced his fingers over his mushy cheeks. He smiled, "I don't know what your purpose in my life is, but I hope you stay by my side forever. No matter how bad I am to you."

Taehyung stirred, Jimin quickly retreated his hand and coughed lightly. He saw him opening his eyes and stretching his limbs as he yawned, and finally met his eyes.

"Did we reach?" His voice hoarse and he yawned again making him chuckle and nod.

"You can go now. I will drop by some other time." Jimin said, stroking his hair. Taehyung smiled widely at the gesture, he loved it as it made his heart flutter and cheeks red.

Jimin moved closer and squished his cheeks, "You are cute." Taehyung gulped, his heart thumping loudly against his chest, he was afraid that if the older heard it, it would be so embarrassing. He moved his gaze away from his eyes and it fell on the plump lips of Jimin.

His eyes widened, those were the same lips that he kissed last night. Jimin saw it, the way his cheeks got redder, he smirked and drew near to him, his eyes on Taehyung's parted lips, it was as if he was waiting to be kissed. Taehyung closed his eyes and Jimin's smirk got vaster.

He faintly brushed his lips against his, giving him chills and then moved back to sit on his seat, "You must be sleepy, Taehyung-ah."

Taehyung snapped out his reverie and blinked at Jimin with large eyes.

'What the fuck?'

He looked so dumb right now, his cheeks heated up again and he looked away from Jimin while he fanned his cheeks and tapped them lightly.

Jimin was biting down his laughter, he grinned and uttered, "Have some sleep, bye." He waved and watched Taehyung shooting a glare at him before he opened the door and stepped out with his bag.

"Bye." He shut the door with a bang and stomped away, opening the gate in a haste and then furiously ringing the doorbell. Jimin guffawed in his seat as he observed his every move.

'Nobody is as cute as him.'
