HUDDLED TOGETHER,Β Cobra Kai stood shoulder to shoulder, their eyes locked on Miyagi-do across the mat. The air buzzed with tension, a silence broken only by the muffled noise of the crowd in the background. Kwon, standing at the center like an immovable force, folded his arms and gave the opposing team a calculated glare.

"We take Miyagi-Do first. They're weakest." he said bluntly, his voice cold and matter-of-fact. "Let them come to us. Then, we fight the other dojangs."

The strategy, pragmatic as it was, didn't sit well with y/n. She crossed her arms, her jaw tightening. Her heart thumped in her chest, not just from the high stakes of the match but from the sheer frustration of listening to Kwon yet again dictate the game plan like his word was gospel.

"That's too pussy a move," she said suddenly, her voice cutting through the group like a knife.

All eyes snapped to her, even Kwon's. He turned his head sharply, his dark eyes narrowing at her challenge.

"What?" he asked, his voice low, almost daring her to repeat herself.

"You heard me," the girl said, stepping forward. "That's cowardly. What makes Cobra Kai Cobra Kai is that we strike first. We strike hard. No hesitation, no waiting for the other team to 'wear out.' We go in, and we crush them."

Her voice carried the kind of conviction that drew attention of the senseis, who exchanged a rare look of pride with each other. Even the quieter members of the team were invested. Lee nodded in agreement, stepping up beside her.

"She's got a point," He said, glancing at the others. "Our offense is our strength. And besides, we don't know how Miyagi-do fights. Sure, they might look weak, but what if their offense outmatches our defense? If we wait too long, we're giving them the advantage."

The group exchanged glances, nodding reluctantly. Even Park looked thoughtful, his usually playful expression replaced with seriousness.

Kwon exhaled sharply through his nose, his frustration barely contained, though it wasn't directed at the y/h/c-haired girl. "Fine. What do you suggest then?"

Y/n's eyes flicked to Miyagi-do, studying their lineup. "Six-on-six. Each of us takes a person. We overwhelm them with speed and power, one by one." Her voice steadied, and she pointed across the mat. "I'll take their female captain."

"I'll take the guy," Kwon muttered, his gaze locking on Robby, who stood tall and confident on the other side. His eyes burned with unspoken rivalry, and his jaw tightened like he was already fighting the match in his head.

The others quickly assigned themselves matchups: Lee with Demetri, Yoon against Hawk, Park and Miguel... Tory for Devon. Yet as the group finalized the plan, the blonde stayed quiet, her arms crossed tightly over her chest.

When she finally spoke, her voice was edged with tension. "This isn't going to work."

Heads turned toward her, and y/n frowned, "Why not?"

Tory's jaw clenched. "I know them. They're going to protect the egg. That's what Miyagi-do does. They're defensive. They'll rally around their captains, and we'll waste time picking off the wrong people."

Y/n tilted her head, her eyes narrowing. "You justΒ know them? Or is there something else you haven't been telling us, like maybe fighting alongside them."

Tory glared at her, taking a step forward. "Don't start with me, y/n. I'm just saying your little 'one-on-one' plan isn't going to work."

"You're saying we don't attack at all?" y/n shot back, her voice rising. "Because that sounds a hell of a lot like a Miyagi-do move."

"I'm saying we attack smart," Tory snapped. "Forget one-on-one. We go straight for their captainsβ€”cut off the head, and the rest of the team falls apart."

"Be quiet, okay?" Kwon said suddenly, his voice low and cold. His gaze turned to Tory, but the disdain in his tone was directed at both of them. "Just stay out of the way, and don't fall down."

Y/n's frustration boiled over. "Stop being an asshole!" she said, stepping closer to him. "This is a team discussion. Not just you barking orders like you own the place."

Kwon turned to her fully now, his lips curling into a slow, condescending smirk. "A team discussion? Funny, coming from someone so worried about her little inter dojo playtime. Whatever happened to GiRl CoDe?"

The words hit like a slap. y/n's face flushed red, her stomach knotting with both embarrassment and anger.

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" she demanded, her voice shaking with restrained fury.

Kwon shrugged, his tone casual but his eyes sharp as a blade. "You tell me." His gaze flicked briefly toward Robby before returning to her, the implication hanging heavy in the air.

Y/n stepped closer, her fists clenched. "I have no idea what you're yapping about this time, and something tells me that you don't either."

"I don't?" Kwon said, his smirk widening. "That's cute."

Before y/n could retort, Yoon stepped between them, his hands raised in frustration. "Enough! Both of you!" His voice was louder than usual, commanding their attention. "We don't have time for this again."

Y/n and Kwon both glared at each other for a long moment before stepping back reluctantly.

Meanwhile, Tory took the opportunity to slip away. She crossed the mat quickly and approached the senseis, her hands gesturing animatedly as she explained her concerns.

"Teams, take your positions!" the Chancellor's voice boomed over the arena, snapping everyone's attention back to the match.

Y/n's head whipped around. "Where's Tory?"

Before anyone could answer, Tory strode onto the mat, her posture confident and defiant as she pushed past her teammates.

"What are you doing?" y/n called after her, her voice sharp with confusion.

Tory turned her head slightly, her expression unreadable. "Not giving any of you a choice," she said simply, her tone biting.

The Chancellor's voice rang out again. "BEGIN!"

Tory lunged forward before anyone else could react, making her intent clearβ€”she was taking control, Cobra Kai-style. The rest of team froze for half a second before the adrenaline kicked in, and they followed suit.

Without hesitation, y/n launched herself into action, her movements precise and aggressive as chaos erupted on the mat.

Cobra Kai surged forward with their signature aggression, while Miyagi-do braced themselves, their stance calm but ready. Demetri found himself immediately facing Kwon, who wasted no time kicking him out.Β

"Demetri's out!"

The fight resumed as the remaining competitors clashed.

Yoon, light on his feet, danced around Hawk, dodging a quick roundhouse with an effortless backbend. Hawk pressed forward, throwing a flurry of punches aimed at Yoon's midsection, but Yoon deflected them with fluid blocks, his movements almost taunting.

"Come on, Pigeon!" Yoon taunted, his grin infuriating Hawk.

Hawk growled and lunged with a flying elbow, but Yoon cut it short by kicking his chest. And with a spinning heel kick straight to his face, Eli hit the ground with a thud.

"Another win for Cobra Kai!"

On the other side, Devon charged at Tory with a powerful side kick, but the blonde caught her ankle midair and twisted, sending Devon stumbling. Tory didn't give her a chance to recover, stepping in with a series of rapid strikes: a jab to the shoulder, a hook to the ribs, and a final push kick to the sternum.

Devon doubled over, trying to counter with a spinning elbow, but Tory ducked under it effortlessly, smirking as she grabbed the brunette by the arm, twisting it into a lock before sweeping her leg out from under her. Devon hit the mat hard, and Tory ended the exchange with a stomp just shy of contact, forcing Devon to surrender.

"Cobra Kai dominates again!"

The fight grew fiercer as the remaining competitors fought with everything they had.

Park and Miguel circled each other, their eyes locked. Miguel made the first move, feinting a low kick and pivoting into a jumping spinning heel kick aimed at Park's head. Park managed to block it, but the force sent him stumbling.

He countered with a series of aggressive strikes, each one faster than the last, but the Latino just ducked under a high kick, pivoting into a powerful side kick that caught Park in the ribs. The raven-haired boy staggered but retaliated with a leaping knee aimed at Miguel's chest. Miguel twisted just in time, grabbing Park's arm mid-strike and flipping him onto the mat.

"Miyagi-Do takes one!"

Adjacent to her boyfriend, Samantha moved with precision, her defense flawless as she blocked Lee's heavy strikes. She deflected his roundhouse with a sharp elbow, twisting into a low sweep that clipped Lee's ankle. Lee stumbled but recovered quickly, launching into a powerful spinning back kick that Sam barely ducked under.

She seized the opening, stepping in with a palm strike to Lee's chest, followed by a quick leg sweep. Lee hit the mat hard, and Sam didn't let up, forcing him out of bounds with a side kick.

"Miyagi-Do scores again!"

With Demetri, Hawk, Devon, Park, and Lee out, only Miguel, Robby, and Sam remained for Miyagi-do, while Kwon, y/n, Tory, and Yoon stood for Cobra Kai.

Y/n found herself facing Miguel...

She froze, her heart pounding in her chest as they circled each other. Neither made the first move. Miguel's eyes searched hers, silently asking why she wasn't attacking.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Kreese's voice boomed from the sidelines. "STRIKE FIRST!"

Kim Da-eun's voice followed, equally sharp. "Do not hesitate! No mercy!"

The girl's throat tightened. Her hands felt heavy, her movements slow. This was Miguelβ€”her friend, someone she cared about. The thought of hurting him paralyzed her.

Miguel hesitated too, his stance faltering for a moment. His eyes softened, the fierce determination he usually carried replaced with uncertainty.

"Y/N!" Yoon's voice cut through the noise. He had been watching her, and something in her frozen posture told him everything he needed to know.

He moved swiftly, stepping between them. "I've got this," he said, placing a hand on her shoulder. His voice was calm, but his eyes were serious. "Go take down their captain. You can do this."

Y/n hesitated, searching his face for reassurance. Yoon nodded firmly.

She took a deep breath and stepped away, her eyes flicking to Sam across the mat. She was Miyagi-do's captain, their leader. But before she could make her way to brunette, her eyes caught on the clash unfolding between Kwon and Robby.Β

It was impossible to look away.

"You sleep okay, huh?" Kwon's aggression was palpable, every move fueled by sheer power and relentless force. He advanced like a storm, his strikes heavy and fast, leaving no room for Robby to breathe. But Keene, ever the tactician, wasn't trying to match Kwon's strengthβ€”he was using it against him.

Each dodge and parry seemed deliberate, calculated. Robby was waiting, letting Kwon's intensity tire him out, searching for the perfect moment to strike. The moment came swiftly. Robby sidestepped one of Kwon's brutal kicks and countered with a spinning back kick to his ribs. Kwon stumbled, his balance wavering.

Y/n reacted on instinct, rushing to his side. She pressed her back against his just before he could fall, her arms steadying him, anchoring him until he regained his footing.

Kwon stiffened at first, his mind catching up with what had just happened. Slowly, he turned his head to the side, just enough to see her from the corner of his eye. Her face was flushed from the exertion of the fight, strands of hair sticking to her damp forehead. But her expressionβ€”focused, determinedβ€”sent a strange warmth through him.

In that moment, something shifted. Gratefulness swirled with something deeper, something that made his chest feel tight and his resolve sharper. The memory of seeing Robby leave y/n's room the previous night flashed through his mind like a cruel reminder. A spark of anger ignited, burning hotter with each passing second.

Fueled by this newfound fire, Kwon surged forward. His strikes became faster, harder, more ferocious. Robby tried to adjust, but Kwon didn't give him a chance. He trapped Robby in a chokehold, his arms like iron bars around Robby's neck. Robby gritted his teeth, driving his fists into Kwon's ribs in a desperate attempt to break free. But Kwon didn't flinch. Pain didn't registerβ€”not now.

Across the mat, y/n's focus snapped to another fight: Tory and Sam circling each other, their movements careful, both sizing the other up.

Before either could strike, y/n charged, her voice ringing out in a fierce battle cry. "You're mine, Larusso!"

Sam barely had time to react as the y/h/c-haired girl leaped into a flying kick. Sam ducked, narrowly avoiding the attack, and the fight began.

It was quick but brutal. y/n fought with a mix of precision and raw aggression, her strikes landing like hammer blows. Sam managed a few countersβ€”a spinning kick that grazed the girl's shoulder, a palm strike that briefly staggered herβ€”but y/n's relentless offense overwhelmed her. A powerful hook to the jaw sent Sam reeling, and y/n ended it with a spinning heel kick that sent Sam crashing to the ground.

Y/n turned just in time to see Kwon deliver the finishing blow. With one final, savage motion, he slammed Robby to the ground, pinning him there. Robby groaned, too dazed to get back up.

The crowd erupted in cheers as the announcer's voice boomed.Β

"Both Miyagi-do Captains go down... Cobra Kai wins!"
