AURORA WAS LEANT AGAINST THE NURSE'S DESK, alex beside her as she just tried to get a bit of rest. Not that it was possible since they had just started their shift and the chaos was bound to start eventually. And it didn't help that Alex was chewing her ear off at the crack of dawn. "So, why don't we pick a day and go get your stuff?" Alex asks her curiously. They were talking about potentially getting her things from her apartment, but she honestly didn't want to waste the time.

"Because I don't want my stuff, Alex. I want my apartment." She tells him and Alex knew that but they couldn't exactly get that unless they figure out a way to get Isaac in prison for a very long time.

"Compromises, remember?" Alex reminds her and she groans, pouting a bit.

"I know." She mumbles, running her hands through her hair. "God, this just all sucks." Aurora admits and Alex sighs.

"Are you sure you don't want to tell your brother, get his help?" Alex questions, he would be way better at figuring out ideas or even getting Isaac to somehow go away.

"If you can't strike fear into Isaac, I don't know who can." Aurora admits. Isaac hadn't even been swayed when Alex threatened him, Daniel wasn't going to do anything.

"So, pick a day."

"It'll be tricky unless he's out of town." Aurora tells him. Isaac tends to come home suddenly which is exactly what she didn't need happening.

"So, you want to wait until he's out of town? How will we even know that?" Alex asks her, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Lucky guess." She states and Alex rolls his eyes a bit as Meredith walks over toward them, interrupting their conversation.

"Finn asked me out on a date." Meredith tells them. Aurora racks her brain trying to think of the name or even the face of who she was talking about.

"Who's Finn?" Aurora asks curiously.

"The vet." She says and Aurora just stares at her clueless. "Docs vet." Meredith adds and Aurora nods her head slowly.

"Oh." Truthfully she forgot Meredith even had a dog.

"Obviously I can't go out with him, right?" Meredith asks as she sighs a bit. Alex rolls his eyes.

"Do i look like a chick to you? Do i look like i care about yeast cream or tingling feelings?" He mumbles as he walks past her and Meredith crosses her arms against her chest.

"You're a chick for Aurora." She points out.

"No, I'm not and that's different." Alex corrects her as he leans against the desk. He wasn't a girl for Aurora, he was helping her out of a tough situation.

"So, you listen to her problems with Isaac but not mine?" Meredith questions him and Alex got a bit annoyed.

"We grew up together, plus he's a douche. Is this vet guy a douche?" Alex asks, raising an eyebrow. "If he's not in jail or on drugs or keeping body parts in his basement. You wanna do him, do him." He mutters as he shrugs his shoulders.

"Not do him. Date him. Im not doing anybody. I'm knitting." Meredith corrects him.

"Whatever you say." Aurora says as she didn't think Meredith would last very long. Especially with the way she seems to attract men like the plague.

"I need Eugene foote's chart." Cristina mutters as she stops beside them. "Who are we talking about?" She asks curiously as she glances at the group.

"It's weird, right? I mean, he's Derek's vet, he's doc's vet, he's my vet. He's McVet." Meredith mutters as she leans against the desk. "It's weird to date him, right?" She asks them.

"Wait, did you say vet?" Cristina questions her and Meredith nods her head.

"Mhm."

"Like animals?" She asks, looking disgusted and Meredith just furrows her eyebrows. "Oh, you can't date a vet. He's not even a real doctor." Cristina denies with a shake of her head.

"Cristina." Aurora scolds but Cristina scoffs as she meets the blondes gaze.

"You know I'm right." Cristina responds. Aurora rolls her eyes playfully.

"Damn it!" Addison's voice catches them off guard and they turn to see her wiping coffee off of herself. "Sex... hot sex. I need that. Ha ha. Very funny." She mutters and Aurora raises an eyebrow.

"Must not have gone so well this morning." Meredith mumbles and this causes Cristina and aurora to snap their heads toward her.

"What?" Cristina and aurora in unison, both shocked she would even know anything about it. Meredith only sighs, crossing her arms.

"Just run if she looks at you." She tells them and Aurora looks amused, shoving her hands into her pockets. Addison walks over to them and Aurora gives her a quick smile.

"Aurora, you're with me." Addison tells her and she nods her head. "Karev, you too." She adds but the man just scoffs.

"I don't do vagina." He denies. Aurora snorts before feeling him hit her lightly.

"Oh, back talk. You just bought yourself a case." Addison tells him as she shoves the chart into his hands before turning to walk away. Aurora looks up at the man who was already glaring down at her.

"Don't." Alex grumbles and Aurora smirks to herself before just heading after Addison, the man begrudgingly following behind them.

โœฟ๏ธŽ

ALEX BUMPED AURORA'S ARM CAUSING HER TO GLANCE AT HIM. She raises an eyebrow at him, wondering what he wanted as they followed Addison down the hall. "So, are we just randomly picking a day?" He asks curiously. Aurora sighs as she chews the inside of her cheek, her eyes shifting to Addison occasionally who didn't seem to be listening to what they were talking about.

"I don't know. Can we talk about this later?" Aurora asks him, brushing her hair behind her ear. Alex shrugs his shoulders.

"If you wanna keep wearing the same clothes, that's your problem." He admits and she narrows her gaze, scoffing a bit.

"It's not like I don't have any, Mark bought me some, remember?" She points out. She was honestly grateful that he did because she would've been wearing the same clothes over and over again if he hadn't.

"Right, Mark." Alex teases her and Aurora sends him a sharp glare.

"Shut up." She mutters as she pushes him before trying to catch up with Addison.

"Hello, wards." Addison says with a smile as she enters the patients room with Aurora and Alex behind her. "We're just waiting on your labs. How you feeling?" She asks as she looks at the patient.

"I'm feeling large. Large and cow like." The woman responds with a sigh.

"A cow?" Her son asks, tilting his head. Aurora smiles as she watches them.

"Mommy is a cow who needs a quiet talk with the doctor." She states, looking over at her husband who clears his throat.

"Hey, guys, who wants icecream?" He asks and all the kids cheer, making their way out of the room.

"Uh, CBC and chem 7 look fine." Alex says once the room was clear. Addison sensed something was wrong as she looked at the patient.

"Rose?"

"I'm sorry. I'm so tired." She admits with a sigh, covering her face momentarily.

"Six kids, thirty eight weeks pregnant, a saint would be tired." Addison says with a laugh.

"Six?" Aurora asks, her eyes wide. Everyone looks at her causing her to clear her throat. "Sorry." She apologizes sheepishly.

"Its okay, most people have that reaction." Rose says with a gentle smile. "Well, I'm no saint. This baby.... Joseph. Doctor Shepherd, I need him to be my last. And i really seem to be the most fertile woman on the planet." She tells Addison who nods her head.

"If you're interested in alternative forms of birth control, I--"

"No. What I mean is, today during the c-section, i need you to tie my tubes." They weren't shocked by this request, a lot of women asked for it. It's what she said after. "And I need you to do it without my husband ever knowing." Aurora rubs her hands together, not really knowing what to do as she awkwardly looked at Addison.

"Rose, you're an adult. He's your husband, not your legal guardian. Telling him would be entirely up to you." Addison points out.

"Well, if you charged my insurance, he would see it. Any bill you sent, he would see it. I've been saving for this and I can pay you privately." Rose explains to her. Aurora honestly felt a bit odd, watching someone just offer money to a doctor. It wasn't exactly ethical to do it that way.

"So, you're saying you want me to do the surgery and leave no record of it." Addison says, narrowing her eyes a bit.

"Mrs Ward, If you're being abused, there are people you can talk to." Alex pipes up. Aurora looks toward him. She could see why Alex thought that. The worry of it going through insurance and her husband seeing it, Aurora would've been terrified of the same thing if she had gotten pregnant. Luckily she hadn't.

"Oh, Chris is--- He's the opposite of abusive." Rose denies with a shake of her head.

"So, if we pull up your medical records, we're not gonna fin a bunch of old broken bones or--" Alex starts to accuse but the woman shuts him down immediately.

"If you pull up my medical records, you'll find three natural childbirth, three c-sections, two hospital stays for exhaustion and one for dehydration because I was so busy chasing my kids around, I forgot to take a sip of water for three days." Rose explains to him with a small scoff. Aurora frowns as she crosses her arms against her chest.

"I think god understands what I'm going through. I think god will forgive me." Rose says, almost to herself before shaking her head. "But Chris, for him religion isn't a buffet table, where you get to choose what you want to take and leave the rest. And the pope says no to birth control. So, i need your help." She admits as her eyes move to Addison.

Aurora got where she was coming from. If she couldn't get birth control and didn't want to keep having kids, this was the only way to stop it. Seven kids was a lot, not just mentally and physically but also financially. Kids were expensive but it didn't seem the husband cared about anything other than himself. Because if he saw how tired his wife was and actually wanted her to be happy, he wouldn't keep getting her pregnant knowingly.

It didn't seem like Alex did though.

"You don't need our help. Your husband is not abusing you and you don't get to lie to him and blame it on the pope." Alex snaps at her and Aurora stared at him in shock, her eyes wide. Her gaze shifts to Addison momentarily and Aurora knew she was pissed.

"Alex." Aurora whispers but the man just scoffs, walking out of the patients room and slamming the door behind him.

SEEING HER BROTHER SAT AT ONE OF THE MEETING TABLES, Aurora walks inside, pulling up the chair beside him. Daniel just waves his hand as he was in the middle of chewing his sandwich. "Addisons pissed at Alex." Aurora admits with a laugh as Daniel just raises his eyebrows. He wasn't shocked Alex had pissed off an attending, he was honestly more impressed it took him this long.

"For what?" Daniel asks curiously, crossing his arms against his chest.

"How he talked to a patient." Aurora answers and Daniel laughs a bit, shaking his head.

"Are we surprised?"

"Not really but he should know not to just say things around patients, it could end badly for him." Aurora points out. He was a decent doctor, he shouldn't throw it away just for some passover comment.

"Because you have the best bed side manner." Daniel teases his sister who scoffs, pressing her hand against her chest.

"I'm very pleasant, thank you very much." She responds and Daniel rolls his eyes a bit. Cristina walks up to the siblings, gaining their attention as she held out some charts toward Daniel.

"Uh, here are Hunter Keelings images and chart. I noticed a small tear on the outer muscle of the heart." Cristina explains to him as Daniel takes the scans out, raising them. "Right there." She points at it quickly and Daniel glances at her for a moment. He moves the scans down, nodding his head.

"Good catch." Daniel responds and Cristina smiles a bit.

"So, do I get to scrub in?" She asks curiously. Daniel was amused, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Can I access the patient first?" Daniel questions. He hasn't even met the patient yet and she was asking to scrub in on a surgery that he never even confirmed yet.

"Yeah, sure. But then I get to scrub in?" Cristina retorts. Daniel narrows his eyes a bit.

"You're very persistent, aren't you?"

"Is that not a good quality?" Cristina asks, furrowing her eyebrows as she stares at him. Daniel was silent, truly trying to process what to say.

"Meet me in the patients room, doctor yang." Daniel says, glancing back at his sister in order to continue their conversation but Cristina cuts in again.

"We're not going right now?" Cristina asks as she points behind her. Aurora presses her lips together to contain her laughter as she sees the annoyance that formed on her brothers face.

"Right now I have a consult." Daniel retorts as a small sigh leaves his lips. Cristina didn't seem to realize she was getting on his nerves.

"Can I come?"

Aurora saw the way Daniel raised his fingers to hold the space between his eyebrows. She clears her throat, looking toward Cristina. "Cristina, your on my brother's service, not chained to his feet." She teases her and Cristina narrows her eyes.

"Bite me." Cristina retorts, flipping the woman off who only laughs.

"It'll only take a few minutes." Daniel tells her and Cristina reluctantly walks away. "She's on my service all week." He mutters as he looks back at Aurora.

"She's just... eager for her studies." Aurora tells him and Daniel just stares back at her.

"Mhm. Not the word I'd use." He denies, a long sigh leaving his lips before he walks off. Aurora smirks to herself, shaking her head before grabbing the chart and making her way down the hall.

AURORA SCROLLS THROUGH THE COMPUTER, an annoyed sigh leaving her as she couldn't find a suitable apartment. Of course all of them were way out of her price range. Isaac, although it was under her name, paid most of the rent. Mainly because he thought it was the man's job. Whatever that meant. And she hadn't realized just how little she made until she began to scroll.

She knew she shouldn't be doing it while working but honestly, she couldn't find the time outside of work to do it either. "Hey, Aurora, right?" She hears from beside her. Aurora turns her head, seeing Callie leant against the doorframe.

"Yeah."

"Doing anything in particular?" She asks as she moves into the room. Aurora sighs as she shrugs her shoulders.

"Waiting to go into surgery." Aurora admits, honestly wanting her pager to go off so she didn't have to suffer on this website any longer.

"Did Steven's tell you to avoid eye contact with me?" Callie questions when she notices Auroras eyes were glued go the screen. This caught Aurora off guard as she looks back at Callie, a confused expression forming.

"What? No, I don't care that you're seeing George." Aurora denies. She truly didn't care who was seeing who. If Cristina could be with Burke etcetera, then why couldn't George be with Callie?

"Oh, okay." Callie says, a bit relieved that she didn't just follows the herd. "What are you looking at?" She asks curiously as she peers at the screen.

"New apartments." Aurora tells her.

"That ones nice." Callie points out and Aurora liked it too but it was way out of her price range.

"It's expensive."

"You have a budget?" Callie questions and Aurora nods. "I'm sure we can find you something." She admits. There's got to be one apartment within her budget.

"That's okay, you don't have to help me." Aurora denies, perfectly fine with suffering in silence but Callie just gives her a kind smile.

"I don't mind." She denies as she leans against the desk. "I've heard great things about you." Callie admits and Aurora sheepishly smiles back at her.

"All lies." Aurora teases, laughing a bit. "George talked about me?" She asks curiously, a bit surprised especially since Aurora wasn't exactly being the nicest. She just wanted the drama between him and Meredith over with.

"Well, no. I was talking more from Bailey and Shepherd." Callie says with a small laugh and Aurora knew that made more sense.

"Oh, so my brother didn't talk your ear off?" She asks, raising an eyebrow.

"You want him to?" Callie questions back and Aurora instantly shakes her head.

"No, because he'll just embarrass me." Aurora admits and Callie smiles a bit before it gets a bit serious.

"What does Steven's have against me?" She asks, genuinely wanting to know what she did to cause this grievance toward her. Aurora was silent for a second.

"I don't know, honestly. I think it's just because she's close with George and wants what's best for him." Aurora didn't know why Izzie kept talking so much shit about Callie. She didn't even know the woman.

"She doesn't have to be a bitch." Callie grumbles with a sigh as she crosses her arms against her chest. Aurora felt a bit sorry for her.

"She means well." Aurora was sure izzie was just doing it because she was protective. At least she hoped that was what it was about.

"We'll see about that." Callie says as she looks back at the screen before moving her finger to point at one of the listing's. "That one's a decent price." She admits but Aurora scrunches her nose up.

"But it's far away." She points out and Callie purses her lips a bit.

"You want something close to the hospital?" Callie asks her and Aurora raises an eyebrow back at her.

"I'd rather not drive two hours after a long shift." Aurora states. She would definitely get into a car accident if she had to do that.

"True." Callie responds with a sigh before taking the chair next to her and pulling it toward them. "Come on, we're gonna figure it out." Callie says, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as she takes the seat beside the woman. Aurora smiles at Callie before looking back at the screen.

DANIEL WALKS OVER TO ALEX WHO WAS LEANT AGAINST THE WALL. His head was in his hands as he had just been told he would be on Addisons service for a while. All because he told the truth while Addison prefered to lie. "Heard you made an enemy of Addison." He says with a smirk as he nudges Alex's arm. Alex just groans as he lifts his head up.

"Whatever." Alex grumbles, not really caring at this exact moment. Daniel chuckles as he leans against the wall beside him.

"You know, you're not gonna last very long here if you make everyone hate you." Daniel points out and Alex raises an eyebrow.

"Do you hate me?" Alex asks him and Daniel pretends to think about it for a minute.

"I guess not." He says with a chuckle and Alex hits his arm.

"Then I'll be fine." Alex says with a smirk and Daniel rolls his eyes playfully.

"I see you're back to being good with my sister." Daniel states, knowing they had a rough patch for a while and Alex nods his head.

"Yeah."

"You'd tell me if something was wrong, right?" Daniel asks him curiously. Alex furrows his eyebrows, looking a bit confused.

"Uh, with me?" He responds, blinking a few times.

"Aurora, I love her to death, but I know she hates burdening me with her problems." Daniel corrects him and Alex knew that made a lot more sense. "You'd tell me if she said anything to you?" He asks and Alex was silent for a moment.

"About what?" Alex questions.

"Anything? About Isaac." Daniel knew there was something more going on, he just couldn't figure out what. He never liked the guy and it seemed he was right to feel that way.

"Of course I would."

"I just feel likes she pulling away and that she feels like she can't lean on me for support." Daniel tells him. Alex knows that's exactly what was happening but of course he couldn't say that.

"Come on, she knows you're there for her." Alex says with a sigh and Daniel frowns a bit.

"I get that she knows but she doesn't actually talk to me." Daniel used to always be the one Aurora came to with anything, no matter what it was and it seemed that had changed.

"Maybe she just needs to get her head straight before she does." He suggests, bringing his eyes to his hands.

"But she hasn't mentioned anything was wrong to you?" Daniel questions. Alex was hesitant, part of him wanting to say yes but he forces himself to say the opposite.

"No, man, she just talks about work and stuff." Alex denied, clearing his throat a bit. Daniel nods his head slowly.

"Well, um, if she does, will you let me know?" Daniel asks him curiously. Alex stared back at him, feeling bad for keeping it from him. He knew he should say something, it was stupid for him to keep it to himself but he didn't want to lose Auroras trust.

"Yeah, yeah, for sure." Alex responds putting on a smile. Daniel places his hand on his shoulder, squeezing it and giving a thankful look back to him.

"Thanks." Alex nods as the man walks past him. He sighs, bringing his hand up to rub his face. Lying to Daniel wasn't what he wanted to do but he knew Aurora would tell him soon, she just had to build up the courage and just stop feeling like a burden to him.

โœฟ๏ธŽ

AURORA LETS OUT A SIGH AS SHE LEANS AGAINST THE DESK. Her day had been long enough and they had just finished with the baby case, the one where Addison was getting a complaint made against her due to her respecting a patients wishes. It was insane to Aurora how these people could put Addisons career in jeopardy just because they didn't want to tell their husband about tying their tubes. It honestly annoyed her.

Dropping her head in her hands, she was taking a deep breath when she suddenly felt arms wrap around her waist. She freezes, not knowing who it could be. No one really did that unless it was Izzie who just became overly touchy at times. But as she turns her head, it was her worst nightmare as she came face to face with Isaac.

"Are you finally going to come home?" Isaac asks her, acting like there wasn't any reason why she had left in the first place. Aurora could only stare at him for a moment, hoping he wasn't actually there but she knew it wasn't a dream. He definitely wouldn't be in those.

"Isaac, what are you doing here?" Aurora questions, her voice trying to remain stable but it was difficult.

"Visiting you because you seem to be avoiding me." Isaac admits, his hands resting on her waist now. Aurora glances at them, knowing it was more in a showing his dominance way than anything else.

"Yeah, because we broke up." She states, moving his hands off of her as she felt her body start to shiver just at the thought of his hands on her once again.

"I don't recall that ever happening. I remember you being a whore but I can see past that." Isaac corrects her, a slight snarl in his voice as his eyes darkened for a split second. Aurora had to take a breath, swallowing the bile in her throat.

"Well, I'm not coming home." Aurora denies and she could see the way Isaac went from being 'reasonable' to pissed off in less than a moment.

"Oh, so you're done with me?" Isaac asks her, as if not believing her.

"Yeah, I am."

"I don't think so." He denies, shaking his head. "You know how much you need me. Are you even affording that hotel you're staying at?" Isaac asks. Aurora knew this would happen. He would make up all the reasons why she needed to be with him, almost like she had to rely on him to survive and if she didn't, then she wouldn't make it.

"I'm fine." Aurora wasn't fine, she was struggling but she would never admit that to him.

"I don't think you are." Isaac says with a smirk. "Come home, you know I take care of you there." He says, bringing his hand back to her but she slaps it away.

"Right, the bruises are a clear indication that everything was fine." Aurora mumbles, moving past the man in order to get away but he grabs her wrist harshly, turning her back to him.

"Don't walk away from me bitch." Isaac snaps, an angered expression on his face as he glared at her.

"Let me go." Aurora demands, her eyes firmly on his. "I will scream." She warns. But even that didn't do anything to startle him in any way.

"Oh, really? Do it." Isaac taunts as he tilts his head. Aurora felt her heartrate increase as she backed away from him slightly. "Come on, if you're so over me, then scream." She could see the smirk on his face, he knew that she wouldn't and that was the problem. "But you won't, will you?" Isaac asks, reaching out to her but Aurora quickly backs up more.

"I-I have to go." Aurora practically runs off, feeling her breathing become erratic as the tears build in her eyes. She could hear the man laugh from behind her as she gets further away.

"I'll see you later." He calls out after her. Aurora forces her way through the doors, not even knowing where she was walking to, she just had to get as far away as she possibly could.

Aurora hated how he was right. She would never scream, cry for help because she never did. She was always too scared about the judgment from others rather than the pain she suffered from Isaac. Even if she did scream, what would it get her? It would be proven as 'false' and everyone would turn on her thinking she was just a sheep who called wolf.

As she sped down the hall, she didnt even notice that she was walking right toward Derek until she bumped into him. He seemed to notice her, a smile forming. "Aurora, I'm clipping-- aurora?" He stops himself when he notices the state she was in. She barely looked at him. "Aurora, is everything okay?" Derek asks, his voice now full of concern as he takes a step toward her.

"I-im fine." Aurora forces out, her eyes glued to the ground as she rubbed her palms against her legs.

"No, you're not. What happened?" Derek questions, wanting to know what was causing this sudden panic attack. Aurora feels the tears about to leave her eyes as her erratic breathing only gets worse.

"Wheres alex?" She asks the man who furrows his eyebrows.

"I don't know, I think he's--" Derek doesn't get to finish his question as she had just started speeding away from him. He called out a few times for her but she only ignored him.

Aurora had found herself in an on call room, the lights still off as she laid on the bed. She had her legs bundled close to her chest as tears streamed down her cheeks. She squeezes her eyes shut, trying not to remember all the pain that Isaac had put her through. It seemed to be trying to push it's way into her brain but she wasnt allowing it. Aurora felt like she was going insane with the way she could barely even think without it going to Isaac.

A soft knock on the door caught her attention and her breath hitched in her throat for a second.

"Aurora?" Alex's voice comes from the other side of the door. Luckily it was unlocked so he could just open it. He skeptically peeks his head inside, seeing her laying on the bed. "Hey, Shepherd said you were looking for me." He admits. Derek hadn't told him what was going on, just that something happened and Aurora needed him. "What's wrong?" He asks as he closes the door behind him, making his way over to her.

Aurora's eyes were puffy, her nose slightly pink as she wiped at the tears on her cheeks. Turning to face him, she sat up a bit so he could sit down beside her. "I-Isaac." She admits and she could see the anger that spread onto his face.

"That son of a bitch showed up here?" Alex asks her, a scoff leaving him. Aurora nods but she couldn't stop more tears from flowing down her cheeks. His heart clenches as he places his hand on her arm. "Hey, hey, you're okay. He can't do anything to you, not here." He denies but that didn't seem to comfort her.

"But he won't stop, alex. He-- he wants to control my life." Aurora tells him. It wasn't just as simple as being at the hospital, she couldn't live there. She wanted a life and she couldn't have that with Isaac lurking around.

"We won't let him." Alex responds but Aurora just stares down at her hands as she continues to cry. "Hey, it's okay just take some breaths." He tells her, squeezing her arm in a comforting manner.

"I-I can't do this. I can't be here." Aurora denies. She couldn't keep looking over her shoulder and fearing that he'd be there. He knew he was staying at a hotel and most likely which one. He probably even knew what room she was staying in.

"Hey, no. The only one leaving is him." Alex tells her. He wasn't going to let her throw her career away because of that douchebag. He was going to solve this and make sure Isaac could never hurt anyone ever again. "We will figure this out, okay?" He promises as he places his hands on her cheeks.

Aurora nods her head, sniffling but her eyes close as she leans forward, resting her head against his shoulder. Alex sighs as he wraps his arms around her, holding her as he rubs his hand up and down her back. He knew she was still terrified of Isaac, that part was obvious. What wasn't was how he was going to convince the police that Isaac was a woman beater, because without solid evidence, he wasnt staying in jail.
