We try and remain silent which almost seems like a difficult mission in itself.

"I'll get it, you go see Bruno." I add and Nicolas nods...With hesitation of course. He doesn't trust whoever is at the door. I walk down the stairs and notice Nicolas speak to Orlando who then also follows me down the stairs.

I open the door slowly and witness the familiar brown chocolaty hair along with the blue piercing eyes, I try and close the door as quick as I can but the door bursts open and I fly to the floor, Orlando whips out his gun and begins to shoot out.

"Fuck!" He exclaims and I witness Dante sliding down the banister to push Viktor across the wall.

I get up and pull a knife out of my boot but another person comes out and holds a gun in his hand tightly and begins to shoot out.

"Arianna, get out of here!" Dante exclaims.

"No Dante!" I exclaim back and someone with black hair roams through the mansion.

"Sergei!" Dante exclaims and shoves him against the wall and holds a knife close to his neck.

"This is just the beginning Dante." He points out and begins to chuckle.

But everything begins to turn fuzzy when I feel the sudden sharp pain gliding through my thigh.

"Take this as a warning and a preparation." Sergei says to Dante with gritted teeth, Dante stares at me and realisation hit.

Viktor and Sergei ran and I was left with my vision all blurry and Dante holding me and putting pressure on my thigh. But everything suddenly goes dark.

Hours must've passed because I woke up with nothing but stars beaming through the blinds, I saw Bruno lying next to me on top of his hospital looking bed. I glance around and notice that I am also in a similar situation.

A headache arrives bad enough to attack me and soon turns to a migraine. I look around and notice that Bruno is in fact fast asleep, he probably was asleep throughout the whole of the fight. Well, I call it a fight there was nothing entertaining about it.

"How you feeling?" Dante's voice pulls me to sort myself out and I try to sit up but Dante runs over and pushes me down lightly back onto my bed.

"You need to rest." He adds and I sigh as well as roll my eyes.

The door opens wider and the familiar blonde spikey hair enters the room, the air suddenly becomes hot and his pale orbs pierce through mine.

"Bruno is completely out of it, but I thought you guys should talk." Dante admits and I turn to face away from them both, like a dramatic actress.

The door closes and I feel the gust of wind stroke along my body, I didn't want to see Enzo right now... One because I felt bad and two... Well... Is there really two?

"Hey, Arianna." His voice closes the room and breaks the awkward silence.

"Hey, Enzo." I repeat and begin to make eye-contact with him. His eyes glisten as soon as they lay on mine and a smile began to creep onto his face.

"I'm sorry that things got too far that night. I-I don't know what came over me..." He looks sluggish and totally worn out. I sigh and stare at him as he comes closer and pulls out a chair to sit down next to me.

Reaching for my hand only sent electrical impulses around my body and sent my brain a message to force the goosebumps on my skin.

"But I'm here for you and I heard what happened. So, I'll be here for you... Okay?" I nod and his hand smooths mine, I stare down and find my thigh exposed. I'm in a tiny pair of shorts I must've worn when I was a young teenager.

I notice the bandage wrapped around my thigh, several times to remove any excess blood that may have tried to escape.

"How have you been?" Enzo raises a curious brow at me as he begins to be nosey. I chuckle and look at his dimples appearing either side of his mouth.

"Good, apart from today of course... But I'm worried this will happen again... Because it will..." I add and take a deep breath.

"It will, unfortunately... My father warned me that this would happen." I nod and look around the dimly lit room. The room was full of a chemical smell, off-putting for sure. It almost felt like my lungs wanted to give up on me as I inhaled the horrible scent.

"What are we going to do Enzo?" I sigh and his face looks emotionless. He is no longer happy.

"Fight back I suppose. These Black Eagles have been around for a while now, it's only a matter of time until your family get fed up." And I totally agree with what Enzo is saying, my family have even a lot with this gang. It's only a matter of time until we give in or fight back so much that the whole gang will be demolished.

"I'll be here for you all, through it all..." Enzo's voice turns soft and calm. You can tell how much this all meant to him.

Seeing Arianna like this only made my heart twitch, I didn't like the fact that she had been shot. Especially as she is trying to be strong. Unfortunately, I can see right through her, she's in so much pain and it's only a matter of time before the Black Eagles attack again. This was a warning. A preparation Arianna said. They could attack any when, so the only thing to do is train until they creep up.

I wore my sporting shorts and a vest top, I was thankful Nicolas let me stay a bit longer in the mansion, after all, they needed back up.

I begin to throw punches at the boxing bag, it swung back and forth, it spun side to side and even started to turn. The sweat trails down my forehead and travels to my chin, I can feel how damp my hair was becoming and how the smelt of sweat was oozing from my skin.

An interruption of the door emerged; I held the boxing back tight as I glance at the doorframe to see Dante there with his sporting gear on.

"Is there room for one more?" He asks and I nod, we both take in turns with the punching. It swings back and forth one more time as it now has two barriers to get past. Dante and I.

"How you feeling?" I asked Dante as the sweat began to form on his forehead, he sighs and stood still.

"Not great, unprepared..." He trails off and I nod in agreement and pat him on the shoulder.

"Were all behind one another though, it'll be okay Dante. We just have to be ready." He nods and I continue to hit the boxing bag but receive a glance from Dante.

"Everything okay?" I raise my brow and reality hits him.

"Let's go weapon practice, I think that would be more ideal." He finally spills what's on his mind and I nod in agreement, I didn't mind messing around fighting, after all... This is all for preparation.

We got into the ring and chose our designated weapons. I pick up dual knifes and Dante picked up the same along with a gun in the back of his shorts, with safety on... Of course.

We began to throw a few punches at first which resulted in a few bruises. But nothing we couldn't handle.

He threw his balled-up fist to my face but I manage to cup it and pull it back. We grin at one another as we both pull out a knife. He kicks me to the floor where my back met the coldness of the ground. He jumps on top of me with the knife close to my throat, but when it shows he has won the round he gets up and we begin again, this time my adrenaline kicks in and I'm ready.

I kick the knifes out of his hands and lightly kick him in the leg to ensure he loses his balance, as he bends over, I glide over his back with mine and reach for the gun. I move in front of him hastily and hold the gun up to him. We both chuckle and Dante raises his hands up in the air to show surrender.

"Not too bad Enzo." Dante admits and I nod and add. "You're not too bad yourself Dante." We smile and continue to throw punches at one another until it will get darker and later.
