DELANCY HAS ALWAYS BEEN FASCINATED WITH CAMERAS. Even when she was a child she was reaching for her fathers camera so that she could videotape the moment. Obviously the video would end up blurry as she moved around a bit and the camera was heavy for her little hands but as she grew older her talent became clear to everyone around her. She always took her Sony camera anywhere she went, especially when she was with her friends, so that she could save the raw memories of the time for the future.

That is why she became a cinematography student. She was studying at the nearest college where she met, who she thought of as the funniest person in the building: Joshua Washington. Delancy almost instantly clicked with him and soon enough she was hanging out with his grouo of friends and his sisters. She became a regular at the Blackwood Mountain lodge, and started the tradition of making a little movie after each longer hangout. Delancy always made just a few minutes long short film which showed the summary of the weekends or parties and the insane moments that made everyone laugh.

Following the tragic disappearance of Hannah and Beth Washington, caused by an immature prank pulled by some members of the usual group, Josh dropped out of college. Delancy tried her best to be by his side, in hopes of comforting him the best she could in this situation, but the boy couldn't cope with the loss of his sisters. The entire year that he was hidden away, surrounded with his own grief, he came up with an insane plan which envolved the original group of friends who he thought were responsible for his sisters' deaths. So that's all it took to pick up the phone and call the black haired girl a few towns away.

Delancy agreed to whatever it was that Josh was planning and the two continued to brainstorm for the next two weeks before the date of the party. What neither of them knew was that this prank was not going to be the headline act of the night, as something much more sinister lurked in the woods.
