Stefan woke up coughing, he looked at the water on the table and shivered. He won't be going to the beach for a long time now.

A feeling of bitterness live in his heart, what was his brother doing? Did he even search for him at all?

What about Elena? Was she worried about him? His mind was screaming yes but his heart was screaming no, that she did not care about him while he was drowning in that safe. No one did.

He tried his best to push away all those negative but he couldn't. How could he anyway? He did so much for his brother, so much. Yet what did he receive in exchange? The death of his bestfriends.

Yes, he turned his own elder brother into a vampire and he will accept any blame that people would put on him  but he did it so save his god damn life.

He love his older brother, really,
but sometimes he does not realise everything he did for him. Sometime
Stefan wish that they never met Katherine or that he was not relate to Damon.

Stefan's eyes widened, "Melione." He whispered softly while clenching his fist. He looked down while gritting his teeth. "She was the one who saved me."

"Yes, she did." Startle by the voice, Stefan looked up and saw with Thanatos. "Long time no see, Stefan."

"Death." He muttered. "The one and the only." Thanatos looked at him. "I have a question." Stefan said grimly. "What is it?" Thanatos asked.

"What is my brother and girlfriend doing currently?" Stefan took the small paper box in his hand. "Honest answer?" Thanatos asked and Stefan answered with nodded.

"In a bed currenly whoring each other." Strfan clenched his hand on the box breaking it.

"I had my doubt." He whispered. He did not want to care about the current heartbreak. Someone else was more important currenly.

"And Melione! Where is she?" He asked, Thanatos started at him, he was quick to notice the light in his eyes and that he neglected his pain.

"She is currently taking a nap," He answered. "Where?" Stefan asked.

"Under the maple tress." Stefan quickly stood up while leaning against the door. Thanatos watched him left even though he was still weak, he still did walked there alone without asking for help.

Stefan walked toward the tree and
look around to look for Melione, fortunate she saw the brunette girl laying on the grass while sleeping.

He slowly sat down next to her, he caress her neck slowly near the small tatoo on her neck. Melione move a bit feeling his gentle aura, Melione opened her eyes with a whine.

"Sleepy head." Stefan chuckle as he look at her. "Stef." Melione muttered and smiled brightly. She sit up and looked  at him. "You are awake." She grinned happily.

Stefan frown and smile slightly, he couldn't understand why she would smile so brightly toward him after everything he did.

"Meli." He muttered, Melione looked
at him, "Yes?" Melione answered in confusion. "Forgive me." He looked at her.

"I don't see why would I forgive you? You did nothing wrong." Melione answered with a smile.

"I did. I choose her over you, You did so much for me and I betrayed you in that type of way." Stefan gritted his teeth and clenched his fist.

"Alright then, I forgive you." Melione smile and kiss his cheek. "Thank you."

"No problem, my little crown." Stefan chuckle and hugged Melione tightly. He snuggle closer in her crock neck.

"Why, why forgive so quickly?" He whispered.

"Because I love you. You can choose those dopplegangers over me anytimes and I would still be there for you. You are my light, and I will always allow you to ruin me every single time. As long as you are happy." She muttered lovingly.

"I am always in pain or trouble with them, I never realisite until now but you are the only one who made me truly happy and I am a fool for always hurting you." He slowly started braiding her hair, slowly and gently.

"I will stand by your side, my little ghost." He promise.
