AFLIE GRATTAN NOT TO RENEW ALFA ROMEO CONTRACT AT THE END OF THE SEASON

Formula One star Alfie Grattan has not been offered her seat back at Alfa Romeo for next season.

According to recent sources, Frédéric Vasseur has promised a seat to Antonio Giovinazzi, a Formula Three driver Grattan has had contact with in her years of karting.

Grattan and Giovinazzi have raced together in karting, Formula Three and in 2017, there were rumours around the paddocks that the Italian and the British racers had previously dated, a statement both Grattan and Giovinazzi were quick to shut down.

Frédéric Vasseur has given talked to reporters stating that ;
"Grattan is an amazing driver, she is just not what we are looking for here at Alfa Romeo."

Grattan is yet to make a statement on this yet, but we believe she will release one soon.

Alfie was sat by her bed, her TV playing in the background.

George frowned. "You didn't tell me?" he pouted childishly.

Alfie ran a hand down her face. "Wasn't supposed to tell anyone."

George sighed. "How are you feeling?"

Alfie shrugged. "Alright I guess. Its a kick in the ass. You know especially with him." She said the word with disgust, and George frowned again.

"Yeah I know. But look, this just gives you shot to prove yourself."

Alfie looked at him. "If I tell you this you have to promise not to tell anyone, and I mean anyone."

George nodded rapidly. "Tell me. What's wrong Alf?"

"Cryil called me up the other day to offer me a seat after Fred kicked me out."

George's eyes widened. "What? What did you say?"

"Well he wrote to me first, putting the idea on the table, and then Fred kicked me, so I accepted."

George smiled. Alfie frowned. "What?"

"Renault was better than McLaren last year."

Alfie smiled slightly. "Yeah I know."

"Alfie this is great! I'm really happy for you." George smiled, and then frowned again. "Wait a minute, if there's a seat available who's leaving?"

Alfie winced. She had forgotten about that. "Don't tell anyone?"

"Swear."

"Danny."

George gasped. "What? No! Really?"

"Mhm, I don't know where he's going, just that he's moving."

George blinked. "Wow, didn't expect that."

"Yeah me either." Alfie looked back at George. "So... How's everyone?"

"Good, mum misses you, so does Cara. And my dad actually. You know I'm starting to think they like you more than they do me."

"What? Like me more than you? You're right."

George rolled his eyes. "Very funny Alf."

Alfie shrugged. "It's not my fault your parents love me more than you."

George smiled. "Listen I've got to go but I will speak to you soon alright? "

"Alright love ya!"

What she didn't know was that after the call had ended, George fell back onto his bed, sighing.

"Yeah Alf, I love you too."
