There was a knock on the door and Alfie hopped off her sofa and walked towards it. She opened the door revealing George, who had a serious look on his face. "I know I didn't tell you and I'm sorry but I didn't think I was supposed to say anything to anyone. If I had even told you I knew where I was going I would have ended up telling you everything. I'm sorry but I couldn't trust myself keeping it from you so I didn't bring it up. "

Alfie blinked." You didn't think I was serious did you? "

George frowned at her." What do you mean? "

Alfie let out a small chuckle and threw her arms around his neck, pulling him into a tight hug." George I don't care if you didn't tell me. I'm so proud of you."

George's expression changed into one of pure joy and he snaked his arms around Alfie's waist, hugging her back tightly.

Alfie gave him a squeeze. "You deserve this. After everything you've been through you deserve this. I'm so proud of you George. I love you."

"I love you too Alf. So much."

The pair pulled away from eachother slightly, and Alf leaned in, giving George a kiss. George held her waist, squeezeing it slightly, and Alfie stood on her toes to reach him.

They pulled away when a small cough sounded from the end of the hallway. George looked up and his face dropped. "Oh, Mr. Grattan. Uh- sorry, I just-"

But he was stopped but Henry's hand, which he had been held up. Henry walked towards the pair, and flicked his eyes back and forth between them. He turned to George, and let out a small teasing smile. "Congratulations on the drive George." he said, holding out a hand for George to shake.

George's eyes were still wide with fear as he shook Henry's hand. "Thank you sir."

Henry gave him another smile as they dropped eachothers hands, but his expression turned serious again. "But please don't ever do that infront of me again."

George nodded frantically. "Yes, sorry."

Henry gave him a wink, before walking back down the corridor and out of sight. Alfie held in her laugh as she turned to George. He rolled his eyes at her. "Don't laugh at me."

"I'm not laughing." she said, trying to make her face neutral.

George gave he'd a disapproving look, before smiling. "What to go for a drive?"

"Oh yeah 'cause we never do that. It's not like it's out job or anything." Alfie said, grinning at her own joke.

George rolled his eyes at his girlfriend, but placed and arm over her shoulder. Alfie called out to her father that she was going out, and walked towards the car with George, his arm still around her shoulder.
