—🎸 AFTER GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL (Y/N) decides to start a new chapter in her life – literally. She packs up her belongings and moves to New York City, hoping to find a fresh start with her new job as a fashion designer. She was never one to break the rules and never fit in the popular crowd, not that she cared much—but something was missing in her life, something that excited her to the core.

—🎧 SO, OF COURSE, TO EASE the feeling of missing out, she finds herself stumbling down the streets of Manhattan with her new friends and a dress that is far too short, to attend a concert with a band that she has never heard about it. There, she catches the eye of the lead singer and guitarist and soon she finds out what was missing: Hobie Brown.

—⛓️ OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, (Y/N) and Hobie had become quite close with one another, and eventually the friendship grew into something more. They spent their days exploring the city, getting to know each other better, and some would even say they found out what the word love means between the two of them.

—🎙️BUT THEIR HAPPINESS WAS SHORT LIVED. President Ozzy, a corrupt politician, had declared an all-out war against the super-powered beings in the city. He had threatened to wipe out everyone who went against him, and Hobie, being Spiderman, was one of the main targets. Ozzy watched him, studied him for years, and just when he thought he had nothing to hold against him, there she was.

—⚡️WITH A WAR HAPPENING AND (Y/N) being the main bait, Hobie realizes now what Miles and his sister felt during those moments of rushing to save the one he loves.

lordy, let me say that this is 'kinda' a spin off for set fire to the rain, but since that book is still ongoing, you can read this as a stand alone. no spoilers will appear in this book. this story takes place around the time
hobie would've vanished back to his reality after helping miles in hq.

i had this idea in my head when i was writing and messing around with my friend on discord, we had a plot and it inspired me. this will be updated regularly as well since i have four chapters already done but ill be rewriting them until tonight.
