"Y/N!! WAKE UP!!"

Nami said and Y/N groaned in her sleep. "We are almost at our destination!!"

"Yeah, I'll be there" She spoke in her sleepy voice. Last night was a blast, they had a party on the ship and it was a crazy one. Food, drinks, songs, dance, everything was involved and Y/N had the time of her life.

She rubbed her forehead and got up to sit upright. "Fucking hangover" she muttered and recalled the events which were blurry in her memory because she was mostly drunk throughout the party.

"Y/N, I don't... If... You"

She recalled some words from someone but even those words didn't make sense to her, she closed her eyes and threw herself back on the bed and that was when a scene flashed in her mind and she hurriedly got out of her bed "Wait!! What!?!" She panicked as she ran her fingers through her hair "No no no!! I surely wasn't that drunk to do it! Fuck my life!!" She shouted and Usopp barged into her room.

"What happened?!"

"Oh, nothing"

"You sure?"

"Yeah"

"Alright, freshen up. The island is in sight."

"Yeah I will" She said and took out her clothes from the cupboard and walked towards the bathhouse. On her way she came across Sanji who just walked out of the bathhouse with a towel wrapped around his waist and rubbing his hair with another one. To say she was shocked would be less. The woman was flabbergasted with the view.

"Ah- Y/N. Good... Good morning." He strutted and brought Y/N out of her world. "Oh... Um, yeah. Good morning." She said and hurriedly ran inside the bathroom and shut the door tight as she closed her eyes and rested her head against the door "Fuck!"

"Brook!! You are a great musician!! Keep up the good work!" Y/N shouted and drank away yet another bottle of booze. She usually doesn't drink in an unhealthy amount but Zoro challenged her and that woman is always up for challenges. She was clearly winning but Zoro didn't want to back off like that. Y/N grabbed Zoro's shirt and pulled him a little closer "Come on Zoro~ You are losing."

He glared into her eyes "I'll be the winner by the end to this night." He stated and Y/N let go of him and got up "Let's see then. You are way behind right now. I'll wait for you to catch up honey~" She said and walked over to Luffy, Usopp, Franky and Chopper who were dancing to Brook's music.

Nami and Robin were enjoying themselves on the table, eating and drinking while having a chat while Sanji sat alone keeping his eyes on Y/N. The moment Y/N pulled Zoro closer he almost shattered the wine glass in his hands.

Y/N danced with the group but all Sanji could see was himself dancing with her. He was pretty sure that if he were to join them Y/N would've danced with him too but he didn't want to have a moment with her when she is drunk.

If only she liked him the way he did because seeing her being close to everyone just makes him jealous. He wanted to be hers. Everything about her made him crazy... Yeah that wasn't something new but for her it was different. He wanted know how it felt to be someone's and he wanted that someone to be her and only her.

Y/N seemed to have gotten tired and stopped dancing as she slowly walked off to the women's quarters but her wobbly legs couldn't get her up the stairs. Sanji set down the glass and walked towards her to help and avoid her from falling down the stairs.

"These stairs suck" She complained. Sanji let out a soft laugh and held her hand "Yeah they really do"

"Ooo Sanji~ I didn't see you all night."

"You would've noticed me if you weren't busy with Zoro and the others."

"Ah Zoro! He lost to me, did you see?"

"Yeah I saw, he always loses, nothing new." He said and helped her walk upstairs towards the room that was shared by her, Nami and Robin.

Sanji only had his mind set on helping her with the stairs but Y/N was struggling to open the door too and he couldn't help but sigh. "You shouldn't drink too much" He stated and opened the door for her.

Y/N chuckled and rested her head against his body which tensed his muscles "But it was fun. I just lost my energy otherwise I would still be dancing and drinking."

"Yeah but Y/N, I don't like the the fact you completely ignored me."

"I didn't!!" She rebutted with complete offence. "I saw you sitting alone! I thought you wanted some time alone. So I... I didn't disturb you."

Sanji put one of her arms around his neck and his arm around her waist to help her walk to the bed. She laid down on the bed with her legs hanging. Sanji squatted down and removed her heels keeping them aside and proceeded to put her legs properly on the bed but Y/N got back up.

"You should sleep" he suggested but she ignored his words and stood up. Sanji sighed and got up too. "I want to eat something!" She stated. "Let's eat together!"

Sanji was quick at realising why Y/N insisted on eating together. "Oh no Y/N, I was just kidding. I am not sad or anything about the fact that you ignored me. If I was angry then I wouldn't be helping you here."

Y/N frowned and held both of his hands while stepping a bit closer "I am saying we are going to eat then we are going to! No questions asked!"

"But I am afraid you might not be able to digest properly. You have already had a big meal and lots of drink. You shouldn't eat more."

"Sanji! I am hurt!"

"What? Why?"

She stepped a bit more closer to him which had him frozen in his spot. "I want to spend time with you too! Because! I like you!"

There was a moment to silence as Sanji tried to process everything but before he could do that Y/N pulled him by his collar and placed her lips on his. His brain told him to step back because she was drunk and there were chances that it wasn't her actual feeling but his heart said otherwise... He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her against his body while his other hand was placed on her jawline as he returned the kiss.

He broke the kiss and stepped back with a slight feeling of regret. "Um... Y/N, you should sleep." He said and put her to bed before walking out and going to his room.

Her memory was clear now. She banged her head on the door before she heard a knock and stopped. "Sorry but Y/N, you dropped your top." Sanji said. Y/N quickly looked at the clothes she was holding and opened the door. He handed her the piece of clothing "Um, about last night" he started which made her anxious.

"Oh yeah! It was a really nice party!" She said trying to change the subject because she knew exactly what he was going to say.

"Yeah... It was nice" He said "You sure we're really drunk."

Y/N rubbed the back of her head and smiled "Yeah, I don't remember much of it. I am having a really bad hangover."

"I'll prepare something for you to drink after you freshen up."

"Nami said we were reaching the island. I'll just drink something over there. You don't need to worry about it"

"Oh... Ok then."

And with that she shut the door again. She slapped herself and ruffled her hair with frustration "I must've been out of my mind to kiss him out of the blue!"

"Ah, you are finally here." Nami sighed after seeing Y/N. "All of the others are already on the island to gather supplies. We will be docked here for the night. I am going to check out some furniture stores, do you have something you want to do?"

"I don't think so, I can stay on the ship to look after it."

"Alright then. I'll be back soon ok?"

"Ok"

And with that she was now alone on the ship or atleast that was what she thought because when she entered the kitchen to grab a glass of water she was taken aback after seeing Sanji preparing something.

"You... You didn't go with the others?" She asked while slowly walking towards the fridge. "We already have a lot of food supplies so I didn't think it was important for me to go."

"I see" She mumbled and drank a glass of water.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Better"

"I prepared this soup for you. It will help you with your hangover."

"You didn't have to do it" She said but she was clearly walking towards it because of the delicious aroma. Sanji pulled back a chair for Y/N to sit on and once she was seated, he sat next to her.

"I wanted to talk to you about something" He said and she almost choked on the soup.

"Wh- about what?"

"Y/N, I made a big mistake and I want to apologise. I don't know what had gotten into me, I am really really sorry. I just want you to forgive me."

"For what?"

"I kissed you last night"

Y/N put down the spoon and looked him with an apologetic look "No, Sanji... Actually I should be the one to apologise to you. If I remember well, it was me who took the first step. I am sorry, I was just too drunk to think straight. I overstood my boundaries.  You shouldn't be apologising to me."

"But it was a mistake on my part keeping the fact in mind that I was much more sober than you and yet I carried on with it. Sorry Y/N... I should've been sensible"

"No! It's fine."

"It's fine?"

"Ah- I mean... We can't really do anything about it now. Let's forget about it and move on."

"Yeah, right. There wasn't anything serious involved, so I guess we can forget about it."

Y/N groaned and covered her face with her hands "Fuck!! It shouldn't have been like that!!"

"What happened?" He asked.

Y/N looked at him with determination in her eyes "Sanji! What I said last night was serious! It's been quite some time now."

"Fuck Y/N stop! Things can go wrong" she thought to herself but she couldn't contain her feelings any longer. "It's true that I like you!"

Sanji's eyes widened slightly as he lost his words and looked her. "It shouldn't have been like this! I wanted to tell you but I just couldn't find a nice moment and I wasn't sure about your feelings either."

Sanji was still silent that made Y/N more anxious. She took the risk and told him the truth and if it turned out that he doesn't like her the way she does and they are going to stay awkward for the rest the life they spend in the crew.

"Say something! You can reject me if you want to but just say something, you are making me anxious."

"I- Um- Wh- Sorry."

Y/N felt her heart break but she had to accept the outcome because you can never force someone to love you. She looked down and grabbed the spoon again "It's fine. Let's forget this too and let's move on... I just wanted to bring the weight off my heart."

"What? No, Y/N you got me wrong. I still don't believe this you know. Feels like a dream... I am really happy you know! I just can't process it well."

"So... You feel the same?" She asked and Sanji nodded "YES! For a really long time!!"

There was a burst of happiness inside both of them and they were containing it well. "I like you too" Sanji said while smiling widely.

The two sat quietly on their seats after the unexpected confession thinking what to say next. Y/N drank the soup that Sanji made for her while he sat next to her quietly fiddling with his fingers.

Sanji looked at her and quickly placed a kiss on her cheek which made her chuckle "What was that?" She asked trying not to laugh out loud while Sanji slapped himself and banged his head on the table "I don't know! I just did what my mind told me to!!"

Y/N found it cute and tried her best not to smile much but was failing miserably at it. "Do it again" She said and showed him her cheek but she had other plans because just when Sanji was about to do it again she turned her face and his lips met hers.

Sanji was taken aback and Y/N gave him a fake sad expression "You gave me a nice kiss yesterday, I want to experience it once again in clear senses" She stated and stood up. Sanji felt all sorts of emotions running through his body as he got up on his feet and followed along with Y/N.

She guided his hands to her waist while maintaining eye contact and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him in for a kiss. Sanji tightened the grip on her waist and deepened the kiss "I love you" he mumbled in between. "I love you too Sanji."
