๐•Ž๐”ผ๐”ปโ„•๐”ผ๐•Š๐”ป๐”ธ๐• and Pugsley were in one of the dimly lit rooms of the Addams mansion, hanging a baby doll from a noose. Pugsley held a blowtorch, its blue flame flickering ominously, while both wore protective masks. They were about to ignite the doll when a knock interrupted them. Quickly, they turned off the torch and removed their masks, their expressions shifting from gleeful anticipation to neutral curiosity.

"Children, this is Miss Jellinsky, our new nanny," Morticia announced as she entered the room, Debbie Jellinsky following behind her.

Wednesday's gaze fixed on the new nanny as Morticia prompted, "What do we say?"

Without missing a beat, Wednesday intoned, "Be afraid. Be very afraid." He lifted the torch slightly, emphasizing his point.

Debbie approached them with a sympathetic smile. "Look at you, all cooped up in this house with a new baby. That's not easy, is it?"

Pugsley, shaking his head, replied, "No."

Debbie knelt down to their level, her voice soft and understanding. "Why, I bet sometimes you wish it was still just the two of you." Pugsley nodded earnestly, while Wednesday's gaze shifted briefly to his brother before he added darkly, "Or less." Debbie maintained her reassuring smile. "Well, don't you worry. Everything's going to be just fine." She stood up, turning to face Morticia and Gomez, and whispered, "I love them."

At that moment, Thing scurried up Debbie's shoulder and started bouncing. "Thing, stop that," Morticia chided gently.

Gomez chuckled. "He likes you," he said warmly.

Debbie took one of Thing's fingers and kissed it passionately. Thing froze, then fell limp, his usually energetic self momentarily subdued. Debbie smiled triumphantly. "I'm good with my hands." Morticia returned the smile before looking to Wednesday. "Wednesday, where is Lilith?" Debbie's curiosity was piqued. "Your daughter?"

Morticia's smile deepened with pride. "Future daughter-in-law. She is Wednesday's woman."

Wednesday, placing the blowtorch down, replied, "She had to do her readings, but I think she is painting now." With that, he left the room to find Lilith. As he navigated the shadowy halls of the manor, the flickering candlelight casting eerie shadows on the walls, Wednesday's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Lilith. He found her in their room, surrounded by the soft glow of candles, her concentration focused on a canvas. She was creating a blurred image of a person being electrocuted, the colours vivid and haunting. As she focused on her work, she felt familiar arms encircle her waist, pulling her close to a warm body. His face nestled against her neck, breathing her in.

"Bonjour, mon amour," Lilith greeted with a smile, recognizing the embrace instantly.

Wednesday tightened his hold, his breath hot against her skin. "Cara mia," he whispered, his lips grazing her neck in a series of soft kisses. He held her as if he never wanted to let go.

Just then, the door opened, and Morticia, Gomez, and a new face walked in. "Lilith, this is Miss Jellinsky," Morticia introduced, her voice serene and welcoming. Lilith glanced over at the woman, taking in her short blonde hair and white dress. "Hello," she greeted simply, her voice polite but distant as she returned to her painting.

Debbie walked closer, admiring the artwork. "My, what a lovely painting. I do very much like it," she complimented, her tone cheerful and ingratiating. Lilith nodded, acknowledging the praise, but her focus remained on the canvas. Wednesday, still glued to her back, continued to nuzzle her neck, his presence grounding her.

Gomez and Morticia exchanged a knowing look, their expressions reflecting pride and approval. They understood the deep bond between Lilith and Wednesday, a bond that was unbreakable and profound.

"Lilith," Gomez said, his tone warm, "We just wanted to make sure you met Miss Jellinsky."

"I've met her," Lilith replied, her voice soft yet firm, her attention still on her art.

With that, Morticia and Gomez guided Debbie out of the room, leaving the couple in their intimate moment. Wednesday's arms tightened around Lilith once more, his lips lingering on her neck. "Do you like her?" Wednesday murmured against her skin.

Lilith smiled slightly, her brushstrokes steady and confident. "She seems... interesting."

Wednesday chuckled softly, his breath tickling her neck. "Interesting indeed, ma reine." And with that, they continued to bask in each other's presence, the room filled with the soft glow of candlelight and the quiet hum of contentment.

As night settled over the Addams manor, Morticia led Debbie to her new room, showing her around with graceful elegance. Meanwhile, Lilith sat on her bed, gazing intently at a tarot card. Her brow furrowed slightly, deep in thought.

"Ma rose, what's wrong?" Wednesday asked softly as he sat up beside her, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her close. His presence was comforting, a steady anchor amidst her swirling thoughts.

Lilith sighed, leaning into his embrace. "What did the readings say?" he inquired, his voice gentle but curious.

"The same thing," Lilith replied, her voice tinged with frustration. "I even read them differently, and they all ended up with the same conclusion." Wednesday reached up, tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. "What was it?"

Lilith looked at him, a small smile playing on her lips. "That I am going to have a new volunteer for my new stage."

Wednesday's lips curved into a smile. He kissed her forehead tenderly. "And I'll be right there, front stage."

Lilith's smile widened, and she leaned in to kiss him. "I love you," she whispered against his lips.

"And I adore you," Wednesday replied, his voice filled with sincerity. He paused for a moment, then added, "We will keep an eye on the new nanny. Besides, she was too perky and nice to us." Lilith nodded, her expression thoughtful. "No one is too nice, and if they are, there is something wrong with them."

Wednesday agreed, gently guiding them both to lie down on the bed. He pulled her close, her head resting on his chest. As she settled against him, Lilith looked at the tarot card once more. The Queen of Swords stared back at her, its imagery both sharp and clear. She closed her eyes, seeking solace in the rhythm of Wednesday's heartbeat.

Outside, rain began to pour, a soothing soundtrack to their quiet moment. The card Lilith held was significant: the Queen of Swords, a symbol of quick wit, intellectual prowess, and clear sight. But Lilith had seen the reversed side in her readings: it indicated someone who speaks with a forked tongue. A backstabber. Dishonesty. Unable to control anger. Lack of compassion. Unable to understand someone else's feelings. A hater. Black Widow. The unsettling implications of the reversed card lingered in her mind, but nestled in Wednesday's arms, she felt a semblance of peace.ย

As dawn broke over the Addams manor, a soft, silvery light filtered through the heavy curtains of Wednesday and Lilith's room. The rain from the previous night had ceased, leaving a serene stillness in its wake. Wednesday lay awake, propped up on one elbow, gazing down at Lilith. She was still asleep, her face peaceful and serene, framed by the soft cascade of her dark hair.

He reached out, gently tracing the curve of her cheek with his fingertips, careful not to wake her. His touch was light, reverent, as if he were afraid she might disappear if he pressed too hard. Her steady breaths were a soothing rhythm, and he found himself mesmerized by the rise and fall of her chest. A small smile tugged at his lips as he remembered the first time he had seen her, how she had captivated him instantly with her fierce intelligence and dark beauty. He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, lingering there for a moment to breathe in her familiar scent.

Lilith stirred slightly, her brow furrowing as if she could feel his gaze even in her sleep. She mumbled something unintelligible and snuggled closer to him, her hand finding its way to rest against his chest. Wednesday's heart swelled with a fierce protectiveness and love. He wrapped his arm around her, pulling her even closer, feeling the warmth of her body against his.

As he lay there, he marvelled at how deeply she had become entwined in his life, how she had become his world. He admired the way her lashes fanned out against her cheeks, the delicate curve of her lips, and the subtle smile that played on them even in sleep. His mind wandered to the future they would build together, filled with dark adventures and twisted romance.

Wednesday's thoughts were interrupted as Lilith began to wake, her eyes fluttering open slowly. She looked up at him, her gaze still hazy with sleep but filled with warmth. "Good morning, mon amour," she whispered, her voice a soft murmur.

"Good morning, ma rose," Wednesday replied, his voice low and tender. He leaned down to kiss her gently, savouring the sweetness of the moment.

Lilith stretched, her body arching against his in a way that made his heart race. She nestled back into his embrace, her head resting on his chest. "Did you sleep well?" she asked, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on his skin.

"I did," he replied, his hand stroking her hair. "But watching you sleep was even better." Lilith chuckled softly, the sound like music to his ears. "You always know how to make me feel cherished," she said, looking up at him with adoration. "And you always know how to make me feel alive," Wednesday responded, his eyes locking onto hers. "I love you, Lilith."

"I love you too, Wednesday," she whispered back, her voice filled with emotion. She leaned up to kiss him again, this time with more urgency, as if to seal their bond with the promise of the new day.
