There's no ground when you fall for me

๐”ธ๐•Š night settled over the Addams manor, Fester stood on the roof howling at the full moon, his eerie cries blending with the night. Inside, the atmosphere was just as peculiar and lively. In the living room, Lilith sat engrossed in her painting, her brush strokes guided by the haunting melody Lurch played on the organ piano. Nearby, Gomez was engaged in a fierce arm-wrestling match with Thing, while Morticia calmly knitted, her serene demeanour contrasting with the chaos around her.

Lilith couldn't help but smile and chuckle to herself as she thought about Wednesday. He was outside with Pugsley and Grandma, engaged in their latest macabre activity: burying a kitten alive. The Addams family, as always, found joy in their unconventional hobbies.

Gomez and Thing continued their intense arm-wrestling match, both determined to win. With a final burst of strength, Gomez triumphed, and Thing slammed the table in defeat. "Good show, old man," Gomez said, shaking hands with Thing in a gesture of camaraderie.

Morticia, placing her knitting down, called out to Gomez. "Gomez."

He turned to her, his expression softening. "Cara mia?"

Morticia's smile was calm and serene. "Marvelous news. I'm going to have a baby... right now." Lilith, in shock, dropped her paintbrush and immediately ran outside to find Wednesday.ย

Thing burst through the hospital door as nurses and the doctor rolled Morticia down the hallway with Gomez by her side. "Nurse, how close are the contractions?" the doctor asked. "Every 25 seconds, Doctor," the nurse replied. Gomez held Morticia's hand, looking at her lovingly. "Are you in unbearable pain? Is it inhuman? My darling, is it torture?"

Morticia smiled and smirked, "Oui."

Gomez gazed at her passionately and kissed her hand.

In the waiting room, Lilith sat next to Wednesday, his arm wrapped around her waist, while Pugsley sat beside them. They listened as a girl explained how she thought babies were born. "And then Mommy kissed Daddy, and the angel told the stork, and the stork flew down from heaven and left a diamond under a leaf in the cabbage patch, and the diamond turned into a baby." She smiled brightly. Pugsley responded, "Our parents are having a baby, too." Wednesday looked at her and said in a nonchalant tone, "They had sex."

Lilith covered her mouth to stifle her laughter. Wednesday smiled at Lilith and kissed her neck, his eyes trailing down to her legs, which bore burn marks hidden by black stockings. Despite the concealment, Wednesday still felt the guilt of not being there to protect her. He lifted Lilith to sit on his lap and buried his face in her neck, wrapping his arms around her tightly.

"Mon amour?" Lilith spoke, looking at Wednesday.

He simply squeezed her a bit tighter in response. Lilith smiled a little and looked at him with sympathy before she kissed his head and held his hands, offering silent comfort and love.

As moments went by, Lilith and Wednesday were playfully debating the baby's gender. "It's a boy," Wednesday declared confidently. Lilith smiled and countered, "It's a girl." Suddenly, the door burst open, catching everyone's attention. Fester and Grandma stood up, eager for news. "Gomez!" Fester called out.

Grandma, her voice brimming with joy and suspense, asked, "What news?"

Wednesday looked at his father, still holding Lilith close. "Father, what is it?" he asked.

Gomez stood there, his eyes glistening with tears of joy. He looked at his family and proclaimed, "It's an Addams!"

As they were back at the manor, Gomez took Morticia to the new nursery room for their baby boy, who adorably sported a little moustache. Lilith had helped paint the walls, adding a touch of her own creativity to the room. Later, Lilith sat on the staircase with the two Addams brothers, who were sawing the railings with their knives. "That's not true," Lilith said.

Wednesday placed his hand on her knee while still cutting the railings. "It is so, ma reine. Everyone knows it. When you have a new baby, one of the other children has to die."

Lilith shook her head in disbelief. "Really?"

Pugsley looked up, intrigued. "Really?"

Wednesday nodded, letting Lilith draw shapes on his hand with her finger. "It's a tradition. One of us has to go." Pugsley paused his cutting and looked at his brother with wide eyes. "Which one?" Wednesday stopped cutting and spoke calmly, "Well, they only need one youngest boy, and since I'm the eldest with a queen by my side..." He trailed off, smirking.

Pugsley's eyes widened in realization, and he quickened his pace of cutting. Lilith rolled her eyes before placing a gentle kiss on the palm of Wednesday's hand, eliciting a rare, soft smile from him.

Lilith was in the nursery room with the family, except for the two brothers. She looked at the baby with awe, her eyes sparkling with affection. Gomez, beaming with pride, spoke, "He has my father's eyes."

Lilith chuckled softly before Morticia added, "Gomez, take those out of his mouth."

Gomez quickly reached and gently removed the eyes from the baby's mouth. Fester cooed at the baby, "Coochie-coo!" The baby giggled in response, captivating everyone in the room. Meanwhile, Wednesday and Pugsley stood unnoticed by the door, observing the scene. Grandma, full of joy, spoke, "A baby in the house. It's about time. Hey, kiddo." Just then, a burst of fire startled everyone as a flaming arrow shot into the ceiling. Morticia turned to Gomez, her voice and eyes filled with pride. "Did you see that?"

Lilith smiled and looked down at the baby. "He's a very special baby and quite adorable." She tickled his tummy, and the baby laughed, the sound filling the room with warmth.

However, in the doorway, Wednesday's eye twitched. He snapped a doll's head off, feeling a pang of jealousy as he watched Lilith gush over the baby. Though he would never admit it, the attention she lavished on the baby made him envious. As he glared at the innocent infant, a thought crossed his mind: the baby would have to go.

As night fell, Lilith was in her and Wednesday's room, finding solace in his presence. She was painting new tarot cards, her brush strokes steady and deliberate. Meanwhile, Wednesday and Pugsley were on the roof, their dark silhouettes illuminated by the moonlight. Pugsley held a cannonball, while Wednesday cradled the baby in his arms.

"Pugsley, the baby weighs 10 pounds. The cannonball weighs 20 pounds. Which will hit the stone walkway first?" Wednesday asked, his voice a mix of curiosity and intent.

Pugsley furrowed his brow. "I'm still on fractions."

Wednesday pressed on, "Which do you think?"

Pugsley pondered for a moment before answering, "Very good. But which one will bounce?" Pugsley glanced at the baby, then back at his brother. "The baby?" Wednesday smirked, appreciating his brother's logic. "There's only one way to find out. Ready?"

They extended their arms, each holding their respective objects. With synchronized voices, they began to count down, "One, two, three."

At three, they released their grips. The cannonball plummeted toward the stone walkway, but just as the baby began to fall, Gomez deftly caught him. The cannonball, meanwhile, landed squarely on Lurch's head. Unperturbed, Lurch continued watering the plants, unaffected by the impact. Inside the room, Lilith, oblivious to the rooftop antics, added the final touches to her tarot cards. The serenity of her artistic pursuit contrasted starkly with the macabre experiments unfolding outside, highlighting the unique balance of chaos and calm within the Addams family.

"Children, why do you hate the baby?" Gomez asked, as he and Morticia, who held the baby, sat on the couch across from the boys and Lilith. Lilith shot Wednesday an unamused look. "We don't hate him. We just want to play with him," Pugsley replied with an innocent smile. "Especially his head," Wednesday added. Lilith smacked his arm and shot him a stern look, making Wednesday look down before glancing at his parents as his father spoke again. "Children, do you think we love the baby more than we love you?" Gomez inquired.

Without hesitation, Wednesday and Pugsley responded in unison, "Yes."

Morticia, with her calm tone, asked, "Do you think that when a new baby arrives, one of the other children has to die?"

Again, without hesitation, the boys answered, "Yes."

Lilith placed her hand on Wednesday's shoulder. Grandma, who was knitting, spoke in a disappointed tone, "Well, that's just not true. Not anymore." "It's just sibling rivalry," Fester interjected, looking at Gomez. "Gomez, do you remember what we were like?" He walked up to Gomez and sat on the armrest of the couch. "I hated you!"

Gomez smiled, "I despised you."

Fester chuckled, facing the children. "I choked him until he lost consciousness and had to put on a respirator." Gomez added with a smile, "I tied him to a tree and pulled out four of his permanent teeth."

"When he was asleep, I opened his skull and removed his brains," Fester declared. Gomez looked at Fester in disbelief and shock, "You did?" Fester laughed maniacally before standing up and exclaiming, "Brother!" Gomez stood up as well, "Brother!"

Gomez flipped Fester upside down, slamming him into the wall before throwing daggers that pierced the wall around Fester's frame. Fester laughed heartily, his voice echoing through the room. "Children, you see?," he said, still hanging upside down and chuckling.
