Β [TWO YEARS AFTER
THE BATTLE OF HOGWARTS]
Β THE STREETS OF Lust were cast crimson beneath the blaring lights of The Lust District. Life spilled from every bar and club to infect the streets, bodies barely stumbling their way home, intoxicated by another nights poison.
Β Seven lingered in the alleyway, just out of sight, staring at every frightened face painted on the brick wall beside her. Each poster screamed the word 'wanted' inked in thick black letters, along with a name. They had crossed out the names and faces of the rebels who had already been found and in most cases executed.
Β Her eyes focused in on the boy she needed to find next and breathed a sigh of relief to see that his face had not yet been crossed out. He was still alive, for now.
Β His face seemed frustratingly familiar to her, as if she had known him long ago, somewhere so far removed from this barren wasteland they had since been bound to.
Β After the war the people had been divided into seven factions, each as controlled and guarded as the last, each ruled by a leader appointed by The Dark Lord himself.
Β 'Peace-Keepers' patrolled the streets, but most just called them Crawlers, for they were just as corrupt as the rest of them and their presence almost never meant peace.
βSeven had once watched a couple of Crawlers kill a child before it's mother, just for the petty crime of stealing an apple. These people were starving, everybody was, so who could've blamed a child hardly old enough to walk for stealing food?
She still saw his body fall every time she closed her eyes, βstill saw the flash of wicked green light as the killing curse struck him square in the chest and he fell before his mother's feet, dead.
The Crawlers were easy to spot, with their long black cloaks, hoods pulled up over ivory masks used to conceal their identities. βIt was The Snatchers you really had to watch out for. They hid openly in bars, streets, anywhere and everywhere, dressed to blend in but always on the lookout, listening into conversations for rebels and sympathisers alike.
Β One of the wanted posters that had been recently crossed out caught Seven's eye, a blood red line slashing across the girl's face, tears streaked her cheeks.

Β Now that was all that remained of the girl, a defaced poster in an alleyway. She was stuck that way for forever, like a broken record her tears would fall only to repeat again a second later.
Β Without warning, something strange overcame Seven and she found herself tearing the poster from the wall along with that of the boy she was to find, and stuffing them both unceremoniously into her purse before emerging from the alley way.
