It didn't work.
"Draco!" Auntie Narcissa called.
"Sorry, Syb," Draco said a little pale.
I sighed.
"Hey, it's alright," Draco said as he patted my shoulder.
"Yeah," I said.
We both ran to Auntie Narcissa's voice.
"Are you sure you're okay?" asked Draco in a little voice.
I nodded.
"See you later, Lucius," said Father as he shook Uncle Lucius's hand.
"Bye, Cissy," Mother said as she hugged Auntie Narcissa.
"Bye Mel," said Auntie Narcissa, Uncle Lucius, and Draco as they hugged Amber and shook her hand.
"Bye Syb," said Auntie Narcissa, Uncle Lucius, and Draco as they hugged me.
"Bye!" I said as we waved goodbye.
"Did you come by brooms or Floo Powder or Apparition?" asked Amber.
"Brooms," said Draco.
"See you later, Co," I said.
The Malfoys also had Nimbus 2000s. Draco hopped on his broom.
"See you tomorrow at Diagon Alley!" he called.
"Oh we're going to Knockturn Alley and then Diagon," said Father.
"Right. Draco, I forgot to tell you," said Uncle Lucius.
"Is it good?" Draco and I asked at the same time.
"Oh it's for Slytherins all right," said Father. "Like we are."
That night, I couldn't sleep. I kept turning and twisting. I remembered Great-Auntie Walburga and Great-Uncle Orion and every Black. I remembered that if I wasn't in Slytherin, I'd get burned off the family tree like Auntie Andromeda. She got burned because she married the Muggle called Ted Tonks. No one in my family speaks of her. I would like to meet her one day though. I'd like to say that she was one of the bravest people I know. She married a Muggle! A Muggle! A Muggle! I was speechless after hearing what Kreacher had said about Auntie Andromeda's story. I kept remembering Uncle Regulus. He was one of my most favorite people. He understood my problems. Well, most of them. He never understood why I was not going to be in Slytherin. I wish I could've met Uncle Sirius. He was a Gryffindor. He would have understood. I almost had tears in my eyes.
"Are you crying?" a voice asked. I jumped and looked to see my door open with Amber and her wand.
"What?" I asked as I looked at Amber determined.
"You were crying," Amber said.
"No, I wasn't," I said sharply.
"Right," said Amber snickering.
"Shut up, Amber," I said an urge to use an Unforgivable Curse on her.
"Okay," said Amber. "I'll just tell Mum."
"AMBER!" I shrieked.
"Shut up, Mum and Dad are sleeping," Amber said. She left the room closing the door.

"Knockturn Alley," I read the sign.
"Are Mother and Auntie Melanie making sweets?" Draco asked Father and Uncle Lucius.
"Yes," I said. "I heard Mother's cookbook flipping."
"Oh," said Draco.
"Um, Father?" I asked.
"Yes?" Father said as we went by shops.
"Why is it so- dark?" I asked.
"It's for Dark Arts, m'dear," a woman passing by said.
"Ah, yes," Father said.
"Hello, Alflincka," Uncle Lucius and Father said.
"Oh," I said.
We were suddenly stopped by two people.
"Ahhhhh, Tom," one of them said.
"Lucius," the other said.
"Auntie Alecto? Uncle Amycus?" I asked in a confused voice.
"There you are, Sybill! Don't disappoint us, Draco and Sybill. Be a Slytherin at Hogwarts and heart!" they both said as they Disapparated.
"Wow," I said.
"Dear," said another woman passing by.
Draco sped up ahead. "This. Place. Is. Awesome!" He exclaimed.
Father and Uncle Lucius smiled contentedly.
"Syb, what about you?" Father asked.
"It's great," I lied.
But I wasn't looking where I was going and I bumped into a man.
"Sorry, Mr-" I started before I realized who it is. "Uncle Theo?" I asked incredulously.
"Syb?" Uncle Theo replied.
"Theo?" I heard Father ask.
"Tom," Uncle Theo said turning to him.
"I thought you were off sick," Father replied.
I looked past him to see his son, Theodore Nott Jr.
"Hi Theo," I said to him.
"Hi Syb," Theo replied. "Hi Co."
Draco and Uncle Lucius were staring at Uncle Theo.
"Erm, Father?" I asked after Father and UNcle Theo shook hands. "Mind if we - I mean Draco, me and Theo - explore Knockturn Alley?"
Father nodded. "Me, Lucius and Theo have some catching up to do. Run along now," Father replied.
I grabbed Draco and Theo's hands before they could say anything else and lead them toward a shop called Borgin and Burkes. There were only three people in the store. Two men who were talking - I was thinking Mr.Borgin and Mr.Burkes - and a pale woman who didn't even notice we came in.
"What's up?" Draco asked in a confused voice.
"Did you hear everyone?" I said in a whisper.
"Who do you mean by everyone, Syb?" Theo asked.
"I mean Auntie Alecto and UNcle Amycus and everyone else! They're pushing us to be in Slytherin!" I said.
"So?" Theo replied as Draco slapped his hand on his forehead.
"She's not a Slytherin, she's worried about that," Draco whispered.
"Look, Syb," said Theo as he sighed and put his arm around my shoulder. "You're fine."
"I hope so," I said.
We were at Madam Malkin's robes shop. I was choosing out my robes when I heard Draco speaking to a boy.
"Draco! Come on!" I called.
"Coming!" I heard Draco call back.
He came in.
"Who were you speaking to?" I asked.
"A guy," Draco replied.
"I know that!" I said. "You don't talk to girls. And neither do girls talk to you."
But I guess I was wrong because then I saw a couple of girls murmuring and giggling and looking at Draco and Theo.
"Hey, Pansy!" I called to a pug-faced girl.
"Hi Draco," Pansy said instead. "Hi, Theodore."
"You say hi to Sybill before you say that to me. She asked you first you understand?" Theo and Draco said in a warning voice as they slowly went to Pansy.
"Forget it!" I exclaimed as I grabbed both of their hands. "Will you both be a little less protective?" I asked them in a whisper.
"You're our cousin!" they both whispered back.
"So?" I asked them. "Guys, seriously, shut up."
Draco and Theo groaned.
"Fine."
"Alright."
"We have a surprise for you," boomed Uncle Lucius as we went back to Knockturn Alley. "Really?" I asked.
"Yes!" Uncle Theo said.
"We're going to Auntie Walburga and Uncle Orion's house!" Father said.
"Really?" Draco and Theo exclaimed.
"Is Amber coming?" I asked.
"Amber will later," said Father impatiently.
"What about Kreacher?" I asked even though Father wanted me to behave properly.
"Yes," said Uncle Theo patting Father.
"Alright then," I said.
Great-Auntie Walburga and Great-Uncle Orion aren't my favorite people in the world, but I like Kreacher, their house-elf, and Uncle Regulus. Well, what's remained of Uncle Regulus. I talk to his portrait.
"Are you coming, Syb?" I heard Draco call. I looked up to see Draco and Theo waiting for me and Father, Uncle Lucius, and Uncle Theo were gone.
"Where are Father, Uncle Lucius, and Uncle Theo?" I asked as I climbed up.
"They just left. They're waiting for us," Theo called confused.
"Are-are you alright, Syb?" Draco asked. "You seem awfully quiet these days."
I nodded. "I'm fine," I lied.
"You're not," said Draco.
"How do you know?" I snapped at him.
"Why are you touching your charm bracelet then?" Draco argued.
I looked down at the charm bracelet I always touched.
"I won't be in Slytherin, I know it," I whispered.
"You'll learn from Great-Auntie Walburga and Great-Uncle Orion then," Theo said.
