Prologue

A LONG TIME AGO, IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY...

It all begins with Daphne Starling, a girl born in Alderaan, who crossed paths with the one and only Sheev Palpatine. Both being relatively young at that time, the girl was easily fooled by Palpatine's mischievous charm, and ended up giving birth to her only daughter, Neveah Starling.

In the time she was pregnant, she slowly discovered the man's darkest secrets and decided to run away from him and, at the same time, from her Jedi life, all to make sure her daughter lives a good and happy life, away from that horrible man.

Years passed by, and Neve turned 10 years old. The girl has been trained by her mother, who was also a skilled Jedi, to use the force, but not to use a lightsaber. She never really understood why, but she trusted her mother enough not to question her. In all that time, she had grown to understand the force, and even control it well enough for a 10-year-old.

Now, the only thing that could disturb the peace in their life was her father and his desire to control the little girl, to turn her into his very own puppet. Daphne was determined not to let that monster near her beloved daughter, so she did everything in her power to keep her hidden, including teaching her how to control the force so Palpatine could not sense her strength and find her.

The mother was certain Neveah was destined for something big ever since she figured out how superior her skills and abilities were from other kids her age, but that was not the life she wanted for her.

She wanted her daughter to grow up away from the Jedi life and she thought, that by keeping her from understanding all her power, she could prevent the pain and suffering she foreseed in her future, but, unfortunately, she was wrong.

And that is how the real story begins...
