Lee Chaerin (BigHit // A): *reads the options* I choose song #2.

Park Jimin (National Rep): Okay, go ahead and read the clue about it for us.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // A): This song has a girl crush concept, but it also is more mature and sexy. It has a balance between rap and vocals, but also requires members be strong in dance. It is from an older, but well known group's recent comeback.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // A): I tried to act really cool and confident when I was talking to Park Jimin.... but I mean it's Park Jimin and I was actually dying on the inside the whole time. My inner fangirl was screeching, but I had to act cool because he was there and there were so many cameras on me!

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // A): This person is  very cheerful and her dance skills are amazing, she's very nice to work with and I would like to work with her again.... my first choice will be Athena Park.

Athena stands with a smile and makes her way beside Chaerin.

Jung Yena (JYP // C): *whispers* Wow.... she's building an avengers team....

Hwang Hayun (IND // C): *whispers* I can't believe she chose her... oh who am I kidding, pretty people always pick each other.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // A): She's the best best rapper here and has done a lot to show it and with a half rap based song, I hope she will be able to show her talents of rapping, my second choice will be Lee Suran.

Suran gives Chowon a high five before going to stand beside Athena.

Lee Somin (IND // A): So far Chaerin has chosen Athena and Suran... the best dancer and rapper... it's obvious that they're the team to beat... but who could? Both of them are so popular there's no way anyone could....

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // C): Why didn't she choose anyone from C class? Does she just think we're awful and not good enough? Even though we don't know each other... it still kind of hurts that she didn't consider us because of a stupid letter grade.

Park Jimin (National Rep): Let's choose our second group! *he pulls the first name out of the bowl* Bae Chowon!

Bae Chowon (IND // B): Yes! *she comes to the front and accepts the list of songs from Park Jimin* I choose... song #3. *she reads the clue to the group* This song has a tropical, youthful feel to it. It is an underrated group's debut song, and requires strong team work and dance abilities. Dynamic expressions and flair will make this performance stand out from the rest. This performance requires 5 members.

Park Jimin (National Rep): Great choice... who is your first pick?

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // C): A dance focused song with a tropical concept... sounds perfect. I won't get picked though~ this C stops any chance of that.

Bae Chowon (IND // B): This person has a great visual and I love her dancing skills so much. My first choice is Lee Somin!

Somin comes down from her position in class A and joins Chowon.

Lee Somin (IND // A): Thank you so much! I promise I won't let you down!

Bae Chowon (IND // B): It's simple why I'm choosing her, she is perfect in every angle and she would just give off a great vibe to the audience. My second pick is Bae Sooyoung.

Kang Hyunjin (SM // B): Wah... Sooyoung is so pretty, no wonder Chowon picked her... but of course, I'm prettier. I wasn't called"SM's Princess" for no reason.

Sooyoung, the first C class trainee to be chosen excitedly comes to stand beside Somin.

Kim Herin (BigHit // C): Seeing Sooyoung be chosen was really excited, because that meant Chowon wasn't just considering letter grades. I think it gave all of us a bit of hope that we wouldn't all be left for the last group.

Bae Chowon (IND // B): For my third pick... Jung Yena, because she is a good dancer and I think she'll suit this concept well.

Yena, extremely excited at being chosen, looks to be about to give Hayun a hug. Hayun shakes her head and gives the excited girl a fist bump and a pat on the head to tell her to go to the front.

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // B): I was a bit confused with Chowon's strategy... there were plenty of A class and even B class trainees, but so far she's chosen 2 C class trainees and 1 from A. Of course, they are all visuals... she does know this is a performing challenge... right?

Bae Chowon (IND // B): And for my last choice... Kim Herin! She is an excellent rapper and also will suit this concept well.

Bae Chowon (IND // B): What was my strategy? Honestly... didn't really have one. I saw tropical concept and picked all the trainees that I thought would suit the concept... but there might be a slight problem that I've now realized... most of us are rappers... so I really hope this song has rap parts...

Charlotte lets out a yelp of excitement and runs down to the front. She reads the songs quickly and smiles before confidently announcing the song she'll choose.

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // B): Because we'll be number one, I'm choosing song number one! *reading* This is a dance and rap focused song with a bright sound and a line distribution that requires a strong center. It has a girl crush concept and is from a well known group. This song requires four members.

Park Jimin (National Rep): Confidence! I like it... your first choice?

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // B): Of course I have to choose my label mate and one of the best rappers I know... Roh Yulhee!

Yulhee happily comes down to stand beside Charlotte.

Shin Eunjin (IND // A): I'll be honest... it hurt a little bit not to be chosen. I worked hard to get into A class, but was still passed over... almost all the C class girls were picked, but Misae and I are still standing up here. I hope we're together though, she's really talented and her accent is adorable!

Park Jimin (National Rep): Since there's only one team left, I'll just go ahead and announce the members. From class A, Misae Nakamura and Shin Eunjin. From class B, Park Sunhi and Kang Hyunjin, and in C class Kwon Hayun and Kwon Choonchee. Miss Misae, would you like to read the clue?

Jung Yena (JYP // C): I'm going to be completely honest... I've never heard of this song. As soon as Chowon said it... my heart just dropped, all i could hope was that at least one of us would know it... or else the next week we'll be practicing until curfew every night.

All the girls seem pretty excited about the song except Hayun, who looks a bit nervous.

Hwang Hayun (IND // C): Of course i got the song with the cute concept... first the pink outfits and now this? I guess i just can't catch a break.

The teams make their way to various spots around the room to begin their discussions, but it seems like some teams are more successful than others.

??? (??? // ???): We should decide our positions first!

??? (??? // ???): I had a couple ideas... how about this?

??? (??? // ???): Why did you give me a vocal position? I'm a dancer...

??? (??? // ???): So who wants to be the rapper?

??? (??? // ???): I think i'm the only one so, i'll take it.

??? (??? // ???): What about main vocalist?

Three of the six hands go up.

??? (??? // ???): Okay... this might be a slight problem....

??? (??? // ???): I think i'd like to take **** part, i think i can do it well!

??? (??? // ???): Well, i would really like a dance part... and the other position doesn't really have any dance sections.

??? (??? // ???): Maybe we could give **** a chance?  You've had a lot of dance parts already... i think everyone knows you can dance.

??? (??? // ???): I REALLY want a dance part.

But, it wouldn't be a competition without it's wins, losses, and wrenches thrown in every now and then. And it's only the first day of rehearsals... perhaps things will improve by the time they have to perform for the mentors.
