after the elimination, the trainees are send back to their rehearsal rooms where they'll have to make a difficult decision: which trainee should leave their team.

Park Athena (PLEDIS // 3): I feel like this is such a tough choice because we all suit this concept...

Choi Seohyun (IND // 2): I wish we could just all stay on this team. We've already been through one elimination today.

One at a time, each girl is pulled out to cast their vote.

??? (Staff Member): We'll just block out the name then.

??? (??? // ???): Seems kind of counterproductive but okay. I'm voting for her because i would really like a dance position, and right now there are too many dancers on the team. i'm sorry... i hope she doesn't hate me after this.

After everyone has voted, a staff member produces the list of trainees, ordered by who received the most to least votes. Papers cover the names. They call up Athena to read the names.

Park Athena (PLEDIS // 3): Gosh... why me? *she pulls the first paper* Hwang Hayun.

Hwang Hayun (IND // 12): *lets out a breath of relief* Ah, thank you.

Park Athena (PLEDIS // 3): *she pulls of the next strip of paper* ...Kim Sora

Kim Sora (JYP // 6): *nodding, but still nervous* Good. I mean~ thanks!

Park Athena (PLEDIS // 3): Next is... *she pulls off the paper* Me. Thank goodness.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 13): So that just leaves me or Seohyun...

[ INTERVIEW ]

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 13): Its probably me... i mean, they don't need another vocalist and i probably won't be able to rap well enough.

Park Athena (PLEDIS // 3): *she pulls off the last papers* staying is Zhang a Weilan... leaving is Choi Seohyun.

The trainees seem surprised at this outcome.

The staff calls each member up to vote.

Kang Hyunjin (SM // 5): *fist pumps and exclaims loudly* Yes! Oh... sorry...

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 15): So it was between Li Mei and I... last week i would have been confident... but my rank is so low that it could go either way...

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 9): *closes her eyes as she removes the final two papers* I'm scared... what does it say?

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 15): *holding back tears* I just knew it... I don't think i'll be able to do well on either other team.

The girls all wrap Choonchee in a tight hug before the staff usher her from the room.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): Whatever happens... i want you all to know it was really nice working with you all.

Lee Suran (CUBE // 7): Geez, you don't have to be so serious Chaerin, it's not like one of us is getting eliminated permanently or anything.

Shin Eunjin (IND // 4): I mean the results of this vote could directly effect someone's ability to survive if they don't suit the new concept.

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // 8): Yah... stop, you guys are stressing me out.

One by one the trainees all go to vote for who will leave their group.

??? (??? // ???): Honestly, she's just too cute for this concept. I think she'd do better on another team.

She makes her way nervously to the front.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): I was really surprised when it was between me or Herin for who would be leaving... I guess I got too far ahead of myself... i really want to be on this team... but if i get kicked out i'm hoping for dumb dumb. there's some really strong people on that team.

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // 8): The last two... *she pulls the paper off at the same time* Lee Chaerin, then Kim Herin.

Kim Herin (BigHit // 14): I don't know what i expected. Even when we were trainees together she would always beat me.

[ IN THE MAIN HALL ]

??? (Staff Member): Once the other trainees arrive, we'll give you your new teams.

Choi Seohyun (IND // 2): I see...

Loud footsteps can be heard as someone runs down the hall.

Kim Herin (BigHit // 14): Am i in the right place? Seohyun, what are you doing here?

Choi Seohyun (IND // 2): Same as you I guess... waiting to get my new team.

Kim Herin (BigHit // 14): Wait no way... they really kicked you out?

Choi Seohyun (IND // 2): Yeah, I guess there were just too many dancers.

The third trainee arrives, Choonchee joining the two girls.

??? (Staff Member): To decide your new team, we'll play rock paper scissors. The winner gets to choose, the other two go to the team that isn't theirs.

The three girls play and Choonchee wins.

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 15): Yes! I choose team Dumb Dumb.

Kim Herin (BigHit // 14): I guess that leaves me with Summer Dream.

Choi Seohyun (IND // 2): And me on team Get It.

Kim Herin (BigHit // 14): Good luck with that... they're kind of ruthless... but in a good way.

Park Athena (PLEDIS // 3): We did what we had to do. It's not like we had much of a choice.

The conversation is interrupted by a knock on the door.

Kim Sora (JYP // 6): I didn't say it aloud, but it seemed kind of pointless for Seohyun to leave and be replaced by Choonchee considering they have mostly the same skills. but oh well... she's pretty and a good dancer so i'm not worried!

To their surprise, Herin enters with a squeak from the door. She bows her head shyly.

Bae Chowon (IND // 11): I was a bit surprised to see Herin at first, but then i realized that she came from Team Get It, where everyone was at least two or three years older than her.

Kim Herin (BigHit // 14): Of course... i promise to put in as much as i can to catch up to all of you.

Choi Seohyun (IND // 2): *pushing open the door, trying to put on a brave face, though it's clear she's been crying* Bonjour everyone.

Choi Seohyun (IND // 2): I mean not really, but what can you do?

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): Honestly it was kind of dumb move on their part to kick you out... but we're happy to have you here. We don't even have a main dancer anyway!

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // 8): I think you'll fit in quite nicely on this team.

[ ALMOST A WEEK LATER ]

Park Jimin (National Rep): This is it... the trainee's last chance to perform before the finale elimination. They've been hard at work practicing and preparing their new member for the performance. But today's the day... national producers... are you ready?

The camera pans to the audience where there are thousands of fans cheer, flashing banners and phones to support their favorite trainees.

Park Jimin (National Rep): Sounds like they're ready to me... let's bring our the first group!
