May 11th 1536

Margaret hoped and prayed Henry would not sign her brothers or sisters death warrants. He had sworn he wouldn't, but then again he wanted Anne gone. He wanted out of yet another son-less marriage.

Margaret had heard everything he had done to the late dowager princess.......Catherine didn't even get to see her own daughter.

Margaret couldn't lie......she feared the same fate for herself. If she were exiled she wouldn't be allowed near her son or niece. She wouldn't be able to make sure her siblings got out the tower.

But if it came to it she'd flee to France not by herself but with her son. But she'd have to be careful, if she was caught it would be the highest of treason and unlike her siblings she wouldn't be sent to the towers, her head would end up on a stick.

"Your majesty"

Henry looked up at the man who dared to interrupt him "Cromwell, what is it"

"The lady Bryan has arrived with the young prince"

Henry sighs, realising he had forgotten to write to keep his son at Hatfield. The plans for the boy's birthday were cancelled the day he had Margaret confined.

He had to keep his only living son safe for now.

"Your majesty, do you wish for me to send the Lady Bryan back to Hatfield"

Henry shakes his head as he stands up."On contrary I want you to send for the Lady Margaret"

"Are you sure that is wise of your majesty"

Henry hesitates to answer but then again perhaps allowing Margaret to see there son could keep her sweet.

Keep her thinking of trying to leave or say anything of Anne again.

"She is my boys mother, she shall spend the day with him"

Cromwell nods as he leaves whatever the king had planned was nothing to do with him. At least not yet.

Margaret saw the way other nobles looked at her as she roamed around the castle. She knew what they thought of her and her family.

Yet everything they were accused of was false, Anne would never betray Henry as he did to her. George and Anne would never do that with one another.

And then there was the fact that people were whispering about her niece's birth.

If anything were to happen to Anne then Elizabeth would be alone, perhaps claimed to be a bastard as Mary had been.

Margaret was stuck in her own world, in her own bad thoughts since the day her sister had been taken to the tower. And there was no escaping, there was nothing to look forward to.

But then again there was.

"Lady Margaret" She heard someone speak as she was snapped out her thoughts for now.

Margaret looked at the man in front of her, another man she could no longer trust "Ser Thomas"

Cromwell looked at her then replied "Lady Margaret the king wishes for you to spend the day with the prince"

"He does" Margaret furrows her brows "And just why would i be allowed to leave to Hatfield"

"You aren't my lady, the prince is here"

"Where"

"I shall take you to him my lady, if you treat his majesty with respect"

Margaret does not hesitate to obey for once. She would do anything to see her son.

Margaret couldn't help but smile for the first time in days as she saw her son.

"Lady Margaret" Lady Bryan greeted the girl as she took her son into her arms "I must remind you the young prince is not to leave these rooms"

Margaret didn't answer as she pressed a kiss to her son's forehead, it had been so long since she had seen him. And she couldn't bear the thought of being away from him again.

Which just made her want to take him and flee even more.

Margaret smiled softly as she turned to lady Bryan "Lady Bryan may i ask something"

"Of course my lady"

"How is the young princess Elizabeth"

Margaret watched as Lady Bryan looked at the ground like she was lost for words.

"The princess is well is she not?"

"The lady Mary has been attending to the princess as much as any of us"

"You could have just said that" Margaret admits looking back at James "And my son what of him"

"The prince has been well attend to my lady, there is nothing his majesty would not do for the young prince"

"I would never think otherwise" Margaret admits "His majesty and I both love James as much as a parent should"

Margaret walks around the room and kisses her sons head again "I'll keep you safe no matter what"

May 15th 1536

Margaret tried to remain calm as she found herself couldn't at the kings chambers. The guards immediately let her in and as she did she bowed her head.

Was her siblings going to be fine, was she going to join them. She couldn't help but worry.

"Margaret" Henry whispers as she lifts her head and looks at him "We must speak"

"Before we do i must thank you for allowing me to see our son" Margaret thanks him "He is everything to me"

"As he is to me" he pauses "I've signed the lord rochfords death warrant, he is to be beheaded in two days time"

Margaret blinks twice and quickly takes a step back "My brother is to die"

"I cannot allow him to get away with treason not even for you"

She tilts her head "And Anne what of her"

"I have yet to decided but either way i intend to take a new wife after all this"

"Your words are cutting me quite deep,do you know that? More so than any knife could ever do."

"Margaret let me explain"

"No no you intend to replace my sister as you did with the dowager princess" She looks up with him "You intend to wed Jane Seymour don't you"

"No i intended to wed the mother of my son"

She scoffs "You think id wed you, after sealing my brother fate and perhaps even my sisters"

"I-"

"You must be more delusional than anyone I've ever met"

"We were happy a month ago, wed be happier if we were wed"

"No no you see me nothing more than a pawn to give sons" She snaps "If my brother.....if Anne dies I shall never forgive you"

"And if i command you to be my wife, I am king Margaret i can do whatever I please"

"If you must say those words than you have never been king"

She turns around and quickly rushes out of the room as she hears him call for her.

************************************

"Margaret calm down and breath" Arthur muttered following her into her room "What has happened"

"Arthur" She held back tears "He has sealed my brothers fate"

"George is to die" Arthur asks as she slowly nods "And Anne"

She lifts her head up "He says he has not decided but"

"But we both know what he did to wed her in the first place"

"Arthur what do I do"

He takes her hands in his "You know what you must do"

"I cannot leave James or Elizabeth. I cannot run with one but two young children"

"Two?"

Margaret sighs "I have missed my bleeding"

An- And the plot thickens.......one more chapter until act three and the timeskip
