February 17th 1536, Hatfield

Margaret walked into Hatfield a few moments before Henry did. She was rather eager to see her son and young niece. The last time she had seen James was the new year. The day she returned to the castle.

Margaret had brought up that she was going to see their son the day before, and Henry dropped everything for today so he could accompany her.

Margaret didn't know if it was because he truly wanted to see James or to make sure she kept away from Mary. But she didn't mind at all, she knew Henry loved her and she loved him. And that he would do nothing to harm their son, well she hoped he wouldn't.

"Lady Margaret" Lady Bryan greeted her as Henry walked in "Your majesty"

Margaret looked behind her as she saw Henry stood alone "Henry"

"Where is he, where is our son?" Henry spoke up as Margaret rolled her eyes. He could have been a bit nicer to the woman who was looking after their son.

"With Lady Mary and the princess," Lady Bryan admitted.

Henry didn't say anything as his eyes went to Margaret who left the main hall and made her way to where she knew the three Tudors were.

Margaret had been to Hatfield many more times then Henry and Anne combined. She hated being without james and she had grown to know a lot about Hatfield and where Mary would look after her younger siblings.

"Aunt" Elizabeth grinned as Margaret walked into Elizabeth's room as her eye went to Mary who held her son.

"Margaret" Mary spoke up as Margaret sent her a small smile "I did not know you were coming today"

"Can I see him"

"Of course, Elizabeth stay on the couch" Mary tells the young girl as she gets up and walks over to Margaret.

She smiles as she takes her son out of Mary's hands.

"My sweet boy" Margaret smiled as she held James. Completely forgetting that Henry was also at Hatfield.

"I want to see Aunt as well" Elizabeth spoke up as Mary rolled her eyes.

"He's grown" Another voice is heard as Mary takes a step back and Margaret turns to her right "Allow me to see our son"

Margaret doesn't protest as Henry takes James out of her hands. She hadn't git to hold him long, but she knew Henry hadn't seen him in ages.

So Margaret walked over to the couch and picked Elizabeth up. Elizabeth grinned as she moved some of Margaret's hair out of her face "I've missed you and Mama"

"As I've missed you my niece" Margaret muttered placing a kiss on her forehead. Margaret then placed Elizabeth back down and turned to Mary as Henry did still with there son in his arms.

"You've been good my daughter" Henry told Mary as a soft smile appeared on her face "I'm sure you've been taking good care of your brother"

"I have your majesty as I have with princess Elizabeth" She replied.

"Take him, Lady Margaret and I must go" Henry states as Mary hesitates to take s step forward but she does. Henry places James in her arms as he looked over at Elizabeth for a split second then to Margaret "Margaret come"

Margaret nodded her head as she walked past James and placed a small kiss on his head before following behind Henry.

As the two walked out of Hatfield Henry stopped.

"She has grown into a perfect lady" Henry muttered as Margaret nodded her head "She has been taking care of our son as well. The future king"

"You never spoke a word to Elizabeth Henry" Margaret muttered "You told me nothing was wrong, just that you no longer loved my sister"

"And I spoke the truth"

"Elizabeth is not Mary, Mary has survived but hardly."

"I just didn't have time Margaret" Henry as he got closer to Margaret "Next time"

"Do you not have time now"

"I have a meeting later, I'd rather like to get back so I can rest for a while before"

"Of course" Margaret whispered as Henry pulled her into a small kiss.

February 23rd 1536

"George" Margaret smiled as she walked up to him "I haven't seen you in a few days brother, I've seen Anne a few times although there are things we need to speak off"

"Anne has been keeping herself from court. I've been at her side or with my wife" George admits as he looks around the crowded room "Although she will be here soon"

"I'm glad. Has she said anything about father or our family"

"No but she is still worried about something. What I do not know. She won't say"

"Are you worried"

"Should I be sister" George asks "Anne and I know that you are in his majesty good books. Whatever has happened between him and Anne is gone now. It is you who's keeping us all where we are"

"Its n- its not like that brother."

"He loves you does he not"

"George not here" Margaret warns her brother.

"Sister he could have annulled his marriage with Anne a month ago, but he has not because he will lose you and by losing you he loses his only son"

Margaret doesn't say anything as she hears the voice of her older sister.

"Its true is it not" Anne joins her siblings conversation "I'm only his wife and the Queen right now because he loves you"

"Sister"

"Margaret I do not hate you, if it means keeping my place as Queen and Elizabeth's as princ-"

"You all say he loves me, he says it as well and yet he is married to you Anne. You are my sister and I am yours"

"You've been happy with him the last few weeks. I will not ruin that" Anne states "You are more important"

"There we are one big family again" George interrupts his sisters as the two rolls there eyes.

"There is one thing" Anne adds "I need to secure a marriage for Elizabeth in case Henry does try to annul our marriage at some point. And I know i should not ask this of you but it might be the only way"

"Ask me what" Margaret questions.

"I have tried too many times, Elizabeth needs to wed either a french duke or the french prince" Anne admits "Henry says they have declined. But if he were to ask again on the behalf of himself and not me perth-"

"Ill ask him" Margaret smiles softly "Our family comes first before anything else"

Anne sends a smile to her as she pulled her into a hug "I love sister no matter what"

"And I you"

February  25th 1536

"Anne" Henry mutters as she takes a seat at the table, where she was having breakfast. Her and Henry may not be on the right terms but she still is made to dine with him. She didn't understand it at all, she didn't understand him.

"Henry" Anne replies back as she begins to eat her food "Margaret told me you and her took a small trip, to Hatfield"

"She wanted to see my son. And i went along with her" Henry states "He is my only son and my heir"

"As you've told me many times"

"Because its a true fact"

"Elizabeth needs a marriage and we need an alliance with France" Anne admits "And i'd like it if you asked the French king on your behalf or even Margaret's. The French royals were quite smitten with her. As the English royals are"

"Watch your words Anne"

"Fine. But I shall not stop until our daughter, the princess of England has a secure marriage pact"

"Fine, I'll ask on my behalf. But you know what they think of her and our marriage"

"Well let's pray that the french king accepts"
