Maggie grew up in a good family, sure there were some ups and downs but you would never see her complain. Growing up with four sisters and a brother who all turned out to be doctors, was nerve racking. As she grew older Maggie always thought that she had to show her family how good she was, fight to be seen but Maggie never learned that trying to hard would also be her downfall.

Alex did not grow up in a good family, with having a druggie as a mother and taking care of his sibling all the time. He didn't care if people liked him, he never had anyone to compete with, he was a minimal type of guy, only caring about one thing in the world, and that was himself.

So when the internship starts and they first cross paths with each other, it was not pretty. Maggie hates the way Alex did things, how he was rude for no reason, how he half assed his life and most importantly how he treated her and Alex hated the way Maggie lived, spoiled and loved.

The two, complete opposites somehow manage to see eye to eye in a world that was so completely different.
