Unexpected Confessions

As Jungkook approached Saanvi, he gave Ye-joon a slight shove, causing Ye-joon, who had been kneeling, to tumble onto the pavement. Jungkook positioned himself between Ye-joon and Saanvi, standing protectively.

Saanvi was taken aback, unable to comprehend how Jungkook had appeared so suddenly and why he was behaving in such a manner.

The unexpected turn of events left her bewildered and intrigued.

Saanvi was about to speak, "What are you do-" when Jungkook interrupted her, his voice trembling with emotion. "What are you doing, Saanvi? How could you do this to me?" he said, his impatience barely masking the tears he was holding back.

Saanvi's eyes widened in confusion. "Jungkook, what are you talking about?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Jungkook's frustration was palpable. "Why does everyone turn a blind eye when it comes to my love? Why can't anyone see it?" His voice broke as he swallowed a lump in his throat. "Everyone can see that I love you, Saanvi, so why can't you? Why can't you feel it?" He wiped the sweat off his forehead. "You met me first, so how could you fall for Ye-joon? Why couldn't you love me? Why couldn't you see how much I love you?"

He sighed deeply, his voice heavy with resignation. "It's always my luck. Whoever I love, they never love me back. Why, Saanvi, why... Why can't you see my love for you?"

Jungkook's words hung in the air, and Saanvi stood there, shocked and bewildered. She glanced at Ye-Joon, who was now standing up, dusting off his clothes, and looking equally stunned.

"Aren't you going to say anything?" Jungkook asked, frustration seeping into his tone.

Saanvi blinked, coming out of her shock. "Jungkook, I don't understand-" she began, but Jungkook cut her off again, his eyes pleading.

"Why, Saanvi? Just tell me why," he whispered, his voice breaking.

Just then, Ye-Joon stepped forward from behind Jungkook, took the bouquet from Saanvi, and said, "Thank you, Saanvi, for holding this." He then turned to Jungkook and stammered, "A-actually, my shoelace came undone, and I was just tying it up. That's why I gave the bouquet to Saanvi to hold. She was here to help me choose flowers."

Jungkook looked confused, his anger slowly dissipating into bewilderment.

Flashback

On the phone: "Saanvi, please, please, please come quickly. It's an emergency... You're the only one who can help."

"Alright, I'm coming," Saanvi said, shocked.

"There's a flower shop nearby. Come here," Ye-joon said before hanging up.

Saanvi informed Y/n and rushed to meet Ye-joon.

"What happened? What's the emergency?" Saanvi asked, out of breath.

"I'm-I'm finally going to propose to my friend today, but I have no idea which flowers to choose. I thought you could help me and give me some tips on how to propose," he said nervously.

Saanvi, initially shocked, hit him lightly on the head. "Are you serious, Ye-joon? I thought something terrible had happened. Who calls for help like this?"

She encouraged him, helped him select the perfect flowers, and said, "Just say what's in your heart. There's no need for a script. Be yourself." Ye-joon nodded gratefully.

As they left the flower shop, Ye-joon's shoelace came undone. "Saanvi, could you hold this while I tie my lace?" he asked, handing her the bouquet.

End of Flashback

Ye-joon nervously laughed, looking at Jungkook. "Well, I'm off. My soon-to-be girlfriend is waiting for me," he said, moving ahead.

Saanvi called out, "All the best! I hope you succeed!" and Ye-joon waved in response as he walked away.

Jungkook stood there dumbfounded, his mind racing. Saanvi shifted her attention to him, crossing her arms over her chest. "What was that, Kook?" she asked her tone a mix of curiosity and reprimand.

Jungkook awkwardly laughed, pulling a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe the sweat off his forehead. "Ha... haha... well... actually..." He was at a loss for words, the anger and regret he had felt moments ago now replaced by sheer awkwardness.

Saanvi stepped closer, her eyes narrowing as she studied his flustered expression. "You seemed so sure of yourself a moment ago. What happened?"

Jungkook fumbled, looking anywhere but at Saanvi. In an attempt to escape the situation, he suddenly pretended to be on a call, pressing the hand holding the handkerchief to his ear. "Oh, right... I'm just coming," he said with an awkward smile.

Saanvi raised an eyebrow, sceptical. She walked over to him, lifted his other hand, and pressed his actual phone to his ear. "The phone is here, not there."

"Ha... haha... oh, right, right..." Jungkook stammered, his face flushed with embarrassment. He looked around, desperately seeking an escape route, but Saanvi's piercing gaze held him in place.

Suddenly, as if remembering something important, he exclaimed, "Oh, I just remembered, I have a very important meeting... I'll talk to you later!" Without making eye contact with Saanvi, he quickly turned and started to walk away, his steps hurried and unsteady.

Saanvi firmly and loudly said, "Stop right there, Kook. Don't be a coward. After saying all that, don't you want to hear my answer?" She stepped in front of him, blocking his path.

She looked him straight in the eyes and said, "Why are you running? Am I a monster who will eat you?"

Jungkook stared back at her with his big, innocent doe eyes, and Saanvi felt her resolve melting in his gaze.

Taking a deep breath, Saanvi continued, "Thank you, thank you so much, Kook, for having the courage to speak your heart. But now that you've said it, don't run away. Hear me out too."

Jungkook suddenly felt a wave of fear wash over him, his heart beating rapidly. He was terrified at the thought of rejection, the fear surrounding him like a dark cloud. Trembling, he stammered, "S-Saanvi, relax. There's no rush. Please, before you give me an answer, think it over carefully. Make your decision after giving it a proper thought. Please, don't decide in haste," he pleaded earnestly.

Saanvi took a moment, letting his words sink in. She saw the genuine fear and vulnerability in his eyes. "Jungkook, I understand you're scared, but you need to trust me too. I've thought about this more than you realize."

But Jungkook again pleaded, "Please, Saanvi, please think it over one more time." He was convinced she was about to reject him, berating himself internally. "Who proposes like this? She's definitely going to say no," he thought.

Saanvi shook her head firmly. "I've already decided, Kook, and I don't need to think anymore. I love you, Kook."

Jungkook was so shocked and scared that he didn't register what Saanvi had just said. He continued, "Saanvi, please think aga-wait, what?" Suddenly, her words hit him. He looked at her, disbelief written all over his face. "W-what did you say, Saanvi?" he stammered.

Saanvi smiled warmly, her eyes shining with affection. "Yes, Kook, I love you too. That's my answer, and that's what I want." She then wrapped her arms around Jungkook, pulling him into a hug.

Jungkook stood frozen for a moment, his mind struggling to process the unexpected turn of events. Slowly, a wide smile spread across his face as he hugged her back tightly, his heart bursting with joy and relief. "I can't believe this," he whispered. "You love me."

Saanvi chuckled softly against his chest. "Yes, I do. And now that everything is out in the open, let's just enjoy this moment."

They stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, the world around them fading away. All the fears, doubts, and misunderstandings melted in the warmth of their embrace, replaced by the promise of a shared future filled with love and understanding.

It was getting dark, and the moon started glowing above in the sky, casting a soft, ethereal light. In this serene moonlight, the newly formed lovebirds held each other's hands, walking together, oblivious to the world around them. A cool, gentle breeze was blowing, and the temperature was dropping, but the warmth of their love kept them comfortable.

They enjoyed each other's company, sharing laughter and stories, the occasional gentle touch making their hearts flutter. They wandered around, sipping coffee, feeling the warmth of the cups in their hands and the warmth of each other's presence.

As they strolled, the world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in their own little universe. The chill in the air was no match for the heat of their newfound affection, and the night felt like it was crafted just for them, a perfect backdrop to their blossoming romance.

Y/N was feeling hungry, and there was no sign of Saanvi. Adding to her worry, she was also scared, wondering why Ye-Joon had called Saanvi in such an emergency.

After waiting for what felt like ages, Y/N decided to call Saanvi. "Where are you, Saanvi? When will you come back? I'm hungry and I need dinner," Y/N blurted out in one breath as soon as Saanvi picked up the call.

Saanvi checked her phone and realized it was already 8 PM. She suddenly remembered that Y/N was alone and likely dealing with period pain. Guilt washed over her for leaving Y/N alone for so long. "Sorry, sorry, Cherry. I was with Kook. I'll be back soon and then I'll make something for you. Don't order anything from outside; it won't be good for your cramps," Saanvi reassured Y/N, feeling bad for having left her alone for so long.

"Oohh, okay. Take your time, I'll wait," Y/N said before hanging up the call.

Saanvi quickly turned to Jungkook, her expression apologetic. "I need to go, Kook. Y/N is alone and in pain. I can't leave her like this."

Jungkook nodded, understanding. "Of course, Saanvi. Let's get you home quickly."

Jungkook offered to drop Saanvi off, but she declined, saying, "It's really close by. You go home. I'll manage."

They hugged each other tightly, reluctant to part, and said their goodbyes. As they were about to go their separate ways, Jungkook hesitated and called out, "S-Saanvi, are you free tomorrow?"

"Yes," Saanvi replied.

"Would you go on a date with me tomorrow?" Jungkook asked, his voice tinged with nervous excitement.

Saanvi's expression turned guilty. "Sorry, Kook, but maybe it's not possible tomorrow. I can't leave Y/N alone."

"Oh, it's okay," Jungkook said, understanding dawning in his eyes. "I completely forgot about Y/N's situation. How about this? I'll come over tomorrow, and we can all enjoy together. Y/N can join us, and we can enjoy together."

"Yeah, that would be great," Saanvi said, smiling brightly, feeling a wave of relief and happiness.

They parted ways with smiles and waves, and Saanvi headed home, her heart lighter knowing that she had someone who cared deeply for her and understood her priorities.

Back at home, Y/N was relieved to see Saanvi finally return. "Thank goodness you're back. I was starting to worry."

"I'm so sorry for leaving you alone for so long," Saanvi said, rushing to the kitchen to make something for Y/N. "I'll whip up something quickly."

While having dinner, Saanvi explained to Y/N how Jungkook had misinterpreted the situation and ended up blurting out his feelings. They enjoyed their meal together, and Saanvi shared that Jungkook had asked her out on a date, but she had declined.

"Are you crazy, Berry?" Y/N exclaimed, shocked. "I'm not dying. I can manage, and if needed, I can call Taehyung. Don't miss out on this chance."

"Let's see," Saanvi replied playfully, considering Y/N's words.

Y/N was thrilled that both Saanvi and Jungkook had accepted their feelings and confessed. She wanted Saanvi to go on a date with Jungkook but knew Saanvi wouldn't go alone, so she came up with an idea. "You don't have to go on a date or spend time with Kook, but why should you be the third wheel between me and Taehyung? You should go, then he will come here." Y/N grinned, revealing her plan.

"Wow, you care so much about Taehyung," Saanvi teased, chuckling. "Don't try this drama in front of me. This trick won't work on me."

Y/N sighed dramatically. "Sometimes it's really bad that you know me so well, that you can see through all my tricks."

Saanvi suggested, "Tomorrow, Kook will come here, and if Taehyung and the others are free, we'll invite everyone over. You can relax here and enjoy with everyone."

"No, you should go on the date and enjoy yourself," Y/N insisted, declining Saanvi's idea. "Just listen to me quietly. Besides, we'll all go out together in three days anyway," Y/N added excitedly.

Finally, Saanvi gave in to Y/N's persistence and said, "Alright, I'll go. But if there's any problem, call Jiju or me. And take care of yourself."

"Okay, boss," Y/N giggled, agreeing playfully.

They finished their dinner leisurely, discussing lighter topics and sharing anecdotes from their past adventures. Y/N kept teasing Saanvi about Jungkook, lightening the mood and easing any lingering nervousness Saanvi felt about the date.

After returning to her room, Saanvi messaged Jungkook, "Kook, let's go on a date tomorrow." Seeing this message, Jungkook couldn't contain his happiness, knowing well who was behind all this. He replied promptly, "Okay, be ready in the morning, I'll come to pick you up."

Feeling grateful and overwhelmed with emotions, Jungkook also texted Y/N, expressing his heartfelt thanks, "Thank you, princess. Thank you for encouraging me and helping me face my feelings. It's because of your support and encouragement that I was able to tell Saanvi everything, and now we're a couple. Thank you so much for convincing Saanvi to go on the date. But if you're not feeling well, we can cancel the plan."

Y/N smiled upon reading Jungkook's message and replied warmly, "I'm very happy for both of you. You both are special friends to me, so I had to help. Besides, you showed a lot of courage, well done, Kook."

Jungkook, feeling grateful for Y/N's support, responded, "Thank you, princess. I'm really lucky to have a friend like you. I'll always be there for you, supporting you."

After this exchange, everyone retired for the night, filled with anticipation and contentment about the events of the upcoming day. They drifted off into peaceful slumber, looking forward to what the future would bring for their friendship and newfound relationship.

"Friendship is the foundation on which love blossoms."
