As the morning alarm rang, Saanvi woke up to find it was already 8 AM. She checked her phone and saw a message from Jungkook: "Sorry, Saanvi... I'm really sorry, but something important came up at the company, so we can't go on our date right now. But I promise we'll go for dinner this evening. I hope you understand." Jungkook had hesitated a lot before sending this message, worried that Saanvi might feel hurt. He had no other choice but to cancel the plan he himself had made.

Reading the message, Saanvi replied, "It's okay, Kook. Take your time. We'll go in the evening." Feeling content and reassured, she turned off her phone and happily drifted back to sleep.

After a while, Y/N woke up and noticed that Saanvi was still sleeping soundly. She walked over to Saanvi’s bed and gently shook her. "Saanvi, wake up! You're getting late... wake up!"

Saanvi groggily opened her eyes, rubbed them, and slowly sat up. "Oh girl, the date got cancelled. Let me sleep in peace," she muttered, clearly disappointed.

Y/N looked at her with concern. "Why? What happened? Is everything okay?"

Saanvi sighed and stretched her arms. "Yeah, everything's fine. Jungkook got called to the company for some urgent work. He said we'll go for a dinner date this evening instead," she explained, yawning.

"That's great, Saanvi! Since we have the whole day free now, let's go shopping. You need to buy a new dress for the date. What will you wear otherwise?" Y/N suggested excitedly, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Saanvi raised an eyebrow, a little confused. "Are you sure you're feeling okay? It's the second day of your period. You were in so much pain yesterday."

Y/N smiled reassuringly. "Yes, I'm totally fine. The medicine Taehyung gave me yesterday worked wonders. I feel much better today. That's why I'm suggesting we go shopping," she said, already planning their trip.

Saanvi smiled back, feeling reassured by Y/N's enthusiasm. "Alright, alright, let's go. But first, let's freshen up and have breakfast," she said, reluctantly getting out of bed. As she did, she playfully flicked Y/N on the head.

Y/N giggled and headed towards the bathroom to freshen up. Saanvi followed, thinking about what she might wear for the date later. After they both got ready, they made their way to the kitchen.

The kitchen was filled with the comforting aroma of fresh coffee and toast. They quickly prepared breakfast, chatting and laughing about random things. Saanvi couldn't help but feel excited about the evening. Despite the sudden change in plans, she knew it would be special.

As they finished their breakfast, Y/N clapped her hands together. "Alright, let's hit the shops! We have a lot to do and I can't wait to see you in a stunning new dress!"

Saanvi laughed, feeling her spirits lift. "Okay, okay, let's go! Today is going to be fun," she said, grabbing her bag and following Y/N out the door.

The whole day was spent shopping, and both girls enjoyed every bit of it. They started their adventure at the city's largest mall, filled with a variety of stores. Saanvi and Y/N wandered through countless shops, trying on different outfits and giggling like schoolgirls at their reflections in the mirrors.

Saanvi finally found a beautiful one-piece dress for her date. It was a stunning shade of mauve, adorned with intricate patterns of pearls and stones. The dress reached just above her knees and hugged her body perfectly, accentuating every curve elegantly. As she stepped out of the fitting room, Y/N gasped. "Saanvi, you look gorgeous! Jungkook is going to be speechless."

Y/N wasn't far behind in finding her own treasure. She picked out a frock that she absolutely loved. It was a delicate blend of ice green and white, with a beautiful intricate thread design that gave it a whimsical touch. "This is perfect!" Y/N exclaimed, twirling in front of the mirror.

They didn't just stop at dresses. The girls explored the skincare section, picking out face masks, moisturizers, and a few new beauty products to pamper themselves. They also bought some household items, making sure their home would be stocked and cosy.

By the afternoon, their stomachs were growling. They found a cosy little café in the mall and decided to take a break.  They ordered sandwiches, salads, and smoothies. "This is exactly what we needed," Saanvi said, taking a bite of her sandwich. They chatted about their plans for the evening, the excitement of the date, and their future dreams.

Feeling rejuvenated after their meal, they continued their shopping spree, heading to the grocery store next. They roamed the aisles, picking up fresh fruits, vegetables, and some snacks for the week. "We should try that new recipe we saw on YouTube," Y/N suggested, dropping a pack of pasta into the cart.

Finally, with their shopping bags full and their heart's content, they returned home.

Saanvi smiled, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness about the evening.

After a while, Jungkook called Saanvi and said, "Get ready, I'll be there in 20 minutes."

Saanvi, her heart racing with excitement, immediately started getting ready. She rummaged through her shopping bags and pulled out her new mauve dress. "Cherry, help me out here!" she called to Y/N, who quickly came to her side.

Saanvi slipped into the dress, and Y/N helped zip it up. "Wow, this dress fits you like a glove," Y/N admired, smoothing out the fabric. The dress hugged Saanvi's figure perfectly, accentuating her curves and giving her a graceful, elegant look.

They moved to the vanity table where Y/N started working on Saanvi's makeup. Both girls preferred a natural look, so Y/N applied a light foundation, a touch of blush to highlight Saanvi's cheekbones, and a bit of mascara to make her eyes pop. "Just a little bit of colour on your lips," Y/N said, picking up a nude lipstick. She was just about to apply it when her phone rang.

It was Taehyung. "Hey, princess... what are you up to?"

"Nothing much, Tae... what about you?" Y/N asked, a smile spreading across her face.

"If you're free, would you like to go out for dinner? We can spend some time together," Taehyung suggested.

"Wow, that's a great idea! Saanvi is also going on a date," Y/N replied excitedly, glancing at Saanvi who was looking in the mirror, practising her smile.

"Saanvi? Who is she going with?" Taehyung asked, sounding confused.

"Didn't Kook tell you? Saanvi and Jungkook are in a relationship. He proposed to her just yesterday," Y/N said, surprised.

"Wow, wow... so the kid's grown up and is keeping secrets from his brothers, huh? He didn't even tell us," Taehyung chuckled.

"Make sure to tease him about it later," Y/N laughed.

"Hey, how about a double date? Us and Kook-Saanvi?" Taehyung suggested

"No, no, let's not. Let them spend some time alone. It's their first date, don't be a third wheel," Y/N advised.

"You're right. Let the new lovebirds enjoy their time. We'll have our own date. Get ready, I'll be there in a bit," Taehyung agreed.

"Okay, I'll finish getting Saanvi ready first, then I'll get ready myself," Y/N said.

Just then, Saanvi called out, "Cherry! Come here quickly!"

"Alright, Taehyung, I'll see you soon. Saanvi needs me. She can't get ready without me," Y/N chuckled.

Taehyung laughed. "Alright, see you soon, princess."

Y/N hung up and rushed back to Saanvi, who was eagerly waiting. "Okay, let's finish up. We need to make you look perfect," Y/N said, picking up the lipstick again. She carefully applied it, adding just the right amount of colour to Saanvi's lips.

Y/N then moved on to Saanvi's hair, curling the ends to give it a soft, romantic look. "You look amazing, Saanvi. Jungkook won’t be able to take his eyes off you," Y/N said, stepping back to admire her handiwork.

Saanvi took a deep breath, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. "Thank you so much, Cherry. I couldn't have done this without you."

Y/N hugged her. "That's what friends are for. Now, go have the best date ever!" she said, just as the doorbell rang.

Saanvi's heart skipped a beat. "That must be Jungkook," she whispered, grabbing her purse and heading to the door. As she opened it, she saw Jungkook standing there, looking as handsome as ever in a well-fitted blazer and casual jeans. His eyes lit up when he saw her.

As soon as Jungkook saw Saanvi, he forgot to breathe. He stood there, mesmerized, not even blinking, and just kept staring at her. The soft lighting of the hallway made Saanvi’s dress shimmer subtly, accentuating her graceful figure and radiant beauty. Her hair cascaded down in soft waves, framing her face perfectly.

"Kook... Kook... KOOKKK..." Saanvi waved her hand in front of his face, a playful smile on her lips, snapping him back to reality.

Jungkook blinked rapidly, shaking his head slightly. "Sorry, I just... you look absolutely stunning, Saanvi," he said, his voice filled with awe. He took a step closer, gently taking her hand. "I've never seen anyone more beautiful."

Saanvi blushed deeply, her heart fluttering. "Thank you, Kook. You look really handsome too," she replied softly, her eyes locking with his.

Y/N, standing behind Saanvi, chuckled and said, "Let him admire you to his heart's content, Berry."

Jungkook shyly laughed, still not taking his eyes off Saanvi. "I just can't believe how lucky I am," he murmured, squeezing her hand gently.

Saanvi felt warmth spread through her, a mix of nervousness and excitement bubbling inside her. She glanced back at Y/N, who gave her a reassuring wink.

"You two are adorable. Now, go and enjoy your evening!" Y/N said, stepping back to give them some space.

Jungkook, still holding Saanvi's hand, led her out of the apartment. The evening air was cool and refreshing, filled with the distant hum of the city. They walked down the hallway, exchanging shy glances and smiles. When they reached the elevator, Jungkook turned to her and said, "I’ve been looking forward to this all day."

Saanvi smiled, feeling her nerves melt away. "Me too. I’m so glad we’re finally getting to do this."

As the elevator doors opened, Jungkook gently guided her inside. The ride down felt like an eternity and a blink all at once. The anticipation and excitement between them were almost tangible.

When they reached the lobby, Jungkook led Saanvi to his car, opening the door for her with a charming smile.

Saanvi laughed softly and got in, feeling like she was in a dream. Jungkook got in on the other side, and they drove off, the city lights casting a magical glow around them.

Back at the apartment, Y/N watched them drive away, a smile on her face. She felt a buzz of excitement for her own date as she hurried back inside to finish getting ready. She chose a dress that Taehyung loved, one that made her feel confident and beautiful.

Just as she was finishing up, her phone buzzed with a message from Taehyung: "On my way, can’t wait to see you."

Y/N replied quickly, "I’m ready and excited too!"

Within minutes, there was a knock at the door. She opened it to find Taehyung standing there, looking effortlessly handsome in his casual yet stylish outfit. His eyes lit up when he saw her.

"You look stunning," he said, his voice filled with admiration.

"Thank you, Tae. You look amazing too," Y/N replied, feeling a flutter in her stomach.

He took her hand, and they left for their date, both feeling the thrill of the evening ahead. As they walked, Y/N couldn’t help but think about how perfect everything had turned out. Saanvi and Jungkook were on their first date, and she was about to enjoy a wonderful evening with Taehyung.

"In the glow of the city lights, their hearts found a rhythm only love could create."
