The sudden ringing of the doorbell jolted them both awake. Taehyung, still half-asleep, squinted at the clock and said, "Who could be here so early?" Y/N, fully alert now, smacked his head lightly and replied, "Duffer, it's not early; it's already 10 o'clock. Now go and open the door."

"Oh no..." Taehyung's eyes widened in realization, and he let out a sharp scream. "It's the members! I'm late for practice, and they must be furious since I ignored all their calls. I'm doomed," he said, clutching his head in despair.

The doorbell rang again, more impatient this time. "Go open the door first. I'll get changed," Y/N said, getting out of bed and grabbing her clothes. She headed to the bathroom, glancing back at Taehyung who was frantically searching for a t-shirt.

Taehyung found his t-shirt, pulled it on hastily, and sprinted to the door. His heart raced, knowing he was about to face an angry mob. As he swung the door open, he was met with a wall of annoyed faces.

"Where have you been?" Jin demanded, arms crossed.

"Do you know how many times we called?" Jimin added, glaring.

"We thought something happened to you!" RM said, his voice a mix of relief and frustration.

"I'm so sorry, guys," Taehyung stammered, trying to come up with an excuse. "I overslept... I..."

Everyone piled inside and settled on the couch just as Y/N emerged from the room, smiling shyly. The sudden sight of her left everyone in shock; no one had expected to see her there.

Jungkook, always ready to tease, immediately quipped, "Ohhh, now I get why Taehyung is late. Must have been working hard last night, huh?"

Y/N's mouth dropped open in surprise. Jimin, noticing something on her neck, chimed in, "Princess, it seems like there are a lot of mosquitoes in this house, right?"

Y/N, still confused by Jimin's comment, squinted her eyes trying to understand. "I mean those mosquito bites on your neck," Jimin added with a chuckle. Realization struck her, and she quickly started glaring at Taehyung while trying to pull her hair forward to cover the telltale red marks.

"So, you two were up all night fighting mosquitoes?" Jin asked with a laugh, making Y/N's face turn an even deeper shade of red.

Trying to escape the situation, Y/N stammered, "Okay guys, now that you're all here, you should start practising. I'll be going now," and she made her way to the door.

Just then, Jungkook grabbed her hand to stop her. "Hey, what's the rush? Stay for breakfast. And don't forget, you still owe us the whole story from last night."

Y/N's eyes widened in panic. She couldn't look anyone in the eye, and her face was turning the colour of a ripe tomato as everyone laughed and teased her.

Taehyung, sensing her distress, stepped in and hugged her, pressing her face against his chest to shield her from the teasing. "Alright guys, that's enough. No more teasing. Let's have breakfast together. And you, Y/N, come on. Have breakfast with us before you go."

During breakfast, the atmosphere gradually shifted from playful teasing to serious discussions about their practice schedule and plans for the day. RM laid out the agenda, while Jin and Suga talked about the upcoming choreography they needed to perfect. Jimin and Jungkook discussed the vocal parts they needed to rehearse, and Taehyung, now fully awake and focused, added his thoughts on their performance details.

After breakfast, the group cleaned up quickly, and with renewed energy, they headed to the practice room. Y/N decided it was time to leave and head back home. She waved goodbye, and Taehyung gave her a reassuring smile, mouthing, "See you later."

When Y/N got home, she immediately took a long, refreshing shower, letting the warm water wash away the remnants of her earlier embarrassment and waking her up fully. She felt rejuvenated and ready to tackle the rest of the day.

Dressed in comfortable clothes, she made herself a cup of coffee and sat down on the couch. She picked up her phone and dialled Saanvi's number. As the phone rang, she thought about how much she missed her friend and hoped everything was alright.

Saanvi, excited, shared, "You know what? I met a guy outside my apartment today. His name is Kang Ye-Joon. He lives here too, and he's from Korea! He helped me with my shopping and settling in."

"Wow, so you found a friend right away. That's great!" Y/N responded, equally excited.

"Yeah, he's a nice guy, very helpful. I liked his nature," Saanvi said.

"How are things there? How are all the BTS members?" Saanvi asked curiously.

"All the members? Or are you asking about Jungkook specifically?" Y/N teased with a grin.

"Yeah, Cherry... I'm asking about everyone," Saanvi grumbled, trying to hide her interest.

"And besides, if I wanted to know about Jungkook, I'd just ask him directly," Saanvi chuckled.

"Yeah, sure, ask him about everyone then," Y/N sighed, feigning jealousy. "Seems like Jungkook is more important to you than me now."

Saanvi knew Y/N's playful tone and responded in kind, "Just like how you forget about me when you're with your Tae."

"Ooh, he's my boyfriend, and I haven't forgotten you. And since when did Jungkook become your boyfriend?" Y/N laughed, teasing her friend.

"Oh God, Cherry, no one can win against you. Okay, fine. Jungkook is not my boyfriend, and I haven't forgotten you," Saanvi said, sighing dramatically.

Y/N then recounted the morning's incident, explaining how the members showed up unexpectedly and noticed the hickeys, leading to relentless teasing. The two friends laughed heartily, sharing the hilarity of the situation.

They continued chatting and laughing, enjoying each other's company despite the distance. The conversation was filled with warmth and humour, a testament to their strong bond.

That evening, Y/N received an invitation for dinner from the BTS members. They knew she had just returned home and thought she might be feeling a bit lonely, so they wanted her to join them and enjoy some time together.

Y/N was in the middle of organizing her documents when her phone rang. Seeing it was RM, she picked up.

"Hey, Y/N! We're having dinner together tonight and we'd love for you to join us," RM said warmly.

When she arrived, she was greeted by the cheerful chaos that always accompanied the BTS members. The smell of delicious food wafted through the air, making her stomach growl in response.

As they all sat down for dinner, the conversation flowed easily. They talked about their day, shared jokes, and teased each other like family. Y/N felt a sense of belonging and warmth, her earlier fatigue forgotten.

After dinner, everyone was in the living room, enjoying dessert and chatting when Suga suddenly remembered something. "By the way, how's Saanvi doing? She's in Japan, right?" he asked.

Hobi chimed in, "Yeah, it's been a while since I last talked to her. Haven't had the time to call."

Jin then suggested, "Princess, why don't you video call her? Let's all catch up with her today."

Y/N nodded and quickly dialled Saanvi on a video call. Everyone gathered around, eager to see their friend. After a few rings, Saanvi picked up, appearing slightly out of breath and with the sounds of the outdoors in the background.

Jungkook immediately asked, "Where are you? What are you doing outside at this hour?"

Saanvi turned her camera to show a young, handsome guy sitting a little distance away, engrossed in his phone. "I came to the apartment park and ran into my new friend. We were chatting, and then your call came, so I excused myself to talk to you guys."

Jimin smiled, "Oh, that's great! You won't be bored now, and it's good to have someone around to help."

Suddenly, Jungkook interjected, "What's so great about that? Saanvi, be careful. You shouldn't get too close to strangers right away. Keep your distance."

Sensing Jungkook's tone, Hobi asked, "Kook, are you jealous?"

"W-why would I be jealous? I-I'm just concerned about her safety," Jungkook stammered, trying to cover his true feelings or maybe he also didn't know.

Taehyung stepped in, "You don't need to lecture her, Kook. She knows what's best for her. She's not an ordinary person; she's a diplomat. Of course, she's intelligent."

Meanwhile, Saanvi was blushing furiously, clearly affected by the whole exchange. God only knows what was going on between both of them.

Y/N teased, "By the way, Berry, your new friend is handsome," giving a playful wink.

Her comment immediately triggered reactions from two people, both of whom blurted out, "Huh, handsome my foot."

"What!?" Y/N widened her eyes, surprised, while everyone else looked at Taehyung and Jungkook in amusement.

Realizing they had spoken in unison, Taehyung and Jungkook laughed sheepishly. "We mean, he's not that handsome!" Taehyung corrected, trying to sound casual.

"Yeah, definitely not that handsome," Jungkook echoed, nodding a bit too vigorously.

Y/N shook her head with a grin. "Unbelievable," she muttered.

The group laughed, and the mood lightened. They continued chatting, sharing stories, and catching up. It felt like a mini-reunion, bridging the distance between them.

As the call wrapped up, Saanvi waved goodbye, "It was great talking to you all. I miss you guys!"

"Miss you too, Saanvi! Take care," Y/N said, blowing her a kiss through the screen.

A little while after the call ended, Y/N stood up and announced, "Okay guys, I'm heading out. I need to organize some files and then get some sleep. Tomorrow's my first day at the new job here. So, good night."

The group collectively wished her good luck and good night.

"Good night, Y/N! And good luck for tomorrow!" RM said with a supportive smile.

"Yeah, you'll do great!" Jimin added.

Taehyung walked her to the door, giving her a quick hug. "See you tomorrow. Don't stress too much, you'll be amazing," he whispered.

"Thanks, Tae. Good night," she replied and pecked on his cheeks, feeling a reassuring warmth from his words.

With a final wave to everyone, Y/N left, heading home with a sense of anticipation and excitement for the day ahead.

"New beginnings are always better when shared with loved ones."
