Candid Connections

It was getting dark, and Y/N was resting after eating the cake, but she couldn't find any peace. The weather outside was turning pleasant; the moon was playing hide and seek with the clouds, and a cool breeze was blowing, hinting at an impending rain. However, Y/N felt an unusual restlessness. Maybe it was the mood swings before her period.

After numerous failed attempts to calm herself, she decided to call Taehyung. "Taehyung, can you come to my house?" Y/N said in a heavy voice, sounding as if she was on the verge of tears. Hearing her distressed voice, Taehyung got worried. He immediately locked his gate and said, "I'm coming, just open your gate."

Within minutes, Taehyung arrived at Y/N's house. She opened the door, and he could see the anxiety on her face. Without saying a word, he pulled her into a comforting hug. "It's okay, I'm here now," he whispered gently.

As soon as Taehyung hugged Y/N, she broke down, soaking his t-shirt with her tears. Taehyung gently rubbed her back, speaking in a soothing voice, "Everything is fine, nothing's wrong, Y/N... shhh..."

Hearing his comforting voice, Y/N felt a wave of relief wash over her. "I don't know what's wrong with me today. I just feel so restless and uneasy," she said, her voice trembling.

Taehyung continued to hold her, his presence a steady anchor. "It's okay to feel this way sometimes. Just let it out," he murmured, his voice calm and reassuring.

Y/N pulled back slightly, wiping her tears. "Thank you for coming over. I didn't know who else to call."

Taehyung smiled softly, "You don't need to thank me. I'm always here for you."

"Are you hungry? Let me cook something light and healthy," Taehyung said as he lifted Y/N into his arms. She wrapped her legs around his torso, her hands gripping his shoulders firmly, and buried her face in the crook of his neck.

In the kitchen, Taehyung set her down on the counter. "How about a porridge? Will you eat that?"

Y/N scrunched her nose and shook her head. "No, no, I don't like porridge, please."

"Okay, okay, no porridge," Taehyung laughed. "How about an omelette? You'll eat that, right?" he asked, hoping for a positive response.

"Yes, that sounds good!" Y/N said, clapping her hands and giggling like a child.

Whenever Taehyung saw Y/N in this playful, childlike state, his affection for her grew even more. He truly adored her.

As Taehyung was making the omelette, Y/N climbed down from the counter and gave him a back hug, clinging to him like a koala. Today, Y/N was feeling especially clingy. Wherever Taehyung went, she stuck to him, following him closely as if glued to him with Fevicol.

Taehyung chuckled at her behaviour, finding it endearing. "You're extra cuddly today, aren't you?" he teased, gently patting her hands that were wrapped around his waist.

Y/N buried her face into his back, her voice muffled as she replied, "I just need to be close to you right now."

"That's okay," Taehyung said softly. "I'm not going anywhere."

As he moved around the kitchen, Y/N moved with him, not letting go even for a second. It made simple tasks like reaching for the spices or flipping the omelette a bit more challenging, but Taehyung didn't mind. In fact, he found her clinginess adorable.

Finally, the omelette was ready. Taehyung carefully slid it onto a plate, still managing to navigate with Y/N attached to him. He turned around, causing Y/N to loosen her grip and step back slightly.

"Alright, let's eat," he said, handing her the plate with a warm smile.

Y/N took the plate and smiled back, her mood visibly brighter. They sat down together, and she started eating the omelette with gusto.

"This is really good, Taehyung," Y/N said between bites. "Thank you."

As the night wore on, the rain started, the gentle sound of raindrops creating a calming backdrop. Y/N felt her anxiety ebb away, replaced by the warmth of Taehyung’s presence.

After dinner, Taehyung once again lifted Y/N in his arms, just like before, and carried her to the bedroom. He gently laid her on the bed, covering her with a blanket, and then slipped in beside her, pulling her into a comforting cuddle.

In Taehyung's embrace, Y/N felt an immense sense of comfort. The earlier restlessness had completely dissipated, replaced by a deep calm. Taehyung lightly patted her head, trying to help her fall asleep more comfortably. Slowly, Y/N's eyes grew heavy, and she drifted off to sleep.

A while later, when Taehyung didn't feel any movement from Y/N, he looked down to see her peacefully asleep in his arms, like a small child. The anxious expression that had been on her face earlier was now replaced with a serene calmness. Her breathing was steady, and Taehyung could feel the warmth of her body against his.

"Sleep well, princess," he whispered softly, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. He held her close, feeling a profound sense of contentment. As he cuddled her even closer, he, too, drifted off to sleep, the room filled with a comforting sense of peace and security.

The rain outside continued to fall softly, but inside, the warmth and affection between them created a haven of peace and comfort.

In the meantime, Jungkook and Saanvi went to the beach. The place was nearly deserted, with only a couple of other people in sight. The beach was tranquil, the only sound being the rhythmic crashing of the waves. It was late afternoon, and the sun was perched on the horizon, radiating a crimson glow. The seawater shimmered with an orange hue from the scattered sunlight. The weather was delightful, with a gentle breeze flowing.

Jungkook and Saanvi were enjoying themselves immensely. They attempted to build sand sculptures and collected various seashells along the shore. Their laughter and giggles brought the serene beach to life. They took numerous pictures, capturing the beauty around them.

Jungkook had brought his camera and was engrossed in photographing the stunning scenery. As he continued taking pictures, his gaze lingered on Saanvi. She looked radiant against the backdrop of the setting sun, her smile reflecting the joy of the moment. He couldn’t help but capture her in that perfect light, blending her beauty with the serene environment around them.

"Gorgeous," Jungkook murmured, snapping numerous pictures of Saanvi without her noticing. She was playing with the waves, giggling and enjoying herself, completely unaware of the attention she was receiving. Jungkook then switched to recording mode, capturing her laughter and the pure joy on her face. Her hair was dancing in the wind, occasionally brushing across her face, making Jungkook’s heart race.

With the recording still on, Jungkook found himself completely absorbed in watching Saanvi. He gazed at her intently, feeling an indescribable peace wash over him. The way she moved, her carefree laughter, and the sparkle in her eyes were mesmerizing. Each moment he recorded seemed to capture the essence of her spirit, her happiness infectious even through the lens.

As Saanvi splashed in the waves, her laughter echoed along the shoreline. Jungkook’s heart swelled with emotion, and he could feel a smile tugging at his lips. Her hair flew wildly in the breeze, occasionally falling across her face, and every time she brushed it away with a playful flick, Jungkook's heart skipped a beat. He was lost in her, completely captivated by her presence.

The sun continued its descent, casting a golden glow over the scene. Jungkook felt a profound sense of contentment as he watched Saanvi, her silhouette bathed in the warm light. It was as if time had stopped, and all that existed was this perfect moment. He realized that capturing her joy brought him immense happiness, and he cherished every second of it.

Jungkook’s thoughts wandered as he continued to film, his heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and tranquillity. Watching Saanvi brought him a unique sense of peace, and he couldn't tear his eyes away from her. It was in these simple, candid moments that he felt a deep connection to her, one that transcended words and actions, leaving him with a feeling of pure, unadulterated joy.

As the evening turned into night, darkness enveloped the beach. Jungkook and Saanvi sat close to each other, with Saanvi resting her head on Jungkook's shoulder. The waves gently washed over their feet, and the moon played hide and seek with the clouds in the sky. A cool breeze began to blow, causing Saanvi to shiver slightly. Jungkook noticed and, offering his jacket, said, "It looks like it might rain. We should head back."

Saanvi, holding his hand to stop him, replied, "Just a little longer." She then snuggled closer to him, covering herself with his jacket as the temperature dropped and they both began to feel the chill. Despite the cold, their bodies touched, radiating warmth.

Jungkook felt his blood rush at the contact with Saanvi's touch, but he tried to maintain his composure. The proximity was electrifying, each slight movement sending shivers down his spine. He could feel her heartbeat, steady and calm, in contrast to his own rapid pulse. The shared warmth created an intimate bubble around them, making the world outside seem distant and unimportant.

The sound of the waves, the rustling leaves, and their synchronized breathing created a symphony of serenity. Jungkook’s mind raced with unspoken feelings as he held Saanvi close. The moment was perfect, a beautiful blend of peace and unspoken emotions, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Suddenly, a thought crossed Jungkook's mind. "Saanvi... do you have a boyfriend?"

Saanvi was quite surprised by Jungkook's sudden question. "No, I don't," she replied. "I was in a relationship in the past." She hesitated, her voice wavering slightly.

"Ohh... I-if you don't mind, can I ask the reason for your breakup?" Jungkook stuttered, his voice uncertain.

"Nothing much, Kook. He just didn't love me; he was using me. When I finally realized that, I broke up with him," Saanvi sighed.

"It was hard for me, but still... I couldn't let him use me. And since then, I've had trust issues," she said, taking a deep breath.

"Do you trust me, Saanvi?" Jungkook hesitated before asking. Another unexpected question for Saanvi. She was about to reply when heavy rain started pouring down.

"Oh no!" they both exclaimed, jumping up and running towards the exit of the beach.

Jungkook held Saanvi's hand tightly as they ran through the rain. Their car was parked just outside the beach, and the heavy downpour was soaking them both. They sprinted through the rain, laughing despite the sudden chaos. By the time they reached the car, they were both drenched.

Jungkook fumbled with the keys, his hands shaking from the cold and the adrenaline. They finally managed to get inside the car, panting and dripping wet. They sat in the car, catching their breath and laughing at their predicament.

"That was unexpected," Saanvi said, her eyes sparkling with amusement despite their soaked state.

"Yeah, but kind of fun," Jungkook replied, smiling at her. He turned on the car heater, trying to warm them both up. The rain continued to pour outside, but inside the car, it felt cosy and safe.

"Let's go to my place. It's close by, and you can change there. You're wet, and you'll catch a cold," Jungkook suggested as he started the car.

"Yeah, okay, let's go. I'm feeling so cold," Saanvi replied, shivering.

"Sometimes, all we need is someone who cares to make the world feel right again."

Y/n's having mood swings... just  symptoms before her period. I know some people may find this cringe; why y/n is doing this? But I know many people who behave like this in her period.... sometimes I also behave like this but I don't have Tae to be clinging so I became clinging to my mother.🤣😂
