ㅤ"𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍'𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐈𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐘 𝐁𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒," Elle laughed as she walked arm in arm with May. They had just arrived in Jamaica, and while Derek tried to look for his friend who had given them their accommodation for practically nothing, the two women decided on finding their rooms.
"Shut up," May laughed as well. "They're just bikinis! And they're skimpy because of you!"
"First off, you'll thank me for their skimpiness later, because God knows how you've been hiding that body from us this whole time," Elle rolled her eyes with a grin. "Seriously, May, you've got a killer body! And second, Derek Morgan is absolutely crazy about you. Once he sees you, well, I won't doubt a biological reaction, if you know what I mean."
"Elle, you're crazy," the taller of the two commented, but her tone was lighthearted. She won't lie, she's quite nervous showing her body—she wasn't ashamed, however, because she knew she looked good; supernaturally attractive—but knew it was inevitable. And mostly, she was nervous because it's Derek Morgan. "But I am grateful that you went shopping with me for them."
"You're absolutely welcome," Elle winked, before pointing at a door and stopping in her tracks. "This is mine. Where's yours?"
"Uhhh," May quickly turned around and scanned the room numbers. "In the room across from yours, apparently."
"And Derek's is right beside yours," Elle smirked. She pointed, "Adjoining rooms, huh? That screams set up."
"God," May rolled her eyes. "Don't start."
"What? It's clear he wants to spend time with you. Now come on, get inside your room and get changed. I'll do the same, and we'll head off to the beach. I want some sun!"
May laughed and did as her friend said. She unlocked her door and quickly threw her bag onto her bed, the thing landing on the mattress accurately. Without looking back, she gently kicked her door close and blindly locked it with her hands behind her back. Once she heard the click, she didn't hesitate to take her oversized Metallica shirt off, leaving her in her black bra. She then unbuttoned her jean shorts—thankful that it had been warm enough to wear a pair—and was left standing in her room half naked. She then took off her sneakers.
Throwing her clothes onto her bed, she walked towards the door between her and Derek's room, made sure it was locked, before moving back towards her bed and focusing on her back. She rummaged through her bag and pulled out a brand-new pair of white bikinis. It was a nice color on her, complimenting her tanned skin very well.
Taking off the rest of her remaining garments, she now stood naked in her room. She quickly put on her bikini set and rushed to stand in front of the mirror, admiring her appearance. It wasn't everyday she could show off this much skin. And she was actually excited to spend some time at a beach that wasn't cold. Though even before she shifted, it never fully bothered her, the 'warmth' still wasn't a tropical vibe.
Admittedly, she didn't come here just to tan or experience the warmth of the sun on her skin, she really did want to take a plunge in the waters of Jamaica. She had always enjoyed the ocean—she supposes she enjoys everything that nature had to offer—but she only ever did cliff dive or surf, which was the norm in the waters of La Push. But now, she could actually take her time in the water without fear of freezing; something she thought of a lot when she was still a normal human.
A knock on her door broke her out of her thoughts, and she hurriedly grabbed a sheer, white button up that she wanted to use as her cover-up. She put it on as fast as she could, slipped her feet into some flip-flops, and opened the door. She immediately spotted Elle's grin.
"Nice bikini, green suits you," May commented, grabbing her room keys and some sunglasses.
Elle smirked cheekily. "I know. Now come on. You can put your keys in my bag."
The two made their way out of the hotel area and rushed towards the beach. There, as planned, Derek was waiting for them, three unoccupied lounge chairs by him. He waved them over and sat in the middle. Once they reached him, Elle decided on sitting on the chair to right of Derek, and May sat on his left.
Elle dropped her bag by her feet and immediately reclined on her chair. She admired the view and let out a chuckle. Both May and Derek turned to her, the former sporting a grin.
Derek gestured towards their surroundings proudly. "Come on. Did I lie to you?"
"You did not lie," Elle smiled.
Derek laughed then faced May. "You enjoying it too?"
"Of course I am," May smiled. Upon seeing Elle's pointed look at her cover-up, she cleared her throat and began to unbutton her shirt. She rolled her eyes at Elle's cheers as she finally allowed the entire beach—unsurprisingly, her supernatural beauty caught some attention—to look at her with only a bikini on.
(may's face claim, talaysay campo^^ she's gorgeous)
"There we go!" Elle cheered again, before hitting Derek on the shoulder. "Isn't she gorgeous?"
"Absolutely," Derek nodded, his jaw slacked as he looked May up and down. He watched as she rolled her eyes, leaned back, and put on her sunglasses. "Beautiful."
"Stop it," May looked away, embarrassed to show her reddened face.
"Come on, now. Don't hide your pretty face from me."
"Derek Morgan!" She laughed, finally facing him again. "Are you gonna be complimenting me this whole trip?"
"That's the plan."
A woman who appeared to working for the resort walked over to them with a tray of alcoholic drinks. Because there was only one table—one between Elle and Derek, she placed it there, and began handing out their beverages.
Derek was quick to hand May hers after thanking the waitress, admitting, "I wasn't sure what to get you, so I got you a piña colada. Can't get more tropical than that."
"Thanks, Derek," she smiled, sitting up to take the drink from him. She purposely pushed her chest up slightly so he can have a better view. "I'm not a huge drinker, so I haven't tried this yet."
"Really?"
"You grow up with the people I grew up with, you only learn how to drink beer."
Derek laughed and shook his head. "So this is your first cocktail?"
"Nah, I did have a life in college, you know," she snorted. "Not as fun as either of you, I'm sure. But I had my fair share of frat parties and visits to clubs when I was earning my degree."
"Honestly," Elle spoke up, "I'm just glad you partied and stuff, unlike Spencer."
"In his defense, he was in college at thirteen."
"Point."
Derek then lifted his drink, and gestured for the two women to clink their drinks with him. When they did, he said, "Welcome to paradise."
All of a sudden, there was a man that approached them, though he was mostly approaching Derek. And it seemed the two knew each other, and May realized that this man must be Derek's contact.
"There you are," the stranger said.
Derek laughed. "Yes, sir. My man, Mr Gerald Dupree." He stood up from his chair to properly greet the man—who May now knew is named Gerald.
"How you doin', man?" The two shared a hug.
"I'm wonderful, I'm wonderful," Derek then pulled away and looked at his friend's appearance. "Look at you holding it together. Look at him!"
"Hey, I'm tryin', baby," the two shook hands.
Derek then turned to May and Elle who was looking at the two curiously. He gestured first to Elle. "This right here is my partner from the FBI, Miss Elle Greenaway."
Elle sat up straighter to take the man's hand, just as he complimented her. "You didn't tell me she was beautiful."
"Aw," Elle responded, accepting the compliment.
"Would that have gotten me a better deal on the room?" Derek teased.
Gerald turned to him. "You want me to show you a brochure with the real rates?"
Derek raised his hands in surrender. "Hey, hey, I'm done. I'm done, I'm done." Finally, he gestured to May, who sat up just as Elle relaxed back into her chair. "Now this is Miss May Black, fellow FBI agent."
"Oh, so you're May?" Gerald wondered.
May looked at him with a smile. "What, he talk about me?"
"He never stops," Gerald laughed. "Man was so excited when you agreed to coming here that I just had to assign you adjoining rooms."
"So that's your doing, huh?"
Before Gerald can tell May anymore of what Derek has said to him about her, Derek was already cutting into the conversation while shaking his head.
"Hey, hey, let's not tell her more," he said.
"But you're so clearly smitten!" Gerald protested.
"It's true," Elle spoke up. "He's absolutely smitten."
"There you go."
"Anyway, your resort is beautiful," Elle told Gerald.
"Hey, thank you," Gerald clearly appreciated her words. "I always wondered what if would be like to work in paradise. Turns out, it's not half bad. Anything else you need?"
"What's the towel situation?" May asked, turning the attention to her.
"We provide beach towels specifically as to not ruin your bathroom towels," Gerald said. "You guys want some?"
"One for me, please," May stated, before finally getting up her chair. She took off her sunglasses and placed it on Derek's lap all while smirking at him teasingly. "Keep that safe for me." Then she turned around and walked away from there.
Gerald let out a slow whistle as he asked Derek, "Sure you can handle that?"
Derek, however, couldn't answer, as his eyes were still firmly locked on May's form, staring at her up and down and focusing a little bit on the swell of her buttocks.
When Derek didn't answer, Gerald turned towards Elle. "He always like that?"
Elle smiled, her eyes light in both mirth and genuine joy for her friends. "For her? Yes." Then she nudged Derek's shoulder. "Are you not gonna follow her?"
"Should I?" It seemed like his voice was finally back.
"Of course! Go after her!"
Wading through the gentle waves of Montego Bay, May walked farther away from the shore, wanting to swim in the deeper waters. Once it was waist level, she quickly dived under the clear water to get herself completely wet. Once she resurfaced, she pushed her hair away from her face and looked around, admiring her surroundings. She closed her eyes, breathing in and out as she let herself relax. Her senses calmed, like it did whenever she was home. Only thing she could smell, hear, feel, and even taste, was the ocean.
She opened her eyes, and made eye contact with Derek who had followed her.
"Hi," she said, smiling gently. "Thought I left you there to watch my stuff?"
Derek chuckled deeply. "Elle offered to take care of it."
"And what made her do that?"
"Because I want to enjoy this day with you," he said. She looked at him like he hung the stars, and it was a look that made him want to burst in happiness as his heart pounded in his chest. "Will you let me?"
She walked closer to him and placed a hand on his warm chest. "I'd be stupid not to."
He hummed, looking straight at her. He wasn't that much taller, but he liked how small she looked, pressed against him, looking up at him.
"Will you let me kiss you?" He asked.
She smiled, and repeated her earlier words. "I'd be stupid not to."
And for the first time, their lips met.
May's eyes fluttered close. She could feel the warmth radiating from his body. She could hear the rapid beat of his heart in his chest. She could taste the slight saltiness of his lips due to the saltwater, but it wasn't the thing that her senses were picking up on the most. It was his scent, his natural musky scent that smells like evergreen, reminding her much of home. The hand she had on his chest moved down to his waist as she pulled him even closer, her lips dancing with his.
Derek's left hand slowly drifted down to her waist, while his right moved to cup her cheek. His own eyes closed as he let his instinct guide him. He teased his tongue against her lips, prompting her to open her mouth slightly to allow it to slip in, meeting it with her own muscle. She moaned as she explored his mouth, before gently pulling away for air.
His eyes were dark, lazily meeting hers in an intense stare. He leaned to peck her on the lips again, before his own lips pulled up to half-hearted smirk. "Please tell me that wasn't your first kiss."
She slapped his chest, rolling her eyes. "You are not my first kiss, Derek. Just because I haven't been in a relationship doesn't mean I haven't kissed."
"How good of a kisser was I, then?" There was a playful glint in his eye. "Come on, rate me."
"Best kiss I've ever had," she admitted sheepishly.
"Well, there's more where that came from." Then he kissed her again.
