Well, I'm not going to confirm anything yet, you just have to wait a bit more

I- Sir or Ma'am whoever you are, I don't know if you're unaware but in 2020 itself they revealed that miss Vinnie Kim would appear in the upcoming drama 'Imitation' -_-

What's the concept/storyline of this boy group?

Well once again I'm not going to confirm anything yet, you have to wait

Then uh.. Why is ESPOIR Entertainment different?

I'm not really sure I understand the question well but in case you don't know Espoir actually means hope in French so we kind of wanted to.. uh how do I put it.. not showcase hope more like fulfil the dreams of those hoping to become idols

What impact do you want to make in this industry?

Well... Honestly I'm not sure about 'impact' but honestly I feel like maybe showing that you're happiness shouldn't be the cost for achieving your dreams rather it should be the result

What are the values you want to project?

I feel like what I answered for the previous question is a good enough answer?

What is your inspiration for opening ESPOIR Entertainment?

What was my inspiration... Honestly I don't know, maybe it could be the number of times my fans, Sirius, had told me that they want to become artists or idols but like their family or friends or people who they're close to in general don't support them. My desire to help them out could have been the reason I guess.

How did ESPOIR Entertainment become ESPOIR Entertainment?

Ok , I'll assume that the person means how I started the company. Well, I actually wanted to start the agency back in 2019 itself. I talked to Lee Sooman and considering I even knew Bang PD quite well even back then, so yeah I talked to both of them that I want to start my own company. The two of them promised they would help me out which they did and I'm very thankful for that.

What was your family's reaction when they found out you'd be starting a company?

I was actually visiting my family in London when I told them. My dad was really happy and proud of me, my mom... She started crying out of happiness saying that her baby boy was all grown up and my sister? Her words "Oppa, if you mistreat ANY of them I'll kill you and hide your body in such a place no one will be able to find it" so... yeah, overall they were shocked but happy

How many staff members are there?

Weird question, but including the managers and producers and everybody we have a total of 25 employees. I know not a huge number but it's good and before any of you all ask do I know their names? Yes, I know all of their names

How did you recruit the upcoming artists?

Well that's one of places where Lee Sooman and Bang PD helped. All of the upcoming artists they were actually training under SM and under all the subsidiaries of HYBE, after checking all, yes ALL of the trainee profiles we contacted and spoke with the trainee and families if they wanted to join ESPOIR. I guess this is TMI but actually we had picked many more trainees than we needed so I actually went to all of the companies' monthly evaluations thrice to see the trainees' skills myself

Is ESPOIR accepting trainees?

Not yet, definitely not this year and there is 90% chance that next year also we won't. We first want to focus on our upcoming artists fist then we'll have auditions for trainees

When do you plan to have your next comeback?

My next comeback? Well Sirius... There is a small chance that I might not have one this year, if I do it will be in December I'd say. You see the reason of my hiatus was actually to give time to the ESPOIR kids. Yes, I call them kids but... I might not have one but I'll try my best to have a comeback!

AN: Once again a reminder that the interview happened in April and Vinnie Kim's rumours, the reveal of ACUERDO members happened in May and the Debut was in June.
