"You'd think that a robot like Metalhead would do what me and Donnie programmed him to be, but we had no idea that he was so much more."

THE FIVE MUTANT turtles and Henry were standing in the dojo, watching as Donatello and Briana finished booting up Metalhead while the small robot observed them. "We give you, the new and improved Metalhead!" Donatello said.

"Whoa..." Michelangelo said in awe.

"Bri and I have been upgrading his artificial intelligence, so he'll be the perfect training tool." Donatello explained.

"You sure? Training with Metalhead usually ends up in him breaking something." Leonardo replied, as they all began to circle the robot with their weapons drawn.

"He's programmed to stimulate dozens of fighting styles, including the Foot and the Kranng." Briana added.

"Pssh, can't stimulate my fighting style." Michelangelo said.

"Well, we might as well test him." Henry said.

Eclipse smirked, her kamas drawn. "Let's do this."

Raphael twirled his sais. "Let's just go already." He leapt at the robot, but Metalhead fired up his rockets and flew at Raphael, punching him and knocking him sprawling.

Metalhead landed in front of him, and Leonardo leapt at him from behind. The robot caught his katana, kicked him a few times, and then sent him flying into the wall. Metalhead then threw Leonardo's katana at him, who ducked, and the katana got stuck in the wall above his head.

Donatello lunged at Metalhead, only for the robot to dodge before leaping backwards and grabbing the staff. He spun around, throwing Donatello and his staff across the room.

With his twin swords, Henry came from the left side. A panel opened across Metalhead's eyes and small laser darts shot out at him, as Henry used his twin swords to block, and Metalhead turned his laser's fire on them, backing away.

Eclipse twirled her kamas around from behind the robot and lunged, as the robot caught her kamas. Briana came from behind, bringing her own katana blade down, but Metalhead dodged the sword, slammed Briana into Eclipse, and knocked them both sprawling.

Metalhead then turned to Michelangelo and held out his hand as his fist shot out, slamming into the orange masked mutant turtle and grabbed him by the face.

The robot's fist flew around the dojo, carrying Michelangelo with it. "Get it off!" He screamed.

Raphael got back to his feet and turned to Metalhead, but Michelangelo knocked him right back down again. He slammed into Leonardo, Henry, and Donatello and sent them sprawling before doing the same to Briana and Eclipse as well.

"Yame!" Splinter ordered.

They all knelt in front of him, expect for Michelangelo, who only screamed louder. "Can I get off the ride now?"

"Donatello, Briana." Splinter said sternly.

Briana turned to Metalhead. "Metalhead, stop training program." She told the robot.

The robot beeped, the fist returning to him while Michelangelo collapsed in front of them. "Oh! I think he put my chin up my nose," he groaned.

"I'm sorry, sensei, but overall, I think that was a successful test." Donatello said.

Leonardo glared at him. "Successful? Metalhead almost ripped Mikey's face off!"

"Please, we had it under control." Donatello retorted, crossing his arms over his chest.

"And when you don't?" Leonardo demanded angrily.

"Donatello and Briana have made a powerful tool. It is to our advantage to study an enemy's techniques. But, you must use that tool wisely." Splinter said.

Metalhead started beeping loudly, and Henry winced quietly, covering his ears, which throbbed from the loud sound.

"What's wrong with him now?" Leonardo asked.

"Something tripped the security wires," Briana explained. "It's approaching the lair, fast."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

"THINK IT'S THE Foot Bots again?" Eclipse questioned, as they were all walking through the sewer tunnel.

Boy Danger's ears suddenly pricked at the sound of gunfire and a pained shoutโ€”a shout that sounded way too familiar.

"Was thatโ€”nah, it couldn't be." Raphael said.

Screaming echoes throughout tunnel, and a dark shape emerged from the darkness, running toward them. A mutant, and it was an all-too familiar mutant.

"Spider Bytez!" Michelangelo said.

Eclipse groaned in annoyance. "Ugh, him again?"

"Frogs! Brats! You guys gotta help me! Those foreign triplets are after me!" Spider Bytez shouted.

"For the last time: they are not frogsโ€”" Boy Danger said, before registering the last part of what he said. "Wait, what?"

"Foreign triplets?" Captain Violet questioned. "Uh, you guys don't think he means..."

Spider Bytez bolted before explaining any further. Three kranng droids in their human suits came running after him, shooting at the mutant spider. The seven of them dove out of the way of the shots as Spider Bytez vanished down the tunnel and the droids ran past them.

"They're heading for the surface!" Leonardo said, running after them.

The seven teens quickly climbed up a ladder and pushed open the manhole cover, watching as Spider Bytez argued with the kranng.

"Help! You can't do this to me! I want my phone call! I got rights as a spider! Help! Help!" Spider Bytez yelled as the kranng shoved him into a van.

"They're getting away!" Leonardo said.

Raphael glared at him. "How is that our problem? That slobbering bug gives us nothing but trouble."

"He asked for our help," Leonardo reminded.

"Plus, as much as I don't like either, the kranng want him and I wanna know why." Boy Danger admitted, and Leonardo nodded in agreement.

Raphael groaned. "Fine. So, how are we supposed to catch upโ€”"

Suddenly, tires screeched on the road as the ShellRaiser was suddenly pulling up beside them, the doors opening to reveal Metalhead.

"I called for backup." Donatello replied with a grin.

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

SINCE METALHEAD WAS the one driving, Leonardo was left standing beside him and holding onto the handle on the roof with one hand while Boy Danger was sitting in his seat.

"Nice, guys. When did you teach him how to drive?" Michelangelo asked.

Metalhead made a few sharp turns, swinging the group from side to side and leaving them a bit dazed.

"You guys did teach him to drive, didn't you?" Eclipse questioned.

The kranng van appeared ahead of them and a panel in the slide slid open, a new kranng weapon coming out.

"Huh, that's new." Captain Violet muttered under her breath.

Sure enough, the new weapon fired several rockets at them. "Evasive maneuvers!" Donatello shouted as Metalhead complied quickly, swerving left and right to dodge the rockets. "Deploy garbage cannon!"

Eclipse activated said cannon, shooting at the truck. She managed to hit the rocket launcher and knocked it clean off the side.

"Yeah!" Michelangelo cheered. "Garbage beats kranng rocket!"

"Pull up alongside." Donatello instructed Metalhead.

"Now we're talking," Raphael said. He, Donatello, and Eclipse climbed on top of the ShellRaiser. "This bug better be worth it." He commented.

They jumped over onto the van. The kranng quickly took notice and swerved, trying to shake them. Both Eclipse and Raphael managed to stay on, but Donatello was flung off to the side. Luckily, he managed to get his staff caught between the vehicles to keep from falling.

"A little help?" He called up.

His staff slipped, but Eclipse quickly grabbed his wrist. "Gotcha!"

A droid emerged from the roof, aiming its gun at them. Raphael took his sais and used one to knock the blaster out of the droid's hands before stabbing the droid's head with his other sai, and then he sent the droid flying off the roof. Raphael, Eclipse, and Donatello jumped back onto the ShellRaiser, and Metalhead rammed the ShellRaiser into the van, sending it careening into an alley. A second later, the ShellRaiser crashed into a car and once the doors opened, Leonardo, Boy Danger, Captain Violet, and Michelangelo came out coughing from the smoke.

"There's no way out of there," Boy Danger said, looking at the alley where the van crashed. He glanced back to see Metalhead emerged from the van and Raphael, Eclipse, and Donatello jumped down from the roof.

"Metalhead, stay with the ShellRaiser before you blow anything else up." Leonardo ordered the robot, after sharing a look with Boy Danger.

"He stopped the van, didn't he?" Donatello demanded.

"Aw, he can help!" Captain Violet added, patting the robot. "Besides, the kranng knows we're coming."

Metalhead held out both arms, and one hand transformed into his gun, while the other became a flamethrower. Makeshift wings popped out from his back and he floated a couple feet into the air, leaving Donatello and Captain Violet to grin proudly at the robot. Boy Danger and Leonardo shared a glance before the two leaders sighed, "Fine, he can come."

They entered the crash site stealthily before letting out battle cries and leaping out of hiding. However, the kranng droids and Spider Bytez had vanished.

"Huh? They just disappeared?" Raphael asked.

"That's impossible," Donatello stated.

"What's your theory, then? They turned invisible?" Eclipse retorted at him.

Michelangelo couldn't help but let out a dramatic gasp. "The kranng can turn invisible now!?"

Eclipse couldn't help facepalmed while Raphael rolled his eyes at him.

"There must be a secret door or a hidden passageway somewhere." Donatello said.

"Fan out," Leonardo told them.

They scatter around the room, looking for any secret passageways. "Metalhead, use your scanners to check the structure for any hidden rooms or passageways." Donatello said.

Metalhead flew up to the middle of the room. His eyes turning blue, and lasers scanned the room. A chill went up Boy Danger's spine as it passed over him and he shivered.

Michelangelo giggled. "It tickles!"

Leonardo crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "Tickle ray? Real useful upgrade, Donnie." He said sarcastically.

"It's actually a three-dimensional volumetric scan," Captain Violet explained. Metalhead stopped scanning and beeped at Donatello and Captain Violet. "But that doesn't make any sense. There should be tire marks or a seam in the floor, but the kranng left no trace at all, just some junk, andโ€”"

A sudden gasp grabbed their attention, as they all turned to find Michelangelo at a vending machine. "Super Macho Burrito? Whoo, yes! It's the ultimate combination of pizza and burrito. Pizzarito! It's super and macho." He started shaking the vending machine. When shaking it, he started hitting it, jumping on it, kicking it, and smacking it with his nunchucks, but none of them worked. He sighed. "I'm going in." He stuck his arm through the slot to try and reach the arm.

Boy Danger walked over, crossing his arms. "Mikey, do you have any idea how long that's been in there?"

"Who cares?" Michelangelo responded, trying to pull his arm back. "Super and macho. Lengua y queso."

"Your arm's stuck, isn't it?"

He tried to pull his arm out with a grunt. "Possibly," he replied with another grunt. "Maybe... on purpose."

Boy Danger shook his head, grabbing his legs and pulling. Then, the two of them fell back as the vending machine snapped open to reveal hidden kranng tech inside.

"Whoa... it's like a vending machine from the future." Michelangelo said in awe.

"Is that a kranng computer?" Eclipse demanded.

Donatello nodded. "Yep. Mikey, you're a genius." He ran over to the computer with Captain Violet close behind.

"That's how I roll." Michelangelo said proudly.

"Can that computer tell us where the kranng went?" Leonardo asked.

"Metalhead, see if you can access its database. It should tell us where they disappeared to." Captain Violet said, as Metalhead then plugged into the computer with a beep.

Boy Danger looked a bit skeptical, remembering what happened the last time with Metalhead and the kranng.

Leonardo looked skeptical as well as he gave Donatello and Captain Violet an uncertain look. "Uh, are you sure plugging Metalhead into unknown kranng tech is a good idea?"

"Trust me, Leo," Donatello said with a chuckle. "The kranng processor in Metalhead makes him perfectly compatible with their computers. What could go wrong?"

A second later, Metalhead started short-circuiting and the vending machine exploded, throwing them back. The seven teens coughed, pushing themselves back onto their feet.

"Great, not only did we lose the kranng, but Metalhead blew up our only clue to where they went." Leonardo said angrily.

Michelangelo pouted. "Even worse, he blew up my Super Macho Burrito."

As Metalhead got up, Captain Violet and Donatello walked over to him. "It must've been some kind of energy surge. You okay, little buddy?"

Metalhead beeped and gave them a thumbs up. Though the robot glitched, shooting his hand and making it fly around the room.

"Oh, no," Michelangelo ducked, sighing when the hand missed him, only for it come back and grab his face again.

"Seems fine to me." Eclipse stated.

The hand released Michelangelo, who fell to the floor. "Gah! Can we go home now, please?"

"What about the kranng?" Leonardo asked.

"What about them?" Raphael questioned with a shrug. "Spider Bytez is their problem now."

"That's the thing: Spider Bytez is useless to the kranng," Boy Danger said. "So, why on earth would they want him for?"

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

"METALHEAD'S MEMORY CORE isn't too badly damaged." Donatello told them once they got back to the lair and were standing inside of the lab. Both Donatello and Briana had Metalhead hooked up to the computerโ€”and Michelangelo was playing with the robot's mouth.

Donatello slapped his hand away. "Stop it, Mikey." He looked at the turtle robot. "It seems that the kranng security algorithms were too complex to decrypt."

"Less science-y, more English-y." Raphael retorted.

"We should be able to retrieve what he downloaded from the kranng computer," Donatello explained while he repeatedly pushed away Michelangelo's head from the robot's mouth. "Mikey!"

Michelangelo poked Metalhead, making the robot glitch and punch his arm. "Ow!"

"He might take a little time to fix, though." Briana admitted, pushing the robot's arm down.

"How long?" Henry asked.

"Well, in technical terms..." Briana started as Metalhead's arms raised, his hand shooting out. "A while."

Michelangelo caught the hand that went after him, trying to keep it away from his face. But the other one grabbed the back of his head, making him release the first hand, which attached to his face. Once they were able to get the robot's hands off of him, the others left the lab while Donatello and Briana stayed to work on the Metalheadโ€”both Leonardo and Henry were sitting on the steps outside of the lab.

"Duck!" The others heard, before a fist shot out of the lab.

Raphael, over by the punching dummy, kicked the fist down before it hit him. "We know the kranng rebuilt TCRI. What if they got the portal working again?"

"That's what we need to find out." Henry responded, ducking a moment later to avoid getting hit by the lasers coming from the lab.

"How's it going, guys?" Leonardo called inside.

"Not bad!" Donatello responded before screaming a moment later as fire shot out the doors, and him running out to avoid it.

"Okay, Donnie, you and Bri have been working all night." Henry said.

"It's late, give it a rest." Leonardo added in agreement.

"We've almost got it," Donatello said as he stood up. "We're just working out the bugs andโ€”"

"No, no, no, no!" Briana suddenly shouted from inside the lab. "You guys are gonna wanna duck!" Then, Metalhead suddenly shot out more lasers out of the doors of the labโ€”ones that exploded the moment they hit the floor as they all ducked.

Donatello flipped down his welder's mask and pulled out a wrench before running back inside the lab while the others shared a glance with each other.

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

WHAT WAS ANOTHER round of hours flew by as Donatello was still working on Metalhead while Briana had fallen asleep at the desk by the time that Leonardo and Henry went back into the lab.

"Donnie, you gotta shut down his A.I." Leonardo said.

"Shut down his A.I.? But that would be like turning off his brain." Donatello said.

"He's just too dangerous." Leonardo said.

"We need him, guys," Donatello said. "The kranng and the Foot are armed up more than ever."

Henry sighed. "We get it, Donnie. I'll admit that Metalhead helps out a lot in some situations but even before he plugged himself into the kranng computer, he was still glitchy a bit."

"And he was taken over by the kranng once already," Leonardo added. "Are you sure that you and Bri trust him?"

When Donatello didn't answer yet, Henry added. "If you said that you two trust him, Donnie, then we'll drop it."

Donatello thought it over for a while before he sighed. "Maybe you guys are right. I'll take care of it."

"Sorry, Donnie." Leonardo said, patting his shoulder and Henry gave him a small smile before the two left the lab.

A few moments later, the sound of Donatello's screams were enough to make Briana jolt awoke as she suddenly stood up from the desk, looking over to find him stuck in the algae pool upside down. She ran over just as the others barged into the lab and ran over as well.

"Donnie, what are you doing?" Raphael asked.

"Yeah, dude, you know better than go algae diving without a spotter." Michelangelo teased as they all pulled out by his feet. Then, they all turned their attention to the door as it closed.

Henry tried to open it. "Locked."

"Open this door, you oversized toaster!" Raphael yelled.

"What about the garage door?" Leonardo asked.

"Nope, he welded it shut." Briana said, after trying the garage door.

Leonardo sighed. "Donnie, I told you he was dangerous. Now he's probably out there trashing the city."

All of a sudden, Michelangelo started screaming and pounding on the doors. "Help! Help! Somebody! Killer robot on the loose!"

Eclipse pulled him away from the door. "What are you doing? You don't want Splinter toโ€”"

The door opened before she could finish to show Splinter on the other side of the door. "Do you children have any idea what time it is?" He asked angrily.

"Uh, pizza time?" Michelangelo asked sheepishly.

"Why was the door locked?" Splinter asked bluntly.

They all laughed nervously as they tried to come up with an excuse.

"Ah, you knowโ€”"

"Just messing around."

"No reason."

"Yep, just locking ourselves in rooms at night... like usual."

"Metalhead tried to kill us!" Michelangelo said quickly, earning glares from the others expect from Briana.

"Leonardo? Henry?" Splinter asked, leaning down to meet their eyes.

Both Henry and Leonardo shared a nervous glance with the other. "The truth is, sensei... we gotta meet April at Murakami's. Big mutant sushi problem. We'll be back before dawn." Leonardo replied quickly as he and the others bolted out of the lab. "Don't wait up for us!"

Splinter only stood there, sighing while he shook his head. "Teenagers."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

INSIDE THE SHELLRAISER, Leonardo was driving down the street. "Metalhead couldn't have gotten far," Donatello said. "If his tracking device is still activeโ€”let's see, hmm. Oh, there! Make a left at the next block, Leo!"

Leonardo turned left as instructed and parked next to a torn-down building. They piled out of the vehicle and glanced around, searching for the robot. By the time they spotted him, they watched as Metalhead looked open before opening a port-a-potty and walked inside.

"Going into a port-a-potty?" Raphael asked.

"Why would he go in there?" Eclipse asked.

"Maybe he has to change his oil." Michelangelo said.

Leonardo unsheathed his katana, opening the door but found nothing insideโ€”not even Metalhead was inside.

"Wait, I saw this on a magic show," Michelangelo said quickly. "There's a secret door down here." He stuck his head inside the toilet. "Hello?" He pulled back quickly, the door slamming shut. "Ugh! Definitely not a secret door." He coughed. "I think I'm gonna hurl."

"You put your nose down a portable toilet," Boy Danger said. "What were you expecting?"

Michelangelo opened the door, revealing a kranng portal as everyone gasped. Then, Michelangelo quickly shut the door.

"What was that?" Leonardo asked.

Donatello opened the door, only to find the toilet again. "I don't understand." He shuts the door. "Itโ€”it was just..." he knocked on the door, studying the port-a-potties as he tried to figure out how to make the portal reappear.

Michelangelo opened the door, the portal reappearing. "Um, ta-da!"

"What?" Donatello shut the door, then opened it. No portal. He repeated it a few times. Nothing. "Whaโ€”how did...?"

Captain Violet stepped forward, closing the door. Then, she opened it, revealing the kranng portal.

"Whaโ€”are you..." Donatello closed the door and then opened it, but there was no portal. Again, he repeated it a few times but still nothing. "How did you two do that?"

"We just got the touch," Michelangelo responded. "LTDโ€”like a turtle do." He shut the door and opened it again and the portal reappeared.

"It's some kind of dimensional gateway likeโ€”like the kranng portal." Donatello said.

"Well, that explains how they disappeared earlier." Eclipse said.

Donatello leaned closer. "Hmm... I wonder ifโ€”" he poked his finger through the portal, only to start getting pulled in. "Whoa! Guys!"

"Donnie!" Both Leonardo and Boy Danger grabbed his hand, trying to pull him back, only to get sucked in with him.

Raphael, Eclipse, Michelangelo, and Captain Violet glanced at each other before shrugging, and then jumped into the portal. They all managed to land onto their feet, expect for Michelangelo, who hit a few tubes on the way down and landed on the floor on his stomach. They hid quickly, taking cover from the droid who'd come and check the commotion. Then, they glanced back up at the portal to find it shrinking.

"The portal! It's closing!" Donatello said.

"No turning back now." Raphael said.

"So, is this Dimension X?" Leonardo asked.

"If it was, we probably wouldn't be able to breathe," Donatello replied. "My guess isโ€”"

"Not Dimension X," Raphael interrupted. "Got it."

"Uh, guys," Eclipse called, gaining their attention. "I found where they took Spider Bytez." She pointed to a floating platform, and there was a mutant spider, cornered by kranng droids and pushed into some kind of cage.

"Hey, fella. Can we talk about this?" Spider Bytez asked. "I know bugs in high places. I couldโ€”" one of the droids shot him, and the spider stopped as a casing appeared around him.

"Wait till I get out of here!"

Boy Danger felt his eyes widened a little. "Isn't thatโ€”"

"Spike?" Raphael asked, looking for the mutated turtle. He spotted him trapped just like Spider Bytez.

"I'm gonna break every tentacle on your pinkโ€”" the same thing injected into Spider Bytez was shot at Slash.

"You alien freaks are so screwed when I get out!"

Captain Violet felt her stomach dropped at the sound of her voice. "Max?" She said quietly. She looked up and spotted Max trapped just like Slash and Spider Bytez.

"Oh, I can't wait toโ€”" Max was cut off when one of the kranng droids shot him.

The group looked around at all the cells, eyes widening. "It looks like a prison." Donatello said.

"Snakeweed?" Michelangelo asked. "Dr. Rockwell?"

Donatello gasped. "Mr. O'Neil! We've gotta get him out of here."

Captain Violet continued to look around and spotted a familiar mutant bird in one of the cages. "Ms. Walker?" She questioned.

Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo quickly climbed up to Kirby's cell, taking out the guards while Boy Danger, Raphael, Eclipse, and Captain Violet did the same by climbing up to Emma's cell, taking out the guards.

"Uh, guys?" Leonardo called, looking off the platform.

"Metalhead!" Donatello exclaimed. The robot was using the kranng computer.

"Is he working for the kranng?" Boy Danger asked.

"Dude, I knew something didn't feel right when he grabbed my face." Michelangelo said.

"Well, now you know how Donnie feels with Leatherhead." Eclipse said.

"He came here to free the mutants," Captain Violet said. "All along, we thought he was going crazy, but he's here just to save them."

"Guys," Raphael said, looking over to see kranng droids approaching the turtle robot. "We got company."

"We gotta help him!" Both Donatello and Captain Violet jumped off the platform.

"Donnie, Vi, wait!" Leonardo called.

But it was too late, as both Donatello and Captain Violet jumped down and landed on their ground, drawing their weapons and fighting back against the kranng. The others jumped down as more droids appeared, drawing their own weapons and fighting back as well.

"Kranng, release the mutant captives that are controlled by Kranng." One droid ordered before getting shot down.

Another droid released the cells around Spider Bytez and Snakeweed, and the two mutants jumped down.

"The ones that are turtles and humans that I call frogs and brats must be... destroyed!" Spider Bytez said, stabbing at them with his sharpened legs.

"Is it me, or is Spider Bytez a lot less Spider Bytez and more kranng-y?" Michelangelo questioned.

More kranng droids and the two controlled mutants began to surround the seven teens. "Exterminate all mutants." A droid ordered.

"So, what do we do, fearless leaders?" Raphael asked the two.

"Open to suggestions." Both Leonardo and Boy Danger said in unison.

Metalhead flew over to the droid at the control mechanism, taking it out and ripping its arm off. He placed the droid's hand on the controls, taking control of the other mutants and making them destroy the mind control devices on their heads.

"The device that is the control device is no longer controlling," a droid stated as the kranng droids turned to face the two mutants.

Snakeweed knocked two of the droids back with his vines, and Spider Bytez melted the other with a glob of acid.

"Frogs, brats, are you getting me out of here, or do I gotta do it myself!?" Spider Bytez snapped.

"Metalhead, see if you can open a portal," Captain Violet said. "We're getting out of here."

"Right," Leonardo agreed. "All of usโ€”mutants too."

Metalhead plugged into the computer, opening the cells and the portal back home. "Metalhead did it. He opened the portal," Donatello exclaimed.

The mutants, freed from their cells, started fighting with the teens, making quick work of the droids as the mutants made their way up and through the portal.

"The machine that opened the portal must close the portal," a droid called. Metalhead closed the portal as the droid shot at him.

"Metalhead, you gotta keep the portal open!" Donatello called.

The robot nodded, reopening the portal.

"Let's get out of here," Eclipse said as she and the others jumped up the cells.

Captain Violet stopped on one of the cells, spotting two of the kranng droids tasing Kirby. She was about to go help him, when the sound of a screech was heard as she looked over to her right to see two kranng droids tasing Emma as well. She looked over at Donatello and the two shared a nod. As Donatello went to save Kirby with Leonardo, Captain Violet went to save Emma with Michelangelo. Both Captain Violet and Michelangelo knocked the two droids off of Emma's platform.

"Miss. Walker," Captain Violet said, noticing the mutant bird's fear. "Get out of here, pleaseโ€”for Kaz. Go! Now!" Emma then spread her wings and flew up, right through the portal.

"Metalhead, we're leaving," Boy Danger called down to the robot, as Captain Violet, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Donatello jumped up to join the others just below the portal.

"Come on, you tin can!" Raphael shouted. "Move!"

Both Captain Violet and Donatello felt their faces fell as they realized something. "He has to keep the portal open for us." Captain Violet said softly.

"But what about him?" Eclipse asked.

"We don't have a choice." Donatello said.

Droids advanced on Metalhead and he started shooting at them. He paused long enough to look up and point toward the portal, gesturing for the others to go. Leonardo, Boy Danger, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Eclipse leaped quickly through the portal.

"Metalhead," Captain Violet said softly.

Metalhead looked up at them, giving a thumbs up. Donatello sighed, returning the gesture before he jumped up through the portal. Captain Violet gave the robot a small smile, returning the thumbs up as well. Then, she turned and jumped up through the portal as well. The two teens flew out of a post box, landing on the street as the box disappeared with a pop.

Captain Violet felt her stomach dropped when she saw Metalhead's head on the pavement.

"Metalhead? Oh, no," Donatello crawled over to the head and picked it up, Captain Violet kneeling beside him.

"Dude, he saved us." Michelangelo said.

"He saved all of us," Eclipse added.

"Donnie, Vi, you two were right." Leonardo said.

"We should've trusted you two." Boy Danger added.

"We programmed him to be intelligent, but we didn't realize how much he'd evolved." Captain Violet admitted, as she and Donatello stood up with the purple masked mutant turtle holding the robot's head.

"I didn't really mind it when he grabbed my face," Michelangelo added. "His hands were soft... for a robot."

Donatello smiled slightly. "Thanks, Mikey."

"Do you two think you'll try building another Metalhead?" Raphael asked.

Captain Violet and Donatello shared a look with each other.

"Maybe we will... one day."

"I know you're probably wondering if Donnie and I ever do rebuilt Metalhead. Well... you're gonna have to keep reading to find out."
