"Okay, let's do a backtrack here. Remember Snakeweed? The guy that got turned into the first mutant we've faced? Yeah, that Snakeweed! Long story short; he's back for now and, uh, well... he's not the only one we dealt with."

THE TEAM OF heroes were running after Snakeweed and just up ahead, a pizza delivery guy was riding his motorcycle through the streets. Then, Snakeweed jumped over the guy as he ran, one of his Venus flytrap hands grabbed onto the guy. The guy then screamed in terror as he snatched off his bike and was currently getting dragged off. "No!" Michelangelo shouted. "Not the pizza guy! Take Donnie!"

"Snakeweed's getting away!" Donatello said, after sending a pointed glare at his brother.

The seven of them sped up, trying to catch up. Then, Snakeweed made a sudden turn and lunged into a alleyway. But just as the seven teenagers reached the alley, Leonardo halted and held up his hand, signaling for them to stop. "We've got him trapped."

"Good!" Raphael said as he drew his sais. "Then let's go weed-whacking!"

But even as he stepped forward, Leonardo held out his arm to stop him quickly. "Hang on, Raph. We're not charging a twelve-foot, regenerating mutant."

"Then what are we doing?" Raphael snapped irritated.

"We'll take Snakeweed from above," Leonardo said as he pointed towards the roof. "Tie him up in the clothes lines. C'mon." He turned and hopped up, climbing the side of the building and making his way to the top.

But Raphael didn't like that plan one bit. "That'll take forever! And we have to stop Snakeweed now! I mean, he's kidnapping people!"

"Not just people!" Michelangelo piped up. "People who bring pizza!"

"We take him from above!" Leonardo said firmly. "Let's move!"

The rest of the others followed his lead and once they made it to the top, Leonardo ran to the edge. "On my count," he whispered as he reached for his swords. "One... two..." he drew them and the others did the same with their weapons. "Three!" They all stepped forward and looked over the edge of the building into the alleyway, just to find it empty.

"Where'd he...?" Leonardo trailed off.

"And the award for worst leader goes to..." Raphael said, a glare pointed towards the blue masked mutant turtle.

"How am I the worst leader?" Leonardo demanded.

"If we did this my way, Snakeweed would be toast by now!" Raphael snapped.

Michelangelo shuddered. "Ugh... that'd be some nasty toast..."

Donatello, Boy Danger, Eclipse, and Captain Violet glanced at each other before quickly taking a step back. Boy Danger and Donatello even pulled Michelangelo back away from the two arguing turtles, already knowing what was going on.

Captain Violet bit her lips uneasily, her sapphire blue eyes looking down a little as she shifted uncomfortably. Just like it was with Henry and Eclipse, she was the one other person that can get one of their arguments to come to a end but the one thing that she hated was when both Leonardo and Raphael would bring her into the argument on both sides as if she would choose one of their sides in the argument. She usually ended up running off and hiding somewhere whenever this happened because she's never been able to pick sides, unlike Henry and Eclipse who never picked sides either and just brought an end to the argument instead.

"This way would've worked if you hadn't wasted time and second-guessed my orders!" Leonardo snapped angrily.

"Well, don't give bad orders, and I won't second-guess them!" Raphael retorted.

Captain Violet looked between the two arguing turtles with a frown on her face. Then, she backed up into the shadows when nobody was watching her and before they could realize, she took off and left the rooftop.

"Well, why don't we see what Violet thinks then?" Leonardo questioned angrily.

"Fine then!" Raphael agreed. "Let's do it!"

"Good luck with that, cause she's not here," Eclipse said as she, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Boy Danger realized that she wasn't standing with them anymore.

"Where did she go?" Leonardo asked.

"We don't know, she probably left while you guys were fighting."

"Guess someone scared her off," Raphael said with a pointed glare towards the blue masked mutant turtle.

Boy Danger sighed as the two mutant turtles went back to arguing while he, Donatello, Eclipse, and Michelangelo stood there.

"You know what, Raph?" Leonardo said, finally giving in. "If you think you could do better, why don't you be leader?"

"First good idea you've had all day," Raphael said firmly.

Michelangelo walked up. "I got this. We'll compromise. I'll be leader."

Immediately, both Leonardo and Raphael turned to glare daggers at Michelangelo, fire in their eyes. Michelangelo then quickly stepped back, standing next to Donatello, Eclipse, and Boy Danger again while the blue masked and the red masked mutant turtles turned back to each other.

"Fine, Raph, I'm outta here." Leonardo said, and with that, he turned and walked away.

"I can't believe he's gone," Michelangelo said miserably.

"Aw, don't worry, Mikey," Donatello said, putting a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Leo, uh... he just needs some space." The orange masked mutant turtle to give him a deadpanned look. "You meant the pizza guy, didn't you?"

"Yeah..."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

CAPTAIN VIOLET STOOD on a empty rooftop with a frown on her face. Every time it happened, she hated whenever Leonardo and Raphael fought with each other. Even when they were kids, she's always hated when they fought, especially when she knew that they could get along if they tried to do. Sighing, she reached into her pocket and took out her bubblegum case, taking out one of her bubblegums and tossing it into her mouth. She chewed it for a while and then blew a bubble, letting it pop once it was big enough. A glowing, green light formed around her and once the light was gone, her Captain Violet outfit was gone and she was back in normal clothing.

Briana walked towards the edge of the rooftop, looking out towards the view of the city. "Why do they always have to fight?" she said to herself. "I know Leo and Raph can get along if they stop being so stubborn."

"Maybe I should lock them in a room?" She said, before she shook her head. "No, they'll kill each other if I did that."

"You always talk to yourself?"

Briana couldn't help but let out a yelp of surprise as she spun around, coming face to face with a teenage boy she didn't recognized that looked like to be around her age. He had straight, short, dark brown hair, a pale complexion, a blue shirt, grey jeans, and blue sneakers with white laces on it. He was slightly a bit taller than Briana, probably around Donatello's height, and she'd be lying if she didn't said that he wasn't attractive but, of course, Briana didn't think he was more attractive than Kazโ€”she didn't think that she could ever meet someone that was more attractive than him.

"Oh, not really," Briana admitted with a nervous smile. "I'm usually with my siblings or one of my friends. Uh, so, how did you know I was here?"

"Oh, I live in this apartment building," he lied. "I heard a thud on the roof and came to check what it was. That was when I saw you."

Briana couldn't help but get nervous, worried that he saw her detransformed but when he didn't seem to question about it, she pushed the worry aside and gave him a friendly smile. "So, what's your name?" She asked.

"Cameron Chandler, but just Cameron is fine," he said. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Princess Briana."

Briana felt her eyes widened at the last two words that left his lips before she frowned slightly. "You're the third person to call me that. Look, I'm sorry, but that's not me."

"It is you," Cameron explained the best he could. "You just don't remember since your motherโ€”Queen Twilight Sparkle erased your memories from when you were born before she sent you away."

Briana blinked at those words. "So, my own parents just gave me up then? Sorry to tell you this, but I already knew that part. I've told myself that my whole life."

"But you don't know why they did it." Cameron added.

"And you do? But you're not going to tell me for whatever reason?" Briana questioned, his silence was what she needed as an answer. "Yeah, I kinda figure that out since I just keep getting questions and questions with no answers."

Cameron remained silent for a while, looking at Briana up and down. He bit his lip as his heartbeat quickened its pace, reminding himself to stick with the plan as he thought of a way to do so.

"How about this, Princess?" Cameron said, Briana didn't noticed him trying to flirt with her by using her supposed-title as a nickname. "Meet me back here later tonight and I'll tell you about your home."

"How do I know this isn't a trap?" Briana asked, raising an eyebrow at this.

"If I wanted to trap you, don't you think I would've did it by now?" Cameron asked.

Briana stayed quiet before she sighed and smiled at him. "I guess you have a point there," she said. "Okay, fine, I'll meet you back here then."

Cameron smirked as he winked at her.

"I'll see you here then, my Princess."

"DONNIE, WE HAVE to find Snakeweed's lair." Raphael told the purple masked mutant turtle that was sitting at his desk.

"Working on it." Donatello answered.

"Work faster!"

"Do you think yelling is gonna help?"

Henry watched the exchange between the two mutant turtles. As the second-in-command, he knows that he should be stepping in and he plans tooโ€”at some point but to him, he also thinks that if Raphael wants to be the leader then, he should at least learn that it's not as easy as he thinks it is. Although, he knows that Raphael has a hard time with his anger and with not wanting to be seen as weak, he also knows that he could also be a great leaderโ€”maybe, not right now, but he can see some traits in Raphael that would make a great leader one day. But till then, he supposes that Raphael would have to learn that being a leader isn't so easy like he thinks it is.

The door opens and everyone looks over to see Leonardo walking in with red eyes. "Leo's back!" Michelangelo said. "And he's been crying!" He jumps up from his chair and runs over to him, hugging him. "Aw, you missed us!"

Leonardo rolled his eyes, moving his youngest brother off him. "I got hit with blinding powder."

"Sure," Michelangelo said with a smirk. "Big softie."

Raphael, his arms still folded, stepped in front of him. "And where have you been?"

"Don't you see how that's your business." Leonardo retorted.

"Fine, whatever."

With one look between the two brothers, the tension could easily be detected. "Dudes, can't we just be cool with each other?" Michelangelo wrapped his arms around Leonardo and Raphael, trying to bring them closer. "Let's hug this out." Raphael then elbowed the orange masked mutant turtle, who let out a pained grunt as he hunched over, rubbing his plastron as Raphael walked away. "Okay..." he said hoarsely. "Now the healing can begin..."

Leonardo looked around his siblings and noticed someone missing still. "Where's Bri?"

"She's not back yet." Eclipse told him.

Still rubbing his plastron a little, Michelangelo smirked. "She's probably hanging out with her boyfriend."

"Hey!" Donatello piped up from his seat. "I think I've figured out where Snakeweed's hideout is!"

"Where?" Henry asked.

"Okay," Donatello pointed down to the map. "The radial pattern of recent Snakeweed sightings indicates his lair is actually at the epicenter of 47th andโ€”"

"Actually," Raphael cut in, looking directly at Leonardo. "You're on a need-to-know basis. And guess what? You don't need to know."

Leonardo frowned. "Hm."

Without another word, he turned and left the lair.

BRIANA KNOCKED ON the window and waited on the fire escape ladder for it to opened. She watched as April opened her window with a confused look on her face when she spotted her friend standing there. "Bri? What's going on?"

"Hey," Briana said nervously as she played around with her fingers. "I, uh, I met someoneโ€”a boy."

"I thought you liked Kaz."

Briana felt herself blushed at the mention of their other friend. "I do," she said. "This isn't like that. This is different."

"Okay, tell me everything." April said.

"So, you know how I've been curious about my... you know?" Briana questioned, hoping that she knew what she was talking about since Briana herself has never spoken a word about wanting to know more about her parents or where she's from due to it confirming her own worst fears. At her friend's nod, she continued. "Well, he said that he could tell me about where I'm from cause apparently, he's from there too. I mean, I know it's a long shot but... what if he does? This could be my chance to find out more about my parents, where I'm from, and myself. I should take it, right?"

"Normally I'd said yes, but," April said. "How do you know if he's telling the truth?"

"When me and the others first met Bradford, he called me Princess Briana and so did Xever when we fought him for the first time too. And Jake says that he's my cousin, and he says that Sensei's been lying to me my whole life," Briana explained. "And then, I meet Cameron and he calls me Princess Briana."

"Princess, like the lost princess of the Crystal Empire we're learning about in history class? I thought that was a myth." April said.

"I know, I do too. I don't believe it either but..." Briana said as she trailed off at first. "Almost everyone I meet calls me that. I have to know why. But, April, I'm serious... what if this is my chance to learn more?"

April stared at her and as she did, she could see the hope burning bright in Briana's sapphire blue eyes. As much as she didn't believe it herself, April didn't find it in her to burst that hopeโ€”that hope that Briana had of hoping and hoping to find the truth about herself, her parents, and so much more. If anything, April was amazed at how much hope Briana could have and sure, after getting to know the girl after she first met her and the others, April had to agree with the others that Briana was naive about how the world was all rainbows and cupcakes to herโ€”about how everything would always go right when reality didn't work like that. But still, she couldn't do it.

April couldn't find it in her to burst that bubble of hope.

Because to April and to anyone that has met her, Briana was a ball of sunshine with a big bubble of hope that had to be protected from the harsh and cruel realities of the world.

And so, April smiled softly at her. "I mean, if you think it could be your chance then, go for it, Bri. You deserve to know and I'll support you no matter what."

Briana smiled.

"Thanks, April."

"MAN, IT REALLY stinks down here." Michelangelo said after sniffing the lair of the sewers as they walked through, heading towards Snakeweed's lair.

"Of course, it stinks, Mikey," Eclipse said. "It's the sewers."

"I mean more than usual." Michelangelo said as he sniffed again. "Ugh, where does this stuff come from anyway?"

"Uh, Mikey, it's, um..." Donatello then whispered the next parts to him.

"What!? Don't they know we're living down here?" Michelangelo shouted.

"No, Mikey, they don't." Boy Danger said.

"Keep it down, guys." Raphael said.

"Wow, you sound like Leo." Donatello said.

"You say that one more time, and I'll shove your head in this sewage." Raphael warned.

"And now, you sound like you again." Donatello said annoyed.

Once they finally found the mutant weed's lair, they stepped inside. "Whoa." Michelangelo said.

"Come on, Snakeweed's lair should be around the corner." Donatello said, not having look up from his map.

"You don't said." Raphael said.

"Donnie." Eclipse said, lowering the map for him.

They walked around the lair and noticed people trapped in some sort of cocoon. Michelangelo gasped. "And he's growing humans."

"He's not growing them, shellbrain. He's holding them captive." Donatello explained.

"For what? He's a plant, he can't eat them." Eclipse said.

"He's probably turning them into fertilizer." Donatello said.

"Ugh, is that really where fertilizer comes from?" Michelangelo asked.

"Actually, most fertilizer comes from..." Donatello whispered the rest to him again.

"What!? Is there anything that doesn't come from that?" Michelangelo asked.

"Hey, guys, let's focus here, okay?" Boy Danger said. "Let's get them out of here."

And with that, they all freed the humans and once the humans were waking up, they made sure they weren't spotted by them, only coming out once every human was gone.

"Not only was that a job well done, it was a job well done without Leo." Raphael said with a smirk.

"My fertilizer!" Snakeweed yelled, getting their attention as they whirled around.

"What now, boss?" Michelangelo asked.

Immediately, they took their weapons out and began fighting. The only difference was that with Raphael's leadership, he didn't make a plan and instead jumped right in for the fighting, which was why they were losing the fight badly. "Raph! We need a plan!" Boy Danger called out.

"Go for the head! Fifth time's the charm!" Raphael said while Boy Danger facepalmed.

"Mikey!" Both Donatello and Eclipse called out when Snakeweed smacked him off, causing the orange masked mutant turtle to hit the wall and fell. The only thing is he wasn't waking up.

Raphael instantly ran over to him while Donatello, Eclipse, and Boy Danger kept Snakeweed back and at bay. "Ah! Come on, Mikey, wake up! Don't do this to me!" Raphael said before calling out to the others when he didn't wake up. "Mikey's down!"

"Then, what do we do now, Raph?" Eclipse called.

Raphael froze at those words, his emerald green eyes going between all of them while his brain kept panicking. In a situation like this, he knew what he'd do; risk his own life for theirs, he'd do it without hesitating once but having his brothers and his sisters risk theirs? He hated the very thought of that happening and just seeing his youngest brother laid on the ground, not waking up... he was terrified.

Seeing as how Raphael was panicking, Boy Danger immediately switched into his mode. "Donnie, Clips!" He called, doing a few hand motions that Snakeweed wouldn't understand.

Once the two mutant turtles got the signals, the plan was set into motion. Eclipse used her kamas to cut Snakeweed's Venus flytrap hands off, only for them to start regrowing again just as Donatello tied Snakeweed off and Boy Danger threw a smoke bomb into the mutant weed's face, giving them time to run over to where the other mutant turtles were.

"Raphael!" Boy Danger called out, grabbing him by his shoulders as he shook him back to reality. "Snap out of it! It won't hold him for long so, let's grab Mikey and go!"

Donatello and Eclipse grabbed Michelangelo and they all took off running, leaving the lair while Snakeweed called out, "I'm coming for you! You hear me? I'm coming for you!"

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

"KAZ. KAZ?" LEONARDO said as he knocked on the window. He had asked April for her opinion and now, he hoped he could get Kaz for his opinion too to see what his options are on whenever or not he should trust Karai. It was a bit later on during the night and he hoped that he was still awoke.

"Leo? This better be good." Kaz said, opening the window.

"Hey, I need to talk."

"Can it wait till morning?"

"I met a girl." Leonardo said.

Kaz felt his eyes widened. "Tell me everything." He immediately said.

"Well, she's really cool, she's also a martial artist, and, uh, she's in the Foot Clan." Leonardo said.

Kaz blinked at the last words before he smacked the back of his head. "Are you crazy?" He asked.

"Kaz, she's different. She's..." Leonardo started but trailed off.

"In the Foot Clan." Kaz finished.

"Yeah, but she's..."

"In the Foot Clan."

"Look, I know I shouldn't be hanging out with her." Leonardo said.

"Yeah, you got that right. And you wanna know why? Cause she's in the Foot Clan!" Kaz yelled.

"Kaz, she's fun, and I'm tired of being the responsible one. When do I get to have fun?" Leonardo asked.

Kaz sighed. "So, what does she want from you?"

"I don't know. I'm meeting her later at the Byerly building. She's got something planned." Leonardo said.

"Yeah, like pushing you off the building. It's a trap, Leo." Kaz said.

"I don't think so," Leonardo said. "There's good in her. I know there is. I can feel it."

"I hope you're right, for your sake," Kaz warned. "Just watch out around her, alright? You may think there's good in her but, just remember that she's in the Foot Clan. She could be faking it."

Leonardo nodded, letting it sink in.

"KARAI, I HAVE learned that you had the opportunity to dispatch Leonardo." Shredder said towards his daughter while Jake stood next to him on one side, staring at his sister with narrowed eyes while Soren stood at the bottom of the stairs, keeping his eyes on Cameron, who was kneeling down to Shredder next to Karai.

The plan that they came up was for Karai and Cameron to work as partners. Karai would be the one that would be attacking them (unless Cameron ever needs too as well for either self-defense or if his cover gets blown) while Cameron would be the one trying to gain their trust, or at least the trust of Briana's since she was the one that was the most naive and easiest to manipulate.

Karai smirked while Cameron glanced over at her. "Really?" She asked.

"But you let him go instead." Shredder said.

"That better not be true," Jake said as he stared his sister down with narrowed eyes. "For your sake."

Karai glared at her adoptive brother, the two have been at the other's throats since Jake was fifteen while Karai was four at the time.

"That's not true, he escaped." Karai said.

"I find that hard to believe."

"He escaped you, didn't he?"

"Karai." Jake warned. "Do not speak to Father that way."

Karai ignored the urge to roll her eyes at her brother for being such a teacher's pet. She hated how their father made him his right-hand when she thought she should been the one that's their father's right-hand.

"Enough!" Shredder said as he walked over to her. "Next time you see Leonardo, you must finish him." Karai's eyes widened. "Understood?"

"I understand, father."

Then, as Shredder left, Soren made a hand motion for Cameron to walk over to him, which he did. "How are you doing with the plan?" Soren asked curiously.

"I'm doing fine, I met Princess Briana." Cameron said.

"And?" He asked.

"She believes me," Cameron said. "She really is naive, I'll admit that. She's too... trusting, it'd be easy to get her to trust me."

"Good," Soren said. "Do whatever you have to do to make sure she does."

Cameron nodded. "I will. As long as nobody catches on to me, I'll be fine."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

ARRIVING TO THE same rooftop after getting April's opinion, Briana landed on the rooftop and walked forward a bit before coming to a stop. She waited for a while and turned around when she heard a noise behind her as she turns around and spots Cameron climbing the last step from the fire escape ladder and got onto the roof.

"You showed up," Cameron said. "I thought you weren't going too at first but you don't disappoint."

Briana smiled softly. "I wasn't going too at first but, if this is my chance to get find out where I'm from, I should take it."

"Well, then, let's get started, shall we?" Cameron said.

Briana nodded and waited for him to continue.

"So, you know how I called you Princess?" Cameron asked and he continued, which he got a nod from her. "It's true. You're Princess Briana from the Crystal Empire."

"Wait, hold on," Briana said with a frown already. "The Crystal Empire? That place is a myth. My friends and I are literally learning about all that stuff in our history class."

Cameron shook his head. "It's real, trust me. You're Equestrian, and so am I."

"Equestrian?"

"That's what they call the people from there," Cameron explained. "The Crystal Empire is a kingdom where humansโ€”both normal humans and humans with abilities, and... mutants," Briana didn't heard the bitter tone in her voice at the word mutants. "Live together peacefully."

"Together?" Briana confirmed and at his nod, she smiled. "I knew they could one day."

Then, Briana stared at him with a curious look on her face. "So, if you're from there, what are you doing here?"

"My mother sent me here to find you when a mysterious fog covered the kingdom. I managed to get out in time but my mother didn't. The last thing she told me before she got trapped was to find you and bring you back home." Cameron explained.

"It's just fog, right? How come she can't get out?" Briana asked.

"Because the fog won't let her," Cameron explained. "It doesn't let anyone from the Crystal Empire leave and it doesn't let nobody go back inside either. It's like if the kingdom disappeared all of a sudden, which is why nobody believes it exists."

Briana remained silent, taking this in as she let him continue. "I've been looking everywhere for you. I've looked in Japan, California, Paris, and now, here." He says.

"You said your mother was trapped," Briana said. "What about your father?"

"My parents are divorced," Cameron said. "I was little when it happened so I don't remember much of that. I'm actually staying with my dad here since after the divorce, he moved here."

Briana nodded as she hesitated a little before she shook it off. "Can you tell me about her? Your mother?"

Cameron nodded. "My mother... she's one of the best people that I know. When I was a kid, she would always read me a fairytale story from my favorite book, Equestrian Tales when she was putting me to bed. I loved it when she did that."

Briana couldn't help but let her eyes gaze down a little, a part of her wishing that she got the chance to experience a motherly love like that. She loved her father and her siblings but deep down, she wondered what it was like to have a mother.

"She sounds amazing," Briana admitted before she questioned slowly. "Do... do you miss her?"

Cameron chuckled softly as he looked down a little before he looked back up at her, walking over to her. "If I could go back home and not have to deal with the fog right now, I'd do it for her. You know, before the fog and whenever it was just this calmness in the Crystal Empire before all the craziness, it was home and it was nice."

Briana smiled softly at his words and watched as Cameron sighed, neither one of the two realized how close they were now.

"I guess that's how you know you really got a home." Cameron said.

Briana frowned slightly. "I don't understand. What do you mean by that?"

"When you leave it, there's this feeling that you can't shake. You just miss it." Cameron said.

As Briana stared at him, she didn't know why but she had a feeling that she was staring at him with awe. She couldn't help but feel like maybeโ€”just maybe, she was right. If Cameron really was telling the truth then, she could finally find out the truth about her. Though if she had to be honest, when she was listening to Cameron, Briana didn't know why but there was this... feeling in her that made her stomach giddy towards him.

And it was at this point where the two realized how close they were standing with the other. Briana noticed that Cameron was slowly leaning in and she didn't realize what he was planning till his lips met hers. She felt her eyes widened at this but she didn't know why she wasn't pulling away.

Her stomach was feeling giddy during the kiss and she swore that she felt her heartbeat skipped a beat at first, which confused her. She didn't understand why she was feeling this way since she knew that she was in love with Kaz. So, why wasn't she pulling away from Cameron?

Maybe it was because Cameron mentioned how he missed his mother and Briana saw it as a reminder about how much she's longed to get the chance to see what a motherly touch feels like.

Maybe it was because Cameron's words made her feel like he knew what it was like to miss a home but the only difference was that Briana was missing a home that she knew nothing about.

But for whatever the reason, Briana didn't understand why she wasn't pulling away or why she did what happened next. She closed her eyes and found herself returning the kiss. But when she did realized what she was doing, her eyes widened and she quickly pulled, stepping back from him.

"I... I'm sorry," Briana apologized truthfully. "I don't know why I did that."

"No, no, you don't have to apologize." Cameron said as he winked at her.

"Yes, I do. I don't want to lead you on," Briana explained. "It's just... I'm in love with someone else."

Cameron instantly frowned at those wordsโ€”one that Briana didn't noticed. "Oh? If I may, what's his name?"

Briana blushed and Cameron ignored the urge to hunt down the boy just to get rid of him. "His name's Kaz," she said, her cheeks tinted pink.

"Huh," Cameron muttered to himself before he sent her a friendly smile. "Well, don't worry, I get it."

"Thanks," Briana said, feeling relieved that he got the message. Unknowingly to her, Cameron only got upset by the news and had clenched his fist when she told him Kaz's name. "Well, I better get going. See ya!"

Cameron waved and watched as Briana left the rooftop. Once she was gone, Cameron scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "Great, just great!" He said. "Now, I have to find out who this Kaz guy is and try to get rid of him if I'm gonna be the one that gets Princess Briana."

Cameron then smirked determinedly to himself. "After all, it's like in those stories mother reads to me and Princess Briana is my Princess."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

"I'M BACK, GUYS!" Briana called out as she entered the lair, getting their attention. Immediately, Henry, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Eclipse whipped their heads around to see her walking in while Michelangelo laid on the couch, still unconscious. Before Briana could move any farther, the next thing she knew was that Raphael was suddenly standing in front of her, grabbing her by her shoulders as he shook her.

"Where the shell have you been!? Do you have any idea how worried I was!?" Raphael asked in a panicked tone, a hint of worry could be tell from his eyes.

"I was getting some fresh air," Briana lied somewhat. "I lost track of time, sorry."

"Don't you ever scare me like that." Raphael said firmly.

Briana blinked but nodded, knowing how overprotective her siblings can be. Then, she noticed the unconscious mutant turtle laying on the couch. "What happened to Mikey?"

"Long story, we'll tell you later."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

THEY WERE ALL crouched around Michelangelo, who laid on the couch. Leonardo was sitting by his feet while holding a slice of pizza to his face. Michelangelo's nose twitched, and a second later opened his eyes.

"Mmm... pepperoni." He said.

"Works every time." Leonardo said with a smile.

"Mikey!" Raphael lunged forward for the second time and wrapped his arms around him. "Don't scare me like that, buddy! I thought we lost you!" He leaned back and looked at his brother, who seemed a little groggy.

"Dudes, dudettes, I had the weirdest dream..." he said lazily. "I dreamt the stuff in the sewer was made ofโ€”"

"Eh, don't worry about it, Mikey." Donatello said quickly. "It was just a dream." He indicted to the others that they shouldn't tell him while Leonardo let Michelangelo take the pizza slice and eat it.

While Donatello and Briana stayed with Michelangelo, it was Raphael, Henry, and Eclipse that glanced at each other before they stood up and walk away; Raphael grabbing Leonardo's arm and pulling him with them out of earshot from the others.

"So, what's with the ninja who tried to kill you?" Raphael asked.

"She didn't try to kill me." Leonardo protested. "She saved me."

"She threw a knife at your head," Eclipse reminded. "Pretty sure that counts as trying to kill you."

"She threw a knife near my head." Leonardo said, holding up Karai's blade.

"You do know that she's in the Foot Clan, right?" Henry reminded.

"Nobody's perfect." Leonardo said, patting his shoulder and walked past him with a smile on his face.

Once he was out of earshot, Eclipse turned towards Raphael and Henry. "Is it me or does anyone feel like this girl is gonna be trouble?"

"Yep, big time." Raphael said in agreement.

"He'll realize that, don't worry." Henry assured.

"So, this is how Karai and Cameron come into the story. But I didn't realize at that time that letting Cameron in was about to be the worst mistake I could ever make."
