| • CHAPTER ELEVEN • |
The next morning Sunghoon visited Jay to discuss about his yesterday behaivor. Jay hesistated aat first but eventually give Sunghoon his "adress". Sunghoon found Jay's house hardly cuz of road conditions. When Sunghoon met Jay he was nearly shocked of his living conditions. Jay was payed well and he was supposed to have a good life but Jay added that he was collecting for something bigger. As Jay led him to kitchen they both sat down and Jay prepared coffee for both of them..
After the some awkward silence Sunghoon finally decided to talk about Jay's strange behaivor as he had already clue what was happening to him.
"Jay," Sunghoon began, his voice careful, "I think I might know why you've been feeling so out of control lately. But I need to ask you something."
Jay looked up, his brow furrowing slightly at the seriousness in Sunghoon's tone. "What is it?"
Sunghoon hesitated, not wanting to jump to conclusions but feeling a growing certainty in his thoughts. "Have you noticed anything... different about yourself lately? Physically, I mean. Like, maybe something you haven't experienced in a long time?"
Jay frowned, not fully understanding where Sunghoon was going with this. "What do you mean? Like what?"
Sunghoon took a deep breath. "Have you had a gut feeling lately? That instinctive urge, that drive alphas get? It's just that... I know you, Jay, and you've been acting out of character. You've been... well, more aggressive about wanting to have sex. It makes me think—when was the last time you had a gut?"
Jay froze, his eyes widening as the realization dawned on him. He hadn't thought about it, hadn't even considered it. The concept seemed so foreign to him now, something from a time long past. His stomach twisted uncomfortably as he tried to recall the last time he had experienced that primal, instinctive urge.
"I... I haven't had a gut in years," Jay murmured, almost to himself. "Not since I was nineteen."
Sunghoon's eyes widened at that. "Nineteen? Jay, that's... a long time. And if you haven't had one since then, but you're feeling something similar now..." He trailed off, the implications settling heavily between them.
Jay's mind raced, the thought both terrifying and confusing. "But I don't understand. I haven't felt anything like that in years. Why now? Why would it be happening again?"
Sunghoon leaned forward, his expression a mix of concern and seriousness. "Have you done anything lately that might've triggered it? I mean, have you had any intimate encounters or close calls that could've set this off?"
Jay swallowed hard, his thoughts immediately flashing back to Heeseung. The intensity of their encounter, the overwhelming pull he had felt, the way his instincts had almost completely taken over. And then last night, the loss of control with Sunoo. It all made a horrifying kind of sense now.
"I... I was with Heeseung," Jay admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "We didn't... we didn't have sex, but it got close. And it was like something in me just snapped. Like I couldn't control myself around him. And then last night with Sunoo... I don't know what came over me."
Sunghoon's expression softened, the pieces fitting together in his mind. "Jay, that might be it. Your body could be reacting to something primal, something you haven't experienced in a long time. It's possible that your encounter with Heeseung triggered a response in you, and now it's all coming to the surface. The urge, the need... it's like your body's trying to tell you something."
Jay's heart pounded in his chest, the fear and confusion he had been feeling only growing stronger. "But why now? Why would this happen after so many years?"
Sunghoon shook his head slightly, not having all the answers but understanding the gravity of the situation. "Sometimes, the body holds onto things, even after we think we've moved past them. And then something happens, something intense, that brings it all back. It could be Heeseung's presence, or something about him that's triggering this in you. But whatever it is, you can't ignore it, Jay. You need to figure out what's really going on before it spirals out of control."
Jay felt a cold sweat break out across his skin, the fear that had been gnawing at him now clawing its way to the surface. The thought of being at the mercy of his own instincts, of losing control in such a primal, dangerous way, terrified him. And the fact that it was all tied to Heeseung only made it more complicated.
"What am I supposed to do, Sunghoon?" Jay asked, his voice laced with desperation. "I can't keep going on like this. I feel like I'm going to lose my mind."
Sunghoon's expression was serious but supportive. "You need to confront this head-on, Jay. Whether that means talking to Heeseung about it or finding some other way to deal with it, you can't just push it down. It's too strong for that. You're going to have to face it, no matter how hard it is."
Jay nodded slowly, the enormity of what he was facing settling heavily on his shoulders. He had no idea how he was going to deal with this, but he knew Sunghoon was right. He couldn't run from it anymore.
"I'll figure something out," Jay said, his voice steadier than he felt. "I have to."
Sunghoon gave him a small, reassuring smile. "And you won't have to do it alone. I'm here, whatever you need. We'll get through this, Jay."
Jay offered a grateful nod, the fear still there but tempered by the knowledge that he wasn't completely alone in this. He didn't have all the answers, and the path ahead seemed daunting, but he knew one thing for sure: he couldn't keep living in denial. It was time to confront the demons that had been haunting him, even if it meant facing the most terrifying parts of himself.
Jay and Sunghoon walked in tense silence toward Heeseung's lab. The earlier conversation replayed in Jay's mind, making him feel like he was teetering on the edge of a cliff. Every instinct told him that something was seriously wrong, and whatever was happening between him and Heeseung was only the tip of the iceberg.
When they reached the lab, Jay hesitated before entering. The building loomed ominously, and the air felt thick with anticipation, as if something was waiting for them inside. Sunghoon, sensing Jay's unease, gave him a reassuring nod. "We'll get answers. We're in this together."
Jay pushed the door open, and they stepped into the sterile hallway. The lights flickered above them, casting long shadows on the floor. It was eerily quiet, too quiet for a place that was usually buzzing with activity.
As they approached Heeseung's office, Jay noticed that the door was slightly ajar, a thin sliver of light spilling into the hallway. His heart raced as he reached out to push the door open fully, revealing the room inside.
Heeseung was there, sitting at his desk, staring intently at a small vial filled with a dark, viscous liquid. His usually calm demeanor was replaced by an intensity that sent a chill down Jay's spine. Heeseung didn't even look up when they entered, his focus entirely on the vial in his hand.
"Heeseung," Jay called out, his voice sounding more uncertain than he intended. "What's going on?"
Heeseung finally looked up, his eyes locking onto Jay's with a strange mix of familiarity and something else—something almost predatory. "Jay. You're just in time."
"In time for what?" Sunghoon asked, his hand instinctively moving toward the concealed weapon in his jacket.
Heeseung's lips curled into a faint smile. "To witness the next step in our evolution."
Jay's heart skipped a beat. "What are you talking about? What is that?" He gestured to the vial in Heeseung's hand.
Heeseung stood up, holding the vial between his fingers as if it were the most precious thing in the world. "This, Jay, is the culmination of everything we've been working toward. The serum that will unlock our true potential—our true nature."
Jay's stomach twisted. "Serum? Heeseung, what kind of research are you talking about?. What have you done?"
Heeseung's eyes gleamed with a fervor that Jay had never seen before. "You're confused I know. This goes beyond what I initially planned. But the potential... it's limitless. I've only scratched the surface of what we're capable of, Jay. And this serum—it's the key to everything."
Jay's instincts screamed at him to get out of there, but he couldn't move. "Heeseung, you need to stop. We don't know what this could do. You're playing with forces we don't understand."
But Heeseung shook his head, his expression unwavering. "I've already tested it, Jay. I've seen what it can do—what it can make us become."
Sunghoon's eyes narrowed. "Tested it? On who?"
Heeseung's smile widened, but there was no warmth in it. "On myself."
Jay's blood ran cold. "You... you tested it on yourself?"
Heeseung nodded, his gaze intense. "I had to, Jay. Someone had to take the first step. And now, I can show you. I can show you what we're meant to be."
Before Jay could react, Heeseung uncapped the vial and, without hesitation, injected the dark liquid into his arm. The effect was immediate. Heeseung's body convulsed, his muscles twitching uncontrollably as the serum spread through his system.
Jay rushed forward, but Sunghoon grabbed his arm, holding him back. "Don't! We don't know what's happening."
Heeseung's convulsions slowed, and then he straightened, his breath coming in ragged gasps. But when he looked up at Jay, his eyes were different. They glowed with an unnatural light, and his expression was one of pure, unfiltered power.
"Do you see, Jay?" Heeseung's voice was low, almost a growl. "This is what we were meant for. To transcend our limitations, to become something greater."
Jay backed away, horror and disbelief warring within him. "This isn't you, Heeseung. You're... you're not in control."
Heeseung advanced on Jay, his movements unnaturally smooth, almost predatory. "Oh, I'm in control, Jay. More than I've ever been. Finally I can feel myself. My true self"
Jay shook his head, fear tightening his chest. "No... this isn't right. This is... monstrous."
Heeseung's smile faded, replaced by a look of cold determination. "If you won't join me willingly, then I'll have to make you understand."
In a flash, Heeseung lunged at Jay with inhuman speed, but Sunghoon was quicker. He pulled Jay out of the way, and they both stumbled back, barely avoiding Heeseung's grasp. The force of Heeseung's movement shattered a nearby glass cabinet, sending shards flying.
"He's not going to stop," Sunghoon hissed, pulling Jay toward the door. "We need to get out of here."
Jay's heart pounded as they fled down the hallway, Heeseung's distorted voice echoing behind them. "You can't run from this, Jay! It's in your blood, just like it's in mine!"
They burst out of the lab, into the night, but Jay knew this wasn't over. Heeseung had crossed a line, one that could never be uncrossed. And whatever he had become, Jay feared it was only a matter of time before he too would have to face that same darkness within himself.
As they ran, Jay's mind raced. The serum, the changes—it wasn't just about Heeseung anymore. It was about them all. And the terrifying thought that kept gnawing at Jay was that maybe, just maybe, Heeseung was right.
As Jay sat in his dimly lit room, he felt as if the walls were pressing in on him, each breath growing heavier as his thoughts spiraled out of control. The events of the day played on an endless loop in his mind—Heeseung's cold, glowing eyes, the predatory way he moved, the sheer power radiating from him after injecting that serum. But beneath the fear and confusion, there was something else gnawing at Jay, something he couldn't quite name, and it was tearing him apart.
His hands trembled as he clutched at the sheets on his bed, trying to ground himself, but nothing seemed to help. His body was betraying him, reacting in ways he didn't understand, ways that terrified him. Why was he so drawn to Heeseung, even after seeing him like that? Why did the thought of Heeseung's transformation fill him with both dread and a strange, inexplicable longing?
A sob escaped Jay's throat, and he quickly covered his mouth, shocked at the sound. He wasn't the type to cry, especially not over something like this. But the tears came anyway, hot and relentless, streaming down his face as he struggled to keep them at bay. It felt like his heart was being torn in two, the weight of his emotions too much to bear.
Heeseung's voice echoed in his mind, haunting and persuasive. "This is what we were meant for. To transcend our limitations, to become something greater." But greater than what? Jay didn't want this—whatever "this" was. He didn't want to lose himself, to become something unrecognizable. And yet, why couldn't he stop thinking about Heeseung? Why did the very thought of him make Jay's heart ache in a way that felt so raw, so vulnerable?
Jay's sobs turned into quiet whimpers as he buried his face in his hands. He felt so small, so powerless, like an omega caught in the gravitational pull of an alpha's overwhelming presence. The comparison sent a shiver down his spine. Was that what was happening? Was he, Jay, a strong and capable man, truly reduced to this because of Heeseung? Was this why he felt like he was falling apart? Was this why every instinct in his body screamed to be near Heeseung, even as his mind told him to run?
The conflicting emotions twisted inside him, making him feel like he was being torn in half. The fear, the confusion, the inexplicable pull toward Heeseung—it was all too much. He didn't understand why he cared so much, why he couldn't just push Heeseung out of his mind, why the thought of never seeing him again made his chest tighten in pain.
By the time the sun had set, Jay was emotionally exhausted. His tears had dried, but the hollow feeling in his chest remained. He sat on the edge of his bed, staring blankly at the wall, his mind numb. That was when he heard it—the soft, almost hesitant knock on his door. He froze, his heart leaping into his throat.
Who could it be at this hour? He had no visitors, no friends who would drop by unannounced. And yet, deep down, he knew. He knew it was Heeseung.
For a moment, Jay considered ignoring the knock, pretending he wasn't home. But his body betrayed him once more, moving on its own as he slowly walked toward the door. His hand hovered over the doorknob, trembling as he debated what to do.
Then he heard Heeseung's voice—soft, almost pleading—from the other side of the door. "Jay, it's me. Please, just let me talk to you."
Jay's breath hitched. There was a vulnerability in Heeseung's voice that he hadn't expected, something that tugged at the fragile threads holding Jay together. But fear and confusion held him back, and he couldn't bring himself to open the door.
Heeseung seemed to sense this, because his voice came again, quieter this time. "I know you're scared. I know you're confused. But I promise you, Jay, I'm not here to hurt you. I just want to talk. I... I need to talk to you."
Jay leaned his forehead against the door, his heart pounding in his chest. He was so close, so close to just opening the door and letting Heeseung in. But something kept him rooted to the spot, that same fear that had gripped him since he'd seen Heeseung's transformation.
"I don't understand any of this, Heeseung," Jay finally whispered, his voice barely audible. "I don't understand why you did this, why you... changed."
There was a pause, and Jay could almost imagine Heeseung standing on the other side, searching for the right words. When Heeseung spoke again, his voice was tinged with a sadness that Jay hadn't expected. "I know you don't understand. And I'm sorry, Jay. I'm sorry for everything. But I promise you, I'll explain it all. I'll tell you everything—just not tonight. Tonight, I just... I needed to see you. I needed to know you were okay."
Jay squeezed his eyes shut, tears threatening to spill over again. "Why do you care?" he asked, his voice breaking. "Why do you even care about me, Heeseung?"
There was a long silence, and for a moment, Jay thought Heeseung had left. But then he heard the soft rustling of clothes as Heeseung leaned against the door from the other side. "Because you're important to me, Jay. You've always been important to me."
Jay's heart ached at the sincerity in Heeseung's voice. He didn't know what to believe anymore, didn't know how to reconcile the Heeseung he knew with the Heeseung who had injected that serum into his body. But one thing was becoming increasingly clear—despite everything, despite the fear and confusion, he couldn't let go of Heeseung. He couldn't stop caring, no matter how much he wanted to.
"Heeseung," Jay whispered, his voice trembling. "Promise me... promise me you'll tell me everything."
"I promise," Heeseung replied without hesitation. "I'll tell you everything, Jay. I swear."
Jay nodded slowly, even though Heeseung couldn't see him. He didn't know what the future held, didn't know how he was going to deal with the storm of emotions inside him. But for now, in this moment, he held on to that promise, hoping it would be enough to keep him from falling apart.
And as he sat there, back against the door, he felt something shift inside him. It was subtle, almost imperceptible, but it was there—a small crack in the wall he'd built around his heart. He was terrified, lost, and confused, but he also knew one thing for certain: he was slowly, inevitably, falling in love with Heeseung.
The rain began to fall gently at first, soft droplets tapping against the roof of Jay's small house. He was sitting in his room, the earlier events of the day weighing heavily on his mind. The confusion, the fear, the unshakable thoughts of Heeseung—they all swirled inside him like the storm gathering outside. Heeseung's voice from their conversation earlier still echoed in his head, making his chest tighten with emotions he didn't fully understand.
As the rain grew heavier, Jay felt an inexplicable pull to step outside. There was something comforting about the rain, the way it washed over the world, cleansing everything in its path. He had always found solace in it, a temporary escape from the chaos in his mind. Standing up, Jay made his way to the door, pausing for a moment as he listened to the rhythmic sound of the rain falling against the leaves and earth outside.
He opened the door, the cool night air rushing in and carrying with it the fresh scent of rain-soaked earth. Stepping outside, Jay grabbed an umbrella from the porch and unfolded it, the fabric crackling as it stretched out to shield him from the downpour. He took a deep breath, letting the crisp air fill his lungs, and began to walk down the path that led to the river nearby. His house was nestled in a secluded area, surrounded by thick trees and wild nature, far away from the noise and bustle of the city. The only sounds were those of the night—frogs croaking, leaves rustling in the wind, and the steady patter of rain.
The path was slick with mud, and Jay's boots squelched with each step, but he didn't mind. The rain was soothing, a balm to his troubled mind. He walked slowly, his thoughts still tangled but softened by the natural beauty around him. The trees towered above, their branches heavy with water, and the ground was littered with leaves and twigs. As he approached the river, the sound of the rushing water mingled with the rain, creating a symphony that filled the night air.
When Jay reached the river, he froze in shock. There, under the heavy branches of a tree that provided little shelter from the downpour, was Heeseung. He was sitting on the ground, his back against the trunk, completely soaked through. His hair was plastered to his forehead, and his clothes clung to his body, dripping with water. Jay's heart skipped a beat, a mix of worry and confusion surging through him.
Why was Heeseung here? Why was he out in the rain, alone and vulnerable?
Without thinking, Jay hurried toward him, his umbrella barely keeping up with the pace of his thoughts. Heeseung didn't move as Jay approached, seemingly lost in his own world, staring out at the river with an expression Jay couldn't quite read.
When Jay finally reached him, he knelt down beside him, holding the umbrella over them both. "Heeseung," Jay said softly, his voice almost drowned out by the rain. "What are you doing out here? You'll catch a cold."
Heeseung turned to look at him, his eyes dark and intense, but there was a softness there too, something vulnerable that tugged at Jay's heart. "I needed to clear my head," Heeseung replied, his voice low and rough, as if he hadn't spoken in hours. "I couldn't stay away."
Jay felt a pang of emotion at Heeseung's words. He had been feeling the same way, drawn to the rain, to the night, as if something was pulling him toward this very moment. He settled down beside Heeseung, their shoulders almost touching as they both stared out at the river, the sound of the water rushing over rocks and under the bridge mingling with the steady rhythm of the rain.
For a while, they sat in silence, the umbrella shielding them from the worst of the rain but doing little to keep the cold at bay. Jay shivered slightly, not from the cold, but from the intensity of the moment. There was something almost surreal about sitting here with Heeseung, under the shelter of the tree, the rain falling around them like a curtain isolating them from the rest of the world.
"Heeseung," Jay began, his voice barely above a whisper, "why did you come here? To my place, I mean."
Heeseung didn't answer immediately. When he did, his voice was thick with emotion. "I couldn't stop thinking about what you said earlier, about how this... thing inside of us is growing stronger. I know it scares you, Jay. It scares me too. But I don't think we can fight it."
Jay's heart ached at the rawness in Heeseung's voice. Heeseung was always so composed, so controlled, but here he was, sitting in the rain, baring his soul to Jay. And Jay felt it too, that unspoken connection between them, a bond that went beyond words. It was as if their souls were speaking, reaching out to one another through the storm.
Jay took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing heart. "I don't know what's happening to us, Heeseung. But I'm scared. I don't want to lose myself, or you."
Heeseung turned to face Jay, his eyes searching his. "You won't lose yourself, Jay. Not if we face this together. I came here tonight because I needed to see you, to be with you. It's like... I can't stay away."
Jay's breath caught in his throat at Heeseung's words. There was something in Heeseung's gaze, something deep and powerful, that made Jay's heart skip a beat. He could feel it too, that pull, that undeniable connection that seemed to draw them closer, no matter how much they tried to resist it.
The rain continued to fall, but Jay barely noticed it anymore. All he could focus on was Heeseung, the way his wet hair framed his face, the intensity in his eyes, the way their breaths seemed to synchronize as they sat there, so close and yet still holding back.
"Heeseung," Jay whispered, his voice trembling slightly, "I don't know what's happening between us, but... I don't want to fight it anymore."
Heeseung's eyes softened, and for a moment, it felt like the entire world had narrowed down to just the two of them, sitting together in the rain, sharing something that was beyond words. Heeseung reached out, his hand brushing against Jay's, a simple touch that sent a shiver down Jay's spine.
"You don't have to fight it, Jay," Heeseung murmured, his voice barely audible over the sound of the rain. "Whatever this is, we'll figure it out together."
Jay felt a warmth spreading through him, despite the cold and the rain. Heeseung's words, the way he was looking at him—it was all so overwhelming, and yet it felt right. It felt like he was finally where he was meant to be, sitting here beside Heeseung, sharing this moment under the rain-soaked tree.
Jay's heart pounded in his chest, his mind racing with a thousand thoughts, but there was one thought that stood out above all the rest. He didn't want to lose this, whatever it was. He didn't want to lose Heeseung.
Without thinking, Jay leaned in, closing the small distance between them. Heeseung's eyes widened slightly, but he didn't pull away. Instead, he met Jay halfway, their lips brushing together in a soft, tentative kiss that sent a jolt of electricity through Jay's entire body.
The kiss was brief, almost fleeting, but it was enough to set Jay's heart on fire. When they pulled back, both of them were breathless, their gazes locked in a silent understanding.
"I'm not going anywhere, Jay," Heeseung whispered, his voice filled with a quiet intensity. "I'm here. With you."
Jay nodded, unable to find the words to express what he was feeling. Instead, he leaned back against the tree, still holding the umbrella over them, and let the rain wash away the doubts and fears that had been plaguing him. Heeseung was right—they didn't have to fight this. Whatever was happening between them, they would face it together.
And as they sat there, side by side, sharing the quiet moments in the rain, Jay realized that he was no longer afraid. Because for the first time in a long time, he felt like he was exactly where he was meant to be.
As they settled into the cozy warmth of the house, the remnants of the rain still softly pattering against the windows, Heeseung suddenly broke into a harsh, uncontrollable cough. Jay's heart sank at the sound, and he quickly turned to face Heeseung, concern etched deeply into his features.
"Heeseung, are you okay?" Jay asked, his voice laced with worry as he watched Heeseung struggle to catch his breath.
Heeseung tried to wave him off, but another bout of coughing overtook him, making his whole body shudder. Jay didn't hesitate. He immediately stood up and moved to Heeseung's side, placing a hand on his back and rubbing soothing circles, trying to ease the cough.
"I knew you'd catch a cold out there," Jay muttered, his tone a mix of frustration and concern. "Come on, let's get you out of these wet clothes and into something warm."
Heeseung, still coughing, nodded weakly, too exhausted to argue. Jay guided him to his bedroom, where he quickly rummaged through his drawers, pulling out a soft, dry sweater and a pair of comfortable pants. Heeseung sat on the edge of the bed, his head hanging low as he tried to regain his composure.
Jay knelt down in front of him, gently unbuttoning Heeseung's soaked shirt and sliding it off his shoulders. His fingers brushed against Heeseung's cold skin, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. He should have insisted that they come inside sooner, but he had been so caught up in the moment with Heeseung that he hadn't noticed how much the rain had affected him.
Once Heeseung was free of the wet clothes, Jay handed him the dry sweater, watching as Heeseung slipped it over his head, shivering slightly as the warmth of the fabric enveloped him. Jay then helped him change into the dry pants, his hands lingering a bit longer than necessary as he adjusted the waistband, ensuring Heeseung was comfortable.
"There," Jay said softly, standing back up. "You should feel a bit better now."
Heeseung looked up at him, a faint smile tugging at his lips despite his obvious discomfort. "Thanks, Jay," he said, his voice raspy from the coughing. "I'm sorry for worrying you."
Jay shook his head, his expression softening. "Don't apologize. I'm just glad you're okay. But you need to rest. A cold can get worse if you don't take care of yourself."
Heeseung nodded, his eyes drooping slightly as fatigue began to take hold. Jay could see the exhaustion in every line of Heeseung's body, and it made his heart ache. Heeseung was always so strong, always in control, but right now, he looked vulnerable, and it stirred something deep within Jay.
Without thinking, Jay reached out and cupped Heeseung's cheek, his thumb brushing gently over his skin. "Let's get you under the covers," he murmured, his voice low and tender.
Heeseung didn't protest as Jay helped him lie down, pulling the blankets up to his chin. Once Heeseung was settled, Jay sat on the edge of the bed, his hand resting on top of Heeseung's, their fingers intertwining. The room was quiet, the only sound the soft crackling of the fire Jay had lit in the fireplace, and the faint rustling of the blankets as Heeseung shifted slightly.
For a moment, they simply sat there in silence, their hands clasped together, a quiet understanding passing between them. Jay could feel the steady rhythm of Heeseung's breathing, could see the way his chest rose and fell, and it was oddly calming. Being close to Heeseung like this, feeling his warmth, was something Jay hadn't realized he craved so deeply.
Heeseung's eyes fluttered open, and he looked up at Jay, his gaze filled with a mix of emotions that Jay couldn't quite decipher. "Jay," Heeseung began, his voice soft and almost hesitant, "why are you so good to me?"
Jay blinked, caught off guard by the question. "What do you mean?" he asked, his thumb unconsciously stroking the back of Heeseung's hand.
Heeseung sighed, his eyes searching Jay's face as if trying to find the answer there. "You've always been there for me, even when I didn't deserve it. You've seen me at my worst, and yet you're still here, taking care of me. Why?"
Jay felt a lump form in his throat at Heeseung's words. He wasn't sure how to explain it, how to put into words the way he felt about Heeseung. It wasn't just boss and worker relationship, wasn't just concern for someone he cared about. It was something deeper, something that Jay hadn't fully acknowledged until now.
"Because you matter to me, Heeseung," Jay said quietly, his voice trembling slightly with the weight of the confession. "I...I think..you've always mattered to me. And I can't just stand by and do nothing when you're hurting or in trouble. I care about you... more than I can even explain."
Heeseung's eyes widened slightly, and Jay could see the surprise in his expression, mixed with something else—something that looked a lot like hope. For a long moment, neither of them spoke, the air between them thick with unspoken emotions.
Then, slowly, Heeseung squeezed Jay's hand, his grip firm but gentle. "I care about you too, Jay," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "More than I've let on. More than I even realized until recently."
Jay's heart skipped a beat at Heeseung's words. He could feel the tension in the room, the way their emotions seemed to be hovering on the edge of something deeper, something that neither of them had fully explored before. The pull between them was undeniable, and Jay knew that this moment was a turning point, a chance to finally acknowledge what had been simmering beneath the surface for so long.
Heeseung's gaze flickered down to Jay's lips, and Jay felt his breath catch in his throat. The anticipation, the longing—it was all there, written plainly in Heeseung's eyes. Jay's heart pounded in his chest as he leaned in, closing the distance between them.
When their lips met, it was soft at first, tentative, as if they were both testing the waters, unsure of how far they could go. But the moment their mouths touched, a spark ignited between them, and all the hesitation melted away. The kiss deepened, becoming more urgent, more intense, as if they were both making up for lost time.
Jay's hand moved to cup the back of Heeseung's neck, pulling him closer as he poured all of his emotions into the kiss. Heeseung responded in kind, his fingers tangling in Jay's hair, holding him close as if he never wanted to let go. The world outside the room faded away, leaving just the two of them, lost in each other.
When they finally pulled back, both of them were breathless, their foreheads resting together as they tried to catch their breath. Jay could feel the rapid beating of Heeseung's heart against his chest, mirroring his own. The connection between them was electric, a current of emotion that seemed to flow through every touch, every breath.
Heeseung's eyes fluttered open, and he looked at Jay, his gaze filled with a mixture of awe and affection. "Jay..." he whispered, his voice shaky with emotion. "I've wanted this for so long. I just didn't know how to say it."
Jay smiled softly, his thumb brushing over Heeseung's cheek. "You don't have to say anything," he murmured, his voice filled with warmth. "I know. I've felt it too."
Heeseung's expression softened, and he leaned in again, capturing Jay's lips in another kiss, this one slower, more deliberate, as if he was savoring every second. Jay's hand slid down to rest on Heeseung's chest, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breathing, the warmth of his skin beneath the fabric of the sweater.
As the kiss deepened, Jay could feel a familiar heat building between them, a desire that had been simmering for far too long. Heeseung seemed to feel it too, as his hands began to roam, exploring the contours of Jay's body with a hunger that matched Jay's own.
Heeseung pulled back slightly, his breath coming in short gasps as he met Jay's gaze. "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice laced with both anticipation and concern. "I don't want to push you if you're not ready."
Jay's eyes softened, and he shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "I'm sure, Heeseung," he replied, his voice steady and filled with conviction. "I want this. I want you."
As Jay leaned in for another kiss, Heeseung suddenly took control, his hand firmly gripping the back of Jay's neck, pulling him closer with a force that made Jay's breath hitch. The softness from earlier melted away, replaced by an intensity that made Jay's heart race. Heeseung's dominance was palpable, a silent command that Jay couldn't resist.
Heeseung's other hand moved to Jay's chest, pushing him back just enough so he could look into Jay's eyes, his gaze dark with desire and determination. "You're always so caring, Jay," Heeseung murmured, his voice low and almost predatory. "But tonight, I'm the one in control."
Jay felt a shiver run down his spine at Heeseung's words, a mix of anticipation and submission washing over him. He didn't protest; instead, he nodded slightly, his eyes locked on Heeseung's, waiting for whatever was to come next.
Heeseung's grip on Jay's neck tightened, and he leaned in, his lips brushing against Jay's ear. "You're mine tonight," he whispered, the words sending a jolt of electricity through Jay's entire body. "Do you understand?"
Jay's breath hitched again, and he nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Yes... Heeseung."
A satisfied smirk tugged at Heeseung's lips, and he didn't waste any time. He pressed his lips against Jay's, but this time the kiss was demanding, possessive. Heeseung's hands roamed over Jay's body with purpose, exploring every inch with a roughness that made Jay's skin tingle.
Heeseung quickly took control, pushing Jay back onto the bed with a firm but gentle force. He hovered over Jay, his eyes blazing with a mix of desire and something more—something that made Jay's heart race even faster.
"You like this, don't you?" Heeseung whispered, his voice dripping with confidence as he pinned Jay's wrists above his head, holding him in place. "You like it when I take charge."
Jay swallowed hard, his pulse pounding in his ears as he looked up at Heeseung, completely at his mercy. "Yes," he breathed, his voice shaky but honest. "I like it."
Heeseung's smirk widened, and he leaned down, his lips brushing against Jay's neck, planting a trail of heated kisses along his skin. Each touch sent sparks of pleasure coursing through Jay, and he couldn't help but arch his back, pressing closer to Heeseung, craving more.
As Heeseung's lips traveled lower, he let go of Jay's wrists, his hands sliding down to explore Jay's chest, his touch firm and unyielding. Jay could feel the heat pooling in his stomach, the desire building with every second, every touch.
Heeseung's fingers danced across Jay's skin, teasing and taunting, until they reached the waistband of Jay's pants. He paused for a moment, looking up at Jay with a raised eyebrow, silently asking for permission to continue.
Jay's breath was ragged, his body trembling with need as he nodded, his voice barely a whisper. "Please..."
That was all Heeseung needed. In one swift motion, he rid Jay of his remaining clothes, leaving him bare and vulnerable under Heeseung's intense gaze. Heeseung's eyes raked over Jay's body, a look of pure hunger flashing across his features before he moved back in, capturing Jay's lips in another searing kiss.
The room was filled with the sounds of their heavy breathing, the soft rustle of the sheets, and the distant patter of rain against the window. But all Jay could focus on was Heeseung—the feel of his hands, the press of his body, the way he dominated every moment with a confidence that left Jay breathless.
Heeseung's hands continued their exploration, his touch growing bolder with each passing second. He knew exactly how to make Jay squirm, how to draw out every gasp, every moan, until Jay was a trembling mess beneath him, completely at Heeseung's mercy.
But Heeseung wasn't done yet. He pulled back slightly, just enough to look into Jay's eyes, his gaze intense and filled with a dark, smoldering desire. "I want to hear you," Heeseung whispered, his voice husky and commanding. "I want to hear how much you need me."
Jay bit his lip, his body burning with need as he looked up at Heeseung, his voice barely a whisper. "I need you... Heeseung, please..."
Heeseung's smirk returned, and he leaned down, his lips brushing against Jay's ear as he whispered, "Good boy."
With that, Heeseung took Jay in a way that was both passionate and possessive, every touch, every kiss, leaving Jay breathless and yearning for more. The night was filled with their heated whispers, the feel of their bodies entwined, and the undeniable connection that had been simmering beneath the surface for so long.
In those moments, Jay knew that Heeseung was his in every sense of the word, and he was more than willing to surrender to the intensity of their shared desire.
