JOHNNY AND DANIEL WERE NOW GETTING ALONG BETTER THAN EVER. All training was going great, they still stuck with their respective dojos but embraced each others styles. The two men decided to have a dinner with both of their families.
Mason hung out with Sawyer in her room, Sam and Miguel doing the same in the other sisters room.
"What do you think their doing in there?" The boy questioned about the couple in the next room over.
Sawyer rolled her eyes, "Ugh. Probably sucking face or something." Mason chuckles, letting himself to take a seat in the chair over in the corner of the room.
The room soon went quiet, Sawyer sighed, "You know I'm really happy you're here." Mason looked up to her with surprise. "You know big family dinner with my sisters boyfriend and mom is kinda awkward. At least now I have someone to hang out with." Sawyer confessed, smiling after. "Plus I'm sure my dad is going to talk all about Sam and I taking over the dealership and college, it's all bullshit."
"Why?" Mason questioned, "Cause I don't want that." Sawyer stated, shrugging her shoulders, looking over to him.
"Then, what do you want?"
The girl paused, thinking for a moment. "I don't know. But I don't want to turn out exactly like my parents."
The boy chuckles, glancing down to his lap, "I can agree with you on that."
"Guess we have more in common than I thought." Sawyer smiled looking up to the boy. Mason stood up suddenly moving over to sit next to the girl. "I wonder what other stuff we agree on."
Sawyer felt her face heat up at how close he now was. "You know what's funny?" She spoke, trying to change the subject, feeling awkward. "My family thinks that we're like... together."
Mason's brows raised, "Really?"
"Yeah. Crazy, right?" Mason chuckled awkwardly, "Yeah, super crazy." The two teens eyes met, instantly feeling some sort of connection. Masons eyes darted quickly between her eyes and lips, hoping that she didn't notice.
"So, are you going to tell them?" Mason questioned, nervously, eyes not leaving hers. "What?" She said, snapping out the trance she seemed to be in, getting lost in his eyes.
"You know..." Mason started, eying her lips again. "That we're... not." He leaned in closer, faces only an inch or two apart. Sawyer slowly leaned, almost closing the gap between them.
"Kids, Dinner!" Amanda shouted from the dining room.
The two flinched apart, faces both turning bright red in embarrassment. "Um... we should." Sawyer starts gesturing to the closed door, "Yeah." Mason nods, as the girl quickly got up and left the room.
Mason followed suit, "This is gonna be awkward."

KENNY NERVOUSLY STEPPED INTO THE FAMOUS DOJO. He watched the students all dressed in white gi's preform the same exercise over and over. The boy fails to notice Kreese looming behind him, "Can I help you?" Kenny turned, staring up at the sensei.
"I'm looking for Robby Keene and June Seok." The boy states, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
Kreese, holding his collar, stared down to the kid, calling for the two teens. "Mr. Keene. Ms. Seok." The two teens pause, turning to the sensei with confusion. "You have a visitor."
Robby and June share a confused glance, "You know him?" June questioned, Robby shaking his head.
"I-I'm Kenny. My siblings, Shawn and Willow Payne, said you guys could help me." The boy spoke, feeling intimidated by the two teens.
"I didn't know Shawn had a brother. Is he out?" Robby questioned, taking steps closer to Kenny. "No, that's why I'm here. These a-holes keep hassling me. One of them knows karate, soβ"
"This is a dojo. You are interrupting my class." Kreese interrupts the boy, staring daggers down to him.
"Sensei." June jumped in, stepping forward, "Willow Payne was one of the toughest people in juvie. Kicked ass." June glanced over to Robby, "I've heard similar for her brother."
Kreese chuckles, turning back to the dark skinned boy, "You know, in the real world, we have to fight our own battles. Cobra Kai can teach you how. But you have to prove that your worthy."
Kenny sighs, "How do I do that?"
"Take your shoes off and get on the mat."

THE MIYAGI-FANG STUDENTS SWAPED SENSEI'S FOR THE DAY. Daniel worked with the Eagle Fang students, challenging them to catch a fish from the pond. It was all fun and games until Miguel reached a little too far and fell into the pond.
Johnny on the other hand decided on a more dangerous challenge, jumping from one roof to another. Real parkour type of shit. Of course the Miyagi-Dos were very dismissive of the challenge, outright refusing to attempt the jump.
After the students refused, they all spread out around the roof. Sam and Sawyer both sat on a wooden crate, as Johnny came over. "What's problem, LaRusso? Don't tell me you scared of heights."
Sawyer sighed, "We're not scared."
"Then what is it? Worried you're gonna miss up your hair?" The two girls both gave him a annoyed look.
"My dad wouldn't want us doing this." Sam spoke simply.
Johnny almost rolled his eyes, "Oh, gimme a break. You do everything your mommy and daddy tell you to? If they told you to jump off a bridge, would you?"
"You're telling us to jump off a building." Sawyer responded in disbelief.
"Yeah, onto another building." Johnny said like it was the easiest thing ever. He looked up to the other students. "All I'm trying to do is help you doormats survive the All Valley."
"Uh, if we do your training, I don't think we'll survive the afternoon." Sam shot back. "Look, we came here with an open mind, but this is just dangerous."
"Well I know what I'm doing." Johnny said confidently.
"I don't think you do. Based on your track record, you have terrible judgement." Sawyer spoke in an increasingly irritated tone.
Johnny's brows rose, "Oh, you wanna talk judgement. How about smashing my Firebird and driving off with your girlfriends? You wanna explain that?"
"We weren't even driving. We were in the back seat." Sam shot back defensively.
"How about showing up at my place drunk, cause your dad to kick down my door? Guessing that wasn't your fault either?" Johnny said, bringing up more mistakes the two sisters have made in the past.
They both stood up defensively, becoming more eye to eye with the man. Sawyer steps forward, glaring up at the sensei. "We're teenagers, who's made a couple mistakes. At least we aren't like you. A 50-something-year-old man who lives alone, drinks all day, and clearly hasn't figured out his own life."
Johnny keeps his face blank, maybe a bit shocked at the girls outburst. "I figured out one thing for sure. If I did everything my parents wanted me to do, I'd be wearing a suit and tie in some worthless job while I wait out the clock. I didn't want that. And now I get to do what I love every damn day. I get to try and help kids like you find their own way. If you want to sit in the back seat your whole life, go right ahead. It's no sweat off my back."

"LET'S SEE WHAT YOU GOT." Kreese spoke, as a timid Kenny stepped onto the mat, the other students sitting around on their knees. "Mr. Park?" Kyler stood up with confidence, Kenny eyeing the older boy, scared.
"But h-how and I supposed to fight if I haven't had any training yet?" The boy questioned, frantically looking to Kreese.
"To be a Cobra Kai, you have to have a killer instinct." Kreese answered, as Kyler stretched. "Fighting positions." Kenny looked back to the teen in front of him, weakly putting his hands up in a fighting position.
"Don't worry, man. I'll go easy on you."
"Ais!" Kyler lunges forward, starting to charge at the boy, Kenny quickly backing up in surprise, eyes widening. Some of the teens laughed, as he got back into spot.
"Come back on the mat. Grow some pubes. Let's go." Kyler remarked, as Kenny sighed, stepping back on the mat.
"It's all right, Mr. Payne. Try again."
Kyler lunged forward again, sending a leg out as Kenny ran off the mat again. The rest of the class laughed, June rolled her eyes, What was this kid thinking? She thought. It did seem a bit unbelievable that he was Willow's brother. The two seemed like complete opposites.
"All right, I've seen enough." Kreese stated, as Kyler laughed. "Yeah, me too." The class laughed a bit harder before the sensei quieted them. "What's so funny? The All Valley's just a few short months away. We don't have time for losers. Or cowards." The sensei spoke harshly, looking to Kenny. The boy quickly grabbed his shoes and left the dojo.
After class the students all packed up their gear, leaving the dojo. June threw her bag over her shoulder, and slipping her sneakers on. "Good work today. But I want better than good tomorrow." Kreese exclaimed, some students replied, "Yes, sensei!"
Kyler strolled up to June, "Yo, you want to stand in line with me? Buy some new Nikes?"
The girl shook her head, "How many sneakers do you need?" She responded, continuing to walk out.
"Hey, you would look good in Dunks." The boy added, as the girl scoffed. "Trust me." He said finally before heading off in the other direction.
June started to walk in the direction of her house before Robby stopped her. "Hey, found this in there." He said simply holding up a black school backpack, turning the strap to see the name, address, and phone number on the inside. "I was gonna go give it back. If you want to join."
June nodded, "Sure. I want to see what's up with this kid."
"Yeah, me too."
"Okay. Uh, meet you there in 20?" June questioned, before quickly jotting down the address in her phone.
"See you in 20." Robby states, retreating into the back room he stayed in.
After quickly refreshing herself and a change of clothes June headed over to the suburban neighborhood. She checked the address on the front of the house as she walked down the sidewalk, seeing Robby already there sitting on the curb.
"Damn, nice house." June remarks, looking up to the two-story family house in front of the two teens.
"Yeah. I guess it's a bit weird to think that Willow and Shawn came from here." Robby replied, standing up from his spot in the curb, the boy's backpack in his hand.
"Well, not all juvie kids are like us, you know. I knew a couple richie's in there." June stated, gesturing between the two.
Robby shrugged, "I guess your not wrong." He replied as they walked up to the door. June knocked on the white door, before glancing back to him.
"I'm never wrong. You better get used to it, Keene"
Soon enough the door opened, Kenny glancing between the two teens. Robby held up the boys bag, silently showing him why they were here. "How did you know where I lived?"
June then grabs the strap with his address on it, showing the kid. "Thanks." Kenny grabbed the bag, tossing it aside.
"So how are Willow and Shawn? They still getting out this summer?" June questions, leaning her shoulder against the door frame.
"They both got an extra month for spitting in a guards face and picking fights." Kenny spoke sadly, glancing down to his feet.
The two teens chuckle, "Okay. Yeah, that sounds like him. Hope it was the guard in the computer lab."
Kenny looked on, sighing and shaking his head. "It was my fault." Robby and June's smiles dropped.
"What do you mean?"
"Shawn and Willow had some bad friends at school. I caught one of them stealing from my parents. Guy came at me, but Shawn got in between us. Him and Willow beat him pretty bad. They we're just defending me. With them gone, I've got no one." Kenny explained, "And then they told me about youβ"
"Look. We can't be your tutor." Robby cut the boy off.
"Yeah, we have the All Valley to focus on." June adds, as Kenny noddedβdisappointed.
Kenny's phone chimed, he pulled it out of his pocket, playing a video. "What?"
Kenny shook his head, suddenly remembering their presence. "It's nothing."
June held out her hand, "Give it up, little dude." Kenny reluctantly handed the phone over. Robby and June watched the video, some kids seemed to have put milk in the boys locker. The teens cringing at it.
Robby sighed, feeling sympathy for the boy, "I can show you a couple moves."
"Wait, what?" The girl turned to him in confusion.
In the Payne's backyard, Kenny whimpered, jumping back from attempted attacks from Robby. "Let's run it again. I'm not gonna make contact. All right? But that means you have to stay in the fight. All right? Bow."
June watched from a few feet away, arms crossed. Kenny tried a fighting stance before Robby corrected him.
"Remember, always look your opponent in the eye." Kenny subtly nodded, "Ready? Fight."
Robby shuffled forward, Kenny stepped back, becoming scared. The teen shook his head, continuing. Robby kept sending kicks and punches his way, as Kenny dodged and ran far enough back for Robby to press the boy against the fence.
Robby stepped back "You know, I'm not sure I buy that you're Shawn's brother."
June rolled her eyes, "Ugh. This is a waste of time. We should just go."
"Well, Shawn and Willow we're always big and strong, okay? All I can do is run." Kenny defended himself, looking between them.
Robby thought for a moment, "Then use that. Instead of using your speed to run away from your enemies, use it to run at them."
"You really think that's gonna work?" June questioned, Robby simply shrugged getting the boy try it again.

JOHNNY LAWERENCE GREW IMPATIENT AT MIYAGI-DOS unwillingness to do his challenge. "So no one wants to fly? You all just want to stay in the best. Pathetic!" The sensei shouted, as the students sat there shaking their heads. "All right. You win. You can bore Cobra Kai into submission."
Sam and Sawyer's phones chimed, it being a message from their father, asking how it was going and "Not to do anything he wouldn't do." His words, not theirs.
"You all failed. Grab your crap and let's go." The students all grabbed their things and was ready to follow Johnny off the roof. "Looks like you got what you wanted." He remarked, glancing over to the sisters.
Sawyer though for a second, she wasn't going to back down from this challenge. Sure, it wasn't something her father would do, but what did he expect from Johnny. She wasn't going to sit in the back seat her whole life, or listen to her parents 24/7. That's just boring. Apparently Sam felt the same way. The two shared a glance, and a quick nodβdropping their bags to the ground and beginning straight on to make the jump.
They jumped from the ledge of the first roof, continuing the running motion while in the air, before tucking and rolling onto the second rooftop. The other Miyagi-Do's cheered for the girls, "Nice move, LaRusso's!" Johnny smiled, feeling proud of the two for finally making the leap.
The girls grinned, proud of themselves. They giggled before pulling the other into a hug jumping around.

AFTER ROBBY AND JUNE'S TEACHING, KENNY CAME BACK TO THE DOJO. Kyler had just sparred with another guy, taking him down easily. "Good job, Mr. Park." Kreese commended the teen.
"Look who's back for more." Tory muttered, only loud enough for June and Wyatt to hear.
Kenny stepped confidently onto the mat, "I want another shot."
"I'm sorry, I don't have time to teach weaklings." Kreese said harshly, not wanting to see the boy again.
"Give him another chance, sensei." Robby spoke, standing up for Kenny, despite June's protest. "Maybe he'll surprise you." When the boy and Kreese wasn't looking, she slapped him on the arm, giving him a look of disbelief. She didn't think Kenny proved himself enough for a spot. Yeah, he was fast but that doesn't compare much to other fighters or even his siblings. She didn't know what Robby saw in the kid.
"All right, on the mat. Mr. Park, make this quick." Kreese gives in, wanting to see what Robby could be talking about.
The two went into fighting positions, "Ais!" Kyler lunges forward, Kenny going back to his same old ways and scurrying off the mat.
June rolls her eyes, as Kyler laughs, "Look at him, running to mommy. Bye, you little bitch." Some of the other Cobras laughed along, as Robby looked away disappointed. "I told you..." June mumbled giving him a look. "I'mβ"
"I know. You're never wrong." Robby said, repeating her statement from the day before.
June couldn't help but smile a little, "You're catching on, Pretty Boy."
While the two teens were distracted with each other, Kenny ran upβusing his speedβsending a punch straight to Kyler's face. June's smile dropped, "Shit."
While Robby's grew a little, before sending a look over to the girl, "Don't even." The girl roughly grabbed his chin, pulling his face closer to hers. She knew he was going to comment something about her being wrong about Kenny.
While Kreese didn't count the punch as a point, with one look over to a hopeful Robby, he decided to let the boy stay.

AFTER SOME VERY UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS OF TRYING TO CATCH THE KOI FISH. The Eagle-Fang's went back the next day to attempt the catch. "Agh! Shit! This is impossible!" Hawk complained, splashing the water in frustration.
"Patience. You'll figure it out."
Mason looked down at the fish through the glistening water, he lightly slapped Miguel's arm next to him, getting an idea. "We have an idea." Mason states, before him and Miguel stepped into the pond. "Come on, get in." The boy said to his friends, as they all reluctantly stepped into the pond.
"Follow my lead. Walk in a circle." Mason states as they all circled the fish.
"Hey, it's working. Their going under the board." Hawk states in disbelief. Daniel watching the boys all use his teachings.
At the same time, both Mason and Miguel found the perfect timing to reach under the board, each grasping a fish and pulling it over their heads.
"I got it first!" Miguel exclaimed, after noticing Mason also had a fish in his hands.
"No, I got it first!" Mason shot back.
"Well, it looks like you both are the winners!" Daniel exclaimed, "Good job guys. Good job."
The two teens both look at each other before bursting into laughter, and sharing a fist bump after releasing the fish back.
The Miyagi-Dos showed up at the dojo later and all looked to Johnny as he pulled up. "So? What's on the agenda for today? Let's me guess, something else life threatening?" Sawyer joked around.
The sensei chuckled, "Oh, yeah. But now your ready. Remember, if you get put in a scary situation, you don't back down. You gotta grow a pair." He paused, as Sawyer and Sam looked to him with raised brows. "Of legs. To jump."
"It's okay. We understand. Sensei." Sam clarified.
"All right. Let's get to work." Johnny smiled, leading the students to the back.
After drying off a bit, Mason and Miguel stood across from Daniel as he pulled out two headbands, identical to the one he always wore, just with less dirt and age.
The two boys smiled, like giddy children as Daniel spoke. "Mr. Miyagi once told me this represents perseverance, courage, and strength. It also does a pretty good job of keeping the sweat out of your eyes."
Daniel placed the headband against Miguel's head, letting his tie it in the back before doing the same for Mason.
Johnny looked on at the three in disbelief. Sam and Sawyer both stopped in their tracks to see their dad bowing to the boys, as they wore the headbands that should've been only made for them.
They felt betrayed, why did they get the special thing from Daniel after one day or training? While they still hadn't gotten it from their wholes lives of karate.
