(episode one. let's begin)
JUNE AND WYATT WERE RUNNING LATE TO PRACTICE. They both got off for shifts late, and didn't have much time to get ready for class. The twins quickly took their shoes off, stepping onto the mat. June looked over to see Tory, punching a mannequin head. While the other boys didn't bat an eye when the twins walked in late.
"Yo, I'm telling you, man, when I get to ASU, honeys be lining up for this snack, know what I mean?" Kyler laughed, bragging. Wyatt rolled his eyes at the teen, he's never been to fond of the guy. "Anyways, my dad, he wants me to go to Harvard, but I think ASU's like the Harvard of the west coast."
Tory walked up behind the boys, "You guys are pathetic. If you handled your business, we would have won that fight."
"Okay, whatever. Hawk, he switched sides."
"Yeah, Miguel just got of a wheelchair, yet, he still kicked your ass." Wyatt spoke snarkily. Kyler scoffed, "You know what? At least I'm still here. Half the squad quit.."
The door bell chimes, the teens all look over to see Robby there, glancing between them. "Well look who showed up." Tory scoffed, the boy walks into the back room, "That fool doesn't even practice but he gets to stay? I don't get it." Kyler complained, waving his hands around before dropping them to his side.

"DINNER IS SERVED." JOHNNY SAYS TO THE FAMILY INCLUDING MASON. "All right, tonight's main course is fajitas and grilled vegetables. I have pico de gallo and corn and flour tortillas." Johnny explains, the table all looking impressed by the elaborate meal.
"Wow. This looks delicious, Johnny." Carmen compliments, "Thanks. I got the recipe of the chili's website. I wanted it be authentic."
"¿Auténtico para quién? Somos ecuatorianos no mexicanos" (Authentic for who? We're Ecuadorian not Mexican). Rosa says. "So how was the first day?" Carmen questioned the boys.
"Uh, you know, it's the first day. Work in progress." Johnny answered, "I'm happy you and Daniel are working together. I just want to make sure Miggy's safe."
"Mama, I said my backs in better shape than ever, okay? You don't have to worry." Miguel assures, still having some bruises and scratches on his face from the last fight. "She's your mom, she's always gonna worry. But don't worry, I'm watching him. I'm watching you too." Johnny states, pointing to Miguel and then to Mason, surprising him.
Rosa comments to Miguel about Sam, the boys face heating up in embarrassment. "I'm glad you and Sam are back together. She's cute." Carmen smiles, looking to her son. Mason teasingly nudges his elbow to the boy, Miguel retorts back, "Okay, but you got that whole thing going on with the other LaRusso."
Mason looks down in embarrassment, "I don't know what your talking about." Mason plays kind of dumb, knowing there might be something there between him and the LaRusso girl. "Whatever. I'm not the only one who's getting back with an ex, huh, sensei? He had a date with the love of his life. The one that got away?" Miguel mentions, the man's face going pale. "Is that right?" Carmen questions, awkwardly. "It wasn't a date, no."
"Your being modest. We took all those kinda weird pictures, made you look nice for the special lady." Mason mentions, Miguel jumping in. "Tell 'em about the sushi."
"We don't have to talk about it." Johnny says quickly, going silent again. Miguel sighs, "Okay, I don't know why he's being shy right now. We went to this sushi spot because Ali likes sushi, or so we thought. So we got the dragon roll..." Miguel continues with the story. Mason goes back to thinking about Sawyer, sure he had feelings for her in the past, but they stopped after all of the drama happened. But maybe that feeling never left.

THE MIYAGI-DOS AND EAGLE FANGS ALL MEET TOGETHER FOR TRAINING AGAIN. Hopefully it will be better than last time. "Sensei Lawerence and I have the same goal of preparing you for the tournament." Daniel starts, "But we have different ways of getting you there." Johnny finished.
"We realize that teaching you opposing view points at the same time can be a little confusing." Johnny jumps in again, "So we've discussed it and come up with a solution. We're gonna divide and conquer. Eagle Fang trains out front."
"And I'll be back here with the Miyagi-Dos."
"I thought we were stronger working together." Mason protests, not wanting to separate the dojos. "We're still working together." Daniel says confidently. "Just separately. On opposite ends of the dojo." Johnny explained, Mason and Miguel giving eachother a confused glance.
"All right, Eagles, follow me."
"Miyagi-Dos, come over here."
Out front Johnny led the Eagles, "Fall in! Hawk, since your new to Eagle Fang, come on up."
"Yes, sensei." Hawk says, bowing before walking closer to the teacher. Johnny suddenly does a sweep to the boys legs, him crashing to the ground. "What the heck?" Hawk questioned from the ground.
"Today we're gonna practice our front sweeps. On Hawk."
"All right. I know I was a dick, but I'm sorry." Hawk apologizes, facing his sensei. "Talk is cheap." Johnny responds. "Who's next?"

JUNE WALKED INTO THE EMPTY DOJO FIGURING ROBBY WAS HERE SOMEWHERE. She opens the door to the back room, seeing him using the equipment. The girl walks behind him, around where his head is, leaning down. "I think you're supposed to have a spotter." She said in a low tone.
"I don't need a spotter." Robby said breathless, putting back the bar with weights. "So you've decided to start hiding now?" June questions, "I'm not hiding." Robby defends taking a sip of water.
"Really? Could've fooled me. I don't remember seeing you at the fight."
"What we're you even thinking? That you break into the LaRussos' and everything would be sunshine and roses? You're lucky the LaRussos didn't call the cops." Robby states, June starting to feel guilty.
"At least I'm not the one straddling the fence. Girls like the LaRusso's think the world revolves around them. And why think otherwise? All they have to do to get what they want is make a puppy dog face and say please." June explains, making a fake pouting face. "And your still wrapped around her finger, even after she left you."
"That is not true." Robby defends himself, his voice firm.
"Then why are you defending her?" June retorts back, taking a couple steps closer to him. "Your right to skip. Your all defense, this is the wrong dojo for you. Unless you man up and go offensive for once." June suggests, their bodies now inches away. "Think about it. It'd be smart to stay." She finishes, turning and walking backwards closer to the door, and leaving the room without another word. Robby pauses, watching her leave. Letting her words sink in.

THE NEXT DAY THE COBRAS WALKED INTO THE DOJO TO SEE ROBBY STANDING THERE, GI IN ALL. "Get a load of this chump. What are you doing here?" Kyler questions, as he walked in like he ran the place.
"Sensei Kreese isn't back yet, so I'm gonna get you guys warmed up." Robby states, holding onto his belt. "You've never been apart of this team and you think you're our sensei? Get the hell out of here, man." Kyler continued, Tory joining in. "Who says we even want you?"
"Okay, hit me. Any of you. If any you can land a hit, I'll go." Robby explains, Kyler nodding, "All right." The boy lunged forward, sending a kick Robby's way, which he dodged, then sweeping the boys leg. Robby glanced around at the other cobras, "Who's next?"
Robby continues to send kicks, and punches knocking down them all. Tory lunged forward, trying to attack him from behind, but is caught and kicked in the stomach. June and Wyatt quietly watched form the side, watching as all of their teammates were taken down by Robby.
"You just gonna watch?" The boy teased the twins. They spread out, Wyatt sends a punch into a spinning kick to him, but he dodged again. Robby kicks and punches Wyatt sending him to the ground. June steps up, she does a series of kicks, Robby dodging both. She continues to send punches and jabs to which he all blocked. Robby gets a hold of her arm, flipping her over his shoulder.
The boy stood over her, stretching out a hand, "No hard feelings?"
June spun herself around, using his legs, and kicking him in the chin. The blow sent him backwards, to the floor. "Deals a deal." He says, breathlessly, looking to June. "I'll go." Robby turns around to leave, "Wait. Stay." June states, standing up from the floor, her breathing heavy.
"Over at Miyagi-Do, our enemies are uniting against us. They think by working together, they have the advantage. They think that their better than us. And I should know because I used to be one of them. That officially ends today. I'll admit, at first, I didn't want to join Cobra Kai. But eventually we all need to look ourselves in the mirror and realize who we really are."
A SCRAGGLY HAIRED MAN WALKED SLOWLY DOWN THE HALLS OF THE LONELY PRISON. The guard pushes him forward, "Faster." All the guard said, though it left a mark on the rageful man.
"Now, we may have taken some losses, but it's not about how you start. It's about how you finish."
The man stumbled about, almost like he was drunk, before reaching where the guard was taking him. He sat down in the small booth, a pane of glass in front of him, looking out to see people on the other side.
"And to beat the enemy, it helps to know the enemy's playbook. That's why I'm going to teach you Miyagi-Do Karate, so we can beat Miyagi-Do Karate."
The man smirked at the two kids in front of him, looking much older than when he last saw them. "So, you finally came to see me."
"We don't want to be here any more than you." One of the voices retorted.
"Well I'm glad to see my beloved kids again." The man states, the two teens not knowing if he was exaggerating or not. The teens huffed, not wanting to deal with him. "Oh, come on. Wyatt, June, why not give me a big warm welcome?"
"Not happening, Dad."
