❛❛ Becky and Sidney are having a fun, flirty day at the beach. Sidney wants to teach Becky how to surf, but when a giant wave comes, Sidney gets taken out and keeps getting pummelled by the waves. Becky jumps in to save her. ❜❜

A YAWN ESCAPED SIDNEY'S LIPS AS SHE STRETCHED OUT HER BACK, allowing her right arm to hang out the window of the passengers side of her girlfriend's car, her fingertips dancing in the air. She squinted, attempting to adjust her eyesight to the afternoon's warm sun. For a brief moment, she had forgotten where she and her girlfriend were headed, but after straining her sleeping neck to look sideways at the fiery orange haired individual, she remembered by the green bikini top she sported underneath her windbreaker.

Wiggling her toes around in her sandals to gain their feeling once more, she smiled as her girlfriend did the same. "She's alive!" Becky cheered, letting go of the steering wheel momentarily to shake Sidney's shoulders back and forth as a Pearl Jam song blared over the radio, one that the Irish woman hadn't introduced to her partner yet.

"Such a disappointment," She rolled her eyes, pulling the blanket she lugged out of their apartment to hide from the air conditioner higher over her chest, "I know." Becky must have turned the air conditioning off for a while and cracked the windows, because the car feels much warmer than it did when Sidney originally fell asleep.

"We're almost there." Becky leaned over towards her girlfriend, pointing at the circled area on the map that sat on the dashboard, "It should be about ten more minutes down the road. How was your little nap? Dream about me?" She teased.

Sinking into her seat lower, Sidney chuckled with content and cocked an eyebrow, "I'll have you know it was delightful, and no, I dreamt about nothing at all, I just full on slept. How did you manage to survive without my company?"

Becky began to shake her head, "I honestly have no idea." Her right hand fell to her girlfriend's lap, their fingers quickly intertwining while her other stayed on the wheel. "And dreamt about nothing? Who dreams about nothing?"

Using her free hand, Sidney reached out towards the cup holders in front of her and obtained her iced coffee, which was barely iced any longer. "You've never slept without dreams before? I find that hard to believe."

"Well yeah," Becky pointed out, her tongue running over her lips quickly as she glanced back and forth from Sidney to the road, "There may not have been dreams that I necessarily remember, but I feel like no matter how heavy or light I'm sleeping, I always have something on my mind."

"This conversation is getting far too deeper than I expected." Sidney giggled, sheepishly throwing the blanket over her head in embarrassment.

"You wanted to know!" Becky raised her hand that was still locked with Sidney's to emphasis her point.

Sidney rolled her eyes from underneath the blanket before surfacing once more, only to have her girlfriend laugh at her hair that stuck up on one side because of static. "Anyways." She replied, quickly unlocking Becky's phone with her free hand to select a new song to play.

Becky let go of her girlfriend's hand to make the vehicle turn left off of the road and onto a dirt path leading into the woods. After putting on an old Paramore single, Sidney held the McDonald's cup in one hand and stirred the beverage with the other, watching it swirl around in circles. Becky wasn't a fan of the woman's preferred fast food joint to get their breakfast from, therefore she made the stop at Starbucks short and sweet for herself before they got on the road.

"You're disgusting for drinking that." Becky curled up her nose, continuing to focus her eyes on the road ahead of her. "I'm never kissing you again."

Sidney pouted, "Oh my goodness, get over yourself." She rolled her eyes and laughed. Her eyes fixated on the dozens of trees they passed and the smell of the salty waves as they drive closer and closer to the sea. "You couldn't quit me even if you tried."

"Is that a bet?" Becky perked up, raising an eyebrow in response.

The two continued to tease each other as they struggled to find an empty place to park. Of course, one of the only days where Becky can get a day off is one where everyone wants to go to the beach. They managed find a decent spot at the far end of the boardwalk, a less populated area.

Popping the trunk open, Becky stepped out of the driver's seat and headed towards the back of the car, twirling her set of keys around her index finger. Smiling, her eyes followed her girlfriend as she met by her side, squinting in the sunlight. "You ready to catch some waves?" Becky giggled, feeling confident with her surfer impression.

"Dude, you bet." Sidney played along, sticking out both her pinky fingers and thumbs and slightly shaking her hands. The two took a moment to admire each other's cuteness before removing the surf boards from the trunk, being extra careful not to scratch the ceiling of her vehicle with the tail ends of the boards.

They carried their surf boards, the bags filled with snacks, and the blankets underneath their arms, Becky having little to no trouble with handling the load while on the other hand Sidney struggled to find the right positions to hold all the items at once. Becky ended up taking another bag in order to lighten Sidney's load, and she didn't seem to mind.

The couple find a nice place to lay out their towels and blankets, far from anyone else that could possibly recognize who they were. Back at the hotel, Sidney insisted that herself and Becky should wear large floppy hats and dark sunglasses, the most suspicious don't-look-at-me outfit ever. And of course, Becky caved and played into her silly antics.

Sidney kicked off her sandals and dug her toes into the sand, tilting her head backwards and embracing the warmth of the sun with her arms stretched out at her sides. "I could live on the beach."

"What would you do when it rains?" Becky teased, grabbing the bottle of sunscreen from Sidney's purse and applying the lotion to her arms and shoulders.

Sidney looks down at her girlfriend through the dark shade of her sunglasses, "You can still go swimming when it rains."

"What about thunder and lightning?" Becky wondered, allowing her teeth to tug at her bottom lip.

"I think you're missing the point here, Becks." Sidney disappointedly removed the glasses from her eyes to make sure that Becky saw them roll. Becky laughed as she tugged at the sleeve of her windbreaker, removing both of her arms and throwing the jacket in her girlfriend's direction. Catching the article of clothing, Sidney smiled to herself as she admired the bathing suit Becky chose to wear. "I won't just be sleeping on a surfboard in the sand. I will be laying on my couch with my dog, watching the waves crash onto the shore from the comfort of my own home."

Reaching back into Sidney's purse for any type of lip gloss, Becky winked at her girlfriend, "Seems like you got this all sorted out."

"I've always wanted a house on the beach. It's been my dream ever since I was a kid." Sidney smiles, running her fingers up and down the coloured patterns of her surfboard.

Becky twiddled her thumbs, searching for a response that managed to fit the words she wanted to say together perfectly. "Does that reality have me in it?"

The two began dating just before WrestleMania 35, where Becky, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey were the first women to ever headline a WrestleMania event. Becky became the first woman ever to win both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships and hold them simultaneously. Imagine getting set up by your best friends and your date invites you to witness one of the best nights of her entire life.

"Yeah," Sidney smiles softly, slowly coming to the realization that she could see herself potentially living with Becky in the future. She could see herself staying with Becky forever, and she's never felt this way with anyone else before. She would have never imagined falling in love with Becky so quickly, but here she is. "It's up to you if you want to stay that long, because I'll definitely want you there."

"Well," Becky stood up from her spot on the blanket, brushing some sand off of her bathing suit with the palms of her hands, "That's a relief!" She picked up her surfboard and gently elbowed Sidney in her side. "I was starting to get a little worried there, Love!"

"I love you." Sidney sighed, her eyes watching closely as Becky's wandering ones finally meet hers. The two women smiled at each other until they couldn't contain their embarrassed laughter. All of their friends constantly tell them how much they're in love, but they never really believed them until this very moment.

Sidney held out her hand for Becky to take, which the redhead squeezed when she got ahold of, and they ran down towards the shore. Sidney couldn't wait to get her toes in the water while Becky was cautiously avoiding stepping on every piece of seaweed imaginable and her girlfriend couldn't help but laugh.

It took them much longer than they had expected to get comfortable in the water. It was rather cold this morning for 30 degree weather. Sidney was more than eager to get into the water, while Becky on the other hand found it more difficult to adjust to the cool temperature than anything. The two laughed and teased each other for over a half hour before finally settling in and getting on their boards.

Sidney began showing Becky exactly what to do. The woman was basically born on the beach, therefore it was only natural for her to want to show the Smackdown Women's Champion the ropes of one of her favourite activities in the whole world. Of course, Becky felt a little awkward being shown how to do something so incredibly simple, she thought. She's accomplished so many feats, surely she can manage this one.

"See? You got it!" Sidney clapped excitedly as Becky attempted to balance herself on top of the board before any huge waves have the opportunity to swift her away. "I told you it isn't that hard!"

"Hard?" Becky smirked, allowing her arms to fall at her sides as she began to feel comfortable on the surfboard. She Irishwoman cleared her throat and threw on a bitter expression, "The Man can handle anything that comes her way." Sidney couldn't help but laugh with her girlfriend who continued on with her wrestling gimmick as she matched Becky's position on her surfboard.

Becky goes off into her own little world when she plays her character, and sometimes, it's hard for her to break out of it. It's gotten so bad that she didn't hear Sidney calling her name as a huge wave came directly at the both of them.

Sidney normally doesn't have any trouble when it comes to surfing. Her father basically taught her from the day she was born. If she makes a mistake, it's not intentional, but this wasn't a mistake. Becky had gone into her own state of mind again and wasn't listening to anything she had to say about being safe on the board, therefore, how else was she going to get her attention?

Surprisingly, Becky held her own and stayed standing on her surfboard. She had to catch herself, as her head was spinning so quickly, she couldn't comprehend what was happening all at once. First she was joking and laughing with her girlfriend, and now she was no where in sight. The wave must have swept her off her feet. Without any hesitation, Becky dove into the water in search of Sidney.

Becky tried her best not to panic and keep her composure, because she knew that if she started to freak out, she'd lose her breath and have to go back up out of the water to get more air. As much as the salt water stung her eyes, she opened them long enough to grab ahold of her girlfriend and pull her up to the surface.

"Oh my god." Becky coughed, as the pair's heads appeared above the water. Sighing with relief, she brought one hand up to her eyes to remove the strands of hair from her vision while the other hand stayed rested on Sidney's back. Sidney smirked and opened her left eye to see the worried expression on her girlfriend's face. "Was that all a joke to you?" Becky question, not believing a single thing that just happened.

"What do you mean? I almost died." Sidney let out a cheap cough and spit out some water, purposely aiming it at Becky's face.

"Don't ever do that to me again!" The red-head reached her arm above her girlfriend's head and began to push her back into the water.

Sidney fought back as much as she could, splashing some water in her direction, "You weren't listening to me! You can't learn how to surf if you're not going to listen to your instructor."

"Oh shut up, will 'ya?" Becky laughed while running her fingers through her hair, "Don't do that to me again."

"Can't make any promises." Sidney winked before attaching her lips with Becky's.

AUTHOR'S NOTE
I hope this was what you were looking for, beckyrollinsarmyy! I tried my best to get it done within a few weeks after you placed your request, but obviously, that didn't happen. So, I definitely apologize for making you wait so long for something that could have been done a long time again, but I hadn't found the motivation to finish.

There's so much I have to update that people are looking forward to, and it's hard when you don't have any ideas, man.

I updated BrokenHarts last night, and now I'm updating this, so that's a huge improvement. Two updates from two different books in two days? I definitely haven't done that in a long time.

It feels good to write again, so hopefully that feeling stays around. I'm sorry for the poor writing on this one, though. I'm a little rusty, so forgive me.

And Becky made her wrestling debut today, 17 years ago! That's almost my entire life! I would have only been a few months old! That's insane to think about. I couldn't be more thankful for this woman and everything that she does for me. I could write about all the reasons why I love her all night long.

Once again, I hope you enjoyed it, give a girl some love, throw in more requests if you wish because this was my last one, and I'll talk to y'all in the next one!
