Early in the Morning - 8 : 05 AM ***

My Mom go out to buy some ingredients and groceries at the mall. Mr. Sam was with her. I was alone at home and I decided to watch Lucifer from Netflix . I'm still with my pajama pants as I walk towards the kitchen to make a popcorn. Last night I fetch Mel from their house and lucky her mother let her come with me and have a sleep over in my room. At her young age I can say she is just like me back when I as a child. A lonely girl who always wanted to be friends with our children in town. Amelia is wearing a SpongeBob SquarePants terno outfit she bring also her favorite white teddy bear that she named : Gigi .

I was busy cooking the popcorn when I hear a suddenly door bell from the main door after that I heard Mel shout from the living room and said.

" ATE, THERE'S SOMEONE OUTSIDE ! " she screamed from the sala.

" OPEN IT MEL , ITS MOM. " I shouted so she could hear me.

I hear Amelia running towards the door and open it. I go back waiting to the popcorn untill it will ready to eat. I grab a two plates and put the popcorn on it. I walk towards the living room and placed it on the table then followed Amelia in the door entrance.

I saw Amelia looking at the man outside the door then she turn towards me and said.

" Who is he Ate El. He's not a monster right? " She asked while holding her teddy bear she named Gigi too tight.

I fake a smile then answer.

" He's a friend. Go back to the living room , continue watch the movie. I'll be back after I'll talk to my friend okay? " I said as I open the door to fully saw the man's face.

" Whose child is that? "
the man asked , pointing at amelia who is running towards in our living room.

" No one. She's no one child. What are you doing here? " I said using my cold voice.

" I'm here to talk to you El. " He firmly said.

I took a few steps backwards and ready to close the door when he suddenly block his shoes on it.

" We don't need you , Go back on where you belong. " I answered him as I re open the door . I saw my mother who is loss in her words when he saw my dad Infront of our door.

Her body is vibrating with tension and her eyes is teary like she is ready to break down. I run towards her and grab her hand and run towards our house. I close the door and said.

" Go to your room mom , I'll be the one who will talk with dad. "

My mom shook her head as she answered.
I can see that she is still looking at the man standing in the outside if the house waiting for me to come out.

" No El , I'll fix this. Everything will be okay. " She said with her softening voice.

" By what mom? By welcoming him again in our life like nothing happened? That's shit!" I remark.

I saw the pain in her eyes as I rise my voice at her. She smiled at me and said .

" We made a vow. " She whispered.

" We cheated on you mom. He choose his mistress than us . Why can't you just sign the divorce paper so we can both live with peace! " I uttered.

" You really hate your dad that much, El that you can't even give him a chance to be with us again. You can't forgive your father. " My mom answered me as a tear fall from her eyes.

" Because he left us and choose his mistress instead of us. He spent his years with them not even minding me who is his daughter, he abounded! Is he really a father, mom? Tell me! Did he do his responsibility! " I shouted at her those words. I cry as I fall on the ground. I can't stop hating him from time to time, and I got my reasons why.

My mom opens the door, letting this man I hate the most feel at home again like it used it.

I wipe my tears and stand up and said.

" I hate you! I don't need you! " I proclaimed to the Man I used to admired and love. My father, Henderson Acosta, a successful businessman but a failed father in his responsibility in his family.

I was about to run upstairs when suddenly
there was a sound, like a gun shot I've heard,, and I saw my Dad fell on the carpet and my mom yelled and run towards her. I saw the white rug turned into red because of the blood on it.

Not only that, but I wasn't even scared at what I've witnessed. I wasn't sure of what I felt anything at all.

He stared at me then he snorted,
" You'd protect your sisters from me, would you? I've known what you have done, El. "

I didn't answer. They are my stepsisters still I hate them the most.

" They are the progeny of my mistake, thus my responsibility. I may be cruel or a monster, but I do not shirk my responsibilities nor should shirk yours as the eldest. " He said then he unfortunately fell in the floor make me panic and call the hospital number.

My hand is shaking, and I don't know what to do. I gaze on my mother who is hugging father's body, shaking while she sobbed as she is attempting to wake him up. After a minute, the hospital pick up the call and said.

" What can I help you? " A man spoke from the line.

" Acosta Village , Block 3 , street : A"
I said and wait for his reply.

" Noted. We'll be there after 5 minutes. " He said and end up the call.

I go to the kitchen and grab some towel. I run towards my mom ang give it to him.

" Mom, press this towards his stomach where he got shot. The blood might stop. The ambulance is on their way here. " I said and knee down and hold my father's cheek.

" Papa, hang on. " I said as I tear fall from my eyes because of pain, regret that filled my heart, I wipe it and looked at my mother.

" Everything will be okay, mom. Papa is enough like me. " I said and hug my mom endeavoring to convince her that everything will be fine even if I don't know if it well.

The ambulance was just arrived after a minute then they rush towards my father and check him. They put my father in a scratcher and the ambulance rush immediately to the hospital.

" Hold on, Pa. " I whispered to the air and I dialed Ash, Ron's number.

After a couple of ring Ash, Ron finally pick up the call and said.

" Hey, why did you call? " He asked. But instead of answering him, I just cry my heart out.

" It's my fault. I'm sorry. " My voice broke as I continue to cry. Ash Ron maybe confused right now but I don't care.

" Are you at home, El? " He asked me again.

" Yes, please come over. " I beg him.

" I'm a on way. Everything will be okay. Stop crying. " He said using his softening voice.

" I may be cold towards my father but I'm not a heartless person that you can imagine. Perhaps I hate him because of what he did, but I loved and all I want his attention instead. "

" Ate, why are you crying? " Amelia asked me as she's rubbing her eyes.

" Nothing Mel. Come let's eat then I'll drop you off at your house. I have to go somewhere. " I said and fake a smile because I don't want her to know what happened.

Lucky Amelia is sleeping inside my room, and it's soundproof, she won't be able to hear what's happening if the door was closed.

" But your eyes is so red because you cry a lot po. " She explained.

" Here you go, beef steak and Orange juice for Amelia. " I said and put the beef stake In front of her and turned my back to get some cold water for me.

I drink three cups of water, then go to the Cr after. I wash my face, so I won't look so horrible when Ash Ron comes.

I also pack some rice and beef steak for my mom, so she will have dinner later on. My mom goes with the ambulance because he wanted to be in my father side. I let him because I'm aware that my father needed my mom at this moment.

Ash Ron POV.

I was busy cooking a dish for our dinner in the kitchen when suddenly my heartache. I don't know what happened. I ignore it and continue my cooking when Simon rush towards me handed me the phone.

I looked at it and saw its El who is calling me. Simon's smile is like he become a billionaire by winning a lottery with his teasing reaction face.

I wash my hand first, then grab the phone.
Thereafter, Simon back to the living to continue the game. He is playing with Felix and Demon.

I press the answer button and speak.

" Hey, why did you call? " I asked. But instead of answer that I will receive. I heard her cry at the line.

" It's my fault. I'm sorry. " Her voice broke as she continues to cry.

" Are you at home, El? " I asked her again.

" Yes, please come over. " She begged him.

" I'm on the way. Everything will be okay. Stop crying. " I said using his softening voice.

I ended up the call and remove the apron on my neck. I run towards my room without saying anything.
Simon saw me in hurry, so he shouted from the living and said.

" Where are you going, Ron! "

" To El, she needed me. There's an emergency! " I yelled back and start looking for my car key on my room.

" Don't forget to bring your phone! " This time it's Felix who shouted from inside the house.

After I grab my key and phone ... I run towards the doorway and look back on Simon and Damon in the living room, who continuing to play a game.

" Please turn off the stove and eat dinner without me. " I said and run towards the garage where our cars are parked.

"Okay! " They shouted in unison, the last thing I heard before I drive towards the Acosta Village.

When I arrived at El's house. It's filled with silence. I get out of my car and decided to knock the door, but it's slang open.

I was about to enter when I heard Amelia's and El conversation.

" But your eyes is so red because you cry a lot po. " She explained.

" Here you go, beef steak and Orange juice for Amelia. " El said as she put the beef stake In front of Amelia and turned her back to get some cold water in the kitchen.

I got the chance to enter and sit beside Amelia. Amelia was about to shout to inform El that I was here when I sign her to keep quiet.

El was busy drinking water in the kitchen, so she didn't notice my presence.

When she turned around, her shocked face was disappeared, and she started sobbing.
She run towards me and hug me tightly. She cried on my shoulder. I tap her back to calm her down, she is crying non-stop.

After a couple of minutes, she rises her head and looked at me and said.

" Thank you. By the way,, can ou accompany me to the hospital? " She said while sobbing and wiping her tears away.

" I will, now stop crying. You're such a crying baby, El. " I joked at her.

She laughed at me and said.

" Really, yeah ... Let's go! " She tried to change the topic as she walked away from me.

" Let's drop off, Amelia, to their house before we headed to the hospital. " She added.

" Sure. Are you okay now? "
I asked her.

She smiled at me and said.

" I'm fine. "
She responded.

" I know you're not. " I declared.
