Jessup and Aletta were still sitting the the cold and damp room, the boy's head was on Aletta's shoulder as he whimpered in pain and spasmed.

" We gotta be quite down here Jessup " Aletta said to the boy.

" I just want to sleep " Jessup cried.

" Do you want some water? " Aletta asked and the boy didn't reply as he continued to whimper in pain.

Aletta cupped her hands together and grabbed some water that was on the ground and held it to Jessup's lips but the boy smacked her hands away.

" What have you done to it? " Jessup questioned.

" I didn't do anything, Jessup, I just.....are you okay? " Aletta asked softly hating that her friend was in pain and there was nothing she could do about it " It's okay " she reassured touching his arm lightly " Jessup....come one, go back to sleep, it's going to be okay, I promise " Aletta soothed as she placed a blanket on her should and guided Jessup to lay his head there.

Aletta snapped awake, when she felt Jessup jolt off her should and she was he was still asleep but continued whimpering and spamming, she reached and felt his forehead but Jessup stirred and backed alway from her quickly.

Aletta backed away slowly, when she saw his blood shot eyes, Jessup's mouth began to foam at the mouth.

" What you do to me? " Jessup roared as he chased her.

" Nothing " Aletta replied as she ran and slid under the small opening.

" Lyssie, what is he doing? " Coriolanus asked as he stood from his seat and watched as Jessup chased Aletta up to the arena.

" Somethings wrong? He wouldn't turn on her like this " Lyssie replied as she stood.

" Jessup going after Aletta " Flikerman commented.

" Go to the stands, go to the stands " Coriolanus muttered fearing for Aletta.

" Stop running...what did you....." Jessup shouted before he tripped and Aletta quickly climbed up some rubble as jessup got up and chased her up the rubble " What did you do to me? ".

" I didn't do anything....Jessup, it's me Aletta " Aletta cried as she scrambled backwards up the rubble as Jessup climbed to her.

" Two tributes from district twelve.....the same district folding in on itself' " Flikerman said.

Coriolanus turned back to the screen and saw white foam coming from Jessup's mouth.

" Wait look......the foam, I think it's rabies " Coriolanus said.

" That bite....from the train " Lyssie sighed.

" Send him water " Coriolanus demanded.

" What, what? ".

" You remember the posters in the war? Rabies? It makes you afraid of water, send him a drone ".

" that'll scare him ".

" Yes.....away from her, Jessup is done ....Lyssie, you're the only one that can get it right to him ".

Lyssie turned to her screen and sent water to Jessup.

" Thank you " Coriolanus sighed in relief.

" Nothing to be proud of " Lyssie replied.

" Please, please, please....Jessup " Aletta pleaded as she moved backwards.

" What is wrong with me? " Jessup said as he grabbed her.

Aletta heard a sound behind her and saw a drone flying at them and she ducked and the drone hit Jessup causing him to scream and fall back down on the ground below.

Aletta looked at Jessup's body below and felt her lip tremble and tears well up in her eyes as she slowly slid down the rubble and kneeled in front of Jessup and grabbed his hand.

" I'm not going anywhere...okay? " Aletta said as she looked at Jessup, who looked back at her with a softened gaze " You watched over me.....now I'm gonna watched over you.....sleep now, Jessup.....your free " aletta said softly as she felt tears run down her face, she let out a choked sob, when he stopped breathing and she let go of his hand and closed his eyes.

Aletta jumped up, when she head the sound of rocks moving and she backed away from Jessup and looked to see Coral and her minions standing in front of her.

One of them whipped a chain at her leg and she fell to the ground, she grabbed a rock and threw it t Treech causing they all laughed.

" Hey Coral, do you mind if I take this one? " Treech asked.

" Not a chance " Coral scoffed before ducking as a drove flew at her.

Aletta stayed on the ground as more drones came and knocked over the tributes, after the attack was over, Aletta sat up and saw coral and her minions on the ground groaning and she quickly got up and grabbed a water as she passed before hiding between some rubble.

" You idiots? How did you possibly let her get away " Coral snapped as she got up.

" I couldn't see a thing ".

" Get this water into a pile, lumberjack " Coral demanded as she looked at Treech " And when your done, you two can watch that beam, while we get your little friend from back home at least ".

Aletta watched as Treech collected the waters into a pile and looked at the one in her hand and remembered the compact that Coriolanus had given her, she looked at the camera before ducking behind the rubble, where the camera couldn't see.

She opened the lid of the water before grabbing out the compact and began to empty the contents into the water careful not to get it on her or breath it in, she then closed the lid and put the compact in her pocket and then shakes the bottle before slowly climbing out of the hole and carefully and quietly snuck past Coral and her minions and to the waters they had collected and placed the poisoned water behind her and then began to empty the other waters before replacing it with the one she tampered with as Coral noticed her.

Aletta quickly ran up the rubble leading to the stands and climbed into the vent and tried closing it but Coral stopped her and Aletta tugged harder and closing the door on Coral's finger causing her to cry in pain and tug her hand out and Aletta quickly closed the latch and leaned her head back against the vent wall behind her as she let out a sigh of relief.
