T W E N T Y - S E V E N
Taehyung shook his head as he walked into the staircase, hiding under them, pulling some boxes to help hide himself.
Thankfully, the staircase didn't have too many cameras in there — though Taehyung personally believed they should have more cameras there, he wasn't complaining.
He hugged himself, pulling out his phone to see the time. A small bit more than an hour left. While he checked his phone, he also saw all of the messages from his friends.
Kookie:

Taehyung shut his phone off, not wanting to see anymore messages. He leaned against the wall. He started to remember more about his ex lover, his beautiful face, his ugly personality, his rough hands, his vulgar language, his fists, his eyes.
Taehyung remembered his name.
Jimin made a promise that he wouldn't bring it up ever again and that they could work on removing everything. Taehyung told Jimin he didn't even want to remember his ex's name.
Taehyung remembered the time his ex hit him and Jimin saw, the first time he ever punched him in his face with such strength and knocked him off his feet, he remembered it so vividly now. He hated it.
"Okay! So! This is the part I was telling you about! The funny part!" Taehyung giggled, pointing at the TV screen as he sat beside Jimin, keeping small distant because he didn't want to anger his lover even if Jimin was only a friend and will ever only be a friend.
Jimin and Taehyung were watching a cartoon together, Taehyung finally able to convince his hyung to come over and watch it.
Taehyung informed his best friend that his boyfriend would be over any moment then, saying how his lover said it was okay for Jimin to come over.
The two teens were at Taehyung's boyfriend house. Why? Because Taehyung liked it more being at his boyfriend's house, and, Taehyung wanted to show Jimin to his boyfriend and his boyfriend to Jimin formally. He was excited.
As they engulfed themselves into the cartoon, there was a knock on the door. Taehyung gasped, rushing over — nearly tripping over his own two feet, might he add — going to the door. He unlocked and soon opened the door.
"Minji!" Taehyung wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, smiling box-ily. "I missed you, Minji-baby!" He added, looking up with big doe eyes, sparkling for only his lover.
The Minji person shut the door behind him, leaning down as he kissed Taehyung's soft lips, rustling his hair. "Hey, Taetae." He smiled down at his perfect boyfriend.
Jimin stood up, fixing his shirt to look somewhat presentable. "Hi, Minji, I'm Jimin." Greeted the shorter teen.
Minji smiled, retracting his arms from Taehyung. He shook Jimin's hand as a kind gesture. "And I'm Minji." He grinned widely.
Taehyung giggled, bouncing on his feet. "Do you want anything to drink?" He asked Minji, looking up at his boyfriend who smiled sweetly. Seeing him shake his head.
"You sit down, love. You and Jimin were watching something. Continue, it's okay." Minji commented, pecking Taehyung's forehead before he walked away into the kitchen.
Taehyung turned, the widest, boxiest, loveliest, prettiest, cutest, most stunning grin on his face with a sweep of red painting over his cheeks and ears, his heart pumping, his eyes sparkling. "I love him so much!"
Jimin witness how sweet the two were to each other, unable to help the smile on his face. "I see you do, Tae. Let us continue watching our cartoons now though." Jimin took a seat, patting beside him.
The youngest in the house gave a small nod, moving beside his best friend, the one he trusted with everything; every little detail.
What Jimin heard about Minji didn't describe the person he just saw. When Taehyung called him at one AM in the morning to tell him about how bad it hurt after losing his virginity to Minji, Jimin pictured someone who was more rude, he was prepared to see someone who was hurtful.
Taehyung only just lost his virginity three days ago. After Jimin heard of what happened, he wanted to see how Minji was towards Taehyung but he showed nothing but kindness.
Maybe Taehyung was acting and Minji as well about the cruel punishments to hide what happened behind closed doors.
The two just continued on, Jimin unable to drop the endless amounts of theories of what actually could be going on. He felt bad however, why couldn't he just accept this?
"Oh! I like this part!" Taehyung announced, clutching onto a sofa pillow, sucking in a deep breath. "Jiminie! Watch!" He urged, giggling like a small child who just got their favorite toy.
Jimin rolled his eyes, his eyes gluing to the screen so he could watch everything that happened and so Taehyung would calm himself down.
They giggled together until Minji came back, looking at Taehyung with a serious look. "Tae," he called, making the aforementioned look over. "Can I talk to you a moment?" He inquired.
The mentioned teen nodded, getting up and trotting over to his lover. He kept a smile, taking Minji's hands until they were tugged away from him. Minji made Taehyung stay looking up at him.
Jimin watched intensely, unsure if he should step in or not. He felt his body freeze as he watched the two others.
He slowly took in a deep breath, gulping. Was he going to see Minji yell and be mean to his taller yet younger friend? Be rude? Shove him? Leave? Maybe it wasn't bad at all.
Minji didn't go very far and Jimin sat right there. He however couldn't hear anything they were saying to each other.
Soon enough, Jimin watched Taehyung's face turn to the opposite direction of Jimin, watching which seemed like Taehyung who fell backwards in slow motion.
The gasp escaping the soft lips of Kim Taehyung, the way his hair flung, to the direction his face went in. The sound of Minji's fist off of Taehyung's face echoed throughout the room.
Jimin saw the look on Minji's face as his fist collided with Taehyung's delicate cheek, the look of pure rage and anger, the look that said he meant what he did and showed no love nor any remorse.
The youngest teen felt the instant stinging sensation that was sent through his face, the undeniable pain scanning the area. It immediately went red, the print of the fist lining his cheek.
Taehyung fell to the floor with a thump, a wince an whimper exiting his soft lips into the ears of the others who were around.
Minji used his strength to punch Taehyung in his face, raising his voice at the young teen who now laid back on the floor.
Jimin shot up from his seat, running over and kneeling beside Taehyung who held his red cheek that had just been hit. "Are you fucking crazy?!" Jimin yelled, looking between Minji and Taehyung.
The youngest teen began to cry out in pain, covering his face and rolling on his side, his cries going to sobs and whimpers and winces and groans, tears flooding out of his eyes and down his cheeks, his cheek instantly bruising.
Minji 'tsk'ed, rolling his eyes before he walked out of the room, coming back with his coat. He didn't want to hear the bullshit, cursing profanities under his breath.
He left his home, not daring to ask or check on the crying teen.
"Tae? Are you okay? Hey, hey, look at me." Jimin helped Taehyung sit up. Taehyung had his hands over his face, trying to hide himself. "Please, talk to me, I'm here." Jimin promised and reassured his best friend.
Taehyung wiped his warm tears, hesitantly looking to Jimin. Jimin removed Taehyung's hand away from his bruising cheek, seeing the clear marks of Minji's fist.
He gulped, forcing a smile to Taehyung as he brushed his hair back. "I-It isn't that bad, Taehyung." He whispered, lying to his friend but he didn't want him to panic.
"I-I-It h-hurts . . ." Taehyung sobbed, his vision blurry.
"Why did he hit you? Has he hit you before?" Jimin inquired, keeping the sad boy close to him. He wrapped his arms around him and pulled him closer, rubbing soothing and gentle circles into his backside.
Taehyung paused, clearing his throat as he began to spill the beans of their relationship. "H-He got m-m-mad because I-I talked to h-his friends a-and ate some of h-his food." He didn't answer the second question that was asked to him.
The oldest listened, biting his lip. "Tae? Has Minji hit you before? Is this the first time Minji hit you?" He was scared to ask the question.
His heart broke as he listened to what Taehyung had to say, listening to Taehyung say how it wasn't the first time.
"H-H-He's h-hit me . . . B-But never this h-hard. I-I promise." Taehyung tried to assure Jimin but that wasn't working out very well. "H-He j-just gets angry. T-That's all."
"Oh, Taehyung . . . It only gets worse if you stay with him." Jimin breathed, kissing the shell of his ear, holding him closely to his chest as he stroked his back and hair, rocking back and forth. "How do I help you? This isn't okay, Tae. He'll ruin you. He'll hurt you so much more than he's ever had before if you stay with him, especially if it's over small things."
Taehyung closed his eyes as he listened to Jimin's heartbeat, trying to slow down his crying. He should've listened to Jimin.
"There you are,"
