Jungkook paced back and forth, his head in his hands. He was overwhelmed with millions of thoughts about his identical brother and his health, wanting to make sure he was okay. He hadn't received any news about him and if he was doing better.
Jungkook was panicking. He didn't talk to anyone unless it was a doctor. He was informed that Jeongguk had to get surgery of some sort for his neck and upper back.
He couldn't think right. His parent was on a business trip, he was left walking around in the hospital with his friends, his brother getting surgery.
Taehyung tried to help Jungkook but was ignored. He sat by Jimin, rubbing his face. "I never seen someone look so distress like this. He's so anxious, he's going to hurt himself." Commented the second youngest.
Jimin agreed. "Jeongguk and Jungkook are overly close to each other. They rely on one another more than anything. I'm not sure if that's healthy or not."
"Let's just hope they're okay." Taehyung sighed, laying his head back, closing his eyes slowly. If today wasn't eventful enough for anyone reading this, just wait and continue on.
Yoongi walked into the building, seeing Jungkook who was pacing back and worth. He didn't know what to say or do first. He could sense the panic coming from Jungkook, the nonstop worrying. He saw how anxious he was, how fidgety he looked.
The oldest of the group looked at Taehyung who's head was back, Jimin who had his head on Taehyung's shoulder, and Hoseok who was asleep. They must've all been here for awhile.
He walked slowly to Jungkook. "Is he . . . Okay?" Yoongi asked, taking notice of how the youngest of them all froze, slowly yet surely turning to face Yoongi.
When Yoongi says he saw hatred in Junhkook's eyes, he meant it as he said it. The younger was angered to the fullest, fueled with rage.
Before he knew it, Jungkook picked Yoongi up and shoved him into the wall, beginning to yell at him through his tears and sobs, ready to start beating the shit out of Yoongi for not being there or coming sooner.
"Where were you?! You made him so upset! Why didn't you text us back?! What the fuck, Yoongi! He looked for you and was worried! You being you fucking lied! You broke your promise!" Jungkook shouted loud enough for Taehyung, Jimin, and Hoseok to all rush over.
"Kook!" Taehyung complained. "Stop! Let him explain!" He added in quickly, pulling Jungkook away along with Hoseok and Jimin.
Yoongi gulped, looking down at the ground. "I'm sorry for what happened to Gguk but I really tried to, Jungkook." He said, wrapping his arms around himself.
Jungkook glared at Yoongi, but the more he stared at the eldest, he realized the bruises riddled all over him, covering his cheeks and his busted lip, his bruises on his hands and neck. Jungkook began to calm down. "What happened to you?" He asked in a soft voice, shaking off the other three.
Yoongi tried pulling his sleeves over his hands. "They kicked me out again, Jungkook." He mumbled, not daring to look up and meet their gazes.
"They did? Why did they kick you out? Did they beat you?" Jungkook approached Yoongi, looking over his face even though the one with white hair was trying to stop him. "Right here isn't the place to talk about me. We're here for Jeongguk. I'm sorry I couldn't make it."
Jungkook felt like shit now that he realized why Yoongi couldn't come. The teen nodded, crossing his arms over his chest. "We will talk once we know Jeongguk is doing okay. He's in surgery right now and isn't said to be done for another two hours."
Hoseok felt his heart ache, he wanted to cradle Yoongi and rock him and show him it's okay. He took a step forward but was stopped once realizing Jimin had wrapped his arms around Yoongi before he could.
Taehyung must've been the only one confused. "Wait, again? What do you mean again? Has this happened before, Yoongi-hyung? Have you been kicked out before?" He asked.
Jungkook placed his hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "We'll talk about what happened later, for now, give him space." With his words, he turned and walked away, beginning to pace again in the lobby.
Taehyung couldn't express the millions of emotions traveling within side of his body. He didn't know what to do. Should he comfort Yoongi or Jungkook? Should he try to help?
He sucked in a sharp breath of air, walking towards the brunet. "Jungkook," He breathed out, stopping the aforementioned from walking anymore by wrapping his arms around his backside, leaning his head against the younger's spine. "What's your favorite memory with Jeongguk? What is something you both have done that was really stupid? Have you guys ever made each other so mad that you wish he wasn't your twin?"
Jungkook listened to the ask questions. Why did he feel so needy? He felt like he needed to answer these questions, he needed to give an answer to the shorter teen, he wanted to sit down and hold him and tell him. Why?
"Uhm . . ." Jungkook choked on his air once realizing he didn't breathe for the last ten seconds. He pulled Taehyung's arms off of his waist, turning around to look at Taehyung.
As he stared down at the beauty in front of him, he felt the need to just burst into tears and tell him everything. Taehyung looked like he cared so much. Jungkook took in every beauty-mark and imperfection that Taehyung had.
The double fold on his eye, the scar by his lips, the mole on his nose, lip, and eye, his long lashes that batted, his full brows, his wavy caramel-colored hair, his everything.
Jungkook's palms found their way on Taehyung's cheeks, stroking the skin as he parted is thin lips.
"Jeongguk and I haven't spent a whole day from one another. We rely on each other like no one else is there for us. We only know each other." He began to speak pleasingly of his identical twin brother.
"My favorite memory with Jeongguk was when we were little . . . I think we were about nine-years-old, but this is when telling us apart was nearly impossible. Me and him were playing soccer outside." He weakly smiled, keeping Taehyung's face in his hands. "He kicked the ball. It was coming right for my face so I ducked and when I did, it hit and broke the car window that belong to our neighbors."
He took a moment to recall every detail. "We both panicked, the car went off and so we had to decide quickly. We saw the old lady come running out, already yelling at us. She didn't like us very much. I never knew why, but Mrs. Chen was never fond of me and Jeongguk. With our quick thinking, I decided to take the blame. She asked for my name and I said it, next thing I know, I'm being dragged to my front door. Jeongguk is running behind to hurry and catch up. She knocks on our door and my mom answers. She already knows what's about to happen."
Jungkook was smiling weakly as he told every detail that happened, not noticing Taehyung wrapped his arms around him and laid his head on his chest.
"Mrs. Chen started to say what happened, when she said my name, I corrected it to Jeongguk. She already was confused but continued to go on with the story. She said Jeongguk's names and that's when Jeongguk then corrected it back to my name. We took turns correcting the name, making this old lady more than just confused. Soon, she told our mother to forget it and told us to stay away from her and her house. Sure, our eomma did yell at us but she also told us we were very clever because now she didn't need to pay for it." Jungkook chuckled, not feeling his tears roll down his eyes.
Taehyung smiled at the fond memory. "That sounds amazing. What about ever being so mad at him that you wish you weren't ever twins?" He asked in a soft voice.
"I don't think he's ever made me mad to the point where I wish he wasn't my twin. Surely I told him I hated him before but we made up quickly. I remember a time where I was beyond piss at him for something he did." Jungkook shrugged, his left palm rubbing Taehyung head, playing with his caramel locks.
"This is more around a year ago, maybe slightly more than just a year but I was home doing some type of work. I think it was for my science project then. Jeongguk told my mom and me that he was going to the store. I didn't want to go because I had to finish up my homework. We started acting more different around then. He was obviously the worse twin and I was the better of us." He smiled bunny-like.
Taehyung enjoyed being cared like this and listening to the soft stories being told to him.
"Our eomma was making . . . I forget exactly what she was making, but she was making something. Our house phone goes off and I decide to answer it. They ask for my eomma and I hand it to her. As she talks to this person, I notice her face become a bit pale and now I worry. What if something happened to my appa? I haven't seen him in awhile, what if he got hurt? Well, he didn't. But Jeongguk did." He sighed, rocking a bit with Taehyung in front of him.
"Apparently, Jeongguk thought it was a fantastic idea to try and steal from some teen. He got into a fight with an older man and was taken into police custody. Me and my mother needed to go pick up my brother who sat at the station. I remember thinking of how stupid someone could be. My eomma was crying the whole time, mumbling things I couldn't understand because she was saying them in English, she being fluent in the language and I'm not." He made a mocking tone.
"We arrived, Jeongguk was sitting on a bench inside with ice on his eye. My eomma talked to the officer and I went straight to Jeongguk, beginning to scold him. I told him he was stupid and shouldn't have done that and now he might go to jail, I bashed in his skull, I called him so many names. He just accepted it. I felt bad but I didn't show I did. He got his ass beat. He'll tell you he never lost a fight but he lost that one. Luckily, the guy dropped the charges on Jeongguk for trying to steal and starting the fight, he said that Jeongguk got enough and should learn his lesson." Jungkook smiled weakly. "I was so mad at him."
Taehyung giggled. "Have you guys done something really stupid?" He hummed out, a weak smile plastered to his cheeks.
"Everything we do together is stupid, Taehyung. We go hand-in-hand, he does something stupid and I need to match that." Jungkook opened his eyes, seeing as Taehyung had his eyes closed.
The slightly older one yawned, pursing his lips into a unintentional pout which made his lips irresistible. "Are you tired?" Taehyung picked his head up after hearing Jungkook ask. "What if I am? I'm trying to stay awake but I'm really-"
"Don't worry, let's sit down and you can sleep." Jungkook smiled softly, taking a seat in a chair. "You can sleep while we wait for Jeongguk."
Taehyung nodded, he hesitated but walked to the chair beside Jungkook to take a seat but his arm was gripped and he was pulled onto Jungkook's lap.
"Lay on me, silly. These chairs aren't so comfortable and I'm sure you'll find comfort laying on me." Jungkook smiled, pulling the caramel-haired close to his chest, his hand resting on Taehyung's hip.
"Sleep well, beautiful."
Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jimin all stood confused to how Jungkook allowed Taehyung to sit on his lap and even sleep.
"He's in love, I swear." Commenced the eldest. "He never does this."
