S E V E N T Y - S I X
"So, now . . . You think you have feelings for Hoseok?" Jeongguk asked as they passed the ball back and forth, something the author might've forgot they've done a lot in gym class.
Yoongi sighed and shook his head. "No . . . Not necessarily." He replied. "Maybe. I'm not exactly sure anymore."
"So what made you realize it?" Jeongguk questioned, dribbling the ball between his left and right hand. "You just suddenly realize how he's actually a good person or what?"
". . . I guess." Yoongi uttered. "He's there for me. He's such a good guy, so caring. I asked Seokjin to bring someone with him and he brought him."
"Still can't believe he didn't take me. I'm your best friend." Jeongguk argued, shooting the ball and missing it but that's when Yoongi scooted over and grabbed the ball.
"You're saying some ballsy shit. Admitting Hoseok's a good guy and that you're my best friend." Yoongi smirked, shooting his own basket and making it unlike Jeongguk who sulked with a bitter attitude.
The younger teen hummed, crossing his arms over his chest. "Part of me hoped Namjoon had really gotten stuck in the window." He replied. "But regardless, I'm really glad you're out of that situation, Yoongi. Are you staying with Hoseok?"
"I have to talk to him about that but I want to. I really do but I hate to keep asking for things. I just replay the stupid shit I did to him, made him suffer while I gushed over Jimin." Said the eldest, letting the ball roll away from them.
"Well, I mean, I would let you stay with me but I have a boyfriend and a brother and a mother who doesn't know how to let shit go." Jeongguk chuckled dryly. "Two of those things I'm happy to have at the moment right now."
"I'm sure, Gguk, I'm sure." Yoongi smiled weakly as he looked at the Jeon Twin. "If he's willing to let me stay, then I'll gladly take up the offer. I'll get a job and help pay for rent or something."
"You know damn well that boy isn't going to make you pay for shit." Jeongguk replied quickly, patting Yoongi's shoulder. "Just don't fuck up, ya know."
"You're one to talk." And with those stupid words, Yoongi felt a pinch on his arm, sharply wincing.

"I wish some of your friends would take the time to know me instead of assuming I'm bad news." Leehyun muttered.
"They kind of are. They had you help set up that thing for me which might be big news." Taehyung grinned in his direction, nudging him gently. "They're getting use to you. I think you should stop worrying."
"I guess." Leehyun said in a breathy tone, looking away with a bummed look.
"They might be jealous because you've known me the longest!" Taehyung teased. "Even longer than Jimin! Don't worry, Lee, they'll grow accustomed to you." The blond-haired teen assured.
"I sure do hope so." He let out softly. The sudden mention of Taehyung's friend brought him to his next topic. "But your one friend, Jimin, like you were saying," he tried not to seem too flustered. "He's really-"
"Tae!" The two looked down the hall and saw one of the Jeon Twins, Leehyun unsure on what twin it was nor did he actually care to figure it out. He was upset at being cut off.
"Do they ever not bother you?" Leehyun muttered more to himself than anything, looking down at his feet as Taehyung walked a bit fast to meet his boyfriend in the middle. He just wanted to catch up with Taehyung alone without a distraction getting in the way.
Turned out it was Jungkook who called Taehyung. He leaned in and pecked Taehyung's lips, sweeping his arm over the slightly older's shoulder. "Leehyun, Tae, hi," he greeted them both.
Taehyung smiled and looked back at Leehyun. "Told you they're getting use to you." He said, watching the aforementioned roll his eyes and walk alongside the couple.
"Anyways," Jungkook hummed. "Just wanted to get you to your next class or whatever. Just wanting to be a good boyfriend, be here for you, show you I love you."
"Ew," Leehyun said. He spoke a little too loud but what more did he have to lose at this point?
"What's so 'ew'?" Jungkook questioned, lifting a brow with curiosity.
"So . . . Lovey. Actually disgusting." He retorted with a sour tone, not trying to shade it whatsoever.
"Just mad you don't have anyone." The Jeon Twin replied swiftly.
Leehyun 'tsk'ed. "Yeah right, as if I need anyone. I could easily get anyone I wanted." The elder spoke with confidence.
"You guys were doing so good. Why did I jinx it?" Taehyung asked, shaking his head as he listened to the two bicker back and forth. He just stayed quiet after that.
"Oh really? Who do you want? I bet you can't." Jungkook stopped them in the middle of the hallway, reaching into his pocket and pulling out ten dollars. "So?" He tilted his head, fiddling with the money.
"Jimin."
The name made Taehyung snap his head to the side so fast that he swore it would be sore in the morning. "Jimin? Hyung?" He repeated to make sure he was hearing it correctly. "The short one?"
It would be an understatement to say Jungkook wasn't surprised himself. "Wait, really? I mean, shit, go for it. He has his eyes on someone else anyways." Jungkook laughed.
"So? I'm sure I could somehow score a date." Leehyun didn't ever feel this ballsy. He was actually frightened. "Ten dollars says I can." He held his hand out right in front of Jungkook who shook it.
"You can ask once you see him. That or your forfeit, your choice." Jungkook handed the money to Taehyung who would keep ahold of it, Leehyun soon doing their same; following suit.
"Bet. I got this." Leehyun rolled his shoulders, trying to shake his nerves he had managed to muster up.
Jungkook began to walk again, still having his arm around Taehyung. "Mhmm, and remember, you need to actually score the date, not just ask." He said and pulled his phone out, texting someone.
Leehyun couldn't deny his nerves, actually feeling his palms get sweaty. He sucked in a sharp breath, walking when they walked. "You say that if it's hard." He tried to talk himself up.
Taehyung hummed and broke into the conversation. "Not that I don't have faith in you, Lee, but Jimin hasn't dated anyone since moving here and has only had about two crushes. You could've picked any girl or guy here and Jimin is who you landed on?"
"Yeah, stupid right."
"I didn't say that, Kookie." Taehyung piped. "Anyways, I'm rooting for you! I rather not hear Kook brag about how he got ten dollars from you." He added, smiling to himself.
Leehyun took that into consideration, he smiled weakly to himself. He got this, he believed in himself, he could do this.
"What did you need, Jungkook?" And that's when it hit him that he couldn't. Jimin walked right out of his classroom, phone in hand.
"You texted him?" Leehyun asked with nervousness.
"Damn it, Jimin, you weren't supposed to say anything. Can't you read?" Jungkook rolled his eyes and chuckled. "I don't need anything, Leehyun here just wanted to ask you something." He turned the spotlight onto the other.
Taehyung huffed and pulled away from Jungkook. "That was mean." He uttered. "Leehyun, you don't need to ask Jimin right now. You can just-"
Leehyun shook his head at Taehyung, offering a smile before he parted away, walking towards Jimin. He gulped. He could feel his face heat up and his hands tremble. Leehyun felt like a nervous wreck.
"I'm confused. Am I needed for an actual reason or-?" Jimin asked as his eyes scanned the three others, a brow cocked.
"Um, yeah." Leehyun cleated his throat. "To just get straight to the point . . . Um, would you want to go on a date with me? Like, um, this Friday?" He asked, feeling his voice crack.
"Is that the reason I was called out here?" Jimin asked, crossing his arms loosely over his firm chest.
Those few words really hit Leehyun hard in his chest. He was actually hoping Jimin would agree to it. He didn't care about the money but he actually wanted to go on the date.
"Shit, well, okay." Jungkook wasn't laughing, he stretched out his arms. "That's all, Jimin." He said.
"Oh, hmm," Jimin nodded, looking back at Leehyun. "What time?"
That's when Jungkook's, Leehyun's, and Taehyung's jaw dropped.
The eldest of the group stumbled over his words. "Um, uh . . . Seven? Saturday night, right? Maybe?"
"You're the one asking, so, is that the time you want?" Jimin smiled kindly, tilting his head.
"Oh, f-for sure." Leehyun smiled lopsidedly, he was shocked but utterly happy. He felt like a kid on Christmas Day.
Jimin patted Leehyun's shoulder and walked away. That's when Leehyun jumped up and down and grinned like a madman. He was absolutely thrilled.
