S E V E N T Y - N I N E

Jeongguk sat in the car, not bothering to get out and rejoin with the group at dinner. He didn't care if he ruined it, he didn't care if he messed up everyone's night. He didn't give two fucks.

He personally believed he didn't overreact. He hated how Taehyung insisted on sticking with the ugly fucker, how he hung out and tried so hard to make everyone befriend him.

He didn't think Taehyung would cheat. He didn't think the aforementioned was going to do something worth regretting, he just thought that Taehyung should keep a distance.

Part of Jeongguk knew that wasn't right. He knew he couldn't make Taehyung stop being friends with his buddy.

Jeongguk knew it was safe to say he was as possessive and bipolar, restricting over his boyfriend who he unfortunately had to share with his twin brother. He had to share first loves.

Moments later and the younger twin opened Jeongguk's door. "Get out." He demanded. The raven-haired teen shook his head, trying to pull the door shut. "No, get out right now and get your ass back in that restaurant. Apologize to Taehyung and the rest of the group, and eat your fucking food. We're not doing this today, Jeongguk, we're going to be on our best fucking behavior just for Taehyung and make sure he feels appreciated. I'm starting to agree with the readers, this is ridiculous at this point."

"Can you just leave me alone?!" Jeongguk seethed. "I don't want to go back to the table, don't want to talk to anyone, can't you respect that?!" He shouted.

Jungkook rolled his eyes. "You're acting like a child." He said. "Sometimes I wonder why I ever looked up to you, clearly you aren't big brother material. You act like a fucking baby who got his toys taken away. I was upset too but I didn't throw a little bitch fit and leave."

Jeongguk hated to admit the sharp pain his heart felt with his brother's venomous words. He didn't know what to say. He couldn't argue with someone who was obviously correct in the worst ways possible.

"So, are we going to sit here and go back and forth, or are you going to pull on your big boy pants, march your muscular ass back in there, and apologize?" Jungkook sounded fed up. He watched the anger ebb away from Jeongguk's features that then filled with disappointment; sadness.

"Can you just . . . Can I sit here for a moment? Alone?" The elder twin asked, looking at his brother who let out a huff. "A moment. Don't spend the rest of the evening in here." Jungkook said sternly, showing he can be mature about the situation.

That's when the younger parted ways and made his stride back into the restaurant.

Jeongguk pulled the car door shut and leaned back in his seat, fiddling with his thumbs. "Great . . . I'm wrong and apologizing once again." He gulped, feeling his eyes sting a bit.

Yes, Jeongguk is wrong. Yes, he knows that. Yes, he is truly sorry. But he's constantly in the wrong, constantly apologizing and feeling sorry, he almost feels like he's just the bad guy.

Duh.

Some would agree that he should feel this way while others could beg to differ and pity the older twin. He just felt angry at himself for allowing his uncontrolled emotions handle him more than he could handle himself.

"He said he just needs a moment to himself." Jungkook reported back to the table, taking a seat and wrapping his arm around Taehyung's shoulders. "He's upset but not at you, Taehyung, so please don't feel like he's angry with what you said."

Taehyung gave a slight nod, looking over at Jungkook but his eyes were quick to scan the glass doors of the building they were in to see if he could see his other boyfriend. "Thanks, Kookie," he leaned close and pressed his thick lips to his, making it last three short seconds.

Namjoon released a deep breath he didn't quite realize he was holding in. "So, I think we need to do some bonding exercises. We clearly don't do well anywhere we go."

"I personally thought going out to dinner would be a bonding experience." Seokjin shrugged, sipping on his Coca-Cola, feeling the cold and sparkling liquid slide down his esophagus gradually.

"At least we got good food out of it. Better than the school's lunches." Hoseok said, picking up his hamburger and taking a wide bite from it. He had a bit of Sprit to go with it. Not the fanciest of meals but Hoseok was very pleased with the outcome and that's all that matters.

"Well, um, Jimin," Jungkook vocalized the elder's name, seeing the said teen slowly look up and meet eyes. "You're going on that date with Leehyun, right? Again, like Tae had told you, he was genuine about how he felt, he was happy to go on a date with you."

"I'll think about it." Jimin shrugged, finishing his last few bites of his pork with rice. "I don't want to go over the topic again. We're calming down, relaxing, let's not talk about it, 'kay?"

"I'm sorry about what I said. It wasn't to hurt your feelings, so I am sorry." Jungkook genuinely apologized because he was actually sorry.

Jimin offered a weak smile. "I appreciate the apology, Kook." He uttered and then joined in with Namjoon and Seokjin who were talking about the most attractive of the group. Seokjin clearly holding world champ.

Moments had passed, Taehyung internally sighed and pushed out this seat this time. "Kookie, I'm going to go see what's taking him so long."

"Are you sure? I can go drag him in here. You don't have to worry." Jungkook spoke, trying to stand but Taehyung urged him to take a seat; insisting he go out.

"I honestly think me going out there would be better than you. I'll be back, I promise." He smiled, quickly pecking his lips before he turned and left out of the building.

He saw Jungkook's car and that the passenger side was filled in. The said teen had parked on the right side so the blond-haired teen didn't need to go across the street.

Taehyung sucked in a reasonable breath, preparing himself mentally to face his boyfriend. He felt nervous almost.

The aforementioned pushed from his spot and trudged towards the vehicle. He knocked on the glass, seeing The Jeon Twin jump with surprise.

Jeongguk quickly turned his head and wiped his face off, fixing his hair. He then proceeded to reveal himself after pressing a button to roll the window down. "I was just-"

"Are you crying?" Taehyung was bewildered. He pulled on the car door and cupped Jeongguk's cheeks. "Why are you crying?" He asked, using the pads of his thumb to wipe away the stray tears Jeongguk missed.

"I-I'm not!" He pulled his face back. "I'm not- Taehyung, stop."

"Jeongguk," Taehyung sternly spoke. "Don't lie to me. I asked why are you crying." He took his hands into his own, giving a gentle squeeze.

"It's stupid," Jeongguk turned his body and somewhat spread his legs so Taehyung could fit and stand closer to him. "But I don't want to talk about me right now, I want to-"

"I do." Taehyung kept his strict demeanor. "Ggukie, are you upset? Did I hurt your feelings or something? I'm sorry."

"What? No! Taehyung, don't you ever apologize to me when it's clearly my fault!" Jeongguk narrowed his brows. "Taehyung, I'm sorry. Me! I'm so sorry that I got mad at you over something so stupid. I overreacted and I know that, you didn't deserve to be embarrassed by my actions." He unintentionally began to tear up again. "I'm really sorry I'm not being the best boyfriend that I can be. You don't deserve the shit I give you. I promise I love you and I would do anything to keep you by my side." Jeongguk breathed, it now being his turn to cup Taehyung's cheeks. "I'm so in love with you. I know I'm not showing it to the fullest extent, I'm not loving you like I should, but I love you. I don't want you to forgive me, not right now. I want you to be mad at me and angry with me. I want you to feel disappointed in me."

Taehyung leaned in, pressing his soft cherry lips against Jeongguk's thinner ones. "Hun, I know you want me to be upset with you but I'm not going to be. I'm glad to see you know you're in the wrong, I'm happy you feel sorry for what you did but me being pissed off at you would do what?"

"Make me realize that I should stop being a dickhead?"

Taehyung chuckled. "Silly, you need to realize that because you see it, not because I get mad at you. Dogs get rewarded for their good behavior."

"But I'm not a dog."

"You act like one." Taehyung joked. "Now stop throwing yourself a little pity party and come finish dinner with us, Ggukie. We miss you."

Jeongguk pulled Taehyung close. He didn't kiss him, he wrapped his arms around him and held them so their chests were touching. He could feel Taehyung's heart beat against his skin and it was the most soothing feeling — their hearts seeming to beat as one.

He laid his head on his shoulder, breathing in his scent. "I love you, Taehyung, I really do. I love everything about you. You're so beautiful, so perfect, you have no idea how head over heels I am for you. I never felt so connected to someone and I never want to lose what we have. Ever."

"I love you too, Ggukie." Taehyung kissed the shell of his ear, rubbing his hands all over his back. "I love you and Kookie so much. You guys are my world, without you guys by me, I think I would be lost on loving someone again. I know Minji is long gone but you boys have truly helped me realize my worth and that it's time to let go. He was burned in the back of my mind like a tattoo but I know that it's really time to let go. I accept myself for the way I am now because you, Kookie, and everyone else has helped me, even if they don't know it." Taehyung made sure he spoke loud enough for Jeongguk to hear him but not too loud where he could hurt his ears.

Jeongguk hated how emotional he was but Taehyung was that meaningful to him. His words made Jeongguk feel feeble; feeling so weak but swept right back to his feet.

"Thank you," he breathed.
